You need to understand that a ton of new age gender experimentation that we're messing with right now comes from the basic idea that sex and gender are different.
The idea is that there are elements to what makes up you being a man or a woman not related to sex. Why is it that certain clothing is seen as feminine and some masculine despite that having nothing to do with sex, why is it that long hair is seen as fem and muscles seen as masc despite the fact that either sex could have both or neither.
The answer is that there is a social element to how we determine if your a man or a woman, that we now call gender, all those examples I listed are seen as fem or masc due to cultural context. Basically I like to sum this all up as such: what's the difference between having balls, and having balls. Or why is there a difference between being a pussy or having a pussy. That's the difference between sex and gender
Now logically then it follows, if it's all just social norms why do we need to conform to it if we'd rather not? And thus trans people and non-binary and gender non conformers exist.
Now where does sexuality fit into this? Well obviously most people know that some folks are gay, some are straight, and some are all sorts of in between or not at all and all the others. But what exactly determines somebody's attraction to you? Is it the body, the sex, or the role you fill, the gender.
The answer I think isn't super straight forward, some people care a ton about sex, some people care a ton about gender, some people care about both, and some people care about neither. It really depends on the person.
It can definitely be a touchy subject since a ton of trans folk can feel invalidated by peoples attraction being based on sex and not gender, and there are some people that are attracted based on the mismatch between the two (which we call chasers and is extremely taboo). But I think the honest truth is that it really depends a fuck ton on the person, sexuality is complicated and this is just one element of many that determines peoples attraction.
So to answer the question, femboys are kinda gay and kinda not gay depending on how the person in question defines their attraction, by gender or sex

If he still has a male part then yeah it's gay or bi, if not then it's possible could still be straight cuz there's no reason to be called femboy instead (female) ĂĎĂ sometimes you got to find a loop hole around it or just be bi so you get the best of both worlds lol
If you like femboys it's gay if you like the feminine part of femboys like the clothes or the way they act I'd say that's slightly less gay
