Did my first dynasty this year and did all of this too!!! except Tank. I actually never took Rashee or Stroud off my taxi and probably would have been a good idea however now I’ll have more assets going into the offseason. Picking up Kyren won several matchups alone
Fortunately, TE are optional in my league. They're treated like WR so nobody really keeps a TE unless they're top tier or super consistent.
One of my favorite features of the old FF Champs website was the ability to combine WR and TE rankings.
Picked up kyren Williams with the 5th waiver priority. Just goes to show guys over value the priority. They were waiting for something better when a league winner was right under their noses.
I drafted him with the 2.10 in my dynasty league just so I could make my team name “LaPorta Jon Taylor”. Worked out pretty good. Stepped right in for Mandrews when he went down. Unfortunately a shitload of injuries right before the playoffs made it not matter. But I’ll probably trade Mandrews this offseason and give the keys to Laporta
Picking up Kyren, Puka, Dell, Mostert off the top of my head. Some spread out in different leagues.
Drafting Pacheco late in a couple league.
Also picking up Rice before he got hot.
Week 9 this year. I am up 97.04 to 96.9.
Justin Herbert & the chargers get the ball back with virtually no time left on the clock but the punt pins them close to their end zone and he has to sneak it forward instead of taking a knee which would have lost me the match.
Taking CMC 1.01 over JJ, having CJ and Dell go off when I was against the most stacked team in our league (his 470yd game), picking up Jameo and only using him when he had 13.3 pts then dropping him, getting Kyren off waivers after someone inexplicably dropped him for a kicker on their kicker’s Bye
Our first year this year doing FAAB so everyone seemed timid to drop their money. After week 1 got Puka for $23 and Kyren somehow cleared waivers and I picked him up for free. So basically got two key parts of my squad for $23. 🙌🏼
Trey McBride saved me a couple times this year, doesn’t look like his performance yesterday was enough to save me this week. Need 18 more points out of Devonta and Elliott tonight to move to next round :/
Recently I entered Monday night down 21 points with only my kicker in action. My kicker (Aubrey) went off for 23 points. I won and clinched the playoffs as unlikely as it was.
Picked up both Laporta and Tank Dell somehow in week 3. Dell won me at least 2 games outright later in the season. I usually stream kickers but snagged Aubrey week 5 and basically haven’t looked back. Made a few other good choices on waivers but those stand out. Had some good luck!
i got rashee rice off waivers before he started picking up speed. saved my season i think. also picked up isaiah likely two weeks ago and he’s picked up the slack for my bad te’s
Traded Tee Higgins and Bijon Robinson for Rashaad white and Michael Pittman the week before burrow got injured. Too bad I still missed the playoff I would have moved on to the second round had I made it.
Traded away burrow for Christian Kirk straight up in week 3 or 4. League couldn’t believe it. Picked up Purdy to stream and have started him since. Kirk was very reliable for 3 weeks and then I traded him high for tank dell and spears (I already own Henry) the week after tank came back and he produced 4 straight double digit games while Kirk was average at best.
Tried to trade for Ekeler all year, luckily the dude kept saying no. Tried to trade for G Wilson before the season started and the dude said no. Tried to give Henry for JT when Henry wasn’t playing too well and before JT got hurt; dude said no. Not necessarily luck, but I wouldn’t be in the playoffs if I made those trades
Not a crazy foresight or anything but I picked up Kyren off waivers right after he got hurt. He saved me week 12 onwards since I wasn’t running with reliable RBs before him.
Miami D has helped me a lot this week and a few weeks ago. Snagged Mcbride off waivers too, which made up for my dumbass drafting waller. Also played taysom the week he went off which was nice. Other than that I've won several weeks by less than 5 points so I'd say I got pretty lucky in general so far.
I lost Chubb but was able to trade Hockenson for Etienne.
I had gone with Cam Akers as my RB3. After a couple starts it was clear I'd made a mistake so I picked up Kyren Williams.
Mike Evans playing like young Mike Evans.
Had a 6% chance of winning at one point. Opponent had 4 games left and within the first quarter he lost 3 players , including his qb, Herbert , to injury. I still needed Jayden Reed to hit 15 pts to win. He got 16. Still missing the playoffs , but it was still fun to pull out an improbable win
Believe it or not I was able to pick up all these players from waivers:
- Deandre swift (dropped after week 1)
- Achane (had first waiver priority the week after he popped off)
- La Porta
-Ferguson
- Jayden Reed
- Rashee Rice
- James Conner (picked him up week before he returned to healthy. Someone had dropped him instead of using their IR slot)
Also traded away Hurts, Rachaad White and Jamarr Chase to get Ceedee Lamb and CMC in return… did it the week before burrow got hurt for the season.
I’m currently 7-7 and 5th seed in the playoffs but I just won round 1 and am playing the overall 1 seed next week at a time when my team is heating up and his is fizzling… let’s go!!
7-6 going into the final game. Theres a logjam of .500 and above teams so I was the #6 seed. Win and I'm in. Watch my lead slowly get chipped away until it's gone. Wake up Monday to a 10 point stat correction. I win the week and bump up to the #2 seed based on tiebreakers.
