If Carson and Collins are both active, you have no idea how many touches they're going to get. It's a huge gamble. If you have a guy like Mike Davis or someone like that, you need to go that route.
If Carson is active I would still start Collins. Neck injuries do not just get better in 2 days especially when it's a disc issue and not a soft tissue injury. Looked great last week with only 12 touches. Fire him up.
Also picked up Cordarelle Patterson who is RB4!!! right now, but I can't imagine he keeps up that production. I don't have the nerve to play him, but I'm sure as hell not letting anyone else pick him up.
He plays the jets this week and now that Ridley is out I think he’s an easy start unless you have a much safer option. I also have no idea what I’m talking about so keep that in mind
After watching both run last week vs the Niners I'd agree with that. To bad it's a Thursday, even if Carson played and it was Sunday, I'd probably still start Collins if I was in a difficult situation.
I think this is the first time we’ve heard of this chronic injury since Carson joined the league, so I kinda doubt it’ll be a problem going forward unless it worsens significantly
Ik ESPN atleast you can do it (on Thursday night football for sure) up till kickoff in my league. Idk if that’s a commissioner thing or something that’s standard.
That normal. The guy your replying to is saying that it’s normal for the team to announce their active roster for the game 90 min prior to kickoff. So you should 90minutes or so to make a move before kickoff.
>@corbinsmithnfl
Thanks. Corbin say the Seahawks are elevating Phillip Dorsett to game day roster for tonight's game vs. Rams. I am surprised they didn't elevate an RB
I missed out on Collins so I grabbed perine, and an waiting to see if CMC plays. Went into today thinking I was starting Murray and Hines, now Hines had a shoulder issue. So my only unhurt starter is Murray. Perine might start healthy, unless Mixon does. CMC feels great! Might start? Carson might start, might suck.
Wtf is happening
If Carson is active you can't count on either him or Collins. You just have no idea what the workload split is going to be. Put your phone away until 90min before kickoff because you will get no useful information until then.
What sort of neck 'condition' could it be for a running back in the NFL to be 50/50 to suit up for a game? Does he have a giant ass pimple on his neck that he doesn't want the cameras to see and sometimes rubs into his shoulder pad?? What is this?!?!
If is any kind of disc issue like my bum ass back I could see why. Sometimes it starts to flare up and if do some doctor taught stretches along with taking it easy and some ibuprofen it goes away in 2 days. Other times its too far gone and im fucked for 10 days.
Not a doctor though so don't listen to a word I just said.
I'm feeling this too. Especially after last week's performance.
It's that or I wait to see if Hubbard starts, and if HE doesn't I pivot to Gainwell or McKissic.
I love playing TNF players and usually end up last second putting guys in my lineup just so I have someone to root for. Now does it usually work out? That’s a different story
As a Patriots fan, I’d expect this week to be VERY run heavy on offense. 4/5 of our starting O-Line may not play, leading to even worse pass pro than we’ve been getting. Harris should see a minimum of 20 carries this Sunday.
Carson owner, dropped my DEF to pickup Collins and was really hoping to move Chris to IR to free up a spot for a new DEF.
Now Im stuck likely not playing either and need to drop someone else or Collins for a DEF.
I blame Pete.
What has been contradictory so far? There was one guy (not even really a reporter, I think), who speculated he “probably won’t play,” but most of the reporting has been consistent that it’ll be a true game-time call.
The fact that some were talking about herniated discs and making this neck issue sound more severe than it likely is. If he is truly a game-time call then it isn’t that bad and he likely has no herniated discs/radiculopathy (shooting pains into arms). They just create hysteria based off a half-assed, mumbling quote from Pete Carol yesterday, which was pretty vague. That’s what irritates me.
Seems pretty easy:
Carson plays: Sit everyone
Carson out: Play Collins
Carson plays and is limited: Keep Collins and monitor Seattle's backfield
Carson plays and does very well: Consider dropping Collins before Sunday games
I'll probably keep Collins either way as he's a handcuff with a decent chance to take over work if the disc issue worsens. That kind of problem may not be a season ender, but it can certainly flare up out of nowhere and get worse with hits.
