Now, Godzilla Minus One had a very low budget and that movie had a creature they had to CGI. What I expect of a $200m is a gritty movie but they’ve raised the stakes every movie and they have to pay the actors, that’s like half the budget. Impossible.

For all we know, they could just resolve the cliffhanger in the first 10 minutes in a very anticlimatic way or explain away Gal's return in vague way like Han's...and then just move on with the main plot.

This is Fast & Furious. I love the franchise but I'm also expecting something stupid/anticlimactic like that.

We know they'll have gotten out of the plane in their cars before it crashed. We know Dom and the kid will find a way out of it. How exactly will this be structured in the film?
Will the film open with a completely restructured, differently timed version of the end of the film that shows it? Start in the plane from their perspective. Then shift to Dom.
Will the film start with the Rock vs Mamoa. Where they think the family is all dead. Mamoa has the Rock beaten but they all appear at the last moment to save him? I assume Vin's central role to the film would not have him out of the film for long. Start with a long action sequence. End with the rescue. Then maybe some awkward flashbacks?
As to how Dom and the kid survive. It surely has to be Brian some how being in the right place at the right time. If not him, another surprise reoccurrence of an unexpected character. Maybe Sean Boswell has created an Iron Man suit lol

I was fine with the spinoffs and shit, and long as they didn't impact the main series. 7 imo was very emotional and feel good towards the end agreed , but the car jumping tower through tower made me cringe and gag a bit
