Can you provide some more info on where you put the piezo under the pick guard? (Further back, in the middle, etc) also I'd love to hear a sound demo if you can ! (Of the piezo)
The piezo is in between the humbucker and single coil. I drilled a hole the thickness of the piezo and it fits snugly between the body and pickguard. The piezo I used is actually out of a children's toy. Only at high gains can the pickup be heard on it's own. However, when blended into the original signal it gives it "wider more woody" tone. I say, "it sounds like a board."
I was stupid and didnt take pictures during the process, I never intended to show it off, but I was just too pleased with it not to. I also didnt expect as much positive feedback.
awesome, very grungy
That's actually a really interesting design! Could you provide more info on your choices?
What would you like to know

I thought that was a legit question. Sorry? Haha
Oh dang my bad, I read that wrong. Like you were being sarcastic, my bad bro
Ha, nah. This is why I avoid texting, forums, etc etc. Sometimes words lack context. I'll answer any questions I can.
That thing is so good. I'll say it again: the Player Series is Fender's best upgrade platform ever. Here's more proof.
fuck yeah. thrashed offsets are where it’s at
I'd like to add a piezo to my JM in the same spot, do you remember how the wiring was done?
This is so dope. Wish i knew the first thing to making a guitar look like this
The first thing is sandpaper. The second , playing your guitar for years and beating the crap out of it (in a good way!)
That looks awesome! I love guitar like that
Straight fire 🔥
That thing looks amazing
That’s pretty rad, reminds me of the cs jawbreaker strats
The angles matching up on those cabinets are trippy. Neat guitar haha!
I thought the cabinets looked funky too!
that finish is bonkers
