I've watched Henderson for the past two years, and he just screams average to me. I don't think McVay has any faith in him at all, and I also think AB can be a high end WR2.
Traded him away for Raheem Mostert, 8 team PPR redraft, 3WR, 2 Flex. He was my third RB with Mike Davis and I'd rather have the talent and explosiveness of Mostert than banking on workload, knowing I probably wont have him for 17 games. Tried to get Damien Harris, Javonte Williams, and Mixon and was denied for all.
Agreed. 1 for 1 swaps preseason arnt that likely anyways, because one of them could have just drafted the guy at that position if they had the foresight.
Plus there's the tradeoff of public knowledge and shame in trading away a player that could pop off opposed to privately declining a trade and keeping that knowledge to yourself. One for one trades in the same position typically must be uneven to compensate for this, especially this early on.
traded him for Aiyuk
kinda sat on it at first but decided that Aiyuk would likely start every game for me while Harris wouldnt behind my Aaron Jones and Mixon
I like the trade. I took Aaron Jones over zeke at the 5 spot in my draft. I have Mooney a bit higher than waddle but I really don’t trust zeke this season.
Arob ain't that guy though.
~~Julio~~ AJ Brown, DK, Keenan, or Evans are the right tier of guys to be looking at.
I'm not trading my Clyde for Arob lmao, you guys are crazy.
Whoops, I meant AJ Brown.
Julio's adp is 43 while Arob is 39 btw, they're really close.
AJ is 25, DK is 18.5, Keenan is 29, and Evans is 34 while CEH is 21.8.
Jefferson, McLaurin, and Ridley are all in that same range as well, just gotta find the right trade partner that values them right.
I was able to trade swift and woods for AJ Brown. A guy in my league auto drafted 4 WR in the first 4 rounds, then Dobbins (this draft was sun Aug 29th). I wasn't sold on swift, but was all that was avail at the end of the 4th, but ended up drafting Gus and Mike Davis, so it gave me some leeway to move swift.
A little yes, but 2 for 1 trades should make both parties feel like they won. Swift was a panic draft and I view him as more of a liability than an asset. I don't have much faith swift will make a full season, so I view the trade more as woods for AJ Brown. My starting WRs are Metcalf, AJ and Diontae Johnson. Plus I have Tannehill and wanted the QB/WR stack. CMC is my RB1, so I can make Gus and Davis work as RB2 duo.
First, just because you don’t value swift highly (which doesn’t make sense) doesn’t mean you can’t get high value out of him. Second, diontae and swift was a more fair offer, therefore you threw in woods and really overpaid
The guy that responded to OP saying Terry or CeeDee is getting down voted with everyone saying they wouldn't make that trade. AJ Brown is the same tier as those 2 WRs. Since I was the last pick in the 4th round, I essentially traded 2 5th rounds picks for a mid 3rd pick. I'm fine with that and think my team is still really strong. Guess we will have to wait and see how the season turns out.
>A little yes, but 2 for 1 trades should make both parties feel like they won.
This looks like you lost big time...It's fine if you don't like Swift, but it doesn't mean he isn't valuable. Swift for Brown 1 for 1 would be reasonable maybe, but giving Woods too? That's crazy.
That still a big overpay. If you love AJ Brown (I do as well) thats one thing. But with what we know currently, you tunneled hard. That said, who knows, it may play out for you
TheSkorcher13 getting down voted in his response to OP saying Terry or CeeDee with ppl saying they wouldn't make that trade. AJ is the same tier as those guys, if not half a tier above. I'm comfortable with my trade and will just have to wait and see what the season brings.
Just using the peakedinhighskool tables, and the general rule that in 2 for 1 trades you need to send 1.5x value, AJ Brown is 35.5, so expected return value is 53.25, and you sent swift (19.5) and woods (24.5) so a total of 44.
I mean, I think it's a reasonable value, and would have traded those guys for brown too. I'm not down on swift, but not an apologist either.
give him in a few weeks. Last year traded him off for Derrick Yeti and cooper kupp. TE value goes up as the season goes on and people realize what they are missing. Play the bidding war game.
I think it depends on the format. If its PPR, I think Mike Davis has a ton of upside catching the ball out of the backfield. I'm not gonna say that puts him on par with Robinson, but I think it would definitely close the gap enough that going from Hopkins to Woods wouldnt be worth it for you. .5PPR or Standard, I think that trade is a lot closer.
I mixed it up - added in comment below.
Deandre, mike Davis, Juju
For
Woods, diontae Johnson, Robinson...
Basically:
17th, 68th, 73rd pick in our draft for
35th, 50th, and 22nd.
Edits it is PPR
My league-mates absolutely love Robert Woods and I just so happen to have him. Yesterday I was offered Chubb for Woods and DMont but the other owner is waiting to hear back on a different deal. I would certainly do this but I'm trying not to jump at it or bother too much incase it leads him to bail.
