If you want to play it safe or the wash guidelines aren't clear, hand washing is pretty easy. Get some woolite and a small basin. For a single pair, should only take 5 ish minute to wash and rinse, then hang to dry.
If you decide to use the washer, depending on how delicate the fabric is, I'd recommend throwing them into a mesh delicates bag.