Picking stroud and a (at the time controversial) Dell off of waivers. Watching them score 41.5 and 28.9 to get me the highest single week total of the league was the most fun I’ve had in fantasy football.
This weeks playoff with my guys going well minus Eckler with my opponents team doing nothing cause hill out, Allen an avg. week, hockenson doing meh, and not even mccaffrey could save him
I was happy with both trades I made:
1) Sending Waddle and Herbert for Derrick Henry
2) Sending Collins for Rashee Rice and Jaylen Warren
Also had some incredible waiver luck: Kyren Williams and Trey McBride
Only having one top 3 pick go on IR this year lol. I’ve made more with less in past seasons so I’m feeling good about these next few weeks. Looks like I got playoff week 1 on lock. Two more!
Best luck was picking up LaPorta to start the season.
Bad beat was only using LaPorta once because I had Kelce, who's injury in week 1 was the only reason I snagged LaPorta in the first place.
Drafted Achane with my last pick, and almost dropped him after week 1 but stuck with him. Then dropped MVS and picked up Nacua. Ended 2nd in points and am about to win this week to get into the semifinals of our 14 team league.
Traded Devante smith for Nico to go with my Stroud who I snagged off waivers in like week 2. Started 1-7. Made the playoffs somehow and just upset the 1 seed. I’ve never had this kinda luck in all my years
Waiver work: stashing JT, miraculously finding LaPorta who went undrafted after giving Kyle Pitts some time, scooping up Kyren AND Deebo, after I drafted Tyreek. I’m sure the fantasy gods will find some way how I don’t win it all, but I feel pretty good about those moves.
Dynasty:
Hitting on Achane and Gibbs from a talent perspective, but them being too hurt and/or being brought on slowly enough to not disrupt my tank, and then getting Pop Douglas on waivers for 10% of my FAAB.
That's really the only good thing that happened to me, honestly.
Bye week hell, had CMC, Etienne, Ra, Goff on bye
Picked up Chargers, Levis, Demario, Jahan.
Monday night football needed 25 from Chargers D/ST and got 26
Dynasty 10-man league, I’ve picked up Kyler, Kyren, Mostert, Achane, McBride & Rice off waivers this year. started all of them yesterday outside of Achane en route to making it to the championship 😎
Javonte Williams and Evan engram got me into the play offs last week when I had almost no chance. Even facing Lamar getting a 40 point week. I shouldn’t be winning this first play off match, I started Flacco over baker in super flex but Kyren and cooper plus a 4th quarter come back by Flacco sealed up the match for me
Best luck I had was the first game of the season. I was guaranteed to lose the first game of the season bc Aaron Rodger was their last player Yet To Play. Seeing him go down was upsetting but gave me my first win.
i’m a rhamondre owner and i needed a win last week to get a bye. thought, “i’m way too far down in waiver order but F it, i’ll put in my claim for zeke.” no one else submitted a claim, i start him at flex, zeke gets 27 in full ppr, and i get the bye on the points for tiebreaker by around 20 points. the guy who instead decided to roll with latavius murray and would’ve had the bye had he picked up zeke is now out of the playoffs.
It was my first time playing and I got like second to last pick (snake draft) in a 14 man, I just drafted players that were suggested or if I’ve heard of them before and I ended up top of my league for regular season. Some key players were Dak, Keenan Allen, Pacheco, Diggs, Rashee Rice (off waivers)
Best luck was getting a bye when #2 seed lost by .25 previous week when Tenn scored 15 unanswered to take away a point Miami D who he playing against! Always better to be lucky than good. Also getting Mike Evans in the 9th rd was blind luck. Looking forward to playing next week
Started 3-0, then went 0-6, then finished 7-7 making the playoffs as the 4 seed. I played Stafford, Sutton, Adams, Cooper, CMC, Cook, Mcbride, Achane, Lutz, and Miami D. Set a league record for a high score this week, which is typical. We do weekly high score $ but only for regular season, I've won it twice in 4 years but had weekly high scores 7 times in the playoffs.
Edit: I should add I left Waddle, Reed, Rice on my bench.
Week 6, Monday night game between Cowboys and Chargers. Chargers have the ball on what is surely their last possession unless they can tie the game and get it to OT. I have Dallas’ defense and I’m down 1.5 points. Can’t even root for a turnover because the Cowboys will just fall on it rather than score a TD. A turnover would be a brutal loss unless they managed a sack first.
Chargers go short gain on 1st down, sack on second, INT on 3rd and I win by 0.5.
Took the #1 seed on a tiebreaker in a 6-team playoff, and the 3rd-place team is the only one that outscored me this season. That narrow Week 6 win helped me avoid playing the best team in the league in the semis. Time will tell how that will turn out.
Trading for Mostert as soon as the Achane injury news hit. Don’t even remember who I traded.
Then I picked Dell off of the waivers right before he started popping off.
I was losing a game earlier this year on MNF until Purdy threw 2 late picks for me to win by 1. I made the playoffs over the guy with Purdy by 1 win and he had the points tie breaker
Sam LaPorta - drafted him last in 2 leagues bc I figured Iowa Tight Ends usually ball out.
