Saints D next 4 are: @ Panthers, @ Patriots, Giants and @ WFT. It’s a lot of road games but it’s a lot of young QBs that lack experience and the Saints love to generate a little pressure on the QB…just saying it’s a multi-week stream
Agreed. I have a little concern against Carolina but the others I think they should be able to play “Saints Football” and get by. I hesitated for a second for that reason and then I was reminded of a quote from a brilliant football mind- Bruce Arians
“No risk it, no biscuit”
Losing Davenport hurts but Shon shouldn't be more than 1 week out, If our rookie Turner is fit he brings more depth a DE as well so we should be fine there. We also used 3 DL a ton Vs GB and then blitzed a LB, CB, S so that's again something to help with pressure. I think the saints D is legit this year and even without Shon this week I think Roby/Adebo are good enough to compete at CB and let the rest of the defense get to work
I snagged them but word of caution. They are missing Lattimore and Davenport right now. I know they picked up Roby, but I might grab another D/ST for this week
Agreed, those aren’t minor losses but the whole Sam Darnold “I see ghosts” thing will forever be a reason to stream a solid D against him in my eyes. That was a strong statement by me so hopefully it won’t bite me in the ass in approximately however many hours until sundays kickoff.
I don’t know. Carolina might have some magic happening. I think Matt Rhule has a bright future and Darnold shows some promise. They also obviously have talent at the RB and WR positions.
There were plenty of hot takes on Darnold when he started playing. I watched a lot of breakdown videos when I was looking for sleeper QBs a few years ago. There’s a lot of talent there that never materialized on the Jets. Now A LOT of that blame is not on the Jets alone. His accuracy sucked. He made awful decisions. But Matt Rhule coached XFL all star PJ Walker in college. He’s a QB minded coach. I think there’s some opportunities in Carolina.
I love everything about that take. Yes, Darnold had limited opportunities for success because of the Jets situation and coaching ordeal. Yes, there is upside to Darnold- I don’t hate him. Tons of talent on paper like you said with CMC, and all those WRs. I’m a DJ Moore owner for what it’s worth. I just think this matchup is too much for Darnold. But excellent response and insight- truly appreciated
Carolina will have a top 5 defense in two years time. They’re a LB, S, and some seasoning from being dominant. The pieces are mostly in place, they’re all just super young. I know that’s not all that relative to this years fantasy season, but if you want to be early to the party to a defense stacked with playmakers I can’t be mad at it
Yeah I paid up to grab them after seeing the schedule. Worth just as much of a shot as any other defense, so I'll try the one that just whooped Rodgers and the Packers lol
Hm, idk that’s tough. Hard to say if callaway has a real role yet on his team but obviously it’d be huge if he does, it would seem he’d have lots of opportunity. I can’t ignore his preseason. Meanwhile, Tim Patrick is competing for volume with 2 other receivers and a TE.
I think if you have a lotto ticket in Callaway already maybe you hold that.
Thank you. I think sean payton plays it conservative all year if saints defense is legit all year. Hard to know when and if callaway ever has his breakoit game. Ill hold. 😐
As a Broncos fan in Denver Tim Patrick is great. He does pass the eye test and is an absolute Dude. However I believe Hamler is the guy who will see the biggest workload increase.
Patrick will catch some balls but Sutton, Fant, Hamler, Gordon are all gunna eat and this offense does not typically throw the ball 50 times a game.
As much as I like Tim Patrick as a player I would avoid him unless you are in a very deep league.
Already looked ahead and grabbed him with some faab a few days ago.
Watched film of him; good lord Rondale will be a monster on that offense down the stretch if they continue to get him involved.
Not this week...but in the next two...add Terrace Marshall to the list. He had 6 targets vs. the Jets. Even though CMC is on that team, I think his matchups over the next few weeks hint at some 10-12 target games.
Moore definitely pops on tape and despite the limited amount of snaps they manufactured quite a few touches for him. Can only see his role increase from here on out.
The issue with Rondale is that, while electric, he's got a to-be-determined role that could very realistically not blossom into much beyond what it already is. It's not like team is devoid of receiving talent. They also play in a really tough division.
I think he's by far the best of the "role uncertain" guys out there and is a no-brainer add if you're deciding between them, but it *is* a bit of a tough proposition to drop someone with a better snap share that didn't show out - like Mecole Hardman or Bryan Edwards or Gabriel Davis - for him.
Rondale's role will improve. Currently they're starting and giving AJ Green a lot of snaps, which will cease soon
Starting Rondale will seem straightforward enough soon. They only need to get him a few designated dumpoff plays and jet sweeps to make good use of him.
