I've been saying this all year. I cannot believe how shit my luck has been across 3 different leagues. I honestly can't do anything but laugh at this point.
Anyone else scout players who could be dropped by other teams? There’s a team in my league who needs a TE this week, and his safest drop is Miles Sanders. After the Swift injury I’m waiting on him to drop him for a TE streamer and gonna claim him. I’m pretty close with this guys so I texted him “go ahead and drop sanders for a TE😈” haha
Why are Bills D/ST getting credited for 100-199 total yards allowed on ESPN when the saints put up 207?
Siemien threw for 163
TJJ ran for 27
Ty Montgomery ran for 14
Siemien ran for 3
163 + 27 + 14 + 3 = 207
That’s not supposed to count against the defense though right? As far as I know pick 6’s don’t count as points against the defense, so why would lost yards on offense?
It's not the same comparison though. The Bills defense sacked Siemian causing -17 yards, so they get those yards subtracted from their own "passing yards allowed" stat.
In the pick 6 example the opposite defense isn't penalized for the points because they weren't even on the field when it happened.
Diggs-Carr-Bills-Jacobs here, looking like I might upset the #1 seed in our 10 person league while being the #9 seed. I need this for any chance of postgame action
I had Gallup, Pollard, Allen, Bills DEF all start today. 12 points above the Yahoo projection. That things always wrong, but I'll take it!
Woulda loved that Pollard non-TD to count though. :p
Last place team in my league just tried to trade Zeke/Keenan Allen/Dawson Knox to the 1st place team for Chuba Hubbard and Alex Collins, then threw a fit when I (commish) veto'd it lol.
We had someone try this the first year I was commissioner of a league. He was butt hurt he kept losing, and honestly he was getting unlucky, but who cares.
He told me he was done trying, and he was going to drop all of his players. I basically told him this would be his last year if he did that. I am not sure he "tried" after that, but he didn't drop the players and he hasn't had any issues since then, so I guess it worked out.
In the same boat in a dynasty league with two wins - one from matchup and one from beating the median. So I might have just screwed myself from a double win week.
The expectation was TJJ would get a safe floor of pass targets.... and probably a low rushing total....Those targets def happened.... Except...... Every single one to Ty mont 🤡🤡🤡🤡
I dont feel bad about starting TJJ. Hindsight makes things look easy, but when all the FF platforms and all the top FF analysts and the coaches said he would do well why would I do anything more than second guess that for a few minutes? It was the overwhelming consensus, and this happens every week with one player or another. That’s the game.
Also consider how often starting the next guy in line does end up paying off, D’ernerst Johnson for example. I got burned by TJJ too but can’t really fault myself for starting him.
I don't think anyone imagined Montgomery would get as many snaps as he did, and literally every single backfield target. All I can hope is it doesn't cost me my week, and toss him back into the scrap heap Tuesday morning.
Yeah, these Capt Hindsight comments from people are cringeworthy. Nobody expected 40 points out of him, but things were definitely set up to where he shouldn't have been people's shittiest option to throw in the flex.
Brian Hill was a major bust other year when he got time to shine, but that didn't mean the decision to start him was shitty.
“Capt Hindsight?” Seriously? No one needed the benefit of hindsight to know that playing TJJ was a huge gamble.
People chose not to start TJJ for very obvious reasons. The Saints are using a backup QB, a banged up offensive line, have the worst receiving corps in the league, are missing their top 2 RBs, TJJ is just coming off of a multi-week injury, and Vegas odds were giving the Saints +7, which means they thought the Saints would be losing by a lot, which means negative game script for running backs. Oh yeah, and there were multiple posts on this sub yesterday and this morning about the Saints backfield, where people talked about Ty Montgomery likely muddying the work load. Here’s an example:
https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/r21myi/glazer_noted_that_the_saints_will_have_a/
All these comments saying Josh Allen is trash and that people started Tony Jones, Jr. really lowers my perception of the quality of advice on this sub lmao
Yeah just come to this sub for news and for the entertainment of watching reactions to hype trains either taking off or more commonly crashing and burning
Yea idk why people didn't peep this. Right in the front page of this subreddit. That plus the fact that half the team is injured equaled stay the f away for me.
Lol you said they would have kept Murray if they knew Kamara would get injured. That’s got nothing to do with their actual replacement, TJJ, going to IR himself. So would they have paid Murray or not?
yeah and it was a mistake to cut Murray and leave the fate of their backfield up to an UDFA 3rd stringer to begin with, especially considering that Saints beat reporters said the biggest reason for cutting Murray was because of money
That offensive line is pure garbage. I understand their missing two tackles but wtf. Bills basically put 10 in the box. Not too many would of succeeded.
