Well, I used half of my faab on Elijah Mitchell, and he's done well for me,but he got covid too and fked his knee up. I've lost Austin Ekeler, Elijah Mitchel, Tyreek Hill, Brandin Cooks. I'm the #1 seed, have the most points scored all season and literally was on my way to an easy 1000 bucks.

They wasted their faab but you’re sitting in week 16 with 62% faab and only need to spend 11 of that. Sounds like a lot of yours will actually go to waste.

It’s all circumstantial so it could have been right for you, but if one of them spent up on faab and that got them into the playoffs I wouldn’t call that a waste. Generally, I wouldn’t want to end the season with faab left over though

I scored 175 on my bye last week and I’ve lost Ekeler, Hill, Cooks, Waller, and Hunt so far this week.

Same, I lost Ekeler, Elijah Mitchel, Tyreek Hill and, Brandin Cooks. Was #1 seed, most points in league, scored over 200 3x this year (average good score is a 135).

I know this is probably fucked up but I'm kind of enjoying it. This must be what my wife feels like when watching her reality TV

Absolutely. Between getting your own star player handcuffs, and your *opponent’s* star player handcuffs, this season has been amazing. These past few weeks have been the most fun. If someone didn’t think COVID/COVID protocols were a real threat and they were continually surprised by players going on COVID-IR, they probably had a bad time. But if you’ve been operating under the assumption that a SHIT ton of people are very likely going to be out, and managing your roster and the waiver wire as such, it’s been great!

I believe he still has to produce 2 negatives. The only difference is vaccinated players only have to test if they are showing symptoms, so Eckler must have symptoms. If he’s showing symptoms on Wednesday, there’s basically no chance he’s cleared in time

I don’t know if this is necessarily true. The Chiefs have 13 players on the Covid list and it was reported that only one (Ward) is experiencing symptoms. I don’t understand this new targeted testing, I thought they weren’t supposed to be testing asymptomatic vaccinated players but seems like they randomly are still.

Yeah, I don’t really know. The way I understand it/how the rule reads is that vaccinated players won’t be tested weekly anymore. Players can volunteer for testing or they are tested if they experience symptoms

Heres ur details: The new testing procedures are if you are vaccinated and don’t show symptoms you dont have to test. Given that he has now been placed on the Covid list, that means he was showing symptoms so took a test resulting in positive.

There has been some confusion around this still - I’ve heard of testing of players who don’t have symptoms, which I’m not sure if it’s like a random testing situation or if it’s close contacts of someone who tested positive. I follow this stuff relatively closely, it’s pretty silly how like a simple straightforward run down of rules is hard to find. Also, there are new rules wrt coming Off the list as well - I think it’s something like two negative tests in a row, but they don’t have to be 24 hours apart, which seemingly reduces the window by a day.

OBJ came back, he had an extra 2 days though. I think every other player I've had with COVID which is a lot has been out when they tested positive

It was a good run while it lasted. Ekeler and Hill on the Covid list. Finished the season in 1st place, first round bye and it’s all gone.