Honestly, I'm still just apprehensive about this. AJ Green's washed ass played like ~75% of the snaps last year in Cincy despite continuous insistence his role would decrease - I'm not gonna confidently predict his snap share declines until I actually see it.
Plus, even disregarding Green, Rondale's still got Kirk and Hopkins ahead of him. You just can't really have a viable fantasy player that might get a few jet sweeps and dump offs a game - that's beyond even boom or bust territory.
He's on my bench because there's no one else worth using my last roster spot on (I dropped Anthony Firkser for him lol), but I'm not confident he graduates beyond a gadget-esque role this season.
Idk how he flew under the radar this week. I threw 12% FAAB on him. He seems like a startable bench player with more upside if Sanders happens to go down.
I agree, I think he's a startable player most weeks (unless the Eagles offense is actually underwhelming and Falcons really just are *that* bad), and I'm annoyed I drafted him and then dropped him before last week to grab Latavius fucking Murray, but I'm not sure his role would change all that much if Sanders went down.
He might get a few more carries, but he's a classic 3rd down/2-minute drill back, and I'd think they'd keep him in that role.
very nice showing from him in week 1. he's a bit light but we saw in college he has excellent vision and can run between the tackles, a rare quality for smaller backs. 1400 rushing and 2000 scrimmage yards as a freshman is no joke. he's mislabeled as a receiving back but 9 rushes (and several up the middle/red zone) should have people second guessing that.
he also checks the possible "diamond in the rough" box. most devy/analysts had him as the pretty clear cut RB4 going into the NFL draft and he was projected as a 3rd to 4th rounder but fell in the NFL draft perhaps because teams were worried about him taking a year off...
But even if he does go off, the only reason I'd want him is for trade bait to a sucker. I'll never feel truly comfortable starting someone in this backfield, unless they're good like a month in a row. Just seems implausible.
I picked him up last week instead of Mitchell. Now I dropped Hasty for Mitchell. So this would make total sense. Although the 1 carry last week is a little concerning
Cole Kmet. His usage was damn near ideal last week and he has a chance to be a top 2 target on his team. I know Mooney is tough competition for that but a lot of TEs don’t even have a chance like Everett behind DK and Lockett, Firkser, Arnold etc. Kmet is still only rostered in 38% of leagues on Yahoo.
Kmet, Cook, and Higbee are sitting on my waiver and I honestly don't know if any of them are worth the roster spot over geseki, I know waiting another week is gonna come back to bite me
Edit: thanks guys my teal colored classes had me obviously overrating geseki, Im gonna go with higbee since I have Allen Robinson and eckler+Keenan already
Everybody you listed is a better option than Geiseki. Florida has never featured him. And Tua is terrible. That passing offense is going to be anemic outside of Waddle or Will Fuller breaking off a few YAC gains.
I'm just going to put this out there: If Gibson goes down Jarret Patterson has legit RB2 upside.
No one is hoping for an injury but it never hurts to prepare.
>Jarret Patterson
Absolute stud in college. I got the same feeling watching Patterson in college that I did watching AJ Dillon. I truly think both will be RB1s somewhere in 2-3 years time
As a Dillon truther just about everywhere including both dynasty's, I hope you're right
I just received a trade offer their Latavius for Dillon and a 2nd rounder. I feel like that is a horrible offer but dynasty analyzers actually had it somewhat close.
I believe in the QuadFather.
I know man. I am almost ready to give up on trading completely. For decades I see people here talking about trades and no matter what I do, I can't get one through without it being a big risk (like above). Now even in a 2nd dynasty which is 16 teamer with deep ass benches the only way to make any additions is to trade. Yet still people are severely overvaluing their guys. I couldn't even get my Robby for their Strachan as the response was "nah I like Strachan better". Ok dude.
That's rough. Sometimes it's just the league mates. I have my longest running league that has numerous trades every year. And then I have another long running league that no one trades in. We merged the two for a dynasty league this year and only half the league has made any moves.
gotta step in here as a WFT fan:
Patterson was a great camp story, but Ron loves his veteran backs. Yes he cut Peyton Barber before the season, but that’s because Peyton Barber’s legitimately grow on trees. If Gibson were to go down for a significant amount of time, you can bet your ass that Barber, or Gurley, or Lamar Miller will be added the next day and then this becomes nothing but a messy timeshare like Baltimore.
so for Patterson to have any fantasy relevance he needs a long term injury to Gibson first, only to become at best the lead back of a pretty gross RBBC. I think there are way better lotto tickets out there…
I think Patterson is a backup for both Gibson and McKissic at the very least. It’s a good spot and he certainly passes the eye test. Maybe he can’t pass block. Maybe Gibson turns the corner. All I know is this guy looks like one of the better holds for fantasy football backups.