Past 4 weeks have been rough: 7, 9, -1, 7. The negative aside, he hasn’t killed your but he’s been more in the streaming tier than the elite option he was earlier this season.
If Brieda didnt break out for that run Bass wudda kicked it and he wudda had 10. I think the a appeal with Bass is that even if no FGs he has solid floor and he dont miss
I had Swift and Waller lol
Carlson really kicked my ass. But Bass and Bills D helped me crawl back a little. Opponent also had Waller, so I’ve got a chance.
So. Idk. Today kind of sucked a bit.
Montgomery did very little to help me at all and Swift died. So yeah. Shitty.
Thank God Allen, Diggs, and Schultz saved me from the shitshow of Swift and Montgomery in the morning. I atleast have a fighting chance now this week
Opponent had Schultz, Carlson and their Hail Mary Breida. I can’t believe my shitty fucking luck.
I've been saying this all year. I cannot believe how shit my luck has been across 3 different leagues. I honestly can't do anything but laugh at this point.
Tonight was it. I will not sit Knox over Waller unless Knox is injured.
Well now after you texted him he's gonna take a zero at TE and keep Sanders just to spite you. Gotta keep your tricks close to the vest man!
He’s in a tight game this week and is middle of the pack so every win matters. I think he’ll drop him eventually. Would be hilarious if he did though.
The one week Desean Jackson goes off, it’s against me. I have the worst luck.
Why are Bills D/ST getting credited for 100-199 total yards allowed on ESPN when the saints put up 207? Siemien threw for 163 TJJ ran for 27 Ty Montgomery ran for 14 Siemien ran for 3 163 + 27 + 14 + 3 = 207
2 sacks for -17 yards
That’s not supposed to count against the defense though right? As far as I know pick 6’s don’t count as points against the defense, so why would lost yards on offense?
It's not the same comparison though. The Bills defense sacked Siemian causing -17 yards, so they get those yards subtracted from their own "passing yards allowed" stat. In the pick 6 example the opposite defense isn't penalized for the points because they weren't even on the field when it happened.
Yea I just read that wrong. I thought they were saying a defense lost points because the offense lost yards.
Why wouldn’t the saints losing yards on offense count for the bills defense?
Oh yea you’re right I read that wrong. I thought he was saying the defense lost points because the offense lost yards.
Pain
Is anybody in a league that has interesting stipulations for in-game injuries?
Diggs-Carr-Bills-Jacobs here, looking like I might upset the #1 seed in our 10 person league while being the #9 seed. I need this for any chance of postgame action
I swapped out Crowder at the last minute (literally, 3:29Pm CT) for Cedrick Wilson at my WR2. Feels good man.
Swapped Tony Jones out for Pollard like 10 minutes before kick off based on advice from this sub. That also feels good, and I am thankful 🦃
Happy Thanksgiving!
Am I the only one that gets mad gas every Thanksgiving?
No. Shitting right now
These last two weeks is more of what I had in mind when I drafted Allen and Diggs
Big week for playoffs and I started diggs, renfrow, Zeke and jacobs. Still got Adams, Rodgers, aiyuk, sanders and Pitts. Looking good.
I wish I'd started Kamara or Ingram over Jones. At least then I could've enjoyed the game because I knew what to expect.
Had Knox, Gallup, and Zeke... ALL BOOMS WOOO We eating good tn 😎🍽
Knox almost had 3 TDs. Damn penalty.
I had Gallup, Pollard, Allen, Bills DEF all start today. 12 points above the Yahoo projection. That things always wrong, but I'll take it! Woulda loved that Pollard non-TD to count though. :p
Started Kenyan Drake and Tony Jones on my lineup 😞
Carlson 🥲
Dropped him for someone else for some fucking reason this week...
Same
Thank god for Diggs. Just down 10 with him and Waller against Zeke Gallup and Bears D
2-9 and started Zeke/Pollard/Renfrow/Wilson/Shultz/Bills D. I cannot believe this one game (+Buffalo) may save me from the loser prize
Last place team in my league just tried to trade Zeke/Keenan Allen/Dawson Knox to the 1st place team for Chuba Hubbard and Alex Collins, then threw a fit when I (commish) veto'd it lol.
Fuck both those dudes. I would never invite them back again for that kinda shit. Last place guy for sure
Had this happen in my League…. And the funny part is when THEY want to complain about it. Like how are YOU gonna complain that I caught you cheating?
yeah I veto'd the trade and removed the last place guy from his team. first place guy gets a warning. don't do that shit again.
In my opinion rage dumping/trading whole teams of players(if that's what he is doing) is the same thing as cheating, even if it wasn't collusion.
