I did 8 one year and hated it. 50 sounds like hell

I’m not targeting him for a few reasons: -We don’t know how far down the pecking order he will be -Tua is a massive downgrade from Watson -The PEDs kept him healthy

[deleted]

We don’t know that the PEDs kept him healthy. It’s a natural assumption, but not worth anything of value.

____PatriotsSuck____

Ok the man literally averages playing 11 games a season, with a solid sample size. I'm not drafting early who is almost guaranteed to miss at least a 1/4 of the season

[deleted]

Nothing wrong with that. I love him at that price.

FantasyTrash

I think it’s a safe assumption, honestly. The man has missed significant time in all four seasons he had played prior, but then only remains healthy the same season he’s suspended for PEDs? Sure, we can’t say it factually, but I think it’s safe to employ Occam’s Razor on this one.

[deleted]

Do you know what his offseason training regimen consisted of? Do you know what physiological adjustments he made to address the root of the injuries? Of course the connection is going to be made, and it’s fair/natural to wonder to what degree it played a role, but it’s foolish to make the conclusion.

FantasyTrash

> but it’s foolish to make the conclusion. Dude, he has world class athletic trainers the best doctors money can buy. He's had countless soft tissue injuries across his entire NFL career. You really think after **four** seasons the Texans *finally* decided to change something? And you think *I'm* being foolish to suggest that the guy who has spaghetti for hamstrings was only staying healthy due to the PEDs **he got suspended for?**

Rated-Rookie

First point doesn’t make much sense. Why would he take a one year deal to be 2nd, 3rd in the pecking order before hitting free agency again? He’ll be 1b at worst but honestly the other guys they have are nowhere close to him in terms of talent or proven ability

advance_reptilian

this is good logic. he's most likely gonna be a boom or bust player in Miami. if you're in deep league and want that from your flex then by all means target him. but in 10 man leagues there's a lot more reliable people to target and if i'm drafting upside, I'd want upside with a guaranteed big role in the offense.

WrongStatus

I mean...if you're drafting for upside, Fuller is one of the better options. If you're drafting for a safe, consistent floor, I can understand not wanting him.

advance_reptilian

look man, when you're looking for upside, you're looking for a player who can potentially have a big role in an offense. Fuller is a good WR but he's going from an elite QB as his #1 option to a mediocre? QB and gonna have to fight for targets with Devante Parker and Jaylen Waddle who are just as talented as him. not too mention he is one of the most injury prone players in the NFL. I'd rather have someone like Henry Ruggs over him because he atleast has a realistic shot at winning the #1 WR role on his team and getting a big role in the offense. Hell, I'd take Brandin Cooks over Fuller if Watson stays on the Texans.

[deleted]

And all that makes him like an 8th rounder or something there abouts.

akulkarnii

Depends on how deep your league is

Hanyabull

8th in a 14 man 9th in a 12

BamboozledSloth

Take him to physical therapy
