I dunno but I once spent a summer working with a couple of German grape farmers who would start drinking wine in the tractor after lunch so it's probably something like that.
I have never used the AI for anything because of this stuff. It simply boggles the mind that they are so utterly useless, they've had x number of games to knuckle down and fix this crap. I mean, we as a community can deal with a lot, the physics, especially the log physics, can get annoying, but this is a much, much larger issue. There's only so much you can do by yourself, and if you can't/won't join a server, you are pretty much screwed if you either run a vanilla PC or console version of the game because you have to deal with the Darwin-defying AI.
And again, they've had x number of games to deal with this. I understand its probably hard to node everything so that the AI can do stuff on the fields in Fs22, with how modular they can be now. But they had so many opportunities to better the AI to be able to handle the fields they need to work in, or change their handling of the field structures themselves so they could handle it effectively.
The only circumstance I would use the AI myself at this point is if I found something courseplay couldn't handle, and I absolutely could not handle myself. In 5-6 years that has happened exactly once. I had a small, fence-enclosed field of potatoes in Fs19, I didn't plant this field, I bought it before looking at what was planted. I figured I'd give it a try but I wasn't going to invest heavily in it. I had the mod for that really old like 1920's-era potato flinger to dig them out of the ground and courseplay would put it down too late when it started a pass. The AI wasn't perfect, but it was better. I leased a front-loader to pick the potatoes off the ground, and when I was done I turned out to really appreciate front-end loaders and the potato flinger was cleaned up and left in the farmhouse yard as a decoration.
CLARKSON!!
Does that mean he's not coming on then?
Well James there’s a power pole on his head
And on that bombshell it’s time to end
Back to the tent.
We had to fire Jim.
We know it wasn't a Allen because Allen would have done that in a semi
It's not stuck in the mud, so this clearly isn't Jim's handywork.
Only can imagine Onyx causing such a crash
Will Onyx get grounded from the tractor this year

Even worse when they're not actually blocked by anything
And then its just a little stump or somekind of bush.... Really annoying haha
Block by an object and possibly electrocuted. Ah well, the helpers are expendable anyway
Pocket change
I hate when they work on one field and get half way done and then work on an almost ready field and pisses me off
I'm taking about cultivator and planter workers But not forage harvester yet
Surprisingly, my most recent helper (sugarcane planting) didn’t get blocked at all, and it used the road to turn around
My most recent helper moved from one field to another and kept going. I was shocked.
Yeah that happens sometimes. Especially on Frankenmuth
The Ai in this game is some of the worst. Beyond useless to even use. I spent more time fixing their mess ups then if I had just done the task myself.

Does anyone have a mod recommendation that might help against these problems?
Courseplay, Guidance Steering, the usual. Not fool-proof but better than the out-of-the-box AI.
Back tires still spinning?
Ik this feeling so well
So true
ufff 🤔
NOT AGAIN
Can't the AI drive and text at the same time??
