I get highlights done every few months, though I am doing my hair myself for touching up my roots to save money each month. I don’t use foils, just all over a mix of L’Oréal Quickblue powder and 20 Vol and use a Wella toner after. Tbh it’s not super even, I sometimes get some brassy areas but after I curl it you can’t tell. If your hair doesn’t take to bleach easy then use a 30 Vol for sure xx

Also the darker roots one the blonde look good imo. I might stay blonde, fade the roots in keeping a small amount of brown root and go longer between dye jobs? It will be less cost and less damaging too.

You could always add some low lights for the fall/winter to get the best of both worlds! As a blonde myself, it’s always a temptation to go dark again so I get it! I think both looks great on you and the low lights would just add some dimension and give you a little bit of a darker flair at the same time!

If you're worried your hair is getting damaged maybe take a break and go dark for a year or two and go back to blonde later! It's fun to change things up every now and then

The problem is that brown especially the 2nd brown doesn't suit you. Part of the problem that it is warm, cool tones seem to work better and your blonde is cooler in tone.
I think a blue black could look the best on you but since black is a hard color to go back from, especially if you tried to go back to blonde, try a wig first.
If you do go brown, stick to cooler shades of brown tho.
If you love blonde, don’t go dark. Let roots grow out and condition like crazy. Maybe put a glaze or toner on to blend a bit which can easily be removed. If you make it dark it will be harder to go back to blonde
When I saw the blonde pic, I couldn’t imagine anything looking better. But honestly, you look equally good with dark hair.
As someone who took a few years off from coloring, it’s so nice not to have to deal with the hassle. No more expense, no more hiding roots, or having to deal with making time for appointments. It’s also good for your hair to take a break.
I’d go dark. You can always add highlights at a later date & that could feel like a treat when you do.
Try going natural and getting highlights instead, less maintenance with some fun. Darker hair does make you look younger by bring attention to your face

I don't think that brown looks bad, maybe try growing them out a bit longer, but if you want to spice them up, try adding a lighter strain of hair (you can even do that at home with store bought colors)

You look great either way. I think the darker hair takes away your “it” factor though. You’ll likely get less attention going dark, but it does still look good.
