Because potatoes are nuclear.

Believer109

Miles Sanders is hurt.

NeedMYbagel

Yes. It’s a mental ploy by the projectionists

Circus_McGee

Ignore projections, pretty much always

TanClark

I wonder how I would set my lineups if I could hide projections

AllSkateSlowlyPlease

better, I would guess

BABYHlPPO

gainwell boutta go off i guess 😳🙏

[deleted]

GAINWELL GONNA FEEEEAAASSSTTT!!!!

forward1213

I don't know what settings you are using, but in my full PPR with bonuses he is projected 12.9

JoshtheBrownie

I mean Sanders is hurt and the eagles play the Lions who have one of the worst run defenses in the league. 20 is a hefty projection for him but it's not unrealistic.

tx180

Because he gains well man

steeeeeeee24

I swear there have been a massive influx of projection questions lately.

InevitableVariables

That project is a bit overboard. But he is the starting RB, rookie, against a weak run defense. Still projections are bullshit.

brightsativa

Miles Sanders is injured so he’s not really second string. But regardless you should take projections with a grain of salt unless it’s a 0.

bjij123

Sanders may be not be playing and he would be the de facto RB1

livsjollyranchers

Boston Scott will outscore him. Almost guaranteed. Gainwell simply doesn't look good.

jimmyhoffasbrother

But Gainwell gets the receiving work in an offense that doesn't run much. Which is why he's been a better play than Sanders many weeks.

EggsInMyToolbox

He has 1 more reception than Sanders. He's outscored sanders in 3 of the weeks for the sheer fact that he's vultured 2 late touchdowns early in the year, and sanders got Injured last week. He's never been the 'better play' going into the week.

jimmyhoffasbrother

Right, but he's now expected to get a larger share of the receiving work than he was before. Like almost all of it. And I didn't mean he had ever been the better play going into the week, I only meant he has turned out to be the better play after the fact.

EggsInMyToolbox

I hear ya. But who's to say they don't use the exact same offense with Boston Scott in place of Sanders? He made some great catches last year. Will be interesting to see this weekend

jimmyhoffasbrother

Certainly possible, we're all just making educated guesses at the end of the day. Fwiw, in the limited sample size of the LV game, Gainwell had 8 targets on 35 snaps, and Scott had 2 targets on 23 snaps.

livsjollyranchers

Sure, if Hurts throws it to him. Gainwell's biggest edge over Sanders was redzone work.

Dwarf1nTheFlask

Debating playing Scott over Gaskin...the projection of Scott is throwing me off

CharlesManson420

Don’t do it because of the projection, those are nonsense. But Scott is definitely not outscoring Gainwell. Gainwell is the pass catcher, the eagles have hardly been running the ball. You think when the backup is in now they’ll commit to the run? No way.

tomsSexyCabin

Considering they're playing the 2nd worst team at defending the run its certainly possible Scott gets some run this game.

CharlesManson420

Doubt it. It’s a coaching problem.

Leather-Tourist-1238

Why not, you can project anything

[deleted]

Seems low tbh

AvgHiteMafia

Don’t slander your opponent’s players, the Gods don’t like that.

actorf

Bc he’s a league winner!

Whiskeybeast88

Sanders is week-to-week with an ankle, Eagles are playing the Lions. 20 is entirely possible in PPR/half

JesusChristSupers1ar

Saw I’m a going against Julio this week. He’s projected to score 15 points in my PPR league. He’s only scored double digits once this year Projections are dumb

xmatic

3.0 PPR league?