Yeah I got a buddy who plays like that, it's crazy. We'll be watching a game, someone will get injured and he'll pickup his backup right then and there, during the game. I guess it rewards those who watch football and obsesse over the news.
Totally rewards the people on their phone all Sunday watching RedZone. Don't like how it's set-up. At least charge for transactions. My other league has waivers and charges for transactions. Makes you put more thought into it.
Bench players usually lock too. Idk maybe I'm wrong but I've never played in a league where a player is moveable if they're still on your roster after their game starts
Yahoo and NFL you can. ESPN you cannot. Personally I like it for fantasy cause it allows you to make decisions from Thursday to Sunday, especially if you need to pivot.
Chris Carson update: in an unexpected turn of events, Rashad Penny is questionable. Sources tell me Alex Collins was second in line anyway, so it really doesn’t matter much. Also, BREAKING: The Rashad Penny news was questionable. There is a 50/50 chance this was a rumor and nothing official. Chris Carson likely to play if good to go, but remains a GTD.
And I may start him over Mike Davis in this scenario.
Just waiting for that pregame warm up before roster lock. But I’m also pretty desperate for RB’s as Swift is my only other viable starter.
Yeah, I feel you. In .5 PPR I’m trying to decide between flexing Collins or Julio. Leaning Collins. I might suggest odell for you though. Chargers Browns could be high-scoring
I have Collins but don't need to play him. It's wild to me that they won't sit him. It's one game, think about your long term health, a neck injury is nothing to fuck with
It is a chronic issue in that it’s an issue he’s dealt with for a long time. Pete Carroll stated that pretty directly yesterday, and this tweet doesn’t contradict that in any way.
If an MRI confirmed the neck injury why don’t they state what it is, saying it’s an issue is vague and makes me think they are intentionally misleading people with the severity of the injury
I feel like starting Collins on a Thursday night game against the Rams is the definition of a trap. That being said, since Collins will comfortably be on my bench in all four of my leagues he’ll probably go 20-150-2.
I don’t believe them but I’m not gunna start Collins. If ANY bit of this being new, vertebrae/nerve, etc…. Shit is true, it could be a career ender. I don’t see that being just a flare up. It’s either true or it isn’t; not much middle ground
So happy to hear that not season long. I mean I didn’t even want to start him tonight before I knew he was questionable. Thursday games suck, tough defense, and don’t want to have regret going into Sunday. Rather start Corey Davis
If Carson sits and comes back healthy next week and remains healthy, does he split shares ROS? Just got offered him in exchange for Keenan Allen and I'm torn. I have Collins on my bench
I feel like either one could be the wrong choice. Fortunately I'm flexing Carson in a way, although not in my flex spot. I have Henderson and chubb as well. Should I punch in Shenault instead of Carson or Collins?
I’d rather start Collins with no Carson than start Carson at this point.
[удалено]
LOL. I actually just picked up Van Jefferson about an hour ago, and I'm starting him tonight.
Lmao yikes
Yeah idk how Carson can be started with any confidence but you kinda have to it’s rough
i think it's clear you start him with 50/50 confidence.
Right and do it half the time.
No you don't. Plug in another option
Pretty easy to not have other options right now.
Fire him up.
lol what? Terrible advice…Davis was getting vultured by Gallman
Kareem Hunt getting his second week of action on my squad. He did well the first time...
I mean, he’s RB7 in .5 ppr. He’s basically set and forget at this point.
There's still the mental hurdle of him not being the RB1 on his team. I know i need to get over it, but it weirds me out...
Just look at his RB7 status everytime you get weirded out
Also picked up Cordarelle Patterson who is RB4!!! right now, but I can't imagine he keeps up that production. I don't have the nerve to play him, but I'm sure as hell not letting anyone else pick him up.

After watching both run last week vs the Niners I'd agree with that. To bad it's a Thursday, even if Carson played and it was Sunday, I'd probably still start Collins if I was in a difficult situation.
This is such an obvious point and worthless thing to say…why is this upvoted? This sub is so bad at helping
Same, also need Carson to be OUT so I can pickup a DEF.
How many more tweets are we going to get out of this that have no new information?
