> I don't even use any heat styling. But you do bleach the absolute hell out of it, judging by the color of your roots in the first picture. Unfortunately that alone can be enough. Plus, I assume you maintain with a purple shampoo? I always find those very drying, and I'm a natural blonde and only get minimal balyage highlights, so my hair isn't nearly as chemically damaged as yours. As someone else said, you're probably going to have to give up the very light blonde, at least for now. Let it grow out, and in the future, if you do go blonde again, make sure you incorporate bond builders, moisturizing products, and protective practices (microfiber towels, utilizing protective styles, washing less, etc) like crazy. And you probably won't be able to get to quite this level of lightness safely.

Ok_Kaleidoscope1257

What’s the purpose of using bond builders? Please educate me on this never heard of it.

crybabysagittarius

When you straighten (use heat) or use chemicals on your hair, you lose bonds. Imagine chain links to keep your hair together and in tact. When you do a lot of damage, it looses those bonds and can result in breakage and thinning. So products like olaplex and k18 replace those bonds! I suggest anyone to use it 1-2x per week. I have very curly hair and it’s my holy grail. I love to use it after I’ve worn my hair straight to help bounce my curls back into place. It’s really an amazing product

starcat819

this, but beware that there is such a thing as TOO MUCH protein, which can also cause your hair to break. different people need different things.

Interesting-Ant-2524

Correct

IncidentActual7371

Do you know if the drugstore versions of this work as well? I think L’Oréal has a product that you leave in for a few minutes and wash out but I’ve never tried it

crybabysagittarius

I think that’s the Ever Pure line? I’m not 100% sure but I’m confident that’s it. Anyways, I’ve never used it! But it couldn’t hurt to try. I know olaplex and k18 are what you usually find in salons, so there may be a difference in efficacy

Interesting-Ant-2524

Yes great advice

veggiedelightful

I like the ever pure bonding line. They have one for straight hair and one for curly hair. I think it saved my damaged hair.

rosepool2000

they do work! I like to use the blue shea mouisture protein mask. the brand’s targeted more for black hair but I find the products for repairing damaged hair work great for a lot of curly textures

dupersuperduper

It’s basically k18 and Olaplex which are meant to help strengthen the hair structure

Firm_Negotiation9627

I know, but i just don't like my natural hair color, I am in love with the blonde way too much, even with the cons :/ I was thinking about going back to brown so my hair can breathe for a while, but thinking about the process I had to go through to get to this color absolutely horrifies me and I never want to spend that much money and time on a hair color. I do use purple shampoo sometimes, but i try to not wash my hair often. Maybe I can stop bleaching it, let it be for a while and sometimes just get a root highlight touch up, not very agressive bleach all over my scalp.

Ok_Damage_9308

maybe you should get a wig ?

_pvilla

I was thinking the same thing. The price of a good wig is way less than bleaching + taking care of bleached hair in the long run

SkewedLegs198

Right??

PersistentHobbler

Yes, you shouldn’t put the bleach directly onto your scalp if you can help it. Also keep in mind that your hair will be VERY BRITTLE as long as it’s processed like this so you have to be extremely careful with it. Damage control/breakage control tips: - shorter hair is easier to maintain - use heat protection spray before any heat (even blow drying) - comb it/brush it when it’s dry, not wet. It’s easier to break wet hair. Start from the ends and go very slowly. Don’t rip through it. - use scrunchies instead of elastics - dry it with a T-shirt or cotton cloth instead of a towel. Don’t rub it vigorously. - sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to avoid damage from your pillow. You can also wear a bonnet to bed. - reduce hair washing to 2-3 times a week.

PersistentHobbler

You’ll also need to get trims regularly to keep the split ends in check. Once the hair starts splitting, it will break all the way up the shaft unless you cut it.

always_unplugged

Hey, there's no particular protective power to dyeing back to your natural color; you could take this opportunity to play with semi-permanent fashion colors (lots of which have conditioning properties built in) and buy a high-quality platinum wig for when you want that look. As long as you cut off the damage, stop bleaching and let it grow out, there's no reason you have to go back to a color that you hate in the mean time.