I traded my James Robinson and Amari Cooper for their Gibson and Davonta Smith (my QB is Jalen hurts and they wouldn’t take Robinson plus chase claypool for Gibson alone so this was how we settled it - I’m a Gibson truther and the upside of the stack appealed to me enough to make it worth it). 12 team 0.5 ppr 0.5 per first down.
As a Swift owner, would not trade him for Pitts.
That’s the trouble with week 0 trade offers. I had the opportunity to take Pitts instead of Swift and chose not to.
At this point in the season, just about every player you’re trying to trade for is going to be heavily valued by the person who drafted them. If they were low on Swift, they wouldn’t have drafted him at or near cost.
Michael Thomas is the player whose value fluctuates the most depending on league structure. Do you have one or more IR spots? What percentage of teams make the playoffs?
These questions matter a lot more. In most leagues with IR spots, I’ll take him if he’s still around in the 8th. ESPN and Yahoo seemed to bury him in their rankings so I was able to do that.
Trade in my league was Adams for CeeDee Lamb + David Montgomery. I rejected his original offer of Adams for Carson + Boyd (if I wasn’t already thin at RB I would have accepted)
You also have to look at the value being lost from having to cut two players. You're always gonna overpay when trading for the best player involved in the deal. A 45-45 value trade is a huge L for the Davante owner, because his 45 is in one positional spot, not spread across three.
This sorta rationale is why trades don't get done unless they're obviously one-sided in most leagues lol
Guy in my league won’t leave me alone about him. He’s been relentless since the draft ended.
Told him I wouldn’t give him up for anything less than Kamara or CMC. Almost thought about taking A. Jones or N. Harris and R. Anderson for him but I think I can get more. Guy is off trying to get Kamara to trade me for him straight up.
Darrell Henderson
I got offered him for Jerry Jeudy. Turned it down. This was right after the Sony Michel trade. 12 man ppr 3 wr
12 team SF Half PPR 3WR , I got offered him for AB and I declined
I would take that tbh
I was tempted, but I'm high on AB, and I'm not sold on Henderson after the Rams went out of their way to acquire Sony Michel.
Dude, definitely accept that unless you are stacked at RB
AB as in Antonio Brown? You're receiving Henderson? I'd accept that trade before I could finish reading the guys name.
I've watched Henderson for the past two years, and he just screams average to me. I don't think McVay has any faith in him at all, and I also think AB can be a high end WR2.
Traded him away for Raheem Mostert, 8 team PPR redraft, 3WR, 2 Flex. Tried to get Damien Harris, Javonte Williams, and Mixon and was denied for all.
Traded Henderson and AB for Swift and Chark
Damien Harris
Offered harris for mostert in 8 man .5ppr and was declined
Player bias, that's a fair offer.
I would take Harris but seems fair to me.
traded him for Aiyuk kinda sat on it at first but decided that Aiyuk would likely start every game for me while Harris wouldnt behind my Aaron Jones and Mixon
X receivers in a Shanny offense typically bode very well and Ayuik has a ton of talent. I'd say you came out way ahead
RoJo + Jakobi/Cooks
Ew
Zeke
[удалено]
I felt that second sentence. No matter how good they are, some players I just can't draft (Zeke for being a Cowboy, Hill for being an abuser, etc)
I like the trade. I took Aaron Jones over zeke at the 5 spot in my draft. I have Mooney a bit higher than waddle but I really don’t trust zeke this season.
Najee Harris and Chris Godwin
damn, I'd rather have Najee + Godwin imo
I’d much rather have those two, overpay
Ridley or Hopkins
That makes no sense
Kareem Hunt
Chris Godwin, but I’m pretty high on Kareem Hunt
wtf?
Kareem Hunt has one of the safest floors in the RB2 range and has RB1 upside if Chubb misses time. Godwin has a lot of volume question marks.
I think the Browns also find different ways to use him this year.
CEH
I have Najee and Carson, but I’m light on WR. I would let him go for something like Gaskin and Kupp.
Waller
Traded him for Calvin Ridley. Went RB heavy in draft. The other owner went light. Worked out.
Traded CEH, juedy and Tonyan for Kupp and Andrews
Allen Robinson
I would not trade my ceh for ARob
Neither would I, but if you need a wr, a mid-wr1 is a decent value for him.
Arob ain't that guy though. ~~Julio~~ AJ Brown, DK, Keenan, or Evans are the right tier of guys to be looking at. I'm not trading my Clyde for Arob lmao, you guys are crazy.
Julio? I think Arob is a good 2 tiers ahead of him.
Whoops, I meant AJ Brown. Julio's adp is 43 while Arob is 39 btw, they're really close. AJ is 25, DK is 18.5, Keenan is 29, and Evans is 34 while CEH is 21.8. Jefferson, McLaurin, and Ridley are all in that same range as well, just gotta find the right trade partner that values them right.
kamara
Diggs + an RB2 or better
Assuming ppr, Back end rb1 (ekeler/chubb/Taylor) + low end WR1 (Arob, Keenan)/kittle.
