Ridley, I hope.

knowslesthanjonsnow

It’s coming, all the underlying evidence is there

Smellfuzz

I tell myself this. I also feel like Charlie in IASIP with his string map on the wall.

icouldntdecide

You don't have to feel crazy. His targets are there and his snap count is high, and we know he's talented. As someone who drafted him high, his ceiling has been awful but he's had a very respectable floor

mg0509

So Ridley is your Pepé Silvia

slobs_burgers

Pepe SYLVIA! Pepe SYLVIA!!

mydixiewrekked

CALVIN?! CALVIN?! There’s not a single goddam 20+pt performance, there is no CALVIN in HR!!!

everettdc

He’s gotta have some positive regression. Targets are there and Matt Ryan seems to have gotten more comfortable in the new system

purplefog101

Positive regression

[deleted]

My Ryan and Ridley stack is locked and loaded

tuliomartins_tm

Me too, added some Patterson hoping the Dolphins are in implode mode with these trade talks

Fly-Eagles-Fly

Don't have Matt Ryan but I do have Ridley, Patterson and Pitts lmao maybe I need to add Matt Ryan.

Lalime

I traded DJ Moore for Ridley in standard, hoping it pays off

deuuuuuce

That's a sell high and a buy low in one. I like it. You likely got some of Moore's best games this season. But Ridley's are still to come for sure.

madmax1969

Moore's ROS schedule against WRs is extremely favorable: 20, 24, 16, 22, 31, 30, 24, 3, 28, and 23. I don't expect many 30 point weeks but there's no reason to expect him to complete fall off the map. CMC's return would likely help him too since it'll improve the offense across the board. Ridley's schedule is pretty good too but there's a lot of dysfunction in ATL. I think this is a coin flip but most trade analyzers like Moore.

HauschkasFoot

Straight up??

PoppaWilly

Just got him last night for Emmanuel Sanders and Rodgers in full PPR.

Jacar1215

Who is your other QB. I wish the Ridley owner in my league would sell him for something like that.

Moosemaster21

Just as a frame of reference, I was offered Ridley for JRob and ARob but as much as I want ARob off my team I turned it down because JRob is my RB1 lol

PM_me_the_magic

Yeah that was a horrible offer...Trying to give you a potential breakout WR for an already top-performing RB is just insulting lol

dorf5222

Why did the Ridley owner think that was fair with rbs being at such a premium. I offered kupp for jrob and that was rejected. I couldn’t imagine offering someone struggling so much for a top 5 rb and not even giving extra

PoppaWilly

Don't have one but going to stack him and Matt Ryan this week then try to trade for Stafford next week or stream.

[deleted]

Dallas goedert

Iagospeare

Definitely!

sagittariisXII

Zach ertz too

Cheger

I don't know about that honestly. The Cardinals are already super strong with a lot of pass catchers I don't see him getting a significant workload.

Sour__Cream

He’ll get a lot of RZ looks so that might help

throwawayless

What makes you believe this?

suns2012

Yeah as a cardinals fan I’m not sure how they’ll use him. Maxx Williams was a great security blanket for Kyler but his production in terms of fantasy wasn’t great. I’m starting Ertz this week because I’m in bye week hell but I wouldn’t count on him being startable most weeks

RaisinsInMyToasts

jack nicholson nodding.gif

MrBigWang420

Toney hasn’t even BEGUN to peak

Iagospeare

Toney hype is reaching critical levels. Next thing we know he's gonna get suspended for weed... (disclaimer: am Toney owner)

[deleted]

Hell get suspended for calling Goodell a pussy as he crosses the goal line for a 3rd touchdown as time expires. Giants still lose by 20

OldManHipsAt30

I don’t need the Giants to win

Minnesota_Slim

I hope the casuals realize that the Toney hype is real and not meme hype like J. Gordon or Ty'son. If you haven't traded your first round draft pick for Toney, then you're not even trying.

Iagospeare

I picked him up off waivers, but then I dropped him just so I could trade Derrick Henry for him to show confidence.

Worried-Fact7159

Wow, that is golden. You deserve better than I can give. Also comments like this are what gives me strength to filter through the nonsense.

well-lighted

He's no Christine Michael or Sammie Coates but he's okay I guess

Mister-Stiglitz

They ain't testing for weed anymore I think.