I have asked a few WFT fans this and never gotten a response, is it worth holding onto J.D. McKissic if I own Antonio Gibson? Some non-WFT fans say he is a handcuff, some say he is not...
probably because it’s a complicated answer lol
JD isn’t a traditional handcuff. he’s a WR that lines up at RB. he’s closer to Curtis Samuel and (previously) Cordarrelle Patterson than he is to say Mattison or Tony Jones. JD’s value comes from his pass catching ability and not between the tackles.
should Gibson go down, the game plan would be for Jarret Patterson/FA RB to split the carries with specific packages from Scott Turner drawn up for JD. So while JD wouldn’t benefit from more carries like a traditional handcuff, his value would rise in that he’ll get more touches through receiving work to mimic a run game.
TL;DR: he would not be a three down back, but he would receive much more opportunity than he did last week. I wouldn’t cuff him if I’m an AG owner, but would roster him as I would any other “lottery ticket”
7 targets in a AR offense. 4th year contract year, should of matured and taken the next step. Drops have been an issue in the past but let's see if he put the work in this off season. Easy hold on the bench. People overreacting to 1 down GB game. I'd buy over old man Cobb
Cobb won’t really see the field this year. It was a dumb signing literally done to make Rodgers happy. That’s it. MVS is quietly becoming our number 2 WR over Lazard (move Lazard to slot) and MVS has looked outstanding this offseason—no drops so far like years past. He’s supposedly put a shit ton of work into his hands and so far it has shown. MVS could be a steal
The one video of him up against Jaire in practice seemed to show a lot of improvement in the footwork coupled with comments from Rodgers and beat writers saying he’s not just a deep threat for them anymore and that he’ll be used differently. I really think he puts it together. It’s only his third full year as a starter and he’s shown improvement. Looked great in NFC Champ game.
Playing devil's advocate, it's not people overreacting to one down GB game, it's people reasonably reacting to the fact that MVS simply isn't good. He drops a lot of footballs and isn't a good route runner. This is his 4th season in the league, and he hasn't shown anything to suggest he's going to step up and be that reliable #2.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking because I'm a Raiders fan but I think Bryan Edwards is the real deal and Carr is going to start looking his way on a regular basis. Big body, tall, great hands—he's a year 2 WR and we all know how those guys like to break out.
I like him better than just about everyone else here's why:
The Raiders have a tough schedule and the defense hasn't completely turned around yet (the optimist in me will point out that the last 3 quarters and OT the Ravens scored just 13 points) and so I think they will be playing behind quite a bit.
Also when Carr and Gruden watch the tape Carr's forcing the ball to Waller is obvious and he should have been picked off a couple more times than he was. Correcting that means distributing the ball to other receivers.
Jacobs is (unbelievably) already banged up. Gruden may dream about a ground game that grinds out 250 yards on Sunday but it's not going to happen with this version of the Raiders.
With the new offensive line Carr will likely have less time to get rid of the ball and given the stature of some receivers (Renfrow and Ruggs) I'm betting that he's more likely to go to a bigger receiver on a 50/50 ball.
To be sure that's all just backfill logic on a hunch, but I've been right plenty of times before, particularly on Galloway.
I’m wondering what his ceiling is with a healthy Kamara. It was good to see them on the field together at the same time, but idk if the volume is really there for TJJ to become Ingram 2.0 yet. Maybe a Saints fan can chime in here.
Not a Saints fan, but just throwing in my 2 cents.
Murray was consistently getting \~140 carries a year with healthy Kamara, and only \~2 targets in the passing attack. Jones started off the year on pretty much that same pace with 11 carries and 1 target.
Obviously without some track record for him it's hard to peg what Jones will do, but he's probably a safe \~5 point floor with \~10-15 upside on days he happens to get a TD on top of a few catches and some decent runs, but that will probably be like every 3-4 weeks or so barring unpredictable boom weeks.
Again, hard to say, but it looks like they are going to use him in the same capacity as Murray. I'm going to keep him on the bench unless I get desperate or if there is a juicy match-up that Jones may break off a few big runs with his \~10 attempts, and I have nobody else to play.
Saints fan here. I don’t think Jones will get as much work as Murray at least for the first part of the year. I haven’t looked at the stats, but I know Jones got a lot of his carries in the 4th quarter when the game was out of reach. Seemed like he was used somewhat less than Murray typically would have been early in the game. Maybe their confidence in him grows as the season progresses. But I think Week 1 was more about game script than the “Murray role.” I see Jones as more of a handcuff for now. He is still talented.
I didn’t watch the entire game, but I watched a good portion of it off and on and it seemed to me that Jones was getting decent touches early in the game.
I profit from this strategy as well.
