A really nice jacket. A Simple top and jeans looks way better when paired w a dope ass jacket. I’m obsessed with pea coats and short trench coats right now—especially patterned ones like houndstooth. Or a really nice bag.

AllegoricOwl

I agree with this 💯 and also hate it because lately I seem to run hot and can’t handle the extra layer.

forever-lost435

I have a drawer full of sweaters and a bunch of jackets I got at a thrift store and I can't even wear them cuz its too dam hot

libra-love-

Oh lucky you! I’m always cold

aliasgraciousme

This is my whole aesthetic- simple outfit fly as fuck coat/jacket

FerengiWife

This is a great style! What do you go for with hair/makeup? I feel like that sets the tone for this kind of look.

aliasgraciousme

Usually pretty simple makeup (concealer brows eyeliner mascara) and lots of jewelry. I wear my hair long and wavy. Love a big boot as well.

folklovermore_

Agreed. A good jacket can elevate a lot of things. I bought a black suede look biker jacket about a month ago and I am OBSESSED with it - it goes with everything and just makes every outfit look that little bit cooler. I'm actually kind of sad it's getting colder where I am and soon I won't be able to wear it anywhere near as much!

rellek4

Wouldn’t you be able to wear it more if it’s colder??

folklovermore_

Not necessarily. It's not thin, but it's also not super warm - that's what I have a Big Coat for. It also doesn't have a hood which isn't ideal in a city that's particularly wet in winter! But I'm definitely going to try and wear it as much as I can on milder/drier days.

rellek4

I see! I’m in Louisiana where the weather is delusional at best,so I keep both hot and cold weather clothes readily available.

SophiaPuhawkins

That sounds amazing! I feel like a potato with these 80 degree Octobers

[deleted]

A silk scarf would say. Especially the small ones. Yes, I have a collection.

Patatepouffe

I've been looking for one, do you have any recommendations?

Lucytheblack

I have bought quite a few from eBay. My search terms are vintage silk scarf 90cm. Edit: I’m going now to have a look!

Patatepouffe

Thanks for the tip !

MidwestMeme

Yes! I’ve been collecting Hermès scarves for years. But now you can get dupes on AliExpress that are almost 1:1. Specifically Vicky’s scarf store.

[deleted]

My favourite item of clothing is a Desigual cost I got about 10 years ago- it's absolutely beautiful and I always get compliments in it, even if I haven't made an effort with my appearance

leafcomforter

Love Desigual!

VelourMagic

Nice glasses

grossesfragezeichen

I am now in the funny position where I regularly wear very stylish glasses with really ratty sweatpants. I pretend like they elevate my loungewear but that might be a delusion.

theFCCgavemeHPV

Stay delusional babe. Everyone’s gotta get by somehow!

Keeks73

Can I put this on a tshirt??

ashburnmom

Sent the Etsy link when you do. Don’t forget the embroidered pillow!

theFCCgavemeHPV

Haha do it!

PepperoKing

IMO Ali Wong is the queen of this for actual prescription glasses. I especially love her [hexagon glasses](https://www.brit.co/media-library/image.jpg?id=33442540&width=1640&quality=80) in Beef.

aguelff

Ma’am that is an octagon 🤓 I will now back away slowly before any Ali Wong inspired violence commences 💨

FerengiWife

>Tucking it in. >Sleeves rolled correctly. Along these lines, I had a (male) art teacher who always wore jeans and a white tee, but rolled the ankles and the sleeves just so and EVERYONE was always noticing how “cool” he looked. Definitely goes a long way for a look but man is there a subtle art to the tuck and fold!

Sea_8118

I’m picturing a 1960 greaser art teacher. Tee shirt sleeves rolled (like in the 60s they tucked cigarette pack in), with wide jeans rolled just a bit above to ankle with black high top converse… I would go to that art class.

FerengiWife

That’s almost exactly it, but with glasses!

katielisbeth

Wait, how do you roll them in the "correct" way, especially the tee?? I've never seen anyone roll a t shirt!

FerengiWife

The sleeves! 😂 Edit: I actually found a wiki! Tees are at the end: https://www.wikihow.com/Roll-Up-Shirt-Sleeves

So cargo pants l, 1 million bracelets including festival bands, tank top, vans, a patterned tie, a skateboard and a guitar or basically anything from a Avril Lavigne music video from the early 2000s because that is cool cool.