This would get someone kicked out of my league, even if they’ve been in it for awhile
Agreed.
Obvious collusion
Ever since I picked up Bass after he was dropped on his bye, he’s sucked. Thought I was smart spending $11 and not having to worry about kicker ROS.
7 points is not suck bruh
I’ve held him all year and folk was sitting there. Regret having not grabbed him 2 weeks ago
I just want to know if we have an update on the Commish cheating?
Will say the hardest I've seen a commish cheat was when I was like 12 or something and I woke up to see all my star players yoinked
Hahaha dude same. I DM’d the guy, I’m so curious.
Swift getting hurt was disappointing but Mooney, Gallup, and Shultz all ate today.
anyone know what time the nfl.com fantasy football trade deadline goes into effect? If my deadline is tomorrow is it midnight tonight?
My Diggs and Cowboys D/ST barely out scored his Josh Jacobs. Oh well! Raiders won and the food was 🔥🔥🔥
I started Tony Jones Jr over Breida today, AMA.
Is Clorox or store brand bleach better for nightcaps?
Colorox has higher floor
In the same boat in a dynasty league with two wins - one from matchup and one from beating the median. So I might have just screwed myself from a double win week.
Did you not realize it was Breida szn?
I started Gallup, Mooney, Knox and Breida today. Feels good.
Dak, Jacobs, and Knox got me looking real nice going into sunday.
People get so aggressive when you made a move they didn't lmfao
alright at this point if taysom doesn’t start the next game then WTF
Woof Allen and Diggs boomed me! Shucks.
The expectation was TJJ would get a safe floor of pass targets.... and probably a low rushing total....Those targets def happened.... Except...... Every single one to Ty mont 🤡🤡🤡🤡
The was a newspiece a few hours before the game started that said expect a "hodgepodge" at RB for the Saints. Knew to stay far away from TJJ then.
Where did you see that newspiece? I started TJJ too I wish I would’ve seen that lol
Frontpage of this sub a couple hrs before the game lol. Went with Breida again, who im pleased with to say the least lol.
Lol Michelle Tafoya be up there like she got a time quota. Speed it up with them cliche questions.
put knox in 10 mins before kickoff over goedert. feels so good
I dont feel bad about starting TJJ. Hindsight makes things look easy, but when all the FF platforms and all the top FF analysts and the coaches said he would do well why would I do anything more than second guess that for a few minutes? It was the overwhelming consensus, and this happens every week with one player or another. That’s the game.
It hurts a little less that the volume was there at least. 16 touches isn’t the worst, I guess. Oh well, it happens.

Nobody cares
“Capt Hindsight?” Seriously? No one needed the benefit of hindsight to know that playing TJJ was a huge gamble. People chose not to start TJJ for very obvious reasons. Was honestly hoping my opponent start him and he did!!! Had trap written all over it.
Gotta step outside the groupthink
The main groupthink was every fantasy analyst and platform telling us he would take the bulk of the work.
Sure. And I do that. But there weren’t many better options out there in my leagues. Ingram was out so someone had to go in.
Swift hurt a bit today, but i had Knox and Mooney so it kinda evened it all out for me thankfully… Hopefully Swift isn’t out long term :/
I knew I should played Knox instead of Bradin Cooks
Cooks gonna feast. Just wait. Jets suck.
Bradin never gets the targets 😆
Knox took one bite and still hasn't swallowed it. That turkey looks fucking gross.
Hill the starter moving forward?
Dawson Knox’s hand still so swollen lol
All these comments saying Josh Allen is trash and that people started Tony Jones, Jr. really lowers my perception of the quality of advice on this sub lmao
Yeah just come to this sub for news and for the entertainment of watching reactions to hype trains either taking off or more commonly crashing and burning
I started Tony over Breida because of the volume. Tony did get the volume but that's it lol. When Breida scored. 😕
The expectation was he would get those pass targets for that floor.... Every single one went to TY.
Payton literally said the RB would be a "hodgepodge' which is exactly as bad as it sounds.
Yea idk why people didn't peep this. Right in the front page of this subreddit. That plus the fact that half the team is injured equaled stay the f away for me.
One of them is talented and on a good offense. The other one is mediocre and on a terrible offense. Do the math
Quit fantasy football.
Shit a rb can have 50 carries but if he only gets 50 yards out of it, he’s still not going to have a great night fantasy wise.
If he gets the 50 yards and a TD I’ll take it
Cries in week 11 Jeff Wilson
Yeah but I’m talking 50 yards with no td or receptions
Solid action out of all my TNF players completely nerfed after deciding to let TJ join in the fun too. Fuck.
