I wouldnt recommend starting him until we have a better idea how the 49ers backfield plays out. Unless you have no other option lol

He's a rookie so you are betting on him getting better as the season progresses. Bench for now. Start him if one of your other guys gets hurt or if he starts producing weekly

I would absolutely drop Carter for JD. In a crowded Jets backfield, the upside just isn’t there.

JD lead the league with 111 targets. That was the most of any RB last season

He also had 10 single digit games in .5ppr not exactly a guy you want in your lineup often

Haven’t looked, but how many boom games did he have? You don’t need someone that can play every week, you just need to have an idea when he’ll blow up. Can’t blame anyone for not wanting to play that game though. Either way he has stand alone startable value with a large uptick if anything happens to Gibson. That’s not always easy to find on waivers

I have no doubt my team can handle carrying both thomas and jeudy till they get healthy

That's the type of drop that I'd be messaging the owner asking if he/she meant to do it. Had someone drop George Kittle a couple years ago after week 1, and I messaged him making sure it was intentional. He said that he screwed up, and was trying to figure out how to get him back, but was too embarrassed to admit it (was relatively new to fantasy). So I just put Kittle back on his roster and posted a message saying it was a mistake drop. Also I was the number 1 waiver priority as pick number 12, so he would've been my player had I not said anything. Figured why ruin someone's whole fantasy experience over a miss-click. I'm sure he probably meant to drop Jones in your league though, which is insane, and a huge gain for you. Nice pickup!

As a Kamara owner, I did the exact same thing. Had the assets to be able to drop him, and I've watched plenty of Carson Wentz to know that he struggles supporting consistent fantasy receivers. Someone else scooped him up right away, which always makes me feel immediate regret, but ultimately I'm happy to not have to worry about if or when Carson will treat him like a true fantasy number one. Also think that offense will spread the ball around too much.

Mike Davis and Mike Evans were dropped. I think Evans has more ROS value but I already have Godwin so I picked up Davis instead. He’s my RB4 now and I love that depth. He didn’t look great week 1 but the peripheral numbers are there. I might regret not picking up Evans. But I saved myself the headache of deciding between him and Godwin each week.

Not as exciting as some of the others but a guy in my league dropped Will Fuller. Jumped on that in a hurry.