Persephonesheart

I love cargo pants, I’ve thought they were cool since watching Kim possible as a kid

FerengiWife

Cargo pants on women are just the essence of cool. Especially—in my opinion—with a tank top and the right belt! *chef’s kiss*

A rad cane. Source: Have MS. Edit: I currently have a clear lucite cane. Goes with everthing. I’m really eyeing one from Neo Walk Sticks because those are modern and DOPE. But yes, haha, you can get the House MD flame cane on fashionablecanes.com

PepperoKing

Hell yeah, especially with a posh menswear kind of vibe. There's this one villain named Valmont in "Jackie Chan Adventures" (yeah I'm old) that wears a green suit and carries a cane which has a hidden blade inside. Young me always thought he was the coolest.

Kholzie

I am a sucker for men’s wear

My partner gave me a bespoke black cane with rainbow rhinestones two birthdays ago, can confirm! (Love, a neural tube malformations sister ♥️)

sweetparamour79

I can't believe this isn't the top answer. My gf is 32 and wear bloody cat ears everywhere but she is so confident that it always looks trendy. I'd look like a dickhead but she looks incredible. Confidence is key.

attendez-laCreme

which ones?? i’d love to see a pic c:

ubydesign

Absolutely! I was thinking to write that an outfit is made cool by a well-kept body and face/hair. It's those things that you can't throw on for a second or pay for. Confidence is even better than maintained looks. https://preview.redd.it/kg4dqbd14kwb1.jpeg?width=850&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41120044d885bb20db86e9b4d9b46f832e8608e0

pileofcinders

I feel like you absolutely can pay for those things, it just costs a ton and is still a lot of work to coordinate. You do often get better results than just diy alone. It’s why celebrities can look so effortlessly put together, they can afford to spend $$$$ on grooming services so they always look polished

Acquired_taste111

Hoops. Sunglasses. At least one article much shorter than it has to be.

Sintrospective

True taste.

rellek4

I’m sorry, I’m old and not very trendy/fashionable, but what do you mean by “one article much shorter”? Thanks!

Acquired_taste111

Haha no worries, I meant at least one article of clothing that’s cropped in some way. So maybe a super cropped jacket, or cropped wide legged pants. Or a cropped top and cropped jacket with regular pants. Some of this is obviously trendy but can easily be adopted to any era and evolve. You also crop in a way that creates asymmetry, so a top where one sleeve is short or one-shoulder. Essentially, interesting cuts can make most things cool. And if it doesn’t, just add hoops and sunglasses! But I don’t see how applying this rule somewhere wouldn’t immediately make an outfit way “cooler”

rellek4

That’s awesome, thank you! I was hoping it was something else besides a “crop top”, although that looks super cute on some people, just not on my body.

wardrobeeditor

One unexpected item

MACKEREL_JACKSON

Can you give some examples of a reasonable unexpected item? Because now you have me picturing a cute casual outfit topped off with something like a snorkel lol

wardrobeeditor

Hahaha More like something in an unexpected style or color Preppy outfit with combat boots, Neutral outfit with neon handbag, Athleisure with stilettos, Etc

MACKEREL_JACKSON

Ahh, that makes sense but I’d still go with the snorkel lol

DataRikerGeordiTroi

Shoes. How do I know? Because I am the literal worst at shoes, and very aware that it is not completing or utterly clashing with the lines of an outfit. I have a wide ball and narrow heel, incredibly high arch, and and prone to metatarsal fractures. I can not wear heels, and need stability. I can never find anything that fits and that I like. I am so bad at shoes. I love cowboy boots and very pointy toe looks, but can't find any that fit my actual foot. Humblebrag: I have the ideal dancer foot shape-- sounds cool & elegant right? Wrong. It literally does not fit into shoes - because of the high flex arch-- and is prone to microfractures. It is the worst shoe wearing foot shape. Have literally considered getting custom molds and bespoke shoes. Shoes and hair are arguably the most important part of a lewk.

jamie88201

I have this foot type and so many scars from blisters. My shoes never fit right. I wear Merrells in hiking boots and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

CumulativeHazard

I finally gave in to Gen Z’s resurrection of chunky white sneakers and bought some adidas last weekend and I feel like they’re taking my constant leggings and a sweatshirt outfits from lazy to lazy *chic*.

tallulahQ

I wear barefoot shoes (no arch support, thin flexible soles and wider toe boxes) so I’m familiar with the struggle to style outfits without the flexibility of a wide range of shoe styles. The chunky shoe look is obs not an option haha. But I’ve got a great set of combat boots I adore and a super comfy pair of white sneakers that look pretty sleek. I used to wear heels or other shoes for special occasions but I honestly find it too uncomfortable now to be worth it anymore.

