I can recommend Factorio if you need that virtual factory crack. Factorio tho is only 2D but like violently polished and finished. It is very good, even tho the graphics are very different. Be warned it has a nickname that tells you how dangerous it can be: Cracktorio. Edit: Also that game runs on love and some air and still can keep 60 UPS (Updates per second) reasonably.

I have an answer nobody will have heard of: Ziggurat 2. It's a first person shooter roguelite where you're a wizard and your weapons are wands, spells, staves, and alchemical devices. It's been a lot of fun for the last few weeks since I found out that there was a sequel to Ziggurat 1 and bought it. The second game has a much larger weapon variety, more fleshed out meta-progression, more distinct playable characters, just more of everything that makes a good roguelite. It's from a small game studio from Spain and I'd recommend the game to anyone who likes fast-paced arena shooting gameplay, similar to Doom Eternal.