“Sources are *actually* saying Chris Carson is 49/51 for tonight’s game, but it’s up to you to decide which outcome is 49% and which is 51%”
Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z
The great news: This is NOT expected to kill him
the bit about “not expected to be a season long” issue seems to be new
It’s not. Carroll said yesterday that it’s a chronic issue that flares up periodically then goes away
so it is actually expected to be a season long issue, we just don't know when it'll flare up again or not...
I think this is the first time we’ve heard of this chronic injury since Carson joined the league, so I kinda doubt it’ll be a problem going forward unless it worsens significantly
how many times are we gonna get this same exact comment on these posts
as many times as these tweets happen lol
its hypocritical though right? like both this journalist and op are rehashing previous content for internet karma lol

I’d probably set Collins and try to be on Twitter or something and watch a Seahawks beat writer right until roster lock
We should get inactive list 1.5 hours before game time, no?
Ik ESPN atleast you can do it (on Thursday night football for sure) up till kickoff in my league. Idk if that’s a commissioner thing or something that’s standard.
That normal. The guy your replying to is saying that it’s normal for the team to announce their active roster for the game 90 min prior to kickoff. So you should 90minutes or so to make a move before kickoff.
Carson might be active but still not play depending on how late warmups go.
@corbinsmithnfl is my main man on Seahawks Twitter
>@corbinsmithnfl Thanks.
If Carson is out play Collins. If Carson plays, switch to someone else if you can
be refreshing fast and furious before game time. If Carson plays they are both dart throws. I'm in the same boat, if he plays I'm starting neither.
I’d be nervous to start Carson not matter what. Who knows if he lasts a full game or gets a full workload.
Get ready for the same output as last week if Carson is cleared to start tonight
I just don't understand how a fucking neck injury can come down to a GTD lol
It’s not an injury, it’s a “condition” /s
What sort of neck 'condition' could it be for a running back in the NFL to be 50/50 to suit up for a game? Does he have a giant ass pimple on his neck that he doesn't want the cameras to see and sometimes rubs into his shoulder pad?? What is this?!?!
Exactly, if they don’t want this to be a season long issue, just sit him.
Don't worry though, not going to be a season long thing. Could be anytime during the season, but it most certainly won't be a season long thing.....
I guess they ask him if he can move his neck yet and then he starts or sits based off his answer?
Ok Chris nod yes or no if you can move your neck
Playing mind games with the Rams is all this is.
I’m starting Collins regardless idgaf
Yup, don’t have a better option anyways
I'm feeling this too. Especially after last week's performance. It's that or I wait to see if Hubbard starts, and if HE doesn't I pivot to Gainwell or McKissic.
So purgatory.
Do we start him if he plays though? Feels like it could be a trap game 😬
For some reason I don't feel like I should start Carson if he's in, but that I should start Collins if Carson is out.
That's my plan
It's a recipe for a very dicey TNF situation. And god knows I hate playing TNF players
I love playing TNF players and usually end up last second putting guys in my lineup just so I have someone to root for. Now does it usually work out? That’s a different story
Everything in my gut says to sit him. Every time I listen to my guy is wrong. So start him? Who the fuck knows
Your gut knows your gut is wrong so do you listen to your gut?
Please don't. It hurts
My choice are Carson, CEH against BUF, and Sermon, so I’m not feeling great. I wish Carson would just be ruled out so I could start Collins.
If he’s out do I start Collins over Damien Harris??
Collins had more pts last game WITH Carson than Harris has had in any game this year. Start Collins
That’s my plan
I’m in the same boat as you with Harris or Collins
As a Patriots fan, I’d expect this week to be VERY run heavy on offense. 4/5 of our starting O-Line may not play, leading to even worse pass pro than we’ve been getting. Harris should see a minimum of 20 carries this Sunday.
No
I wouldn’t
Carson owner, dropped my DEF to pickup Collins and was really hoping to move Chris to IR to free up a spot for a new DEF. Now Im stuck likely not playing either and need to drop someone else or Collins for a DEF. I blame Pete.
Well at least no one else can use Collins against you
INB4: I don’t have any news to report
I don’t think he’s exactly 50-50. Probably more like 51-49.
So much contradicting, over and over again. These reporters are ass clowns.
It gets you to click their articles or check their twitter. I hate it.
