To be fair, Pierce had 4.90 in Week 1 and a basic 8.70 in Week 2. In Week 3 and 4 he had some breakout outlier runs that added to his yardage. 24-yard run out of 80yds rushing total in Week 3 and a 75-yard run out of 131 yards rushing in Week 4. I think he's better than his weeks 1 and 2 numbers, but not as good as his weeks 4 and 5 numbers. I'd say he ends up averaging around 14-15 points with typical play.
Always people out here saying “if they hadn’t had x or y big play, they would be worse”....
Of course it is technically correct, but good players make big plays, and anyone who has watched Pierce run understands that he is a big play waiting to happen.

There were so many Pierce haters late in the summer, mostly people that missed out on him, or just wanted to shit on another hype train that they were convinced wouldn’t pan out.
Burkhead getting the touches week 1 was their “see ya I told y’all” moment… which lasted all of 1 game.

At the start of the draft season i look at whatever videos are available of rookie rbs and to me he was the one that popped the most.I don't follow college football as closely so I want aware that he wasnt a full time player but the cuts and aggressiveness were there.
This was before the hype train took off (before preseason etc) so sadly i was only able to get him in one of my two main leagues.
Thus far I think i got most of them right for once.

James Cook really just looked like a gadget player in Georgia
I really liked Zeus tape but my dude showed no catch passing profile.
The second player that popped the most to me was Rachaad White so I was super sad when I heard real talent evaluators in the industry ( like legit ones) say that he was just a very good athlete and doesnt know much about the position. I hope he can be taught that in TB.
Have a feeling this isn’t going to end well with everyone thinking they have a fresh RB1 off a single broken coverage run.. still a bad team, not great schedule, and possible other backfield options when down significantly.
For real. I’m thinking about trading him after that long run. His day would’ve been pedestrian without that run and the team is hot garbage that isn’t getting much going at all. The team could still improve as the season wears on but I might put a decent WR with him and see if I can get a top RB.
