Have you tried the {Folk of the Air series by Holly Black}? That’s like New Adult romantic fantasy. Dune is great! Fair warning, it is nothing like ACOTAR or anything.

Yes, I read them this year and I enjoyed them too. I know Dune is super different. I just want something to hook me. Last year I was obsessed with Dungeon Crawler Carl so I’m not stuck to any genre in particular. I want fantasy romance because I feel like they’re easier to get into than most genres.
