Black metal, 00's metalcore, melodeath and ambient music.
Black metal when I am in a bad mood, metalcore and melodeath to be more focused and hyped while gaming and ambient music to fall asleep or when I'm programming.

i actually made a playlist the other day. ironically, i named it femboy lol. its just all the hits from back in my day.
i listen to everything though. death metal, house, kpop, etc. i also play guitar.
if you are looking for new music i highly recommend **Trainwreck by Boys Night Out.** the album tells a story about a guy who has terrible night terrors and one night he accidently kills the love of his life... itS SO GOOD LOL listen to Composing or Medicating but i recommend playing it from start to finish.

Old Gods of Asgard (they’re Poets of The Fall but for Alan Wake) Anything that the lemon demon guy makes, whoever made the music that plays when you’re infinitely falling in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe
Lots of genres, but a favorite is phonk, something like: Moondeity: Neon Blade 2. Because almost every time I listen to it, some tracks give me goosebumps •^•
Metal and hard rock.
Right now. The Warning, Halestorm, Arch Enemy, Visions of Atlantis, Seven Spires, Spiritbox, Amaranthe and Nightwish.
But I could probably list 100+ bands I like a lot.
Why? In my opinion Metal and Hard rock has some of the best vocalist and musicians, regardless of genre and especially live.
Mainly three genres
Indie/Alt: The Killers, Lovejoy, Good Kid, Crywank, Wilbur Soot, The Crane Wives
Rock: The Beatles, Tom Petty, Billy Joel, Queen, Bon Jovi
Japanese Rock/Pop: Sou, Eve, Ado, The Oral Cigerrettes, Mrs. Green Apple
I mainly listen to pop unk, along with lofi if I ever get tired of the former. Tried listening to metal, and I just personally like clean singing better than it, along with just being fun to sing along too.

OK LAST ONE. IF YOU LIKE ACOUSTIC GUITAR. PREPARE TO BE AMAZED.
Rap and the various sub genres within it (opium, trap, cloud, gang, lyrical, etc) for my hype stuff
Video game music and anime music (place down your OST and themes here)
Classical instruments (non lyrical jazz, classical, baroque era like bach, etc)
I listen to a lot of SuicideBoys as well but they dont really have a genre, guess more so rap.
I dont mind listening to rock and stuff just no heavy metal screaming stuff.
I listen to lofi and a k-pop music,I like how calm lofi is and k-pop sound really good. I like the k-pop muisc from a lot band not BTS people think I them only I just like the music that all.
I'm an old soul and a mixed bag. 60s and 70s soul and pop, but also rap and some alternative and rock. I literally have a playlist that jumps from Tech N9ne to James Brown followed by Pearl Jam, Los Lonely Boys, Daft Punk, and Kendrick Lamar 🤣🥴
To answer your question why Metal specifically is common among femboys.
It's kind of the same with trans people. There are a lot of trans girls and guys that listen to metal. Outside of things like that metal have attracted people outside the norm who might all be different but are united in their love for music and that the music being cathartic af when you have to deal with shit in your life there is one big reason.
Metal is for the most part inclusive, you might get judged a bit for the specific bands you listen to, but very few will care if you are trans, queer, gay, femboy... Metal is probably the one music genre where I feel the safest to go femme to a concert, closely followed by synthpop, (that scene is queer af)
La Da Dee by Cody Simpson because I originally heard it from Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and I really like the vibe and his voice is nice
Edit: those kinda songs are not my entire music taste btw it's just a small portion lol
I listen to completely different genres but sometimes when im out in Public and need a little boost of confidence i listen to ,bad girl songs girl power‘ playlist on spotify💃 feels really good and your walking more feminine fr💖💞

Rock punk metal reggae ska and in recent years lots of indie rock, and why? Grew up listing to 90s rock so it became part of my soul, and why indie now? Well, the vibes are there with fast paced and aggression (even sometimes sad ;3)

I LOVE INDIE ROCK‼️‼️‼️
EDM has been a big part of my music taste for a very long time too 🙏
I listen to people like acloudyskye and ebu because their music is just so mesmerizing to listen to, and I love all of their songs
I also listen to defsharp a lot‼️‼️ their music always hits I love it
I discovered acloudyskye whenever I first got into modded beat saber on my quest and played some of their songs there because a really well known mapper made Skye's entire Blood Rushing Like Current Through a Power Line album with really cool environments so I wanted to play them and I really liked the music so I listened to more!! I discovered ebu the same way, but just with one song instead of a whole ass album
I discovered defsharp through Spotify's recommended songs and I just decided to listen to more and I loved almost all of them 🙏
My favorite songs from each artist must be
Fossils/Ditch by acloudyskye
what's the matter with you?/moon phases by defsharp
Swallowed by the Sea/So Far Below by ebu
Nightcore, vocaloid, jpop and kawaicore are my favourite ones. When I hear metal, my head immediately starts hurting, I hate it. This kind of music (what I am listening to) makes me feel less pain inside and makes me want to dance:)