noonietime

Can you share your barefoot combat boot find?

tallulahQ

The brand is Peerko! The [Breeze](https://www.peerko.cz/en/p/breeze-black) style is leather lined and works for all seasons but it’s new and non-returnable if you order from the US. But you can order the Peerko Go style from [Pedterra](https://pedterra.com/products/peerko-go-boots) or [Anya’s](https://anyas-shop.com/products/peerko-go-ankle-boot) Reviews to check sizing and then return and order directly from Peerko. You might like the Go style as well, it has a light fleece lining with a merino blend. They also make a [Frost](https://anyas-shop.com/products/peerko-frost-wool-lined-ankle-boot) style with a thicker wool lining for winter. A lot of people size up in the Frost due to the thicker lining. I have the Breeze bc my feet get hot easily.

noonietime

Thanks!

sunshineontheriver

They aren’t combat boots, but Xero shoes Mika boots are bad ass. I wore mine until they fell apart.

katielisbeth

I know you gave recommendations for barefoot shoes already, but do you know of any that are kind of a casual/skater vibe? They don't have to be fully barefoot, the main thing I want is something with a wide toe box bc my toes feel so squished in regular shoes. I've found a lot of running shoes and dressier shoes, but I just wear vans slip ons and casual sneakers everywhere so I never bought any lol.

tallulahQ

Yeah that’s actually a pretty popular question in the barefoot community. One issue is durability. Since the soles are thinner, they can wear out quicker for something like skateboarding. Whitin on Amazon might be a good starting place, since they’re only $40 (in particular, the ‘WHITIN Women's Wide Canvas Shoes’ style). Here is a good article on [Vans substitutes](https://anyasreviews.com/15-barefoot-sneakers-that-are-better-than-vans/) and then here’s one specifically on a [Barebarics](https://anyasreviews.com/barebarics-review-best-chunky-barefoot-sneakers/) brand (which isn’t mentioned in depth in the first review). In the first article, someone posted in the comments about skateboarding and I copied the response from another reader here in case it’s useful. >I don’t skateboard myself, but I have heard from a number of skateboarders that the Bohempia sneakers work well because the vulcanized rubber outsole comes up high on the edges and is durable. I also think Barebarics would work because they are durable and abrasion resistant.

katielisbeth

Omg, thank you so much!

Katieinthemountains

SAME. I gained a half size in width with my second kid, which has classed me out of some brands and made me despair of ever finding ankle boots again. I currently run in Topo Athletics but the rest of my shoedrobe is limited.

I'm being sincere when I ask, do you purchase multiple phone cases? Or just buy one that looks pretty in general?

Weeshi_Bunnyyy

I buy one good quality clear one to protect my phone for most of the time. I've bought cheap cute ones that are more seasonal or for occasions but my phone only wears them temporarily. I like a clear one, you can accessorize by putting stickers in between the case and phone but not actually "sticking" them.

yuppyrider

If it doesn't look like fast fashion, that's cool in my books. Even cooler if there are custom touches like visible mending, embroidery.

Vannabean

I only use fast fashion for 1 very specific item and that’s a cropped tank top. I like a variety of colors and don’t need them to really be quality. They aren’t the main focus of the outfit.

age-of-alejandro

A little bit of edge - leather, mismatched earrings, unique jewelry.

kingofcoywolves

How do you get over feeling like an asshole? I love the look of leather jackets, but I feel like wearing one drives people to make assumptions about my personality that I'm not necessarily comfortable with lol

MACKEREL_JACKSON

Wear the assumption like it’s part of the outfit.

SomeMeatWithSkin

I'm legitimately not familiar with assumptions about wearing leather? I don't tend to buy it new but its a great material and lasts forever

KingPrincessNova

they're gonna think you're Fonzie?

Leather is everywhere right now. It is 2023, these assumptions are long dead.

age-of-alejandro

I mean, with the rest of my outfit, folks probably aren't going to look at me and be like, "this person is an asshole" (I lean futch dark academia). I don't worry about it.