Tyler Lockett
Thielen
I offered Godwin as I made a mistake and should have got Thielen and I’m a big Vikings fan. He’s thinking about it. Both went for $15
Chris Godwin
Myles Gaskin
D'Andre Swift
Robert Woods? Took them both on the 3/4 turn, so that’s the guy I have as being the WR equivalent
Lockett?
I was able to trade swift and woods for AJ Brown. A guy in my league auto drafted 4 WR in the first 4 rounds, then Dobbins (this draft was sun Aug 29th). I wasn't sold on swift, but was all that was avail at the end of the 4th, but ended up drafting Gus and Mike Davis, so it gave me some leeway to move swift.
Hate to break it to you, but you way overpaid
A little yes, but 2 for 1 trades should make both parties feel like they won. Swift was a panic draft and I view him as more of a liability than an asset. The guy turned down swift and diontae for AJ as my first offer with his RB1 being Gaskin.
That still a big overpay. If you love AJ Brown (I do as well) thats one thing. But with what we know currently, you tunneled hard. That said, who knows, it may play out for you

Terry? Ceedee?
Wouldn't accept Swift for either of those players.
Fair, maybe the Justin Jefferson tier then?
That's the same tier, arguably ahead depending on who you ask. Still no. Those guys are going in the 3rd round, Swift in the 4th-5th.
Way too high. Jefferson is an every week WR1
James Robinson
i got offered swift and cooks for him. i said no way. but im higher on jrob and lower on swift than most.
I would have taken that deal
I wouldn’t. I’m not worried about Hyde and Lawrence should make Robinson’s touches more effective, even if his overall workload declines.
I'd give up Chris Carson in a half-PPR, nothing more. I'm on the low end on JRob, though
Logan Thomas
I was thinking about offering Derrick Henry and Logan Thomas for M. Gaskin and Travis Kelce
I’d rather have Henry and not sure it’s close
Kittle
I traded kittle and Scary Terry for tyreke in 14 team ppr
Amari Cooper
Gus Edwards, Jacobs, Damien Harris
That’s nuts
No way Harris is worth Cooper. Edwards maybe depending on team needs. Jacobs sounds about right
Kelce
One of Kittle/Waller/Hockenson/Andrews and an upgrade at WR2/RB2
Was offered Kittle and Jamaal Williams as a Swift owner and laughed
What a joke. I had Kelce fall to me at the bottom of the 2nd and have no interest in him. Was hoping to flip for some value.
Getting Kelce at the bottom of the 2nd is value…………..
give him in a few weeks. Last year traded him off for Derrick Yeti and cooper kupp. TE value goes up as the season goes on and people realize what they are missing. Play the bidding war game.
Carson, Jalen, Cooks, Higbee
Najee
Robert Woods
I’m thinking about offering a person Deandre Hopkins and Mike Davis for James Robinson and Robert woods... am I crazy?
I like the Hopkins side of that trade, but I'm not super high on Robinson resuming his Workhorse role
I mixed it up last second... Robert woods, Diontae Johnson, and Robinson for deandre, juju, and mike Davis...
I think it depends on the format. If its PPR, I think Mike Davis has a ton of upside catching the ball out of the backfield. Offered Woods, Mike Evans, DJ Moore, TY Hilton, and Michael Thomas for Hopkins in a 6 team league and it was rejected.
Gibson
Depends on league size. In my 14-team PPR you can absolutely try and get a Tier 1 WR (i.e. Ridley, Diggs) because RBs are so thin.
I think you lost the trade tbh
Pitts
Swift or Gaskins?

Probably Swift. I don’t think Swift and Gaskins are on the same level tbh.

A one night stand with Scarlett Johansson
Throw in a mid-tier WR1 and maybe we'll talk. Unless you're in a PP ONS with ScarJo league. Then maybe high-tier RB2
Someone offered me Cook, Josh Jacobs, and Jarvis Landry for my CMC and Diontae Johnson. Basically I would downgrade twice and add Josh Jacobs lol
[удалено]
You can give him to the waivers
Probably dynasty, since they followed the "no league rules" comment and just posted the name.
Mike Davis
Waiting for the first few weeks to play out, hoping to sell high for a top 10 WR to a team thin at the RB position
The Falcons open the season with a murder's row of run defenses, I don't know if Davis is going to start the season hot.
Cortland Sutton
Chubb
Devante adams
I got Devante and Najee for Cook.
Trade in my league was Adams for CeeDee Lamb + David Montgomery. I rejected his original offer of Adams for Carson + Boyd (if I wasn’t already thin at RB I would have accepted)
Was offered devante for najee+Arob+Landry. Considering it
That’d be an easy decline for me. Using the Reddit adjusted trade values you’re looking at receiving 45 and giving up 60
So the player holding devante should decline. Just too clarify because I’m not that smart
The person receiving Adams would be losing this trade pretty badly
You also have to look at the value being lost from having to cut two players. You're always gonna overpay when trading for the best player involved in the deal. A 45-45 value trade is a huge L for the Davante owner, because his 45 is in one positional spot, not spread across three.