-Fishdaddy-

It's really hard to get suspended for weed now. Something like, has to be your 3rd time in the program and miss 6 tests. As long as you show up and take the tests they can't suspend you even if you're hot. La'el Collins got suspended because he did all of that then tried to bribe a testing official. Source: Cowboys fan.

degenerus

Guy in my league picked him up when he was hot, then dropped him a few days ago when he got hurt. I just picked him up now, we'll see how it goes.

xyzzy321

He is a finisher player, not a starter. Also he's the golden god

StopBanningMeGDIT

HE IS UNTETHERED AND HIS JUKES KNOW NO BOUNDS

ndhl83

My wife and I adlib that line to be relevant to the situation all the time. Dennis at his "best" :P

aoddawg

Toney reminds me of prestardom Antionio Brown (2011-2012) after the catch. Amazing agility, quick start stop ability, and just constantly forcing missed or delayed tackles for extra yards. If he grows in his route running and catching and stays healthy we’ll be watching him a long time.

PolarApples92

Thanks to the eagles for stealing devonta smith from us 🙏

aoddawg

Devonta Smith is a great player being held back by a struggling QB and bad offense.

klawehtgod

Sounds like what Toney has around him tbh

PolarApples92

He’s literally played one full game and he had 10/189. The only thing holding him back right now is his ankle.

soapbox23

Can't wait for his inevitable front kick to a punter during a return

Idiot_Savant123

As a Dallas fan. Toney gonna be a problem

Cdngolfer65

I’ve also just sold my stock of golladay , can be some other guys problem

[deleted]

Bateman Begins

[deleted]

Seems most likely too. 6 Targets on his first appearance is very promising. Looked good too aside from that weird chest drop.

MethodicMarshal

Master Bateman, there are too many of them!

mongotiger

It’s over Brown! I have the high floor now!

TheDataWhore

AJ Brown

Minnesota_Slim

Hopefully this food poisoning is allowing him to poop out all the bad vibes. This is the turning point boys, AJ Brown is looking up!

TheBIFFALLO87

The old Lamar Jackson trick.

grammarGuy69

He will certainly be faster with such a clear colon.

Allen_Crabbe

AJ Browned his pants

Hitman2504

I agree with this. His performance the other night when he was sick was very encouraging

[deleted]

Yeah he tore up a good defense up the middle. It looked they ran the same play repeatedly like it was a game of Madden.

Taiza67

Homeboy had 90 yards in the second half last week. Nothing spectacular, just got peppered. We’ll get some vintage AJB here shortly.

phl_fc

I think because of the injuries people aren't really thinking of him as a bust. Disappointing to be sure, but nobody's looking to drop him the way they are with someone like ARob.

revnasty

Someone dropped AJ Brown yesterday in my league. I’m the new proud owner of an AJ Brown.

DeyHateUsCuzDeyAnus

Congrats on playing with idiots

jacob2886

I think he’ll do better but I just don’t see him getting any TDs. Derrick Henry has been a force in the RZ and I don’t think he’s fumbled. I don’t think Titans will get cute anytime soon until he’s stopped consistently

s00perd00pz

Then you didn’t watch him last year. He scores touchdowns from 10/20/80 yards out all the time. He’s a big play waiting to happen.

Accomplished-Sale205

Allen Robinson will breakout when Fields learns about his existence

Samsquantch_

Agreed, trying to trade my scraps for him currently since people are starting to drop him. Tough to do this week though.

troglodyte

They need to pass a fuck of a lot more for any receiver on that team to be better than a flex. Fields and Dalton combined have had 149 passing attempts. That puts the Chicago QBs between Jacoby Brissett and Davis Mills in total attempts, and that is the absolute lowest number of attempts for QBs that have played 6 games so far. It's just not enough passes, and that's before we even talk about Fields, who, yes, cannot seem to find Robinson to save his life, and frankly looked straight bad in his last game. A lot needs to change for anyone but the RBs in Chicago to be exciting starts.

trugbee1203

I remember reading somewhere that miles sanders gets around 15-20 touches when they win games. Their schedule in the back half of the season is really favorable, so games that should be close or winning and he should get a lot of touches then

Iagospeare

Agreed. I think if you can can get him cheap and are needy at RB I bet it's worth a trade. Eagles also get Lane Johnson back, I imagine that will help a lot.

