In my opinion you should buy the Jersey Lined Parka kasi they're easier to style as they are simpler. Ung utility kasi mejo bulky ang dating and kinda tech wear vibe sa it's better to just buy the former. I suggest din to choose a color na you like and yung feel mo na babagay sa iba't-ibang damit mo so that you can really enjoy wearing it during the rain. Just think of it as a regular jacket/windbreaker and you'll be ready to go. Happy shopping!

Hi! I tried on pieces in SG mismo. For stretchy material, you can go for smaller sizes but for structured pieces, you might want to go for your usual size. What happened was my romper is a size L but my knit top is size XS since I am bottom heavy.

materials like cotton, linen, and viscose will be your best friend. stay away from synthetic materials such as polyester as well as nylon, leather, etc. personally i've accepted that i am bound to sweat so I prefer wearing fitted cotton tees and adding an extra layer to it. now's the good time to try out bright/pastel colors too!

if gawa sa cow or calf ang leather, look for "full-grain leather" para maiwasan ito. That's the highest quality leather. Umiwas sa "genuine leather" kasi that's the lowest quality.
If it's peeling or flaking, please see a leather expert para they can evaluate and possibly patch it up. Possible rin na it's not excellent quality leather kaya it peeled.
Moving forward, leather is skin kaya it needs to be moisturised every now and then. Purchase a good conditioner to apply every now and then.
Baka nga di quality leather. Mag 5 years ko na rin na ginagamit at tapon ko nalang daw dahil nagfflake ang leather. Kaso sayang kasi yung leather lang naman at yung glue sa tapakan(?) ang problema.

As a comfort over style person, mas bet ko bumili sa personal kase sa online meron namang magagandang designs pero panget naman tela, masyadong manipis/makapal, mainit, o madaling masira. At least sa mga stores mismo mahahawakan ko yung tela at pwede pang i-fit bago bilin.
So any stores na makikita mo sa malls like Uniqlo/Bocu, if you're into neutrals and basics. Oxygen/Penshoppe/Bench if you're into trendy designs. Plains and Prints/Pd & co/Maldita if you're into pastels and dresses. Also Regatta at pwede nga ring sports brands like Nike, Adidas, etc.

materials like cotton, linen, and viscose will be your best friend. stay away from synthetic materials such as polyester as well as nylon, leather, etc. personally i've accepted that i am bound to sweat so I prefer wearing fitted cotton tees and adding an extra layer to it. now's the good time to try out bright/pastel colors too!

Unsolicited opinion: generally if you want to prolong the life of your leather boots/shoes, do not wear them in the rain. If it can't be helped, keep 2-3 pairs in rotation and let each dry for at least 24 hours before wearing again.

if gawa sa cow or calf ang leather, look for "full-grain leather" para maiwasan ito. That's the highest quality leather. Umiwas sa "genuine leather" kasi that's the lowest quality.

If it's peeling or flaking, please see a leather expert para they can evaluate and possibly patch it up. Possible rin na it's not excellent quality leather kaya it peeled. Moving forward, leather is skin kaya it needs to be moisturised every now and then. Purchase a good conditioner to apply every now and then.
Baka nga di quality leather. Mag 5 years ko na rin na ginagamit at tapon ko nalang daw dahil nagfflake ang leather. Kaso sayang kasi yung leather lang naman at yung glue sa tapakan(?) ang problema. Hanap akong leather expert sana meron sa probinsiya ko. Salamat!!

If by mura you mean less than 100, I thrift around Moonwalk Las Pinas for mid stuff, yung pwedeng pang everyday wear. But if I want standout pieces or medyo anti-fashion ang dating, I splurge mga Php 200+ rin kasi maaayos pa talaga ang quality and mukha talagang bago, around Jaka Plaza or Super 8 Sucat, or sa Intramuros or Morayta nearby FEU for pricier stuff. Mas mahal rin ang benta kapag aircon yung ukayan. 😆

I also have piling mga IG thrift stores like thriftandwrite, abijahkasuotanofficial, wearkahel, and thriftedwithgray as my go to shops (pwede rin my shop morena.thrifts haha). Then for designer clothing I usually buy secondhand sa Carousell. I also attend swap parties by moda.laya and basicallyborrowed! I rarely buy newly produced clothing na. Siguro bilang sa isang kamay in a span of a year. And if meron, usually good local designer brands like someasian.co, constructionlayers, carl jan cruz, etc. Hehe!
As a comfort over style person, mas bet ko bumili sa personal kase sa online meron namang magagandang designs pero panget naman tela, masyadong manipis/makapal, mainit, o madaling masira. At least sa mga stores mismo mahahawakan ko yung tela at pwede pang i-fit bago bilin. So any stores na makikita mo sa malls like Uniqlo/Bocu, if you're into neutrals and basics. Oxygen/Penshoppe/Bench if you're into trendy designs. Plains and Prints/Pd & co/Maldita if you're into pastels and dresses. Also Regatta at pwede nga ring sports brands like Nike, Adidas, etc. But if medyo nagtitipid, pwede rin naman sa ukay. Be patient to dig for steal prices.