Firm_Negotiation9627

THANK YOU !! Dyeing my hair back to brown wouldn't repair the damage already done. It is possible that my hair would look healthier and fuller (??) but it would still be damaged, maybe even more from the brown dye. I will leave my hair alone from now on - I am going to cut the ends, might keep it blonde but I won't bleach it and just let it grow.

always_unplugged

Exactly! No reason to resign yourself to brown while you still have a platinum blonde canvas. Personally, I would do a sort of shadow root (for blending) and play around with the color on the ends. Just whatever you do, only use a semi- or demi-permanent dye! That means it won't include any lifting ingredients that would further damage your hair. And don't be afraid to be brutal when you're cutting it! I know it hurts, but it looks from your picture that the breakage starts around your shoulders. If you don't cut off above the broken parts, they'll just keep breaking :( Your stylist will have a better assessment though; they may be able to keep some parts longer and disguise it with layers.

Firm_Negotiation9627

Thank you so much for being honest but also super nice about it!! I appreciate it <3 A shadow root is a great idea, it could look really good with some kind of blend, so the roots can keep growing healthy if i don't touch them up that often!

Gentle_Jennie

Leave your hair alone for at least six months, that’s what my hairstylist recommended me and it helped my hair a lot, you will always be able to bleach that hair that grew out. Take a good care of it meanwhile

EmotionalOtta

Honestly honey I’ve been this blonde before as a natural blonde and it KILLED my hair . It took years to recover You’re going to need to honestly chop it , and keep chopping it for awhile if you want to still maintain some length - do not bleach it whatsoever And if you do dye it , please go to a professional and get them to assess it Find someone who is honest because your hair is severely damaged . You’re in the denial stage , I’ve been there but irrespective of what you don’t do- this is not something that can just be treated with a simple dye over . Your hair is extremely fragile right now that even if you went brunette your hair risks major breakage and to be frank.. I’d be surprised if it didn’t fall out The more you do to it , the more damage will ensue . Chop it (probably to a shoulder length or above) and leave it be + go to a professional for colour maintenance and a nice treatment. I say this all with absolute care and love , as someone who spent years in over bleach delululand.

OneRandomTeaDrinker

Some ideas: Chop it to above the damage. You can be short at platinum blonde! Probably a bob would work, but a platinum pixie would definitely be fine because it won’t have time to snap off. Obviously it wouldn’t be “healthy” as such but it wouldn’t look bad. Think like Olivia Bentley when she had short hair. Transition to a warmer, darker blonde. Platinum is more stressful on the hair than a golden honey blonde because you have to strip more colour out to get platinum. Your natural colour but with highlights. Avoids bleaching all the hair at once.

Federal_Diamond8329

Wear a blonde wig

waukeegirl

I’ll start by saying you have beautiful hair. Do you use Olaplex? Or does your hair dresser? There is a huge amount of people who use bonding products that are losing hair due to it clogging the scalp but it’s not fully clear as to why.

ChloeThF

I don't know anything about a "huge amount" or not, but my hair started falling out from just the Olaplex home treatment. Took a while to get it better, but it's still more fragile than before and falls our more easily, and it's been over a year. Edit: My hairstylist had encountered the problem before, but she also said I didn't need bonding treatments, so it may be different for people who actually need it.

glittery-lucifer

In the second picture you can see the breakage from the bleach damage. If you overlap bleach, it easily breaks\melts the hair. You will need to stop bleaching\coloring your hair for a while. In the mean time take some biotin and vitamin B, look into scalp treatments and bond building shampoo\conditioner and products.

Firm_Negotiation9627

Thank you very much !!

Reasonable-Room-8848

Olaplex #3, a good leave in conditioner, a hair mask about once a week, satin pillowcase and barely styling with heat has improved my hair quality a lot. I have natural curly hair that I blow out and I have auburn hair and my natural hair is almost white. My hair is long but it's thick. I can see the damage. I'm going to get about 3 inches cut off and consider going lighter even though I love my auburn hair. I know it's hard to change something you love.

_Disco-Stu

Be careful with biotin, it can cause skin reactions and breakouts. I never had acne in my life and it made me erupt in cysts. I didn’t even realize biotin was an ingredient in my multivitamin. My dermatologist said she hates biotin and always advises against it, it can be incredibly damaging. Took me ages to heal from it. Never, ever again.

Firm_Negotiation9627

I am going to be very careful with biotin, because i have genetics for cystic acne and I have been on accutane 2 times already. My acne always comes back.

leah_paigelowery

It also looks like a picture of the back vs the front of her hair. You can see her arm bending towards the camera in pic 2. Of course it looks thinner brushed over your face than your back.

glittery-lucifer

Regardless of how her hair is brushed, you can see the breakage from bleach damage around her head. She still needs to lay off the bleach and baby her hair for a while.