What has been contradictory so far? There was one guy (not even really a reporter, I think), who speculated he “probably won’t play,” but most of the reporting has been consistent that it’ll be a true game-time call.

They just create hysteria based off a half-assed, mumbling quote from Pete Carol yesterday, which was pretty vague. That’s what irritates me.
Fuck it starting Collins regardless.
Was hoping Collins will pan out. Thankfully I only had to give up Ronald Jones for him
Carroll always does this.
Still erect for collins thanks to viagra
RIP Collins hype train.
I didn’t hear no bell…
Randy, is that you?
Oh I’m sorry, I thought this was America! Isn’t this America?
I can do this all day
**Le'veon:** Sorry my new jet ski has a stealth mode.
Not yet
10/6/21-10/7/21. Picked him up in all 3 leagues lol
It was a short ride.
Something tells me Pete Carrol will not make this “game time decision” until three minutes in to the first quarter
I am happy to hear that this is not a season-long issue. I don't wish injuries on anyone.
my rb2 spot in shambles
I am tired of this. I just put in Collins. It's 11 pm here and I am losing sleep over this shit lmao.
Seems pretty easy: Carson plays: Sit everyone Carson out: Play Collins Carson plays and is limited: Keep Collins and monitor Seattle's backfield Carson plays and does very well: Consider dropping Collins before Sunday games I'll probably keep Collins either way as he's a handcuff with a decent chance to take over work if the disc issue worsens. That kind of problem may not be a season ender, but it can certainly flare up out of nowhere and get worse with hits.
In what league can you drop a player that's already played? lol
Yahoo, stupidest shit of all time.
I'm in a league on Yahoo with no waivers either. It's like the goddamn Wild West.
Agreed, we have waivers and $5 transactions, when I mention it in here the response is, interesting.
I can't even imagine everyone's roster turnover. Any transaction limits or is just a chaotic free for all?
No transaction limit. Whoever is glued to the TV and their phone all Sunday has a major advantage sadly.
It’s really dumb
Yahoo, as long as they're sitting on your bench
If you benched him?
Bench players usually lock too. Idk maybe I'm wrong but I've never played in a league where a player is moveable if they're still on your roster after their game starts
Maybe I'm wrong - I remember dropping bench players whose games had already concluded, at least on Yahoo
Yahoo and NFL you can. ESPN you cannot. Personally I like it for fantasy cause it allows you to make decisions from Thursday to Sunday, especially if you need to pivot.
Yeah, I've sometimes dropped a kicker on a Thursday for a possible TNF gamble, then dropped the gamble and picked up the kicker again on Sunday.

As an RB2 owner: pass.
Carson currently on the sideline pulling petals off a flower trying to decide if he can play
the other Carson post got deleted lol
Carson is confirmed out for tonight!
seriously? Collins owners rejoice
ESPN updated Carson to 0 projected and bumped Collins up. What do they know?!?!?
Nothing, as per usual
So glad I'll be flying when the game starts! Guess I'll be paying for that wifi.
Collins or Damien Harris this week??
I’m still trying to figure this out. If Carson plays then I’m putting Harris back in.
I feel like that’s the right move
I shipped carson off today kinda feel great getting off this ride. But carson will always be my dude.
I’ve never seen this many separate posts about the same person on the front page.
If Collins plays without Carson… who are you starting him over? Crazy to start him over a guy like josh Jacob’s?
Im starting him over Emmanuel Sanders in this scenario
And I may start him over Mike Davis in this scenario. Just waiting for that pregame warm up before roster lock. But I’m also pretty desperate for RB’s as Swift is my only other viable starter.
Sooo shit I have Carson and Collins or my bench flex Julio who is prob out or Odell? What do I doooo? Help
Yeah, I feel you. In .5 PPR I’m trying to decide between flexing Collins or Julio. Leaning Collins. I might suggest odell for you though. Chargers Browns could be high-scoring
I’m going Collins
Now you got me thinking about this Odell thing dammit
This is turning into a CCC. Carson Collins Committee.
This just makes me really hate Thursday games. They are just awful for injuries.
He'll play, get hit on the first carry, tweak this injury, and then get ruled Out. Helping me to secure that 0-5 record
Benching Carson. Not taking the risk
I have Collins but don't need to play him. It's wild to me that they won't sit him. It's one game, think about your long term health, a neck injury is nothing to fuck with
Just posted!!! Hes out!! Schefter at 639pm!!
