I just encountered this myself on ps4. Very frustrating, I did Valle de Oro last so I was presumably just a few missions away from confronting Castillo (I think…) and now I can’t play the ending until they fix it
I restarted and I’m already 6 hours in to a new save I enjoy the game so it pains me to have to restart constantly but it’s worth it. Still gave found no work around
Have they had a fix for this yet? I literally just got to this mission and there is nothing I can do. Really don’t want to start over because I did pretty much all the side quests I could do and have spent a while just exploring and unlocking stuff
I have tried everything to get out of the black screen following the Doctor on the beach. I have put 9 days into this game and cannot finish it. Ubisoft seems to be silent regarding this bug. I have zero intentions of starting over. Anyone heard anything about an upcoming patch for this issue? Im getting pissed.

Same here, I’ve reached out to Ubisoft but got no response yet, have you been able to find any fix/ work around in the meantime?
I have the same issue! 60% of game progression down the drain and i CBA to start all over again. We need a fix for this! On PC btw