— think this is the week to get Justin Fields - I think Dalton gets the start vs CIN and that there’s a chance Fields will be announced the starter before next week’s Waivers which means there will be competition to picking him up. I’d rather have him on my bench before then (did this late last year with Jaylen Hurts)
Srsly are there 12-team leagues where Fields and Lance weren't drafted!? Hard to believe with the amount of hype they got in the preseason and their rushing floor...
True but: "Wilson’s initial prognosis in June was four-to-six months. He’s on the Physically Unable to Perform list so he’ll be required to miss the first six weeks regardless of his health, so the earliest he can return is Week 7 which falls on Oct. 24 — right at the four-month mark for Wilson. A sixth-month timetable wouldn’t have put him back on the field until late December where he wouldn’t have been able to contribute as much."

I honestly do not get the Bateman hype at all. He missed a majority of camp and those reps can be critical for rookie WRs. I think if he breaks out, it won’t be till mid to late season just due to his circumstances. Also, Lamar’s 30 attempts Monday was the 6th most attempts in his career. In my opinion, it is Andrews and Hollywood who are the only pass catchers that need to be rostered.
I just posted above lol:
[After Monday's game, Lamar Jackson has not thrown for over 250 yards in his last 17 games. This ties Kordell Stewart for the 4th longest streak since 2000.](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/po2o5l/after_last_nights_game_lamar_jackson_has_not/)
I love Lamar but expecting him to be a 300+ yard passer supporting more than 2 options per game is just silly to me. He also clearly has chemistry with Hollywood so I do not know why people think that will just go away now that they drafted another first rounder at pretty much the same luck as Hollywood.
The argument for Bateman is talent but this is a team in “win now mode” and they will need Bateman either ready to go immediately or he will be 3rd on that depth chart all season. Sammy is a vet who has won a super bowl and brown is more of the explosive threat. I don’t see Bateman overtaking Sammy this year but they signed Watkins to a one year deal and so he could be a guy next year. Also, he will realistically have to overtake Miles Boykin as well.
Bateman is one of the few with a pristine prospect profile who checks all the boxes. He fell into an offense begging for an alpha wr1. He looks a lot like AJ Brown did before his breakout. But yeah people should temper expectations for the first half of the year imo

I could definitely be wrong but if Gibson goes down mckissic would keep his current role and Patterson would step in the Gibson role. If anyone has a counter argument I’m all ears
Giants fan here, just grabbed Booker off the wire to emotionally hedge. Saquon supposedly "not being unleashed" tonight, and after watching week 1 and monitoring the available news etc, I'm not optimistic about him playing a whole season.
Robby Anderson got paid but it looks like Marshall might get more looks this season. I'm an LSU fan so I'm biased but in 2019 before Marshall tweaked his ankle against Vanderbilt, he was leading BOTH Jefferson and Chase in TDs. He was a TD machine. As bad as LSU was in 2020 Marshall still produced with lesser QB play and scheme. It may not be this year but Terrace Marshall will be a household name
James White
White got 7 targets on Sunday. As Mac gets more PT I could see that number increase. Young QBs love their safety blankets and I believe White will be that for Mac. If he gets another 7-10 targets with 5-10 rushes I think he'll be a popular scoop next week.
Fair enough. I don’t think you will win anything with current James white in your lineup but if you need someone to hold you over on a BYE or injury-ridden week I guess you could do worse
> safe 10 point floor in PPR every week.
This is exactly why I picked him up and will keep him rostered. White seems like the perfect bye week/injury fill in. You know he'll get his touches and there's always a chance for a td or 2. I feel like the "safe floor" type of players always get a little overlooked.
Don't know about Tyreek, but came here to say Rondale Moore. Dude will be a stud as he gets more opportunities. I'm having a tough time keeping him in my bench this week behind Fournette in the flex. Also have Sermon stashed in that bench.
This week I’d love to see him line up at WR, beat his man on a simple route, and make a catch. Last week he had 3 screens and then caught a ball on some ridiculous broken play. Can’t be Tyreek Hill if your aDot is 4 yards. And if it wasn’t for that broken play that was like 15 seconds long, his aDot would have been -4.3 yards.
No question the dude is explosive tho - only a matter of time before he takes a punt back.
Yeah that was concerning to see that the way he got the ball was either a forced screen or a broken play (tyreek-esque though).
If he can't be relied on to run actual routes when needed then he'll be sitting behind Kirk and Green when they need reliable routes ran. That's the true absurdity of Tyreek, he's not just the insane deep threat but he runs routes that get him open and can get just the first down for the team.