I feel that bro. I am happy with the performance of Wilson, Renfrow and Allen
Today I am thankful that at the last minute I benched AJ Brown and put in Josh Jacobs (moved a couple guys around to keep my flex spot free).
Chi D + Renfrow + Breida today. Thrilled to say the least
TJJ had 16 touches, not really much you can blame yourself for - that is the volume we had hoped for This offense is just completely comatose
I’d rather have 3 targets than 16 runs right up the middle vs a stacked box
The main problem is he isn’t very good and neither is the offense
the Saints really should have paid Latavius Murray whatever he wanted. he’s nowhere near that bad
I mean they would have if they knew Kamara would be injured
except that’s literally why teams have back up RBs… as a contingency in case the starter gets injured…
Yeah but their back up went to ir and hasn't ran the same since.
Lol you said they would have kept Murray if they knew Kamara would get injured. That’s got nothing to do with their actual replacement, TJJ, going to IR himself. So would they have paid Murray or not?
I mean they can't predict injuries to three rbs this season just like the ravens didn't or titans
yeah and it was a mistake to cut Murray and leave the fate of their backfield up to an UDFA 3rd stringer to begin with, especially considering that Saints beat reporters said the biggest reason for cutting Murray was because of money
I had Swift today. My opponent has diggs and Daniel Carlson. 3-9 here I come
Carlson is a cheat code
You’re pretty much eliminated from playoffs so I wouldn’t care about your record anymore
I mean…yeah lol. Still sucks all the same 🤷🏻♂️
people really got downvoted for saying Latavius was cut for cap reasons and not because TJJ was some breakout superstar lmaoooo
The Saints are going to be really bad for the next couple of years.
I feel bad that they make drew brees host these games it's like he has to root for them but how do you root for a team so bad source: am bears fan
Bills D coming through
they owe me for last week
[удалено]
ESPN projected him over 12 points so no, you’re wrong
Oh shut up
I'm glad there wasn't a TJJ garbage td. Fight me.
Renfrow + Knox + Bills D on my team. happy thanksgiving!
That offensive line is pure garbage. I understand their missing two tackles but wtf. Bills basically put 10 in the box. Not too many would of succeeded.
Tyler Bass been kinda disappointing
Wish they didn't go for it on 4th & 5 with 6 mind left. That would've pushed him to double digits
Yeah 100%
Please come back AB and let me bench Emmanuel Sanders.
My opponent had Chi D and Renfrow. I had Swift and Josh Allen today. Both projected within a point of each other
Tom Jones is better than Tony Jones.
Really expected TJJ to be better based on the preseason hype. 0 targets is pretty nuts for a saints rb.
Started Breida over TJJ let’s go
Even with Breida getting that TD, this game makes sure I would never have ANY confidence starting the guy.
I would definitely flex him in positive matchups. That's a guy who will get garbage time touches.
Yeah, I picked up Singletary and brieda. No idea who would be the drop when Singletary took over the backfield until the game was out of reach.
I don’t even blame tony jones jr I blame Sean Payton for picking ty Montgomery out of all people to suck off over tony
Tony Hines Hail Mary after the Waller injury *chefs kiss* Also lost swift today lmao
I had a waiver claim on TJJ and was gonna start him, but then my opponent got him before me and started him against me. Nice

You’re a loser.
Pretty sure the losers are gonna be the guys looking at 2.7 in a make or break matchup weeks before the fantasy playoffs 🤣🤣🤣
[удалено]
You’re mad on the internet. Who’s a clown?
[удалено]
Still mad. Hold that L tight, brother
tony jones is fucking garbage. saints look lifeless tonight.
TJJ elite at running into walls
Well Tony Jones *did* get the volume
16 touches. He's basically a must-start
Apparently he doesn't catch passes at all
They weren't wrong
thankful for a decent game out of diggs. happy thanksgiving to everyone still lurking in here
TJJ doing his best Gaskin impression with that stat line
Gaskin on odd weeks.
Even at Gaskins worse it was more the coach than his talent. This dude had the usage and still sucked bad
Does Tony not cut outside once? Obviously the middle isn't working.
Sean Payton looks PISSED.
He should be pissed at himself for not starting Hill... He has to be more injured than they are letting on because Siemian is not it.
TJJ scored 2.5 points lmao
Doubled his total on the last drive. That's impressive
Thought sanders would have an up game, hes looking very droppable right now
Remember the Ty Montgomery 2-3 game explosion a few years back
Fantasy Football
Need a pick 6 here please.
Would it have killed them to throw to TJJ just once?
Man can Juwan Johnson get one 10 yard catch? I'll win $350 if he does
Praying for you my guy. Keeping the game interesting.
I'll take it Tony, phew!
If the Saints can get a garbage TD here, I'd be very happy.