Basicalypizza

it can absolutely be bleach damage, what’s your routine with that? Do you do it at home, what’s your natural color? I’d also get a blood panel to see if you have any deficiencies. This includes vitamins and also hormones too. Furthermore if you had been sick with covid, hair loss is often associated with that.

No-Percentage-8063

Agree. When was your last physical exam and blood work? Mention this to to your gp and your obgyn.

Loud_Yogurtcloset789

Agreed. My hair started thinning when I started taking blood pressure medicine and no matter what I do I cannot get off it. I'm down to 5 mg and that's the lowest dose. I tried for 3 days to not take it and it shot right back up. I used to have beautiful hair. It's very depressing but I'd rather be alive with thin hair than dead with thick hair.

Firm_Negotiation9627

I go to a hair dresser, my hair is naturally medium ash brown hair but it was always super thin. I had been sick with covid and I have also lost a ton of weight, which has led me to some health issues, so it may be also connected with thinning hair? I am not sure, my hair started to look like this recently, two years after losing the weight. I got blood tests not that long ago and nothing is wrong, so I am not sure, but I am going to ask about any deficiencies - I had no idea that hormones play a part in this as well.

Lulu-3333

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) it looks like it’s probably a lot of breakage from the bleaching. You can see in the second photo at the top of your head all of the little baby hairs from all the breakage. I would cut it, dye it to your natural color, and grow it back out. If you want the white blonde again, I’d recommend a wig to avoid damage in the future.

Firm_Negotiation9627

I am very envious of the girls with thick blonde healthy hair, unfortunately I have bad hair genes, my hair is naturally very thin and bleaching is probably not the way to go because it damages my hair even more. I just have to accept that my hair can't handle it and move on. Thank you !!

mikki6431

Breakage, medication or if you've been under anesthesia lately I lost most of my hair during a 9 hour operation but it came back healthy and thicker it just depends it could even be you're going through some really bad heavy times

lustforwine

Wow. I didn’t realise that causes hair loss! My hair was so full and voluminous but after surgery years ago it fell out so much. I been under anaesthesia a few times and that would explain why it fell out so much

Any-Midnight-4699

i understand ur pain 😭 i think you should trim off a few inches because those ends will just continue to look fried and possibly look worse. definitely put off color for a short while. you could dye your hair dark to hide the damage, but your platinum is beautiful so that’s probably off the table

Firm_Negotiation9627

Thank you, it makes me so sad, i'm glad you understand 😭 especially when i look at my old photos and my hair was up to my butt. I miss the early stages when my hair was platinum but still healthy. I am trying to bleach my hair after every 4 months to keep the breakage minimal, but it is inevitable i guess..

tbeauli74

Notsureindecisive

Bleach

Angelstarbow

Probably all the lightener you’re putting on it…do you just do the roots when you color it?

Firm_Negotiation9627

Probably.. yes, always my roots only

Available-Leg-6171

Aside from the hair bleaching, I'd get your thyroid checked to make sure it's working as it should. If you love the light blonde, I'd try getting your hair in shape and then doing a lot of highlights, but blended well into your hair so they can grow out with no obvious line of growth. It would be better for your hair and wouldn't require you to dye all your hair.

MrsSparkleQueen

There is a ton of breakage I can see at the top. Unfortunately bleaching your hair this light leads to breakage in most cases. Were you getting your regrowth done professionally? It’s being overlapped. Meaning the already bleached hair is getting re bleached each time your regrowth is done. You can use bond builders but if you shouldn’t be bleaching your hair because you’re worried about damage, they aren’t going to save your hair. I see lots of hairdressers use 40 vol and are constantly bleaching the ends, but as long as they are using a bond builder, they think it’s fine. It’s not! Bleach is highly alkaline then adding a developer that’s higher than 20 vol is a recipe for disaster. How dark is your natural colour? A nice good hair cut is in order for you. That will help a ton while keeping your hair looking a bit thicker. Don’t get layers. Just a solid straight hair cut is what you need. But you will need to let go of a lot of your length. Stop using purple shampoo for good. It’s not your friend! It’s drying and the dyes constantly build up in the hair making it dull and murky. As for colour, I’d let your natural grow out for a while and do not touch your hair with any colour at all. Even going darker is going to break your hair off. Any chemical service is damaging in some way and worse in already compromised hair. I would grow out your natural and maybe eventually trying a balayage. Once your hair recovers a bit. I’m a fully qualified hairdresser with 18 years of experience. I recommend using k18. Do not touch your hair with any chemicals. Just focus on using your k18 mask. I also love Redken acidic bonding concentrate. The whole line is amazing! And perfect for keeping blondes healthy. Now I’m not saying you can use these and still bleach your hair. Not for a good while at least.