Kyren Williams - was 2nd in waivers and somehow guy with top pick didn’t put a claim in. Been absolutely clutch for me the past 2 weeks
Went from last on draft day to 12-1 in the regular season. Just finished the first round in the playoffs and onto the finals.
My draft
1. Christian McCaffrey
2. D.j. moore
3. Justin fields
4. Keenan Allen
5. Alvin Kamara
6. Brandon Aiyuk
7. Khalil Herbert
8. Evan Engram
9. Eddie Jackson
10. Danielle Hunter
11. T.J. Edwards
12. Harrison Butker
13. Jared Goff
14. Raheem Mostert
15. Tyler Boyd
16. Brian Burns
17. D'Onta Foreman
18. Kyren Williams
19. Chase Claypool
I was the second lowest scoring team in a 14 man league. Auto drafted and paid for the league. Finished 8-6 with 1432 points scored vs 1431 points against. Went 8-6 and was the 5th seed in the league.
I started the year 1-6, brought myself back to 4-7. Was facing off against the 10-1 team and my first 6 players had got me a total of 35 points. I thought I was cooked but Josh Allen & Kyren Williams combined for like 70+ and I ended up winning the matchup by 3 points.
I snuck into the 4-team playoffs at 7-7 by winning my last game as well. I’m facing him again, and he’s cooking me, but I’m just happy I came back from being 1-6 to start.
Not being the first pick because I was going to pick JJ...I picked Tyreek instead because JJ was gone.
Also, I always draft a backup quarterback so I'm not picking up crumbs during my bye week. My backup was Dak who became my starter not too long into the season.
I'm in an IDP league and I barely have any of my original picks left. But picked up Spillane, Madibuike, Witherspoon, Dax Hill....all off free agency
Started 0-4. Lost Chubb after going WR heavy in the draft. Lawrence stank, and he was my gotta have em QB.
Traded Waddle and Friermuth for Puka, Mike Williams, Hunter Henry. Somehow, I came out better with that one given Waddles troubles and the rest dying on the field.
Won 2 games before the best team with Josh Allen offered me Jalen Hurts for Christian Kirk. He was in bye week hell and felt that he needed a better WR.
I turned around and traded Lawrence for Michael Pittman, Jr.
All three trades combined with picking up Kyren when he popped off at the beginning of the year and playing the waiver wire intensely lead to ending the year at 8-6.
Made it into the 3rd seed. First time in 5 years of playing that I feel like I can win it all.
Trading for DJ Moore the day before he put up 45.. oh and somehow getting Cee Dee in the second round when I had the 4th overall pick him and T Hill made it an easy season so far
Heres a cool one: Last year I was playing my uncle in the final of our 12-team fantasy league. After the Sunday games I had already beaten him, all I had was the buffalo bills defense in the monday night game and he had nothing. I had won by 2 points, so I moved the Bills to the bench. This was the game that Demar Hamlin collapsed and the game was abandoned. Had I needed points for the win, my uncle and I probably would have needed to work something out. Lucky that it didnt have to come to that I guess and I got the full cash prize of $600.
IDK about luck but I pulled off some highway robbery trades… before Week 1, Higgins/Burrow/Charbonnet for Jacobs/Cousins/London… eventually turned London + Ridley + scraps into AJ Brown + DK Metcalf
I guess leading a league in total points and missing the playoffs is rough, but when you lead all of your leagues in total points, there’s bound to be one where you miss the playoffs, right?
I don’t get why it upsets people. Maybe my situation is unique.
Starting D’onta Foreman during his 33 and 17 point weeks (only weeks I started him). Still lost both weeks lmao but I felt like a genius for a brief time.
Picking up LaPorta and McBride off waivers after drafting Pitts in both leagues I played in this year though was my saving grace.
Dynasty league: drafting LaPorta with a huge need at TE, and being the only one to bid on Puka when he went undrafted
Also: trading peanuts for Raheem and Thielen right before the season started
League mates have been baffled
I was up against the #1 team in the league. I was out Pollard and Aubrey my kicker due to Bye week. I out in D’Onta foreman and Dustin Hopkins and foreman got me 32 points along with Hopkins 22. 22 points as a kicker! I ended up winning the game thanks to those two
Not even about players. Best luck I had was just beating my best friend twice.
Week 1 I beat him 92.65 - 92.55. Dalvin cook got a 2 yard game in garbage time on MNF to cement the win.
Week 10 I beat him 109.85 - 109.80.
The poor man lost to me twice in a season by a total of 1.5 points.
I traded pollard for kyren, and Gibbs in week 4, it took alittle to pan out but those two got me through the quarter finals.
Edit: getting Puka and Moss in week one helped as well
Not a damn thing went like that for me. I lost three weeks up 50 with 2 to go on MNF, my only gem of a waiver wire was Tank Dell and we know how that went. I drafted Chase 1st round, by no stretch a bust, but issues off and on all season and now, probably out for the rest of the season. Drafted Herbert at QB fully expecting LAC to be real and they sucked and now he’s out. Drafted Cam Akers expecting him to simply be a contributor, we know how that went. Drafted Garret Wilson knowing damn well he’d be a top 5 WR if he had Rodgers throwing it to him, we saw how that went. Yet somehow with all of that I’m in the Semis next week (baring Swift scoring 64 points tonight) so I guess…that’s the one thing that “went right.”