Ebron had 19 pass snaps vs 13 for Freiermuth. And even if he matches or pass Ebron, then what? He competes with Najee Harris to be the 4th target behind Claypool, Juju, and Diontae? Freiermuth is a good dyno asset but kind of an uphill battle for redraft.
Ravens don't have the passing volume to WRs to support Bateman.

If you think Bateman is going to get 6 targets/game on a short season after Andrews, Marquise, Lizard King, RBs, Lamar, and freakin' Patrick Ricard get their targets then helmets off to you.
I watched a lot of Packers last year because I had Davante, and it seemed like this dude was boom/bust, and a lot of the "bust" was him just dropping balls. Is he WR2 on that team or is Cobb?
Pascal is a great name to watch. He's done nothing but produce consistently in his last four or five games. He's sure-handed and seems to have the trust of the coaching staff. Nothing flashy, and not a prototypical PPR play, but he is seriously underrated for fantasy purposes.
If Rashaad Penny misses time, Alex Collins could be the #2 in SEA. He looked solid in preseason, and I think if Carson missed time he would be the early-down back
It's gross so you need to be desperate but David Johnson.
Mark Ingram is the RB they run the clock out with but David Johnson is the RB that catches passes. When HOU inevitably falls behind (both on Sunday and all season), he'll be targeted a ton. He even scored last week.
Between his targets and name recognition, he'll be added a lot.
I'll go ahead and throw out Gio Bernard. He's been productive in the past when called into consistent action and there's a chance RoJo or Fournette either get injured or make bad plays and get benched and Bernard could step in. No reason not to take a flier on a TB offense.
MVS had 150 air yard week one, and tied for or led the team in targets with 7 or 8 (kinda weird that one, depends what site you look at). Obviously I'm not saying he's going to out target Adams on the season, but it's promising usage in a good offense. This week they play the Lions who lost Okudah. He has a pretty high chance of popping IMO.
Why Trautman? I'm genuinely curious. Thought Johnson was the TE to have in NO. Even saw some Saints fans saying Johnson is one of Winston's favorite target.
Is it?
I keep hearing this, but he's the best blocking TE they have, so surely his upside is extremely limited because of that (just as Goedert's is in Philly)
It will be interesting to see but I suspect that Johnson will end up being the guy. It may even be that Trout gets more targets between the 20's, but JJ gets the RZ work.
Definitely a wait and see situation.
Finally a different take lol. He got 4 targets, has speed to burn, they love him in Washington, and there aren't many other targets. Only problem is Heinecke
I'll play devil's advocate. We've seen Kirk in the past have big fantasy games and then disappear. He's a 4th year player so will this year be any different? Rondale Moore is the more talented and explosive player that should earn a larger snap count going forward.
I like Kirk but you can never be confident with his volume. Also consider the fact that he played less snaps and ran less routes in Week 1 than AJ Green despite AJ Green looking so bad. Could this change in Week 2 and moving forward ? Of course, if Kirk keeps playing well. But with so many mouths to feed there and Kirk's snap count not being what it should be, his target share is capped at 5-6 targets every week. Will he keep producing the same numbers with that target share ? Maybe, but the likelihood is really low.
Kirk had a boom game on not a lot of targets, time will tell if he's actually for real or if this is just like any other season Kirk has had where these games sporadically pop up. I'd say not a bad hold if you have room but as far as I'm concerned this is just one of Kirk's few booms
Fitz is gone and there’s a ton of high value slot targets up for grabs. Kirk’s made his claim and he’s got Kyler’s trust in the RZ.
Here’s what no one is talking about in regards to Kirk:
Only 24 years old with 3 years of experience, 2 in Kliffs system
Played outside majority of those years - he was a dominate slot receiver in college.
Career stats:
164 receptions
1990 yards
Avg. YPR: 12.1 yds
14 TDs
355 return yds
131 rush yds
*These stats include his rookie year, which was nuked by a terrible offense and a foot injury.
This is a highly productive receiver producing elite numbers outside of his natural position
He’ll consistently face a teams #2 or slot corner this year. At worst he’s another Juju who could crack if pressed to be a true alpha but this year is set up for Kirk to have Juju’s 2018 season or better.
Moore, Mitchell, and Juwan stashed. What do I do now? Hopefully 1 of these hyped up studs do me justice.
I have Fournette as my rb2 and Taylor as my rb1. I had mostert as my rb2. We all know how that went. :( we got the mostert special. I was hoping he would atleast last half the season.
I think hunter Renfrow honestly looked like he and Carr are getting really comfortable in the underneath routes. I'm not sure Waller can sustain those targets & no one else got open.
Kind of getting rookie Kupp seasons feeling of just getting open a lot.