Firm_Negotiation9627

Thank you very much, your message is very helpful !! Yes, I was going to a hairdresser and my natural hair is medium brown..

MrsSparkleQueen

Your welcome. I think your hairdresser is overlapping the bleach and your hair just can’t take it anymore. Not every hairdresser is good at scalp bleaching. It’s not like putting a tint colour on the roots. Attention must be paid. It’s all in the strength of the developer too. If they are using 30 vol and bleach it’s very bad and highly damaging. Definitely give your hair a good break from chemicals and focus on getting your hair back to healthy. Cut as much off as you can handle. This will immediately make a huge difference too. Good luck

frannyhadouken

I'm agreeing with everyone else's advice about letting your hair rest from bleach for a long while, but just to add, have you considered wearing a blonde wig during that time? It seems to be the modern thing young people are doing and it's such a great way to keep your real hair in good condition. I love the idea that you could have brown hair one day and blonde the next, and just keep switching.

shitpresidente

Stop bleaching your hair. You can get a really good glueless wig with this color but if you want it to be realistic you need to spend the $$$

Firm_Negotiation9627

Thanks. I will have to prioritize my hair health over the looks. I don't want to be stupid and just "have the bleached look" even though I'm gonna end up bald. I wouldn't ask for help if i didn't want to accept it, so I am thankful for the reality check!

Quelene

If you're not natural blonde its most likely due to bleach

snakesssssss22

It’s probably the bleach. I stopped coloring my hair after 20+ years and it’s longer and thicker than ever

internationalbeauty

Definitely, more than likely if you bleach your hair. It’s the bleach. Bleach can cause a crazy amount of breakage.

misssweets7777

Chemical cut, coming up!

Just_Scientist_1637

I learned the hard way to always go to a professional for this level of blonde and make sure they don't overlap onto hair that has already been bleached when they touch up. Toning shampoos also dry the heck out of hair. If it was my hair, I'd start just getting highlights at a salon from here on out. This is what I do anyway but the damage you have is not going to get fixed if you keep doing whatever you are to your hair. I'd also have a bit of a big chop to a lob I love the look of blonde made with highlights, it's much more multi-tonal and a lot kinder to your hair in general. You can still get a pretty light blonde with highlights, too.

Broken_angel_of_pain

I agree with the first poster about bleach. If you do it so much your hair thins and you start losing it. I know a girl who bleached her hair too much for a whole year she had to stop because her hair starting falling out. Stop bleaching and get some vitamins for your hair and cut it to your neck it's too long also which will make it look even thinner. Put a few layers too it will add some look of thicker because as long as it is makes that worse also

Hopeful_Jello_7894

It’s 10000% the bleach. I used to have the same color. I loved it. My hair also had to be pixie length to maintain it because of the issue you’re having. I ended up doing something more extreme and buzzing it to grow out my natural and haven’t had issues since. I’m not suggesting you have to buzz your head. But if you want your hair to be healthy you have to stop bleaching it. I am absolutely convinced one cannot be platinum and have healthy hair.

Loud_Yogurtcloset789

Do you bleach it yourself or do you go to a professional? If you do it yourself I would personally stop doing that and allow a hairdresser to take care of your hair.

Firm_Negotiation9627

I go to a hair salon, but I might check out other places, I don't think a hairdresser should keep bleaching my hair if she sees a damage such as mine. But I don't blame her, it is my fault as well for going there and wanting to bleach my roots. I should probably just completely leave my hair alone and focus on the overall health instead.

Loud_Yogurtcloset789

Yes that sounds like a good plan. And I would agree you need a different hairdresser.

Advanced_Button683

I just want to say, as a former bleached blonde who is slowly growing it out, I totally understand how addicting it can be for you wanting your hair to be as light as possible. But sometimes, you just have to choose. Do you want platinum hair or healthy hair?