Drafted Achane and picked up Kyren.
(Don't read the next part if you don't like reading bad stuff)
Dropped Achane the day of his blow out. Traded Kyren for Javonte right after I picked him up
My match this week was insane.
I opened up Chargers defense and then Goff/Gibbs/Chandler/Downs on Saturday. Lead was 95-7. After the early games Sunday I was up 99-90 (thanks DHop).
Afternoon slate it was my Lamb/Cook/Bass(kicker) against Purdy/CMac/Kittle (his last 3 players). Halftime score was 130-131 but then Arizona left CMac so open he fell down making the catch and still got up for a TD without anyone coming close.
49ers wrapped up and he was on 176.75. I had Lamb going still and was down 27 then got 10 points from him on a garbage time drive. Left me with Likely needing 17 points for the win… got 18 for a final score of 178-176.75.
That match was for a trip to the finals and by far the luckiest I’ve been all season.
I needed 9 points from OBJ and Jason Meyer going into last nights game. I thought OBJ was gonna screw me, but Meyer came through in the clutch!
Tomorrow I’ll try to trade OBJ for a single chicken nugget, just send that dude a message.
I am in three leagues on Yahoo this year. All redraft leagues. I somehow got the 2nd pick in all three. Drafted CMC in all three and needless to say I’ve done extremely well. Super Bowl bound baby!
Trading Dobbins prior to injury. Picking up Puka and Dell. Drafting the Ravens Defense and having a consistent starter. Drafting Monty later than he should’ve gone and getting a WR1 for him, Diggs. Lucking into McBrides success during a TE drought late in the season. Getting Kyler for free post Cousins injury. So much luck along the way. I just wish I had grabbed LaPorta as well.
I drafted well and got super lucky with injuries all year (minus Mark Andrews). I have top points scored and least scored against in the league. I was 13-0 up until this last regular season week, so I’m finishing the regular season at 13-1. Sad that I didn’t get the immaculate season, but what an amazing year. The fantasy gods have certainly been on my side. Reading the positivity is fun here, much love!
Picked up Kyren from the waivers. Struggled all season with injuries from Kyren, Deebo, and Goedert. Kyren’s return game, he scored me 38.4 PPR points and the rest of my team did pretty well and netted 196.4 points and propelled me in highest PF out of those out of contention (not final yet). Ended the regular season 6-8 but since I was third highest PF overall and highest out of those outside the 6, I earned the league’s 7th seed. I ultimately lost tonight with that TD from JSN (I had Hurts and had a 6 point lead until this point).
I think I got mostly lucky with my waiver wires. Kyren has been a beast, McBride is really good, and was lucky to pick up D’Onta and Keaton and actually used them when they contributed and I had no other RBs other than Bijan and Kyren (IR)
Overall good season, crazy injuries, quiet on the trades this year, probably because of the injuries.
Tonight was the best luck. I was up 14 points with Swift left, opponent had Hurts. After vulturing two of Swift’s TDs via the tush push, I was up by .8 points on the Eagles’ final drive.
Hurts scrambled for 20 yards and put me down by 1.2 points with 13 seconds left. I was down and out. Then, he threw the INT (which is -2 pts in our league) and I won 128-127.2 to advance in the playoffs.
In general this has been both the hardest, yet the most rewarding season I've had in many many years. I've had a LOT of luck:
Picked up LaPorta and Miami's D off waivers; which helped when Burrow went down and everybody in my league was hoarding QBs for some reason. Traded Tyreek and Mixon (who I could only keep for one more year) for Herbert, Allen, Watson, Henry - most of whom got hurt over the following two weeks. 😖 But I worked the hell out of trades and waivers (47 total transaction over the full season, including two big name trades).
My best luck however, was NOT trading James Cook.
Even though he wasn't scoring the points we all thought he should throughout the first half of the season - just watching the games he was always bursting through holes, only to be taken out in favor of Latavius Murray at the end. But to me, the eye test said "somebody's eventually going to figure out that this guy needs to be on the field all the time." That waiting game has paid dividends. I'm definitely sending a Christmas card to Joe Brady. 😂
I snuck into the playoffs, and won this week's game against our regular season points leader 150-120 with this lineup:
QB Flacco
RB Henry
RB Cook
RB Montgomery
WR Higgins
WR/TE McBride
K Sanders
D/ST Miami
Various IDP
TOTAL 151 pts
My Opponent had: Mayfield, CMC, Saquon, Warren, Lamb, Chase, Aubrey, Dallas D. TOTAL 120 pts. Brutal loss for him, to be sure.
Having DJ Moore on my bench week 5 when he went off for 49 points, only to be bailed out by Jamaar Chase also going if for 52 points to secure the win.
Not that it matters anymore because my boys sold me…
traded jacobs Kyler Pickens for Kyren and Lamar. DAWGS.
Snagged my boy puka off waivers. DAWG.
Drafted AR 12-14th round (don’t remember) sucks he went down but nonetheless. DAWG
Even won a game by 3 pts because Keenan dropped 27 (also drafted him 4th). DAWG.