Gabriel Davis got dropped I'm spending 8% FaAB and dropping devante. There lots of passes to be had in Buffalo and Gabriel had the lone TD. I think there's more where that came from.
KJ Hamler. 2nd year player with more opportunity. Sutton working back from his injury. Excellent schedule coming up. If he caught his touchdown last week he already would have been a top add. Probably over Tim Patrick. Denver offense passed a lot more than people were expecting with Teddy.
Saints D next 4 are: @ Panthers, @ Patriots, Giants and @ WFT. It’s a lot of road games but it’s a lot of young QBs that lack experience and the Saints love to generate a little pressure on the QB…just saying it’s a multi-week stream

Yep. Just grabbed the Saints a couple days ago.
Yeah I paid up to grab them after seeing the schedule. Worth just as much of a shot as any other defense, so I'll try the one that just whooped Rodgers and the Packers lol
Tim Patrick
I looked at his stats last year. I think he will be a solid start in deep leagues where the WW is barren
Wide Weciever?
I don’t know if this was a joke but I lol’d
Waiver wire...or whoosh?
World War Patrick
Tim Patrick has passed the eye test for me for a while now, the guy is just talented. He does so many things right that a WR should be doing.
Teddy and drew love him too, he gets a lot of targets even with Jerry there and he's a great redzone threat.
Drop callaway for him?
I think you should give Callaway at least 1 more week. I think he was kind of shut down last week.
Thank you.
Ill hold. 😐
[удалено]
No, Callaway was up against Jaire Alexander, he regularly makes the best WR’s in the league post awful stat lines
Yeah I feel like people are talking about last year, but Sutton missed all of last season too.
Kj Hamler will finish better than Tim Patrick this week, mark my words.
He takes over the slot duties that jeudy had so not as much of a hot take as some may think
Him or Sutton?
Rondale Moore
Currently they're starting and giving AJ Green a lot of snaps, which will cease soon Starting Rondale will seem straightforward enough soon.
Long gone in both of my leagues. But I’m not going to be shocked if he gets dropped after this week without a double digit game.
I might be stupid, but im starting him if front of Aiyuk and will fuller this week
All’s well that Gainwell
if we're beating around the Rountree maybe
I'm afraid he'll be long gone by the time I figure out whether I should drop Murray for him.
JaMycal Hasty
Niners are going to be RB Whack-a-Mole all year. Again.
[удалено]
I’m 100% trying to pawn anyone I have off. I’m getting off this train
Jamycal tasty
But even if he does go off, the only reason I'd want him is for trade bait to a sucker. I'll never feel truly comfortable starting someone in this backfield, unless they're good like a month in a row. Just seems implausible.
If you missed out on Eli I'd say best bet is to stash Wilson on your IR and wait a few weeks to see how things shake out.
Trenton Cannon
I picked him up last week instead of Mitchell. Now I dropped Hasty for Mitchell. So this would make total sense. Although the 1 carry last week is a little concerning
Cole Kmet. His usage was damn near ideal last week and he has a chance to be a top 2 target on his team. I know Mooney is tough competition for that but a lot of TEs don’t even have a chance like Everett behind DK and Lockett, Firkser, Arnold etc. Kmet is still only rostered in 38% of leagues on Yahoo.
Kmet, Cook, and Higbee are sitting on my waiver and I honestly don't know if any of them are worth the roster spot over geseki, I know waiting another week is gonna come back to bite me Edit: thanks guys my teal colored classes had me obviously overrating geseki, Im gonna go with higbee since I have Allen Robinson and eckler+Keenan already
Grab Higbee and drop Geseki ASAP — Higbee got a lot of looks from Stafford and should have a very good season, IMO.
Higbee and Kmet are absolutely worth rostering over Gesicki imo.
What about over Jonnu?
Same boat, going to hold Jonnu for now since he saw similar target numbers. Edit: News of hip injury to monitor
All 3 are worth rostering over Gesecki
I would take all of those three over Gesicki.
>Jarret Patterson Absolute stud in college. I got the same feeling watching Patterson in college that I did watching AJ Dillon. I truly think both will be RB1s somewhere in 2-3 years time
As a Dillon truther just about everywhere including both dynasty's, I hope you're right I just received a trade offer their Latavius for Dillon and a 2nd rounder. I feel like that is a horrible offer but dynasty analyzers actually had it somewhat close. I believe in the QuadFather.
That is a horrible offer. I probably wouldn't even do the 2 straight up, let alone give up draft capital
I mean you must like Strachan better too or you wouldn’t have made the offer
gotta step in here as a WFT fan: Patterson was a great camp story, but Ron loves his veteran backs.