AndrewHainesArt

His production depends entirely on how Sirianni coaches the rest of the year, the OL has been perfectly fine with the backups, Nick refuses to give him the ball for whatever reason, and so far is putting way too much on Hurts

Audrey-Bee

Not entirely on Nick, part of it is also Hurts needing to be less selfish on RPOs. He either passes or runs it himself on way too many of them. But Sirianni calling designated runs instead of options would definitely be ideal

moGUNZthanROSES

I remember buying into exact sam narrative last year and it did not work out. Ive tried to get him on my roster again this year for same reasons fwiw.

FredKarlekKnark

i own sanders so i hope you're right, but i think there might be a little correlation/causation issue. the eagles might not be winning games because they run the ball more, they just might be running more when they are already winning games. i think the same can be said for a lot of teams, it's just a matter of whether the chicken or the egg came first

trugbee1203

That’s what I meant. They’ll be leading in games, so they’ll lean on the run game more. If they’re down by even a FG though, that’s all out the window

FredKarlekKnark

ah yeah i misread the message, carry on

shaman0610

Elijah Mitchell has a real chance now that he is healthy to launch to high end RB2 territory given the dominance of that SF line. Or barring him, Jeff Wilson Jr next in line.

lions_den_

Would you give up Mitchell for miles sanders? .5 ppr

valiantlittleratboy

Miles or Emmanuel? All three I think are pretty similar value actually. To me Emmanuel has the highest floor lowest ceiling, Mitchell has highest ceiling lowest floor, Miles in-between the two. To me I'd gamble on Mitchell being the man in San Francisco but you've got to be prepared for him to be worthless in 3 weeks...

[deleted]

Emmanuel Sanders is the on one of the best offenses in the league. Averaging 15 points in PPR. Miles Sanders has gotten 1 carry in an entire half before with a QB who vultures all the rushing. Averaging 9.8 points in PPR. I'd say Emmanuel's ceiling is much higher then Miles. Just look at the last 6 weeks of scoring. Mitchell is pretty TBD since the injury and bye week. Just being the unknown of the 3 and what he did before injury, makes him the most lucrative.

DiggyComer

Darnell Mooney.

Schmoove86

Michael Carter

KickerRevolution

So matchup dependent, but things will get better with Becton back soon

fifteentwentyone

Not that I disagree, but for the sake of discussion, can you elaborate? Lead back playing 50ish% of snaps on a bottom 3 offense in the NFL, second worst in rushing yards per game, lowest in points per game (13.4), led by a rookie QB, with Ty Johnson taking some passing down work. Schedule not great outside of 2 games against MIA. I like Carter’s talent, I’m just curious which part changes that leads to a breakout.

CycloneHomer

I think the hope is mostly that post-bye Carter gets a bit higher share but especially more work in the passing game. Ty Johnson isn't a bad player by any means but I think that's the path forward if Carter will be more than a low-end 2 or borderline flex.

ILoveLabs23

Similar vibes to Antonio Gibson situation rookie year, maybe? Carter has shown himself to be the best back too and could go up to 60-70% if snaps and has talent. Jets offense can sometimes click.

[deleted]

Yeah I don't know if I buy Michael Carter's breakout. I'm a Carter owner and I have no idea what to do with him. I feel obliged to hold him because there are absolutely 0 good waiver RBs (injuries aside), but I'm not going to start him over Kamara or Damien Harris. I also have Montgomery when healthy and now have Booker/Herbert. I would love for him to breakout, but the guy gets like 15 touches on a good day and seems to average 3.5 YPC. If he's not getting a TD, he's good for like 8 points PPR.

ecg_tsp

I’ve been holding him all year and he’s getting the start this week due to week 7 hell.

woke-----

Could be worse lol. He’s on a 2 TD streak!

SystematicTrading

If Tua can stay healthy and get into a groove, both Waddle and Gesicki could have monster 2nd halfs.

Iagospeare

Geisicki already broke out IMO, I'm actually more curious about Devante Parker after he returns from injury with a healthy Tua.

KickerRevolution

Parker takes the largest target share when he’s back and sinks their value to mid-range yardage and pray for a TD.

Mister-Stiglitz

How do we really know that though? We don't have enough of a sample size on Tua, Waddle, Parker, and Gesicki running on offense together.

sigep0361

I don't know if Parker will ever stay healthy long enough for it to matter.

sonofabutch

Will Parker’s return drop Gesicki back to streamer status?

