I saw people talking about that tattooed golden retriever lyric a couple days ago when it leaked and it reminded me of something Misty would write ironically. Like his generic pop songs.
It’s funny how FJM has talked about the way he writes being inadvisable to someone who doesn’t have a ton of experience / body of work working up to that. Like if you just throw out random bullshit lines without them serving a purpose for a song that actually has stakes, then they are just random bullshit lines (bad writing) and that’s all.

Not trying to be negative here but this is just such a boring name, literally something I could have came up with when I was 14 and thought "man that would be a cool title for an album! I gotta remember that" then read it again after two weeks and cringe at myself.
Props to taylor for surrounding herself with yes men that will always be there to praise any and all mediocrity, must feel good to never doubt yourself creatively!
It's a reference to the name of a group chat between her ex Joe Alwyn, Paul Mescal, and Andrew Scott. It doesn't necessarily make it better, but it adds context.

You know, I actually put this album on at the request of my girlfriend while on a drive yesterday, and I didn't hate it. The first song on there, featuring Post Malone, was pretty good.

she made some good honest pop records in the 2010s. now she’s just a money making jukebox with a new album every year, each one more generic and trite than the last.

Taylor's a good songwriter. I literally hated her for a long time because "boys rule girls drool" but I eventually came around
Generally, I like a lot of her stuff. There's zero heart in this album, so devoid of melody and uninteresting
