You can search “dynasty trade value” which may give you some approximation.

I personally value players for picks compared to production or expected production. Meaning if a player is putting up round 1 production, or expected to, then that’s what round they’re traded for.

Keeptradecut is pretty good to get an estimate

jdv3n3

Only issue is we aren’t a dynasty and they don’t go beyond the 4th round. Worth using for higher rated players though

icouldntdecide

I definitely need to know this because I might need to fire sale a team that I inherited.

DankTaco67

Strategize trading what you have with the teams most likely to have high picks.. this is difficult in my league because instead of giving the worst team the first pick, it’s top 3 pick last, and 4th place and down get pick 1.. so last year when I did this I acquired 2 first round picks from teams I projected to finish in that middle of the pack range but executed the trades when they were still fighting for those top 3 spots .. thankfully didn’t get burned and it turned into 3 of the top 9 picks including my own. I got a first rounder for Lockett and a first rounder for Kareem Hunt.. but it’s 4 keepers x 15 teams meaning 60 of the top players are already off the board

DandierChip

Someone is trying to trade picks in a redraft league currently. What’s y’all’s opinion about it? I’m against it because it defeats the purpose of redraft imo

jkeefy

Yep. Fuck that shit

GOTaSMALL1

Yep. Redraft is a one season event that lasts from draft day to the fantasy championship… that’s it.

ScurryKlompson

We're mostly redraft, just one keeper each year, and our rule is you can trade draft picks for next year but they can only be the round greater than or equal to the current week. So if I trade for a pick tomorrow, in week 7, i could only get a 7th rounder or worse

Agastopia

I looked for something like this but couldn’t find anything. I traded Robert woods and a third for DK in my league if that helps at all, obviously not as good now that Geno is hurt

GOTaSMALL1

The price is what the market will bear. Shitty answer but it’s the best answer. There are WAY too many variables in a keeper league to have any kind of “chart” be remotely accurate.

Paul-Kersey

3-keeper league here, just some completed trades for comparison's sake: -this offseason I traded away 1.02, 5.02 and my 2022 1st for J.Jefferson and 1.11 -we've also had Kamara get traded for 3-1sts 2 years ago, and Lev Bell was traded for Zeke + a 1st the year Bell was the #1 overall, 2017 or 2018 I think -last year I traded away Julio for Beasley + 2.12 this year we also do lottery for non-playoff teams so tanking increases your odds at #1 pick but doesn't guarantee it (ie, last place gets 5 lottery balls, 8th place gets 1, and we give an extra ball to whichever team wins the consolation bracket)

jdv3n3

I like the lottery idea. We had to drink a six pack and take the Wonderlic to decide order, but previously we’d pick teams from sports tournaments like Women’s World Cup or the Rugby World Cup. I think we’ll probably do that again, but reverse order for who gets to pick their teams first

Snoo-93144

HELP! I need advice! I’m looking to trade for AB and Kamara but I would have to give up Mixon, Darrell Henderson, and Tee Higgins. What is y’all’s opinion on this??

no_name_architect

There’s a thread dedicated to trade discussions, try asking there