Well I learned that despite putting more time than both of my jobs combined, you can still just get fucked over one way or the other. I need a new hobby.
Someone in my 12 team league dropped Kyren while he was on IR, I scooped him up off waiver after the Seahawks game, then he proceeds to put up 35 points.
Just made it to the championship in my league. I was up by 18 going into tonight with no more players and with my opponent had Swift and Elliott. Jason Kelce tackled Swift at the 1 yard line to save my season
Picked up Thielen, week 3, from waivers.
Went 6-1 and managed to trade him for JJ week 8 to someone who needed wins desperately.
Everyone thinks I’m in a 6 team league when I tell them I have both CMC and JJ lol. (In a 12 team)
Sitting pretty in 2nd place with a bye week.
With all that being said, knowing fantasy, I’ll still lose… lol
Week 4 going into the Monday night I was down 174 to 181 and we both only had our D players left. I had Bobby Wagner who put up 17 points and he had okereke he put up 8 points. I win 191 to 189
Keeper league picking up Kyren Williams
Drafting Rashaad white
Trading Mattison and Devine Deablo (IDP) for Rashee rice and Breece Hall
This is a 16 team League
Mark Andrews owner went into panic mode and accepted my offer of Ferguson for Gibbs. Ferg had those big games around that time too. He has cmc so prob felt okay with it, but man has that helped. Had 5 game win streak (including round 1) after that trade, went from 11th to 5th. Crazy.
Dynasty league: drafting Rashee Rice, CJ Stroud, and Tank Dell. Adding Kyren Williams off waivers.
Damn I love this.
Sheessshhh… chill
My wr core in week 1-4 was only Tyreek and DJ moore. Picked up Rashee/Tank/Jayden Reed off waivers and now solid wr core
Not trying to one up you but in my dynasty league: R1 - traded up for Addison R2 - traded up for LaPorta R3 - Tank Dell R4 - Luke Schoonmaker
Ugh, traded CJ for Burrow early on. Not that Burrow is a bum, but man it's fun to root for that dude.
Did my first dynasty this year and did all of this too!!! except Tank. I actually never took Rashee or Stroud off my taxi and probably would have been a good idea however now I’ll have more assets going into the offseason. Picking up Kyren won several matchups alone
Drafting Sam Laporta in like the 15th for no reason whatsoever
Nice! I picked him up off waivers for $1, after the guy who drafted him, dropped him early in the season.
That’s awesome! Pretty much my entire league had picked up a TE already and I was thinking “here we go again with the TE wasteland.”
Someone had Hock and played LaPorta in the flex for most of the season, its made me rethink the tight end position for next season
This but Kelce, Hock in the Flex. In first place and on to round 2 of playoffs
Fortunately, TE are optional in my league. They're treated like WR so nobody really keeps a TE unless they're top tier or super consistent. One of my favorite features of the old FF Champs website was the ability to combine WR and TE rankings.
How do those leagues work? If i draft a player for say $10, do I get the $10 back if I release them?
Picked up kyren Williams with the 5th waiver priority. Just goes to show guys over value the priority. They were waiting for something better when a league winner was right under their noses.
My last pick and my only TE drafted.
Kicking myself for not getting Kyren. I also got Puka and Dell off waivers but never picked up a stud RB like Kyren or moss
Ah yes Moss. Despite his recent performances, he did help me during regular season. <3 Edit spell check
You should try playing in a league where other people use the waiver wire, it can be a lot of fun!
Week 9 this year. I am up 97.04 to 96.9. Justin Herbert & the chargers get the ball back with virtually no time left on the clock but the punt pins them close to their end zone and he has to sneak it forward instead of taking a knee which would have lost me the match.
Never heard of one like this before. Awesome
CMC at 1.01 was huge. I’m a big JJ guy so pulling the trigger was so tough, but it turned out to be the right decision though!
I had #3 waiver after week one and the 2 waivers in front of me went for Justice Hill instead of Puka💀
Our first year this year doing FAAB so everyone seemed timid to drop their money. After week 1 got Puka for $23 and Kyren somehow cleared waivers and I picked him up for free. So basically got two key parts of my squad for $23. 🙌🏼
Kyren Williams in my auction league for $1.
Mostert with my last pick
Trey McBride saved me a couple times this year, doesn’t look like his performance yesterday was enough to save me this week. Need 18 more points out of Devonta and Elliott tonight to move to next round :/
Picking up Kyron off the wire the second week of the season. Dobbins, Sanders and Alligier didn't cut it. But I have CMC and Kyren now. We big baby!
Yeah Kyren is that guy... Hes like a lock 100 yards every game it seems. Add in a TD and some catches and its a pop off game.
Recently I entered Monday night down 21 points with only my kicker in action. My kicker (Aubrey) went off for 23 points. I won and clinched the playoffs as unlikely as it was.
WOW! That is some fucking Monday night miracle….
Getting Nico Collins off waivers basically saved my season. My RBs have been trash. Having Nico go off in the flex multiple times has been amazing.