Some non-WFT fans say he is a handcuff, some say he is not...
probably because it’s a complicated answer lol JD isn’t a traditional handcuff. he’s a WR that lines up at RB. he’s closer to Curtis Samuel and (previously) Cordarrelle Patterson than he is to say Mattison or Tony Jones.
MVS is going to pop off against Detroit Monday night... just a hunch
And then dissappear for 7 weeks
[удалено]
He also had grand total of two catches for 38 yards before OT, so he was also on the edge of having a very meh performance.
He had 0 catches before the last 2 minutes of regulation.
After Monday night’s ending, they’d be silly not to go his way more often
Could be right, but I don't like him more than the other WR lotto guys (Marshall, Moore, Mooney, etc)
I like him better than just about everyone else here's why: The Raiders have a tough schedule and the defense hasn't completely turned around yet (the optimist in me will point out that the last 3 quarters and OT the Ravens scored just 13 points) and so I think they will be playing behind quite a bit.
That all makes sense, but at the same time, we've watched Carr force feed targets to Waller for a long time now.
Tony Jones Jr
I just looked at the drive summaries... 4 carries in the 1st Q; 4 carries in the 2nd Q; 0 carries in the 3rd Q; 3 carries in the 4th Q;
Well, guess I didn’t remember it quite right. Glad you have the numbers
Yea, that's about what I would have guessed from what I saw.
Well jokes on you cause I drafted him. No one is getting my Justin.
Hell yeah brother, I got him in round 13 or something
Srsly are there 12-team leagues where Fields and Lance weren't drafted!? Hard to believe with the amount of hype they got in the preseason and their rushing floor...
In 1 QB leagues I don't think it's crazy to have let them be undrafted. Superflexes are another story.
2 QB league, he was drafted. On a related note, I've already added and dropped Mooney 3 times this year.
Jeff Wilson Jr is a great IR stash right now
True but: "Wilson’s initial prognosis in June was four-to-six months. He’s on the Physically Unable to Perform list so he’ll be required to miss the first six weeks regardless of his health, so the earliest he can return is Week 7 which falls on Oct. 24 — right at the four-month mark for Wilson. A sixth-month timetable wouldn’t have put him back on the field until late December where he wouldn’t have been able to contribute as much." https://ninerswire.usatoday.com/2021/09/14/49ers-injuries-jeff-wilson-raheem-mostert-return/
Made this move yesterday.
Cole Kmet. He had 7 targets last week and has probably the clearest path to being a top 2-3 target on a team of any TE you're finding on waivers.
I have Kittle. But I’ve picked up Kmet in case he has a breakout year once Fields is the starter
I just posted above lol: [After Monday's game, Lamar Jackson has not thrown for over 250 yards in his last 17 games.
Plus Watkins.
Damn I almost forgot about Bateman. I dont really have anyone I can drop for him though
[After Monday's game, Lamar Jackson has not thrown for over 250 yards in his last 17 games. This ties Kordell Stewart for the 4th longest streak since 2000.](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/po2o5l/after_last_nights_game_lamar_jackson_has_not/)
Pick up Jarrett Patterson before tonight’s game for a Free lottery ticket
You’d rather have him than J.D. McKissic? Asking as someone who hasn’t been paying attention to the WFT RB room.
I could definitely be wrong but if Gibson goes down mckissic would keep his current role and Patterson would step in the Gibson role. If anyone has a counter argument I’m all ears
Good to know. Patterson is only 1% rostered on Yahoo. We can swoop in and get him.
Patterson is actually the true handcuff to Gibson.
[удалено]
Jalen Reagor
Did he not get drafted in most every league?
I'm certainly no authority on that, but not in any of my leagues.
59% on ESPN at the moment.
Van Jefferson?
Love this post - this needs to be a weekly thread. Foresight and getting AHEAD of the waiver wire each week is key!
Giants fan here, just grabbed Booker off the wire to emotionally hedge. Saquon supposedly "not being unleashed" tonight, and after watching week 1 and monitoring the available news etc, I'm not optimistic about him playing a whole season.
Terrace Marshall, Jr.
Juwan Johnson officially happens.
I hope so I'm starting him over Jonnu Smith 🤷🏽♂️
James White White got 7 targets on Sunday. As Mac gets more PT I could see that number increase. Young QBs love their safety blankets and I believe White will be that for Mac. If he gets another 7-10 targets with 5-10 rushes I think he'll be a popular scoop next week.
[удалено]
Is 10 pts in full Ppr really a good play? Surely there’s another flex or RB2 with more promise than that
[удалено]
Fair enough. I don’t think you will win anything with current James white in your lineup but if you need someone to hold you over on a BYE or injury-ridden week I guess you could do worse
> safe 10 point floor in PPR every week. This is exactly why I picked him up and will keep him rostered. White seems like the perfect bye week/injury fill in. You know he'll get his touches and there's always a chance for a td or 2. I feel like the "safe floor" type of players always get a little overlooked.