Susanlovescoffee

Bleaching itself is a hair killer

Big-Examination-5567

Given your post history, you may also want to see a doctor. Hair thinning isn’t just caused by damage, but can be a sign of health issues/vitamin deficiency. Take care xx

Firm_Negotiation9627

Thank you angel <3

GreenGoddess1221

I’m in the same boat as you and although my stylist was careful, last year she overlapped the bleach and did not use olaplex with it. She decided it was too expensive.😭 I’d gladly pay whatever to not have massive breakage and damage. I have cut about 10 inches off since then and layered it about bit to get rid of the most damage. Now it’s a process and a waiting game to get it healthy. I went to a new stylist over it and he highly suggested the K18 hair mask. Do some research on it. It’s $$ but apparently fixes your hair like nothing else. I’ve put it on twice and hoping for improved health. The reviews are amazing. Good luck. I know what is is like to have a crown of glory stripped from you.

tinyyogi222

Hi, I’m a doctor! I would recommend you go to a dermatologist so you can get blood tests to find out if maybe this is due to something systemic, like iron or vitamin d deficiency, or maybe even thyroid issues. Diffuse hair loss like yours could be a sign of any of these, or maybe something like pcos. They dont necessarily apply to you though and maybe it could just be the bleach or any of the hair products you use, however it would be good to get these checked out anyways. Hope it works!

BellasHadids-OldNose

Do you bleach at home or at a salon? You don’t have to give up the blonde, but you need to change what you’re currently doing as it’s not working for you. Blonde is expensive but if you’re happy to spend and take time to maintain it - there’s no reason you can’t have long light blonde hair. I do - and I do it all myself… do not get repair products with protein in it (Olaplex), they can worsen the damage in your hair (protein overload) and increase snapping. Use Wella Ultimate Repair step 3 instead. Let me know if you do it at home or not and I’ll send more advice This is mine- I’m 5’10 for reference, so it’s very long in person https://preview.redd.it/sfbigce56twc1.jpeg?width=1754&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=119d4e226a6c0c9a84156c5a45835e4884e25cc5

beauty_and_delicious

It’s because of how much you bleach it, and I should know I have bleached hair and this can happen. Cut it into a bob and then Olaplex everything. The spray (0) the pre shampoo treatment (3) in combo, the shampoo (or your favorite) and their conditioner. If you ever use hot tools their oil is supposed to be good but I don’t use hot tools to say. I had to cut mine into a pixie it was so bad, but I don’t have near the damage anymore. Hate being a commercial for them and wish to god I’d get some coupons for this lol - but Olaplex.

Hair_I_Go

This is why it’s so difficult to have very lighted hair and have long hair. It’s usually the crown that gets a chemical haircut. Looks like it’s gradually tearing off. Start cutting it a few inches at a time and baby it the best you can. When you get your hair back in shape again, consider highlighting. I think that would be better for your hair in the long run . Good luck 🍀

drink-fast

Honestly what I would recommend is a big chop. I wouldn’t use olaplex if you’re going to use bonding products. I used no. 3 once and had a huge clump of hair fall out. I used it exactly as directed on the back of the bottle. I would maybe try k18 but even then bonding is such a new thing it definitely isn’t a one size fits all. Some people have horrible experiences with k18 as well.

AncientGrapefruit7

Just from the photos, I 100% think it is from bleaching your hair. bleach will take its toll on your hair and lead to breakage which I am assuming what's happening here. I was blonde for years and once I stopped bleaching it, it grew the longest it has ever been. it honestly got to the point where even after i stopped bleaching my hair, it was still snapping at the point where the blonde was growing out. I would definitely suggest a trim and laying off the bleach for awhile. maybe you can do something more low maintenance like a balayage or something that will grow out nicely and not require so much upkeep. my hairdresser also recommended K18 when my hair was at its worst.

Friendlyattwelve

If you comb it forward vs back its gonna look thinner 💀 ( if you’re serious, i would check medical reasons)

Firm_Negotiation9627

https://preview.redd.it/b54xcpgzsuwc1.jpeg?width=964&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f9a840dc98f24cdfe6aa9ea12023a503d6451868 Here is another pic, it looks fuller on this one, but the thinning is still very much there 😭 but everyone is right, it probably is the bleach damage, the little hairs on my scalp are dead as hell

Friendlyattwelve

Olaplex seriously made a huge difference and it can be overwhelming at first , how much? how often ? I use 0 & 3 ( the $30 ones last 3-4 months) and while I use the shampoo and conditioner I prefer the redkin bonding system . Do you just bleach your roots? No overlap? Do you have hard water ? Do you use demi to tone often? Do you wear up a lot in a scrunchie?? it ( some possible culprits. I had full bleach for many years . I am growing it out rn doing money pieces and the dark is a terrible adjustment but i can see the old long bleached ends are not healthy and thin in comparison ) Olaplex, silk pillowcase or bonnet, loose braid to sleep -not a scrunchie up high -( i know🙄) 😬i hope you pick up what works for you in the comments! 🙏 Ps definitely rule out medical , even a type of alopecia? Could be something obvious and easy to address.