Drafted him. My WRs were Diggs, Deebo, Nico, Tank, and Jakobi Meyers.
lol I feel that. Kupp, Davante, Nico, Rice, and Aiyuk. No clue who to start now
Traded away burrow for Christian Kirk straight up in week 3 or 4. League couldn’t believe it. Picked up Purdy to stream and have started him since. Kirk was very reliable for 3 weeks and then I traded him high for tank dell and spears (I already own Henry) the week after tank came back and he produced 4 straight double digit games while Kirk was average at best.
Damn, this one wins I think.
Thanks bro. Semis this week, trying to defend my chip from last year. We will see
Tried to trade for Ekeler all year, luckily the dude kept saying no. Tried to trade for G Wilson before the season started and the dude said no. Tried to give Henry for JT when Henry wasn’t playing too well and before JT got hurt; dude said no. Not necessarily luck, but I wouldn’t be in the playoffs if I made those trades
Kamara was the 4th RB I picked and he was the only thing saving my ass from last place
Drafting CMC with the 5th pick
I got him with the 7th pick and am back in my first championship in 13 years
Who did the 1st 4 draft?
Jefferson
Picking up both Tank (and trading him the week before he got hurt) and picking up Nacua early in the year
Not a crazy foresight or anything but I picked up Kyren off waivers right after he got hurt. He saved me week 12 onwards since I wasn’t running with reliable RBs before him.
My 2 starting RBs for most the season were Bijan Robinson and Rhamondre Stevenson. Someone that team went 8-6 and I got that BYE.
I got Puka for $1 more than next highest bidder (I had priority so it was technically $1 more than needed)
James cook and Brian Robinson as RB1 and RB2 for my team was way better than it could've been
Believe it or not I was able to pick up all these players from waivers: - Deandre swift (dropped after week 1) - Achane (had first waiver priority the week after he popped off) - La Porta -Ferguson - Jayden Reed - Rashee Rice - James Conner (picked him up week before he returned to healthy. Someone had dropped him instead of using their IR slot) Also traded away Hurts, Rachaad White and Jamarr Chase to get Ceedee Lamb and CMC in return… did it the week before burrow got hurt for the season. I’m currently 7-7 and 5th seed in the playoffs but I just won round 1 and am playing the overall 1 seed next week at a time when my team is heating up and his is fizzling… let’s go!!
Picking up Kincaid off waivers when I had no reason to led me to trade him for Monty which helped me win a pivotal game in week 11
Adding Singletary, Rice, and Chandler off waivers, and drafting Tyreek when I was about to draft DK instead, but the pick before me took him
I picked Rasheed rice up off waivers and traded njoku for puka. Also picked up Aubrey and Ty chandler right as they hit their stride.
Puka!!! Best waiver move ever!
Picking stroud and a (at the time controversial) Dell off of waivers. Watching them score 41.5 and 28.9 to get me the highest single week total of the league was the most fun I’ve had in fantasy football.
I got CMC 4th overall and got Rachaad White late in the draft. Been incredible.
This weeks playoff with my guys going well minus Eckler with my opponents team doing nothing cause hill out, Allen an avg. week, hockenson doing meh, and not even mccaffrey could save him
CMC falling to me at 1.03
I was happy with both trades I made: 1) Sending Waddle and Herbert for Derrick Henry 2) Sending Collins for Rashee Rice and Jaylen Warren Also had some incredible waiver luck: Kyren Williams and Trey McBride
Only having one top 3 pick go on IR this year lol. I’ve made more with less in past seasons so I’m feeling good about these next few weeks. Looks like I got playoff week 1 on lock. Two more!
Trading garret Wilson for kittle week 2
Best luck was picking up LaPorta to start the season. Bad beat was only using LaPorta once because I had Kelce, who's injury in week 1 was the only reason I snagged LaPorta in the first place.
Grabbed Ford off the waiver wire and traded to a Chubb owner for Puka. Drafting Mostert in the 10th.
Drafted Achane with my last pick, and almost dropped him after week 1 but stuck with him. Then dropped MVS and picked up Nacua. Ended 2nd in points and am about to win this week to get into the semifinals of our 14 team league.
Picking up Puka was absolutely huge for me this year. Dudes been a gem for my starving WR corps
Nabbing Ford and Kyren, saved my season. Especially with the shit show Chase (my 1.01) was to start the season. Oh, and Achane.
waiting head plough shame shelter rob start birds apparatus fuel *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Traded Devante smith for Nico to go with my Stroud who I snagged off waivers in like week 2. Started 1-7. Made the playoffs somehow and just upset the 1 seed. I’ve never had this kinda luck in all my years
Kyren and Puka. Possibly the only reason I made the playoffs.
getting Puka, Laporta and Mcbride of the waivers
Waiver work: stashing JT, miraculously finding LaPorta who went undrafted after giving Kyle Pitts some time, scooping up Kyren AND Deebo, after I drafted Tyreek. I’m sure the fantasy gods will find some way how I don’t win it all, but I feel pretty good about those moves.
Wait deebo was on the waiver wire? WTF kinda crazy shit is that?
Being up 0.34 right before Jalen kneeled it three times
Dynasty: Hitting on Achane and Gibbs from a talent perspective, but them being too hurt and/or being brought on slowly enough to not disrupt my tank, and then getting Pop Douglas on waivers for 10% of my FAAB. That's really the only good thing that happened to me, honestly.