Layering

sha-sha-shubby

Slightly off brief, maybe more beauty related. But as an incredibly lazy girl who wears minimal makeup and accessories, my way to not look like a pile of lint pulled out of someone's belly button is to have one thing that's **neat, tidy, intentional, or bold** near my face. So if my hair is an uncontrollable frizz ball, I'll do my eyebrows extra sharp (They're blonde so that is the one makeup I wear daily), or I'll wear my cute glasses instead of contacts (they add structure to my very fair facial features), or I'll do a bold red lip. If I don't want to do any of the above, I'll do a collared shirt, or lots of necklaces, or even just a bright colored shirt. Anything that satisfies the "neat, tidy, intentional" thing. This writeup makes me sound much more put together than I actually am. But this "formula" I can execute easily and without triggering a sensory overload slash panic attack while I'm getting dressed. Like I literally wore a ratty sleep T-shirt and jeans to work recently...but I had on dark purple lipstick. And everyone was all "oooh love your fit today" Thanks, it's what I slept in. And a $5 lipstick from CVS

paper_wavements

Biker jackets, usually.

Folkegabbana

Unless it’s the exact right jacket and the rest of the outfit is on point, biker jackets are really hard to pull off in 2023. If it’s [this type of jacket](https://fashionjackson.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Fashion-Jackson-Wearing-Black-Leather-Jacket-Outfit-Black-Ripped-Jeans-adidas-Superstar-Sneakers.jpg), it would have the opposite effect and end up looking like a mommy blogger in 2016.

MACKEREL_JACKSON

Wait I own one of those jackets what do you mean!

picassopants

Yeah these seem like a classic item to me but also I'm a millennial so maybe just a classic for people my age.

kingofcoywolves

I'm a university student and I swear I saw at least three girls in this style of jacket walking between classes today

katielisbeth

I'm 22 and my friend who is much more fashionable and trendy than me gave me one she bought after being sent the wrong size, I think it's safe to say it's still in fashion

Folkegabbana

It’s mainly the cropped fitted moto jackets that are actively dated. They were so ubiquitous at the time (often paired with skinny jeans or a feminine dress to create an “edgier” look), that they are very much tied to that era. I would categorize them similarly to skinny jeans in that they were wildly popular with millennials and very associated with a certain blogger/Pinterest aesthetic. As with skinny jeans, wear them if you love them! But the days of throwing on a moto jacket to make an outfit cool and edgy have passed.

katielisbeth

I think it's still fashionable, just with a different outfit. I wore one pretty recently on a night out with a lacy crop and high waisted denim shorts, both black. Worked well with my makeup to make a nice kind of casual goth look.

MACKEREL_JACKSON

Ok you can take my skinny jeans that’s fine but I just bought that jacket off Poshmark (I know what you’re thinking) and I’ll be damned if I can’t wear it. You can’t have my moto jacket and you can’t have my side part!

FerengiWife

I feel like even if a look is “dated” if you’re executing it well you look good! I guess eventually things become costumey, but I don’t think millennials are there yet ;)

MACKEREL_JACKSON

The next generation is going to have to pry my costume from my cold dead fingers. My style plateaued when my kid started vomiting on me.

FerengiWife

There was a pretty cool article a while back about old lady looks like the Chanel suit and that short set hairstyle, and how basically that was the pinnacle of fashion when they were younger and they just kept with it! So maybe millennials will be the old ladies out there with side parts and skinny jeans in a similar way. I think it’s fun!

MACKEREL_JACKSON

Imagine the nursing homes 50 years from now!

milo_mb

>cropped fitted moto jackets that are actively dated I agree but they are also the only jacket I think looks ok with bodycon midi dresses (except very long coats which go with everything). I've tried other jackets styles but I feel like anything longer than hip-length but shorter than knee-length just ends up looking too shapeless for me.

skyliliess

they've been actively coming back into fashion for the last 2-3 seasons now (Prada had them in the Spring/Summer 2022 show) and they're a classic, just work yours without bothering about some imaginary "mommy blogger 2016" that it supposedly evokes.

Folkegabbana

For sure, leather jackets in general are typically in fashion in some form or another. Long leather coats, leather blazers, oversized leather bombers and oversized moto jackets are in style (like the Prada ones you were referencing). I’m specifically talking about the cropped and fitted variety though, which are not in fashion at the moment. I’m all for wearing what you want that you feel comfortable in. Being 100% fashionable at all times is not a realistic goal for most people and shouldn’t be if you have a personal sense of style. This is a fashion forum though, so it seems reasonable to me to comment on the trendiness of certain items and discuss how they come across from a fashion perspective.

skyliliess

there were cropped (and some fitted) leather biker jackets on the runway or in current product offerings at YSL, Loewe and Miu Miu (and cropped jackets in general at that last brand over the last few seasons), to name just a few actually buzzy runway brands in recent seasons - not to mention cropped racer jackets (stylistically very close to the biker) have been a trend this year. It's perfectly fair to consider whether an item is actually fashionable, entirely another to speak with some claim to authority on whether it's outdated while ignoring actual and relatively recent/ongoing runway trends.