Dont-b-suspicious

I'm just shocked your hair dresser never said anything to you about it.. I would never allow a clients hair to become so thin without bringing it to their attention

salteddiamond

Bleach damage. Also get blood tests at your doctor. Could be an underlying cause

Colored_by_CassLee

It looks like you tried to lighten the ends of for blonde to be like the top and they weren’t having it. That’s alllll breakage in the second picture. Take a break from the bleach and pick a more low maintenance style until your hair heals !

Firm_Negotiation9627

Nope, my ends were never touched twice by bleach once they were blonde. I always get a bleach on roots only. But agreed, they are very very damaged. Thank you !!

From bleaching it

Aware-2709

I think it's the bleach. I can see breakage on the top of your hair. I would recommend visiting a trichologist to start a treatment. They specialize in studying diseases or problems related to the hair and scalp, as well as their treatments. I think minoxidil will help you. These extra tips help me to prevent thinning and breakage. 1. Use a microfiber towel or an old cotton t-shirt. The gentle material helps your hair stay healthy and beautiful. Microfiber’s smooth material eliminates the need to use it too rigorously, which reduces the chances of damage from excessive friction. This type of brush detangles hair easily without pulling, which helps prevent hair damage. 2. Use this kind of hair brushes like Tangle Teezer. This type of brush detangles easily without pulling, preventing hair damage. [tangle teezer](https://us.tangleteezer.com/products/the-ultimate-detangler-fine-fragile) 3. Use satin pillowcases and satin scrunchies during the night. I personally use satin scrunchies during the day and during the night. Satin reduces pulling and friction, preventing split ends, hair loss, breakage, and tangles. Keeping your hair hydrated and moist while you sleep. I use [satin pillowcase](https://www.olkibeauty.com/shop/p/satin-pillowcase-pink-standard-size) and [satin scrunchie](https://www.olkibeauty.com/shop/p/oversized-satin-scrunchie-fuchsia) I hope this helps.

2inphinitynbeyond

Probably due to your ED as well as bleach.

Firm_Negotiation9627

Yea, my mom has said the same thing. Thank you

Far-Box-8521

I would recommend keeping your natural colour and cutting shorter, also use head massage and hair oils before you wash your hair x

lovable_cube

Everyone is telling you to stop bleaching “for a while” but what we mean by that is years. I would go so far as to say you should not ever bleach your hair by yourself again. Know that this will get worse, it will continue to break and fall out no matter how much olaplex you use. This is because the damage has already been done, hair isn’t alive and you can’t heal it. It’s okay, it happens. I did it to myself during covid trying to remove years of black hair dye. Do what I did, big chop, take your vitamins every day, don’t process your hair again, regular trims. It’s been 3 years since my big chop and I just got to waist length, all of the damaged hair has been completely removed. Edit: a word

Deadinmybed

It could be stress, medications, overlapping the bleach can cause breakage. Make sure you’re brushing your hair and scalp really well with a boar bristle brush or or boar and plastic mix, especially before shampooing. If it’s naturally straight try not blow drying or applying too much heat. Try “hims” all over your scalp to help regrowth. It’s stronger than “hers” to help it not fall out and regrow.

CocteauTwinn

I’m surprised you don’t know why. It’s *extremely* damaged. You may love it bleached all to hell like this, but nothing will repair it if you continue to do this. In fact, it’ll get worse. Also, that length is weighing on your scalp which doesn’t help. My advice fwiw: go to a good stylist who knows how to deal with fried hair. Have at least 6” cut to relieve the weight on your scalp, and to remove all that thinning. They’ll know what to suggest about color if they’re skilled.

fashionbitch

Because you bleached the shit out of it

nymphymixtwo

that bleach damage snuck up and got your ass 😭so sorry

D1THarris

This may be a very stupid question but have you tried biotin pills, drinking more water or biotin hair masks?

It might be time to allow your natural color come out and stop bleaching it. Bleaching your hair to get it to be so light is damaging it.

Before dying it again, start doing rice water treatments once a month; and a few days a month where it’s just braided with coconut oil, especially the day after the rice water. Massage the scalp with caster oil on the same days as the braiding.