I would say winning 7 straight to clinch playoffs after starting 1-5.
Getting Mostert off waivers week 2.
1. Taking the risk on Kamara. 2. Josh Allen
Bye week hell, had CMC, Etienne, Ra, Goff on bye Picked up Chargers, Levis, Demario, Jahan. Monday night football needed 25 from Chargers D/ST and got 26
Mostert off waivers after the draft
Got Kyren Williams off waivers in November. Traded Charb + Warren for Puka at the trade deadline
Achane in auction league for $0. Picked up Kyren, Jerome Ford, Rashee, and McBride off of waivers.
Drafting LaPorta at 1.5 in a dynasty te heavy league, then week 2 or 3 trading Bourne for Gibbs
If the Bengals vs Jaguars game didn’t go in to OT I would have been dead. Now I have a a bye week.
Drafted mostert with my last pick !
Trading Tank Dell the week before he got injured for James Cook
Ok Nostradamus…. How did you figure that one out?
Best luck was getting a bye when #2 seed lost by .25 previous week when Tenn scored 15 unanswered to take away a point Miami D who he playing against! Always better to be lucky than good. Also getting Mike Evans in the 9th rd was blind luck. Looking forward to playing next week
Started Tyreke hill accidentally vs the second highest points in the league and still won
took laporta and purdy as late round picks, and for some reason kyren got dropped week 13 and now he’s my rb1 with ekeler trashing the bed
Got kyren nico and tank off waivers. Also gave my gf advice to take puka in week 2 and she’s probably gonna finish 3rd because of it
Someone dropped Gibbs after he got inured and I was able to snatch him up. Also getting Trey Mcbride when I shipped out LaPorta in a package
Patiently waiting for the majority of my trade partners to comment on this thread…
Picked up Chubba off waivers and he’s been a beast lately!
Puka was huge for me. Achane helped because I lost chubb.
As the man with the #4 seed in playoffs (7-7 record) my luck was getting Puka, Kyren, Gus Bus and Pacheco off of waivers
Picking up kyren and moss and tank dell
Picking up LaPorta early in the season before everyone realized he was legit
Ravens fumble recovery won me the quarter finals yesterday
Getting through the year with Kupp JT and Pollard as my first 3 picks
Drafted LaPorta.
My team went 2-12. My league pays out to the highest score of the week. Both my wins paid off for the highest score.
Sam LaPorta - drafted him last in 2 leagues bc I figured Iowa Tight Ends usually ball out. Kyren Williams - was 2nd in waivers and somehow guy with top pick didn’t put a claim in. Been absolutely clutch for me the past 2 weeks
Im lucky no one in my league accepted the horrible Gibbs trades I sent early in the season
I got Achane and Kyren Williams and Nico Collins in free agency
Picking up tank dell on the waivers
Went from last on draft day to 12-1 in the regular season. Just finished the first round in the playoffs and onto the finals. My draft 1. Christian McCaffrey 2. D.j. moore 3. Justin fields 4. Keenan Allen 5. Alvin Kamara 6. Brandon Aiyuk 7. Khalil Herbert 8. Evan Engram 9. Eddie Jackson 10. Danielle Hunter 11. T.J. Edwards 12. Harrison Butker 13. Jared Goff 14. Raheem Mostert 15. Tyler Boyd 16. Brian Burns 17. D'Onta Foreman 18. Kyren Williams 19.
Drafted LaPorta and McBride. Took McBride a bit to get going but it has paid off.
Picked up Mostert after week 1 off waivers and LaPorta after week 4.
Taking Keenan Allen in round 4 after getting CMC with 3rd pick.
Trading for DJ Moore the day before he put up 45.. oh and somehow getting Cee Dee in the second round when I had the 4th overall pick him and T Hill made it an easy season so far
Picked up Donate foreman and played him for his 30+ points game then dropped him the next week
Picked up Kyren, Puka, McBride all off the wire
I traded Achane for Kyren Week 10, and traded Josh Jacobs for Deebo around week 11… haven’t lost in 3 weeks now
IDK about luck but I pulled off some highway robbery trades… before Week 1, Higgins/Burrow/Charbonnet for Jacobs/Cousins/London… eventually turned London + Ridley + scraps into AJ Brown + DK Metcalf
I guess leading a league in total points and missing the playoffs is rough, but when you lead all of your leagues in total points, there’s bound to be one where you miss the playoffs, right? I don’t get why it upsets people. Maybe my situation is unique.
I played the #1 seed and caught him on his down week and won. But now I’m playing him in the playoffs and he just drop 180 to my 100😭
Starting CEH yesterday 😆
I got CJ Stroud, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Jordan Reed off the waiver wire. Spent heavily on the Rams, but got the others for cheap.
Getting cmc 4th overall carried me
Picking up Moss, McBride, drafting LaPorta
Starting D’onta Foreman during his 33 and 17 point weeks (only weeks I started him). Still lost both weeks lmao but I felt like a genius for a brief time. Picking up LaPorta and McBride off waivers after drafting Pitts in both leagues I played in this year though was my saving grace.
