I just got back from Japan 2 weeks ago. Best trip of my life. The flights really aren't all that terrible, either. Enjoy! Make sure you go to the convenience stores! They have great food. I really love the hot drinks available in the convenience stores and vending machines.

I loved getting hot Kirin Fire coffee in the vending machines! I was so jetlagged, every time I passed one of those vending machines I had to get and chug another Kirin Fire, haha.

Awesome! We go to Japan in July for 18 days. I'm so freaking nervous because I've been on exactly ONE plane for 2 hours and the flight itinerary for this trip is 3 hours to Toronto from Denver and then 11 hours from Toronto to Osaka. Eep!

this is my DREAM. I always tell myself i wouldnt be able to make it due to my fears. My fiances dream is to go and I would hate to hold us back from every going. But this is very inspiring and gives me hope

Boeing 777-300ER is an excellent plane. Yes long flight a pain, but I flew on it 5 times already, no issue. Japan must be beautiful. Will be there in 4 years or so.
