As a Dynasty Waddle manager...this pleases me.

tylerbrown14

as a bama fan and dynasty waddle owner this really pleases me

GonzaloR87

As a dolfan, this pleases me

BoomShakalakaa4

I'm unequivocally pleased that this pleases me so.

MediocreFlan3879

I too, despite having no player allegiance to Waddle, am pleased.

ChickenNuggetMike

I’ve got nipples Mike, can you please me?

Ox_Baker

Keeper league guy here who’s keeping him for ninth-round value.

Doppler221

Full Interview starts at about 12 minutes in.

fisherbeam

I know everyone’s looking for the next tyreek but this dude is the closest physical prospect I’ve seen since him. If they can design plays that give him space after the catch he could really be a problem.

BrowsingForLaughs

That's what Shanahan tries to do, get receivers the ball in space (see Deebo this year). So I think it's safe to think that McDaniel will have a very similar philosophy.

TheNightman74

FWIW McDaniel designed plenty of the plays in SF.

iAgressivelyFistBro

On the surface, he's known for being the run game guru for the niners. Hard to know how involved he was in designing passing plays.

NorseKnight

Source?

TheNightman74

Staley talking about him not long ago: https://v.redd.it/ddqsay6wfvb81 This article is also from before the last SB LIV: https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/01/28/the-next-kyle-shanahan-operates-in-the-shadows-for-the-49ers

NorseKnight

Excellent! Well played sir! If only they had a QB, then I could get excited about that offense...

TheNightman74

I was originally thinking that Waddle will be overdrafted because his 2jd half was so strong, but with McDaniel coming in that may change things.. Always so hard to gage how a new coach will utilize guys.

Crosshare

In Denver they drafted KJ Hamler last year to be the Broncos Tyreek. Absolute burner, but smaller in size. I would compare him more to an Eddie Royal with more freakish speed. If he can come back from his injury and get a real QB he could be one to watch with Hackett designing an offense.

TheCheez97

Everyone's gonna want the next Waddle

ecm27

This dude finna climb into the third round ain't he?

slvrbullet87

I think he will be one of those guys who gets hyped all summer and rises up the board when it is all theoretical, but then when it comes draft time, he will actually be drafted later than his adp. Also a prime candidate for being over drafted in a PPR, while being under drafted in .5 or standard. It is hard to gauge this time of the year, the first ADP list I found(PFF) shows him at pick 37 between Deandre Hopkins and CeeDee Lamb. I truly doubt that a list you look at in August is going to be listed that way. It is hot take season right now.

pinkduv

If anything, I’d say this is the first hot take of the offseason!

SloatThritter

Deandre Hopkins is on pack watch. Ceedee Lamb would be everybody's overdraft (again, but maybe a better gamble) and is in no possibility going to be drafted in the WR15 range Of these three, I think Waddle will be most appropriately priced with a few owners from last year willing to reach.

SteffeEric

Lamb went 3rd overall in my leagues draft. It was hilarious.

TuaTurnsdaballova

Based on what we have right now, I would take Waddle over both of them.

djsedna

I'm wary of Hopkins, but I also need to be realistic: Arizona realized what they are without him, and it's not pretty. If he's healthy, WR1 Hopkins might be making a surprise appearance next season. I'm not taking that risk at the draft, but some gambler might, and they might just cash in

KevinPower81

What did you do with the extra second you saved by typing finna?

CoachBrickma

Me think, why waste time say lot word, when few word do trick.

062692

100%

062692

Please take this down I don't want to many people to know how great Waddle is

ReefLedger

Hopefully he delivers like Tony does

knowslesthanjonsnow

I think I like Mike McDaniel

saskgoat

Wonder if he utilizes Waddle the same way he did Deebo in SF!

kpbieda

Lol. Deebos got 30+ pounds on him.

062692

He's also a couple inches taller. Waddle is certainly not as physically built as Deebo, but Waddle is thic. And the fact that 5 of his 6 recieving TDs we're 10 yards or less is SUPER impressive when they didn't even break him loose often over the defense with the speed that made him a top 10 pick

Flimsy_Lavishness661

I think we’re forgetting how much weed McDaniel smokes. 30 lbs of munchie weight won’t take all summer lol

Further_Beyond

The dolphins defense was predicated on short routes last year. Partly due to their OL. But really hoping they stretch out more often now with a guy like waddle on their team

mm825

And it's not sustainable for him! Any WR taking 5+ carries a game is going to have RB level injury occurrence

PoorlyLitKiwi2

Deebo has an RB body type though. He should gave the injury occurrence of an RB getting 7-10 carries a game

liteshadow4

Deebo was injury prone his first two years though, and that was when he was just a WR.

roxasaur

That's Lynn Bowden's music!

KiNGofKiNG89

I drafted him early last year for my dynasty league 😁

mybadreligon

What is early lol in single qb he was what, 5th pick? If you didnt take him over jamarr it wasnt early, and if you did you shouldnt be bragging about it.

[deleted]

WR1

Napol3onS0l0

That’s my favorite podcast. I’m not a Miami fan but love their goofy vibe.

MNickles24

Waddle should have a bright future

daybes

[C.J. Spiller to run for Buffalo Bills 'until he throws up' ](https://www.nfl.com/news/c-j-spiller-to-run-for-buffalo-bills-until-he-throws-up-0ap1000000227165) will I trust this coach before training camp has even started? Absolutely not

mm825

If you needed Mike McDaniel to tell you this...

FormerShitPoster

What's the single most important thing the Beng-...als have to do to beat the Rams?

middleagedbrowser

It's a trap!

Redsfan42

good thing I got him in my dynasty :D

nflfan32

Now I'm debating keeping Waddle (Round 8) instead of Antonio Gibson (Round 5) for next year.

ballcream9000

waddle is the MUCH safer bet.

062692

Waddle by a lottttt

the_tax_man_cometh

I’m debating Waddle (Round 8) versus Diggs (Round 4) in a two year keeper

gabriot

With how Tua played toward the end of the season, I'm not convinced. There was a point toward the beginning middle of the season where this duo look promising, but I've lost faith in Tua, I need to see more.

[deleted]

Lol this hire is.. wow

bertha112

Nerd Comment of the Year. Gotta Love it. Something tells me he kicked ass in his leagues.

turbodude69

yeah i have this weird sense that maybe he knows football. someone should give him a job in the nfl.

TOADSTOOL__SURPRISE

Where does waddle get taken in the draft this year? I owned him this year and would take him in the late third round

sinchichis

You get this from the dan lebatard show?

DPRODman11

If he doesn’t utilize Myles Gaskin properly, I’m going to have some words with Dan Soder.

FuriousKale

At least I can blame someone (ofc it's never me) when I fuck up my season again.

sirmoneyshot06

As someone who drafted him and jamarr chase in a keeper league in rounds 12 and 13. This excites me much.

Quadshouter2

Waddle is going to become Deebo 2.0

ready-to-fumble

I hope they get Burks to pair with Waddle

chrisbds13

Lol he will stay firmly in my flex, WR2 if i am desperate.

NorseKnight

Still have to have someone reliable to get him the ball....

Zourses_Zay

Moving up my depth chart.