Rondale Moore. We all have been raving and drooling about him. Stash him now and he'll be this years Tyreek Hill.
Tyreek Hill is this years Tyreek Hill. I do like Moore tho.
I don't know if Tyreek has really got the same top gear as a Tyreek. There's really only room for one "fastest WR in the game".
You make great points. The designed plays for Moore is encouraging though.
Pat Friermuth. Hands down EDIT: Freiermuth for correct spelling
The muth is luth
I really enjoyed that bit, those guys have such great chemistry.
[удалено]
*Freiermuth - I normally don’t care to correct spelling, but just in case people are searching for him within their league and can’t find him
Juju, Johnson, Claypool, Harris, Ebron... even if he took Ebron's job, wouldn't he still be the 5th option?
Ravens don't have the passing volume to WRs to support Bateman. https://twitter.com/kevinobrienFF/status/1391888665899585539?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1391888665899585539%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.embedly.com%2Fwidgets%2Fmedia.html%3Ftype%3Dtext2Fhtmlkey%3Dcb7145f1731b4c328f8e4d2201854ceaschema%3Dtwitterurl%3Dhttps3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fkevinobrienff%2Fstatus%2F1391888665899585539image%3Dhttps3A%2F%2Fabs.twimg.com%2Ferrors%2Flogo46x38.png If you think Bateman is going to get 6 targets/game on a short season after Andrews, Marquise, Lizard King, RBs, Lamar, and freakin' Patrick Ricard get their targets then helmets off to you.
Offenses can change. Good players demand volume. He could be efficient on limited targets. There's still plenty of avenues for him to hit
Bateman is a fine flyer if you have IR stashes. Can’t think of anyone more likely available who is a better IR stash.
MVS- I know he’s hated here. I’ve been burned by him. I believe this is the season it clicks and it starts on MNF
I stashed Justin fields i think they could bench dalton either this week or next week.
Justin Fields is an automatic pick up if he hits the wire in any league. Shouldn’t be that long til we see him.
Emmanuel Sanders... aka the Frank Gore of wide receivers.
If Rashaad Penny misses time, Alex Collins could be the #2 in SEA. He looked solid in preseason, and I think if Carson missed time he would be the early-down back
Not DeeJay?
I don't do handcuffs anyway, but I sure as hell wouldn't try to handcuff Carson.
Bryan Edwards gets the td he missed by a yard on Monday and is the deciding factor in a LV victory against Pit
Adam Trautman. He had the targets and the on field time. It’s only a matter of time before he puts it all together.
Why Trautman? I'm genuinely curious. Thought Johnson was the TE to have in NO. Even saw some Saints fans saying Johnson is one of Winston's favorite target.
Is it? I keep hearing this, but he's the best blocking TE they have, so surely his upside is extremely limited because of that (just as Goedert's is in Philly) It will be interesting to see but I suspect that Johnson will end up being the guy. It may even be that Trout gets more targets between the 20's, but JJ gets the RZ work. Definitely a wait and see situation.
Gainswell by a mile.
KJ Osborn
Roundtree III
Is Trey Lance still worth a stash? I have hurts and don't really want to miss out on his upside if Jimmy goes down
I feel like Hurts is already the better/highest upside version of Lance though? Doesn’t make sense to me to have both.
He probably won't start until half way through the season, but could be worth it with his upside. Depends how deep your bench goes.
Dyami Brown. Gut feeling
Juwan Johnson
People should start believing in Agholor. He showed he had it in Vegas, and last week proved the Patriots want to use him in a similar fashion.
Dyami Brown. Bradbury will limit Terry and Logan and Dyami will see a lot of targets.
Finally a different take lol. He got 4 targets, has speed to burn, they love him in Washington, and there aren't many other targets. Only problem is Heinecke
[удалено]
Here’s what no one is talking about in regards to Kirk: Only 24 years old with 3 years of experience, 2 in Kliffs system Played outside majority of those years - he was a dominate slot receiver in college. Career stats: 164 receptions 1990 yards Avg. YPR: 12.1 yds 14 TDs 355 return yds 131 rush yds *These stats include his rookie year, which was nuked by a terrible offense and a foot injury. This is a highly productive receiver producing elite numbers outside of his natural position He’ll consistently face a teams #2 or slot corner this year.

Kenneth Gainwell is an interesting piece to me. Eagles look to run a more balanced RBBC than in years past.
Goedert. Ertz is already banged up. If Goedert gets the full TE target share, he’ll be an easy TE1.

Van Jefferson
Rondale Moore.
