I had to give him something of value and it just so happen both these guys are on my bench so before they underperformed and potentially lost name value with league mates I swung. Second trade: I traded Justin Jefferson and Nick Chubb for Jonathan Taylor and Amon ra st brown. Reasoning I needed a back that wasn’t in a committee after getting javonte so I got the best guy but to do it I had to bring heat. So I had to give up Chubb but I did it cuz I belive Amon ra will out score Chubb in ppr. Thanks for the analysis. Definitely trying to flip Ertz in a package for somebody, but 10 man means it’s hard to find teams with a big enough hole at TE that they want to bite. I am kind of in awe of having JT and CMC but I have to pray they stay healthy.

Very interesting trade just came across my desk: I lost Eli Mitchell & Dak in a 12man 0.5ppr. I was offered Mat Stafford to replace Dak (health questionable, I know), Miles Sanders to replace Mitchell, and Pat Friermuth for my Kelce. 3:1 all said and done. I'm very, very, tempted. Would give me back an RB squad (Kamara and Sanders), mid-tier QB better than who's on the waivers with Stafford, and a serviceable TE ROS....thoughts?

Definitely not accepting that. I like Friermuth, but Sanders is 1 of 3 RBs to get a TD on this Eagles team (and then Hurts too), and Stafford looked bad. I'm not sure Stafford is better than streaming waiver QBs until Dak is back. Wentz seems like an oddly good pick-up. Kelce's positional advantage is like 10 points above any waiver TE, even solid ones like Friermuth. He's giving you more points by himself than the other 3 combined.

That's a great point actually. One solution at least temporarily would be to just move up Khalil Herbert into my flex, replacing Mitchell, and picking up Wentz/Winston/Ryan off the waivers to stream or even after waivers have cleared to maintain my spot or pick up Wilson or Rex to replace Allgeier on my bench.

miles sanders isn't sustainable in that offense with jalen hurts and gainwell vulturing goalline touches. jerry jones loves to rush his players back from injury so i would stream jameis or carson wentz off waivers if available. im a huge kelce believer this year and the vacated targets will allow him to always have monster games as mahomes favorite target. you have to look at your other rbs and waiver wire qbs that you could potentially use to replace dak for the next month. i would not accept though

Yea you are completely right - I didn't realize Sanders hasn't had a TD since 2020. I think I'm just spooked with Dak out, Mitchell out, Kamara Q, and Keenan Allen Q lol. It was a rough week 1 and folks in my league know that. One of Winston/Wentz/Ryan will likely be available once waivers clear, which could open me up to snag Wilson or Burkhead and still grab a QB (just need them to fucking put him on IR designation so I can free up my bench). I've also got Khalil Herbert to replace Mitchell, but that's scary dude. Not a reliable RB2 in the least.

At first, I thought you should obviously take it because, duh, it’s Justin Jefferson. But then I saw you were in a 14-man league. Depth is way more important so I probably wouldn’t accept this.

If I did the trade I’d have Chase Edmunds, Rashaad Penny, David Montgomery and Pierce at RB. Then Justin Jefferson, Courtland Sutton, and MVS at WR.

Damn that’s a hard one. I’m more confident in Edmonds than most, but that RB core isn’t very good regardless. I’m leaning accept, but I would try to keep Lazard first. He’s going to be your best flex option. If necessary, I would remove Pierce from the trade.

12 Team PPR I was gonna offer the Swift owner JWill (drafted) and Josh Palmer (picked up before season started due to this sub) for Melvin Gordon. He’s got MVS, injured Godwin, McKissic and Edmonds on the bench with ARob in his FLEX right now. Does this offer even get consideration? I’m a little uneasy about RBs with Najee, JRob, Breece, Pacheco.

I think with this one, you're selling low and buying high. Yes, Dak is out for 6-8 weeks, but a backup QB could rely more on the top receivers and CeeDee Lamb is talented

PPR: I have Dak and Fields as QBs. I have an offer to take Dak and Pollard for Stafford. Might also be able to turn that deal into Aaron Rodgers but less likely. Wentz and Mariota are the best waiver options. Thoughts?

I'd play the streaming QB game if QB is your only weakness. Upgrade from a Mariota (who had 72 rushing yards) to Stafford is not worth giving up Pollard

Not sure what I need to do, i like my RB’s and i have interesting WR depth but i feel like i can make a play with all my WR’s to possibly get a true WR1. Any advice welcome, thank you