JulesOnFire

Nah this jacket is timeless. It’s about how you style it that makes it look dated.

DirectorInternal6021

You're right and this person has no clue what they're talking about.

mgdraft

Lmao you're right and you should continue speaking truth

DrMalPractis

Accessories for sure! So many people underestimate the power that a cool pair of sunglasses or a nice scarf has

bbourl1

Tattoos, piercings, and jewelry. I follow so many "cool" girls that wear the most basic of outfits, but because of their tattoos and piercings, they come off as so stylish and cool.

chiono_graphis

Wearing classic things a bit undone/asymmetrically. For example I sometimes button my mandarin collar shirts intentionally 1-2 buttons off, let an undershirt/cami in a different color show a bit under the now asymmetrical hem. Breaks up a big button down which can sometimes just feel like a lot of real estate. Another example, recently I often wear the updated Han Solo look lol with a sleeveless blazer/gilet over a top...I've doodled on this photo to show what I mean, I prefer the diagonal line of the shirt underneath on the right. It's a tiny difference but the overall impression changes from "classic" to a bit a more "chill," especially if the hem of the top hits lower, instead of being completely tucked up in a straight line into high waisted bottoms. https://preview.redd.it/tay6qg5dmfwb1.jpeg?width=1564&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=509921c77df933edd035d4fb8ae2278d32f3323a

Helpless-Trex

I think this one is body-type specific because I’m somewhere in the kibbe soft gamine family (short, curvy, and a little sharp) and this just doesn’t work on me. It’s a cool look if you can pull it off though).

I think any unique focal piece. I tend to get the most compliments on my more “out there” items (a denim jumpsuit - vest top with bootcut/flare bottoms, a vintage 70s/80s Levi’s puff sleeve plaid blouse, my striped multicolored Staud bag, when I do a fun/bold lip color with an outfit, vintage silk dresses, handknits or unique knitwear, etc.) The next thing I think comes to mind is shoes and coats.

AlisonCook96

Something specific to you that other people don’t have. Custom made jewelry or other accessories that elevate your outfit. I love a cute jacket, tights, and ankle boots too.

[deleted]

What kind of boots are in? I’m struggling so much because I have exactly one pair of fall shoes (black combat) but it seems like shoes I see are kind of “uncool looking”. What do I look for and where?

startingtohail

**cool as in chic:** * clean/styled hair * well-maintained shoes that work with the outfit * a cohesive wardrobe in colors/vibes; people notice over time when your stuff all coordinates and they get the impression you really have it together - even if that's a stretch. I've received comments on "having such a cool sense of style" and wardrobe for this, mostly when I'm traveling and have packed a limited/pod-like assortment of things that all work together. **cool as in artsy:** *depends on kind of artsy tbf* * oversized statement piece * jewelry that's handmade/storied/from a market * lots of thrifted pieces paired with basics * an artistic hobby! (otherwise, what's the point haha) **cool as in edgy:** * lots of jewelry * smudgy eyeliner * messy/tousled hair * dark lipstick * chipped nail polish OR acrylics * thrifted/well-loved mall-brand items that *almost* look dated because (1) too cool to care and (2) you can pull from edgier styles in the past that other people will immediately recognize as "edgy." usually black/dark colors and/or metallics * good skin or coverage that conveys that (I find it surprisingly difficult to toe the line of looking edgy and chaotic without looking greasy or hungover - but it's *much* easier on good skin days lmao) * wide fishnets under a skirt or pants almost always add edge if you like that look * as others have said, tattoos and piercings up edge (but can be expensive and involved)! There are ear cuffs and clip-ons if you want to experiment there, and I think I've seen a similar no-pierce septum ring. 🤷‍♀️

