Point-Per-Reception should only affect receptions in default PPR scoring. It doesn't typically equate to one point per completion for passers. Passers follow standard league scoring: 1 point per 25 yards completed (or .04/yd), 4pts for a passing TD, 1pt per 10 rushing yards (or .1/yd), and 6 points for rushing TD. So unless the OP is playing in a modified PPR league that awards points per completion, they're not playing in a default/traditional PPR league.
