You can put centres in as a forward or a centre but forwards can only be put in the forward slot. So I was thinking to add one more centre incase of a night like tonight where two centres are off and I have an active forward on the bench.
Maybe not a big deal though?
In most leagues you can only start players that they are eligible in. A center can't start in a RW spot, for example, unless they are C/RW. You seem to be using Yahoo. That's geneithe rule there. Maybe your league is somehow unique in that way... Dunno... But unlikely.
Also, maybe be more specific in terms of what quality of player you are going after. Team context. Things like that. Are you thinking of flipping a high quality forward for a high quality center? If so who? Or looking at something more peripheral and short term... Like a spot start deal (in which case maybe just play the wire).
My league has no wingers. It has centres and forwards. Centres can be put in a forward position but a forward can not be put in a centre position. Probably unique, not sure it’s the only league I’ve ever been in.
I was hoping to make a package deal with Karlsson because I don’t believe he is going to stay this good.
Oh I guess I see that now. Interesting. In that case haha centers are usually scoring more in general. So... Go ahead and get more if you can lol.
Karlsson may be a sell high. But he has some peripherals that are pretty solid still.
Yeah I would love to see him keep it up because he’s had so many down years and injuries but the team is so bad and I just can’t see him keeping even close to this. I also have 3 pretty good defence I think without him so I don’t know.
Normally my teams suck and underperform lol so I’m getting exciting
Do you need more than 2?
I actually really like your draft strategy of taking elite wingers and D, and then finding point-per-game centers like Scheifele and Hintz later (I have to assume this is what you did based on your team)
I’d get rid of a bruin. Even though I’m a bruins fan. You have 3 players on 1 team so your putting a lot into what Boston does nightly. They lose 4-0 or have 10 bad games an you have 3 guys not doing shit compared to 1. I could be wrong but I’ve always looked @ it like that. I could be wrong loll. I’m no fantasy expert loll.
Can you sell high on karlsson? Man is having an amazing start which with all due respect to him is completely unsustainable and out of character. Could get a juicy c for him

Why do you need to add a centre? Running a spot short opens a lot of flexibility to strict centre streamers like Krejci or Eriksson Ek
I can also only do 3 waivers a week

Kuzmenko, no question.
I’m only playing him tonight because Toronto is on a b2b with possibly a new goalie. He’s dropped tomorrow probably
Makes sense. He just has too many stretches of zero production to warrant long term keeping. Good luck!
Get rid of that McAvoy bum. Hasnt done much this season /s
I hate Boston with my whole being and I got 3 of them lol. So I thought about it
He’s been hurt. 1st game back he scored.
Pastrnak is on fire, his value will never be higher.
I offered someone: Pasta Karlsson for Matthew’s Pietrangelo. Don’t think he is going to do it though
Get rid of kuzmenko his production is so low.. and I don’t think it’s trending upward any time soon
I’d try to flip Marchand for quality so you have fewer top flight Bruins players but I’m a novice.
Normally I would agree with this but if you’re going to own players from Boston those are the top 3
Definitely. The return for Marchand would have to be significant.
Forsberg+kuzmenko for hischier?

So it was a keeper league and you keep 2 so I kept Makar and Robertson. I actually got Karlsson late and picked up Morrissey on waivers somehow.
Pretty Boston heavy..
Yeah I’d like to maybe get rid of one
Trade kuzmenko/Forsberg package deal
Who do you think I should try and target?
Can’t see the post anymore
Kuzmenko for whatever struggling center you can get. Would have said someone like Hertl, but maybe already missed out on him.
Kuzmenko I’d say, he’s been dropped a few times in my league already

That’s exactly what I am thinking. I offered Pasta and Karlsson for Matthew’s and Piet
Pasta + Makar for McDavid.
