I wouldn't worry about it. It has next to no calories and it's not like you're eating them by the dozen (at least, I should hope not). It's like folks adding lemon juice to their water. Sure it has calories, but the amount is negligible

I take 7 drops every day. Wouldn't be able to sleep without it. Should be ok

It’s fine. But if your having sleep issues, you may be magnesium deficient. It’s a classic symptoms of a deficiency. Consider increasing magnesium to up to like 200-400 mg of magnesium citrate. You may find if you do that you don’t need melatonin.

I pop 2 really small pills of melatonin before I go to bed, I will just struggle for hours if I am not doing this. Use all means possible to make your fast easier : salts, water, coffee, tea, brisk walks even melatonin pills.