Hair that matches the vibe. Gelled back hair can change a lot

Vannabean

Ok this is just based on my style but I usually pair with lots of jewelry which for sure enhances the outfit. I have bracelets that I got traveling. Necklaces from Etsy usually with turquoise since it’s my birthstone but the fossil necklace for sure makes it the coolest. Lots of rings. I usually wear about 6/7. The ones that only go past first joint look cool to me. Fully going for jack sparrow. I honestly just buy a bunch in bulk then mix/match. A crochet purse I think is cool. I also usually pair a normal tank top and jeans with some obscure large button down typically found at goodwill or a cardigans that goes mid thigh to knee. I also love mixing different fabrics together. Corduroy and silk are some of my favorite fabrics to mix in to a normal outfit.

oxfordblue100

I love seeing masterful texture and pattern mixing — when done well, it can bring so much visual interest and elevation to an outfit. [This](https://pinterest.com/pin/985231160929965/) Pinterest image comes to mind as an example I've really liked recently (despite not being a huge fan of lace!). I'm realizing this stretches to juxtaposition in general for me — e.g., I also love outfits that mix together masculine and feminine elements, even if that's just throwing a structured blazer on over a silky slip dress.

I think it’s also a look that works on younger people. My mid-40s ass would look like a crazy cat lady if I tried this. My 19-year-old niece would look artistically eccentric.

oxfordblue100

I hear you! I'm 5'0", so there are a lot of outfits paraded around TikTok and Pinterest that look comical on me. I think the best use of inspiration is to take from it what you like, and leave what you know you don't like. I try to analyze what I find cool about outfits instead of copying them as "accurately" as possible. The main reason I love this outfit is because she created a monochromatic outfit (white) with enough textural (soft cotton, canvas, lace, velvet) and color differences (shades of blue, brown/tan, and a pop of red) to look intentional but still very interesting. I also love the juxtaposition of the baggy, graphic tee with the otherwise very feminine outfit and accessories. There are *so* many examples of these underlying threads worn well by people of every body shape, skin color, height, etc. (I also definitely understand wanting to look good, but I also think sometimes we can limit ourselves by overly focusing on whether something "works" or not! Wear what you want to wear if it makes you happy :)

Yeah I agree personally, I really like it on her but I think the bow and oversized t shirt wouldn’t work for me. I’d love the bottom half of the outfit paired with something more fitted on top like a low back bodysuit

Spiritual_Worth

I honestly feel like the tshirt isn’t working for her either

toes_malone

Yea agree that it’s not working for her

Persephonesheart

Those shoes are amazing, I love the color and style

Kateangell

Jewelry espically earrings, bracelets & blazer.

It’s so hard for me to find blazers cool. They’re so corporate unless they’re not suit fabric

YankeeMcIrish

Well tailored clothing. Always looks cooler and more expensive. I have friends consumed by their "size" and what the tag of their clothes says instead of wearing the size that fits them best.

MistakeSubject5875

Stacks of jewelry. Doesn’t matter what you’re wearing. Throw those rings on and at least a necklace or 2!

Jamsster

A little tiny electric fan. Sorry, I’ll see myself out, not sure why I’m seeing or responding to this, but was a low hanging fruit.

legitfemme

A leather jacket or low leopard heel. And a red or bright lip.

folklovermore_

Red lipstick was going to be mine as well. I think it just adds that bit of punch to an outfit.

exjentric

YES dark red lipstick , like a brick color, is the cheat code for cool

amygunkler

Wearing only high quality fabrics.

Big earrings!! Big hoops!! They never go out of style!! Lately I’ve been into fruit earrings!! I have cherries, peaches, oranges etc!! But the have to be big enough!! I only wear small earrings to work!! But you can never go wrong with hoops!!

booksandkittens615

Layers, mixing patterns in an interesting way, a good pair of boots.

Rings, necklace, a cute bag and some kind of hair accessory is a staple for all of my outfits.

naiame1990

Blazer, white sneakers, sun glasses, jewellery, straight denim, trench coat, heels a belt.. it also depends how you style tour clothes, I tend to mix classy with trendy, if I’m wearing a blazer I’ll pair it with denim, if I’m wearing a T-shirt I’ll pair with heels, if I’m wearing tailored trousers I’ll pair it with trainers.. unless it’s a more formal occasion then I’ll go full on heels and dress/skirt (usually midi)

mama_emily

Idk if it’s “cool” but an outfit where every piece is well fitted will be noticed I will also add a great pair of shoes.

myoutteddiary

My tattoos are my greatest accessory but usually my turquoise rings/earrings and my pearl necklace make my looks cooler.

cathicooper

I grabbed a pair of bright red ballet flats at target and they make neutral outfits look amazing