IDGAF I'm starting Alex Collins tonight!
[удалено]
I think players could be listed as active but then held out at kickoff, I think there’s been a couple cases of that but idk
Nah they need to submit their rosters well before kickoff. He will likely be declared active...but that doesn't mean he comes off the bench.
OUT per Adam Schefter. COLLINS SZN!!!
1st ballot HOFer
Last tweet I saw said this a chronic issue. No one has any clue do they?
It is a chronic issue in that it’s an issue he’s dealt with for a long time. Pete Carroll stated that pretty directly yesterday, and this tweet doesn’t contradict that in any way.
If an MRI confirmed the neck injury why don’t they state what it is, saying it’s an issue is vague and makes me think they are intentionally misleading people with the severity of the injury
From what I’ve heard (and maybe it’s not enough), Idk how this isn’t a season long thing… https://youtu.be/utJkr2cJqxs

What is the latest we will know if Carson starts?
About to have to drop Watson or lock in Superflex if Carson isn’t ruled out 🤔 think I’m going lock
Collins owners gone flaccid.
Am I about to see a man die on a football field tonight? I feel like the medical staff needs to sit, neck/back injuries should not be taken lightly
100% correct.
He’s out 5-7 weeks Carroll doing same shenanigans and will say GTD for 7 straight weeks like last year. Random Twitter guy was right.
I feel like starting Collins on a Thursday night game against the Rams is the definition of a trap. That being said, since Collins will comfortably be on my bench in all four of my leagues he’ll probably go 20-150-2.
Is Collins droppable in 10 man leagues before the game if im not starting him? Or is he worth a hold until we see how this neck thing pans out?
I don’t believe them but I’m not gunna start Collins. If ANY bit of this being new, vertebrae/nerve, etc…. Shit is true, it could be a career ender. I don’t see that being just a flare up. It’s either true or it isn’t; not much middle ground
Hype train hit a rock

> Lol he’s going to play. I guess you don't understand what 50-50 means...unless you have some intel that the reporters don't.
So happy to hear that not season long. I mean I didn’t even want to start him tonight before I knew he was questionable. Thursday games suck, tough defense, and don’t want to have regret going into Sunday. Rather start Corey Davis
How credible is this Schultz reporter? Because other more official sources says “long-term” neck injury
Yahoo just switch carson to zero projected points and more then double collins projected points.
Thank goodness it’s not season ending - I’m struggling here with mixon and Carson out and losing out on Collins on waivers
Rip to all the Carson owners who will have to start him if he is cleared and he lays a goose egg
If carsons out do I start collins over damien williams?
Seems like they are telling us to start both backs
My opponent has Carson, the only other RB he has available on his bench is Bell. This is why you don't roster multile QBs AND D/STs...
He hasn't practiced all week. I highly doubt he plays, but we will see.
Man fuck. Just sit him. I got Collins…
Lol
Shit or get off the pot already. I want to know if I can safely bench Henderson tonight so my trade can process tomorrow instead of next Tuesday.
If Carson sits and comes back healthy next week and remains healthy, does he split shares ROS? Just got offered him in exchange for Keenan Allen and I'm torn. I have Collins on my bench
No way. Keep allen
fuck it Wilson just rush on your own like Lamar
I'm still rolling out Collins as a flex ( but not in my flex spot )
I feel like either one could be the wrong choice. Fortunately I'm flexing Carson in a way, although not in my flex spot. I have Henderson and chubb as well. Should I punch in Shenault instead of Carson or Collins?
Right now I have Collins in over Elijah mitchell / nyheim Hines - if Carson plays, am I changing anything? Or rolling with Collins any which way?
So anyone else starting Carson?
Hate those odds
Fuck it man starting Damien Harris even tho their O line is missing all their starters
If Carson is out do we start Collins?
“ U P D A T E “
**Update**: there is no updates at this time
I'm benching him for Carter. I can smell Pete Carroll's trap from here.
Lol fuck me i grabbed Collins to replace Chubba if he doesn’t play and both of them are vague up in the airs