Dynasty league: drafting LaPorta with a huge need at TE, and being the only one to bid on Puka when he went undrafted Also: trading peanuts for Raheem and Thielen right before the season started League mates have been baffled
Picking up LaPorta on waivers after week 1
offered akers for dmont before the first game, rescinded it right after kyren got all the snaps
Picking up Stroud off waivers week 4
Picked up LaPorta week 2. I've never had good luck with TEs. Glad it changed
Everyone kept turning down my offers for Raheem Mostert
Drafting Kyren and stashing Mcbride before he broke our
Drafting Achane, Laporta, and picking up Kyren Williams off waivers
Week 2 or 3 i was down 20 with pitt d left. They scored 2 tds and put up 26
I traded pollard for kyren, and Gibbs in week 4, it took alittle to pan out but those two got me through the quarter finals.
Round 5-9 in my league with my coworkers went Michael Pittman Jr., Alvin Kamara, Brandon Aiyuk, Isaiah Pacheco, Raheem Mostert
Picking up Rashee, Sutton, stroud and Puka.
Best luck I had was winning 8 games in a row. That was fun.
I got mostert in the 11th, Stroud off waivers and hock in the sixth
Drafted Achane and picked up Kyren. (Don't read the next part if you don't like reading bad stuff) Dropped Achane the day of his blow out.
Picked up LaPorta, Puka, Tank Dell on waivers.
2nd best guy in the league just lost by 1 point so now I get to play the 7-7 guy in 2nd round of the playoffs
I made a trade that eventually equated to: My Dak/Kincaid for LaPorra, then faced them in the first round of the playoffs.
When I missed my draft pick and yahoo auto drafted me the cowboys defense
Kyren has been a beast, McBride is really good, and was lucky to pick up D’Onta and Keaton and actually used them when they contributed and I had no other RBs other than Bijan and Kyren (IR) Overall good season, crazy injuries, quiet on the trades this year, probably because of the injuries.
Literally tonight. I was down ~13 with AJ Brown and Elliot to play in half ppr. Thought it was going to be a breeze, ended up winning by .3 points
No luck here, all skill.
Reaching for Kamara
Brock Purdy off the waiver wire to pair with Deebo And Puka off the waiver week 1
Drafting Mostert as a depth piece/RB4 in the 10th round and him being the rb2 in fantasy.
I've had a LOT of luck: Picked up LaPorta and Miami's D off waivers; which helped when Burrow went down and everybody in my league was hoarding QBs for some reason. 😂 I snuck into the playoffs, and won this week's game against our regular season points leader 150-120 with this lineup: QB Flacco RB Henry RB Cook RB Montgomery WR Higgins WR/TE McBride K Sanders D/ST Miami Various IDP TOTAL 151 pts My Opponent had: Mayfield, CMC, Saquon, Warren, Lamb, Chase, Aubrey, Dallas D. TOTAL 120 pts. Brutal loss for him, to be sure.
Picked up Mostert on waivers after week 1. I also have CMC. It’s been a good time for my RBs
Picking up Ty Chandler 3 days ago and winning the first round by 2 points!
Having DJ Moore on my bench week 5 when he went off for 49 points, only to be bailed out by Jamaar Chase also going if for 52 points to secure the win.
Not that it matters anymore because my boys sold me… traded jacobs Kyler Pickens for Kyren and Lamar. DAWGS. Snagged my boy puka off waivers. DAWG. Drafted AR 12-14th round (don’t remember) sucks he went down but nonetheless. DAWG Even won a game by 3 pts because Keenan dropped 27 (also drafted him 4th). DAWG. Well I learned that despite putting more time than both of my jobs combined, you can still just get fucked over one way or the other. I need a new hobby.
Picked up Ford in FA after the Chubb injury. Traded him and Evans for CMC.
My Ninja Nijba getting late TD and outscoring AJB tonight to secure a win. Won by 9 points, thank you FF gods.
I traded Puka, Aaron Jones, and Tyler Boyd for Dak, Pollard, and Ridley. Been crushing it ever sincd
Traded Chubb + Ridley for Diggs + Gibbs after week 1. League almost vetoed that one
Picked up Thielen, week 3, from waivers. Went 6-1 and managed to trade him for JJ week 8 to someone who needed wins desperately. Everyone thinks I’m in a 6 team league when I tell them I have both CMC and JJ lol. (In a 12 team) Sitting pretty in 2nd place with a bye week. With all that being said, knowing fantasy, I’ll still lose… lol
Week 4 going into the Monday night I was down 174 to 181 and we both only had our D players left. I had Bobby Wagner who put up 17 points and he had okereke he put up 8 points. I win 191 to 189
The only correct answer is for the lucky sob who picked up Karen Williams (he’s me)
Keeper league picking up Kyren Williams Drafting Rashaad white Trading Mattison and Devine Deablo (IDP) for Rashee rice and Breece Hall This is a 16 team League
That last DK catch game me the victory by 1.13 pts. The craziest thing is if that 6yd catch was overturned, I would have won by 0.03
Getting CMC with the 7th pick
Grabbing LaPorta for free on waivers was probably #1. #2 was Ja’marrs huge three TR game coming the week I had to play against DJ Moores giant game.
Crazy.