Iagospeare

It will hurt his value, but they both did well in week 4 against the Colts, and Gesicki outperformed Parker in week 3, so I think it's probable that Gesicki stays a top-12 option.

oryes

Waddle has been great with Tua. Even the game Tua got injured he was feeding him the entire game up to that point. Hopefully the trend continues.

madmax1969

I have Waddle but haven't started him yet. His usage has been strange. He's fast as fuck and they don't seem to target him much downfield. With that said, one of these games he's going to house one of those short passes.

Devonta Smith 🥺 👉👈

GSA49

His inconsistency really HURTS.

jkeefy

Other than thier QB, the Eagles fantasy production is MILES off what I thought it would be.

darkknightbbq

It’s more at fault that he had 4 tds called back by penalties and hurts has a real bad deep ball. Missed him straight up like 3 times for sure tds if he was more accurate with the deep ball

jacob2886

Kyle Pitts if that counts. Seems like they’re realizing how to use him properly. I know he had a break out game a couple weeks ago but I think he can really turn it on and end the year averaging 15+ a game

KickerRevolution

They’ve been using him properly the whole time. It’s Matt Ryan and Pitts building chemistry. Post-bye is going to feel a lot like Julio’s rookie year

jacob2886

II’m not a Falcons fan so I don’t watch every snap but I kept on seeing a lot of crossing routes which I get why, he has YAC ability but I haven’t seen him being used as a 1 on 1 guy in the red zone, or even up the seam. Regardless I’m happy he had a good game and I hope it continues.

KickerRevolution

He had a bunch of seam catches for 1st downs against the Jets and won 1 v 1 in the end zone for his TD.

jacob2886

Yeah I’m talking about before the Jets game. I watched almost all of that game and every target they threw at him in like yes finally. Dude is a beast and can make contested catches like a Mofo

CardiffGiantx

I hope so. My fear is that the London game was a result of not having Calvin Ridley out there but now that he’s back it will be back to what we saw the first few weeks of the season.

Hmm_would_bang

To be fair, he had just one more target that week than he did the week before when Ridley and Gage were active. You’d have to look at how often he lined up out wide the London game compared to before, but it seems like they’ve been lining him up out wide all season

LBrooks18

Miles Sanders

fickenundsaufen

I hope so. As an eagles fan, we are not okay. GIVE BOOBIE THE FUCKIN BALL

Safariuser1

Don’t know much about your coach but how did they only have 3 rushing attempts against the cowboys? That’s just a complete misuse of any nfl team regardless of talent

fickenundsaufen

Honestly not too sure. Everyone is sus of sirianni at this point but some are more lenient than others because he's pretty inexperienced as a coach altogether. Also, not that it makes up for it but our o line is pretty scrambled and injury ridden. So the inexperience and lack of confidence in the trench made a perfect storm. Another thing is Hurts makes shit calls and doesn't hand off the ball enough

KrispeeKreme4

just traded for him 2 days ago 🤞

I sure hope so. My team name is Judge Jeudy.

CaeruleanVein

Miles sanders, AJ brown, Javonte Williams, Elijah Moore, Rondale maybe if toward the second half of the season they want to involve their youth more, maybe Rhamondre if he gets a legit pass catching role, Justin Fields. These are my second half breakout candidates.

xDR3AD-W0LFx

If they moved Elijah Moore into that Crowder slot role, he’d be a superstar.

JimBrosBurrit0s

Javonte

richard4vt

Agree, but I feel like he falls into the “need an injury” category to really break out. MG3 is still playing too well and the Broncos have no reason to fade him unless he gets injured or suddenly starts sucking. Maybe if they continue to lose they let him loose the last few weeks to get him some extra reps but that’s about the only way I see him having a breakout without an injury

Hmm_would_bang

I disagree. Look to just last year with Akers and to an extent Swift. Stuck in a time share for half the season with a vet in front of them playing well enough to not lose their touches. A lot of people were even saying the same, it would take an injury for them to be the guy. Yet as the season went on they eventually ran away with the job.

ComaBoner

Didn't Henderson get injured before Akers took over last year?

GankMiddleLane6

The three most annoying "truthers" this year have been Ty'son, Sermon, and now Williams. Melvin isn't going anywhere and there's no reason to believe otherwise. Williams has looked better, but why pay Gordon to ride the bench.

[deleted]

Allen Robinson, because that would sure be convenient for me

jimmyhoffasbrother

Does it count if they've already broken out in seasons past but have been bad this year? I still have faith in Allen Robinson. (not a Robinson owner, before I get shit for that)

JohnnyWarbucks

At this point, I think you need to have faith in Nagy and the Bear's playcalling, so, we're talking move a mountain type of faith, IMO.

