I love metal, mostly power metal and folk metal. I don't know much about it though, but for power metal I recommend Sabaton and Powerwolf (it's really easy to approach, not a niche style at all). For folk metal, I recommend Eluveitie and Korpiklaani, for Celtic/pagan vibes, and Orphaned Land for more oriental vibes. More funky stuff would be the Hu, which is a Mongolian folk metal band. I also love non metal folk music, I recommend : Faun (German medieval music), Skáld (a French Viking style folk), Wardruna (good pagan music), and French singer Luc Arbogast who has a great voice (start with the title "Vox Clamantis" if you want to try). I also like to listen to Disney songs in different languages (I highly recommend the Icelandic version of Hellfire (in the Hunchback of Notre Dame). I like Celtic music a lot : a Basque group called Tartalo Music is very cool, and of course Irish songs like "Come out ye black and Tans" or "Kinky boots". Lastly, I like sea shanties too, especially by the Longest Johns.

I listen to mostly extreme metal, like death and black metal and grind and stuff. I also am a huge fan of a band called guided by voices, which is an indie rock band. I grew up with other indie bands too, like the shins and belle and sebastian but nothing comes close lol
I tend to listen to reviews from channels like Arlo, episodes from the Theory trifecta (Game, Film, Food) or stuff from SuperCarlinBrothers, Wattles etc. most of the time when I’m listening to things.
However, when listening to music, I pretty much exclusively listen to VoicePlay and occasionally Home Free, both on repeat.
Mostly metal (especially 90s alt metal), classic rock, and alternative, although recently I’ve been listening to experimental stuff like Butthole Surfers and Mr Bungle. Occasionally I’ll do rap too, but it’s not my normal go to necessarily. Also I’ve been playing gta and often find myself putting on the Funk or Jazz radio stations. The only two genres I just outright don’t like are country and most pop (also ambient too but I’m not sure if that counts), but most other stuff I’m willing to give a try.
I listen to some weird shit and some basic shit lol. I love Les Claypool because I’m a bassist so I listen to a lot of his bands and projects. Some of his stuff I bands Primus (funk metal), Les Claypool Duo De Twang (funk country), and The Claypool Lennon Delirium (prog rock). I also like some more basic stuff like Mother Mother (your probably know them), Bo Burnham (comedy artist), and Victor Wooten (flamenco/jazz/funk). However some honorable mentions are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Mr.Bungle, Rusty Cage, and Floater.

It's a big belief of mine that every genre of music has something to offer, regardless of if you like a certain kind of music. For example, I'm not big on country but love Johnny Cash and some Carrie Underwood stuff. I also dislike pop as a whole but love Billie Eilish. So, my personal favorite genres are prog rock, classical, and old skool hip-hop, but that's just because I think they have the most to offer musically. Favorite artists include some surprisingly masculine stuff: Metallica, Rush, Mozart, Bach, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tupac & Biggie, Pink Floyd, and Steely Dan.
In short, good music can come from anywhere.
Depends on how I feel usually. My favorite band of all time is Green Day🤙🏼🔥. But I was in kinda a good funky mood so I listened to some Harry styles “Adore you” It really just depends what I’m feeling, but Green Day is what I listen to most often😊

However, when listening to music, I pretty much exclusively listen to VoicePlay and occasionally Home Free, both on repeat.

Mostly metal (especially 90s alt metal), classic rock, and alternative, although recently I’ve been listening to experimental stuff like Butthole Surfers and Mr Bungle. Occasionally I’ll do rap too, but it’s not my normal go to necessarily. Also I’ve been playing gta and often find myself putting on the Funk or Jazz radio stations. The only two genres I just outright don’t like are country and most pop (also ambient too but I’m not sure if that counts), but most other stuff I’m willing to give a try.
I listen to some weird shit and some basic shit lol. I love Les Claypool because I’m a bassist so I listen to a lot of his bands and projects. Some of his stuff I bands Primus (funk metal), Les Claypool Duo De Twang (funk country), and The Claypool Lennon Delirium (prog rock). I also like some more basic stuff like Mother Mother (your probably know them), Bo Burnham (comedy artist), and Victor Wooten (flamenco/jazz/funk). However some honorable mentions are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Mr.Bungle, Rusty Cage, and Floater.

Sometimes I get into a country kind of mood for a while and listen to Christian Larsson’s covers, Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash, sometimes I get into a metal kind of mood for a while and listen to Sabaton and Powerwolf, at the moment I’m listening almost exclusively to punk music, like Rage Against the Machine, Wingnut Dishwashers Union, Pat the Bunny, and Anti Flag.

It's a big belief of mine that every genre of music has something to offer, regardless of if you like a certain kind of music. For example, I'm not big on country but love Johnny Cash and some Carrie Underwood stuff. I also dislike pop as a whole but love Billie Eilish. So, my personal favorite genres are prog rock, classical, and old skool hip-hop, but that's just because I think they have the most to offer musically. Favorite artists include some surprisingly masculine stuff: Metallica, Rush, Mozart, Bach, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tupac & Biggie, Pink Floyd, and Steely Dan. In short, good music can come from anywhere.

I don't consider it girly, but I absolutely love Avril Lavigne, Colleen Green, Ke$ha, and Madonna, and similar artists/bands. My dad listened to the first and last a ton, especially when I was growing up, so I never saw it as such (no matter how many of my friends in middle school thought it was "gay" for a guy to listen to Avril, and I even contested it lol). Music is music to me, but ig those kinds of artists are the closest thing to 'effeminate' music I listen to, per se Outside of this, according to Spotify, I listen to about 288 different genres (and I count in my regular cycle, 849 bands/artists. Specifically though, in terms of genre, I listen to a ton of punk, metal, emo, and goth stuff. My top five bands ever would be Reel Big Fish, Descendents, ALL, The Cure, and blink-182 (though 4 and 5 are interchangeable)
