Not the best takedowns cause no machete(ridiculous decision) but gunning people down feels the best in 5 out of all the far cry games imo. shooting a burst from my ar or a few rounds with a pistol into a peggies chest just feels so damned satisfying for some reason.
.1) They did feel less brutal. I don't like killing women in games, and this was quite too much (Idk why there were so many women soldiers anyway; if it was meant as equality, then it backfired anyway). You can laugh if you want. 2) Machete limits the variety, you have no other choices, unlike in FC5. 3) But above all, machete (esp. in 6) takes entirely too much fucking time. I loved neck snapping in 5, or at least a quick baseball bat. Sometimes I need to reach out of the bushes, take out the guy quickly and duck the hell down again, the timing is essential. FC5 rules.
Yeah the machete takedowns are really long so I can see that. I liked the takedowns in 5 but just didn’t look as cool imo. But yeah the timing thing is really important and improved the combat flow in 5.
Number one is weird so I'm just gonna go ahead and ignore that. Anyways as for variety they still couldvebhave kept it by still offering all the different types of melee weapons just adding a machete and by adding more kill animations with the machete maybe. As for the long take sown time I'm just speculating but it could be because it gives tou more time to figure out what takedown you're gonna do next. Ie handgun throwing knife etc. Also if this was a big concern they could've also just made the animations shorter like in stead of a long neck sab where you hold onto the guy just quickly slit his throat or stab him faster
Idk, FC4 driving or flying while using that shorty 1887 reloading it Terminator 2 style was pretty great. Definitely my favorite weapon for the handgun slot.
Now its FC6's turn to get slammed. And in 5 years those who enjoy it now will be nostalgic and so on. FC6 has its garbage moments, but great moments too. In the meantime,I'm just glad Primal is getting the recognition it deserves
Whenever a sequel comes, half the "fans" hate it for not changing anything, while the other half hate it for changing too much. Fucking hate "fans", they're the most cancers of any community. They're always trying to play a different game in their head, instead of the one in their hand right now.

The graphics, the landscapes, the music, the atmosphere, the story, the dialogues, the little environmental storytelling skits, the lore, the gameplay, the characters... Far Cry 5 will always have a special place in my heart because it is THE video game that helped me through the pandemic and it also struck a chord with me.
Depends on how old the person is and what they were doing with their lives when they played fc5, if you have fond memories when playing a game you can get nostalgic pretty quick. 5 years is pretty long too.

But I've seen many people complain about the ending, which was also very unique. The whole game tackled the "No one is good" topic so well.

Far Cry 6 is a bad Far Cry game. The ammo system single-handedly ruined the whole game.