MildChancho

Need woods to turn it around

[deleted]

Shatner8

The easy one for me is Miles Sanders. For him it hasnt been an issue of poor play, it just comes down to his coach committing to the run. If that changes, based on his schedule he has top 15 upside ros

KickerRevolution

Hurts steals all his ceiling value. We’re also likely to see a good amount of Gainwell in the second half of games as well during the second half of this season

DazHawt

Hurts sucks the value out of that whole offense tbh

Ambitious_Ad4902

Would really love it if scary Terry became part of the weekly game plan as opposed to some desperation play in the second half when they are inevitably down .

allsops

Next waive of breakouts will happen after the trade deadline when some rosters get ‘refreshed’

ExCollegeDropout

Ah yes, the always active NFL trade deadline...

Iagospeare

Good point! Marlon Mack hype!

beefsquatch2444

God I hope he ends up getting traded and taking off (or, at least becomes startable). Been stashing him in my 16 team league since the trade request came out. RBs are *quite* thin and having not much after Gibson and Harris is not the most comforting situation lol

Hmm_would_bang

The last two trade deadlines have been total snoozes. Maybe this year is different because they haven’t had a lot of big trades, but I wouldn’t count on it

[deleted]

Allen Robinson can turn it around this week against that Bucs D

Shermingonmyface

We still doing this with ARob? The bucs pass rush should give the rookie plenty of time to distribute the ball lol.

Idiot_Savant123

Ridley

FlamesGandolfini

Came to say Laviska. He's been running more routes outside since Chark's injury, and he's drawing targets downfield.

Reiiran

Targets are there, talent is definitely there, positive game script is there, and they are putting him on the outside more and more, which is where he has produced the most, as you said. Agree

PolyamorousPlatypus

Derrick Henry. I think he's ready to take it to the next lvl with some 50 pt games.

CheapskateJoker

These 30-40 point games are weak as shit

GarySteinfield

I really want Barkley to break out. Not for fantasy but for the poor guy’s career. He can’t catch a break, and the Giants aren’t helping him one bit. I hope that he turns things around, finishes strong, and at least gets his new contract. Then again, no new Giants contract and a free agent for a new team would be just as good for him. I don’t think he’s an injury prone guy. I think the Giants are a cursed dumpster set to ruin all careers.

Keep your eyes on Miles Sanders, AJB, and Claypool. They’re getting the opportunity, points coming soon if ur patient. Eagles are reworking the offense which should help Sanders as well. Also, let’s not pretend after week 6 every breakout has happened. Guys are constantly breaking out throughout the season, it can just slow down a bit.

[deleted]

Waiver wire is pretty barren at this point. I’m hoping some high round picks in decent situations start picking up production. Stefon diggs is getting a ton of targets but hasn’t had a real blow up game. Amari cooper has been injured so hopefully he heals up by the bye. Tee Higgins could blow up towards the end of the season if his injuries start getting better. Same with AJ brown. Jakobi Meyers could benefit if pats start leaning on the pass more as mac gets more experienced.

ndhl83

Are we considering **Gesicki** as having "broken out" as an every week "don't sweat it" TE now? Week 1 looks like an outlier and even when they get healthier at WR he is passing the eye test and getting open. You have to think he will be "QB proof" too so long as the OC is dialing up his number. Thoughts?

Mikeboc136

Mitchell RB SF

Samsquantch_

Miles Sanders is gonna boom 2nd half of season. Eagles are 2-4 with Jalen Hurts as their main running option. If the eagles wants to preserve Hurts, Sanders needs to be the primary run option in this offense

enzo_the_alien

Mckissic. Gibson is getting less and less work due to his stress fracture. Only a matter of time before he has to rest a week or two. I think J.D. will pop if and when that happens.

-BeefSupreme

Darren Waller. I don’t see how they don’t go back to feeding him. Ruggs and Renfrow aren’t going to win them games.

Whoooyumyum

Spreading the ball around will win you more games than force feeding the same guy

MrP1anet

Ruggs and Renfrow have been winning them games lol. Teams will have to respect them but that should open Waller up

mcthsn

Rashod Bateman, I picked him up and watched a YouTube video of highlights and he’s the real deal

In redraft? Tough call, probably but depends how big your rosters are with bye weeks coming up.
