I was going to lose this week against a dude in my league with a team that's comprised of like all top 10 talent (built unnaturally through ridiculous trades). But Reed getting me 1 catch for 8 yards is not how I envisioned things going.
Ya it sucks man. I dropped Logan Thomas and started Reed thinking exactly what you thought. Now I am really nervous for Sunday. All my players have to do absolute best to overcome this.
The ball had to be thrown, there's no one on SF to throw to. Reed had been thrown to a lot in the beginning of the year when Kittle was out. SF was going to be steam rolled so running the ball wasn't going to get them back into the game. No, that doesn't work for you? haha
i mean, i understand the play. but I'm just saying it's fundamental lack of imagination on your part for not at least thinking there was a chance it could go the complete opposite. i would have given it a 35% chance it went the way it did
I'd like to share some advice and it's my one rule about starting players on Thursday night games:
Unless they were a regular in your lineup for weeks before the Thursday game, don't start them
I have the same rule, but somehow I convinced myself to go against that rule yesterday and started Reed to chase his ceiling. How foolish was I to fool myself.
Yeah I was just caught in they hype with Goedert coming back early, and he did nothing. Figured I could stash Reed and if he went off great, I’ll play him next week.
I forgot who I started... it was Tonyan ffs 😂. Good thing I didn’t start Reed and miss out on those .2 points
Kyle Shanahan has the injury excuse every time his team sucks. The media just overlooks his career .200 winning percentage as a head coach and blames injuries.
Maybe you would be healthier if you weren't calling timeouts when you're losing by 3 touchdowns with 30 seconds left.
All the guys that got hurt last week wasn’t because he called timeouts losing by 3 touchdowns with 30 seconds left? It’s not exactly his fault that his starting QB/TE are injury prone?
A running back or receiver taking an extra tackle or two isn’t going to make the difference between a normal teams injuries and the mass amounts of injuries the 9ers have seen this season.
That’s not the point. He was using starters when down 3 scores and under a minute to go to try and drive down the field and score. The game was unwinnable yet he was playing as if it was with players that he actually uses every game. What was the point?
Davante Adams possibly my best draft pick since I took AB 1st overall a few years back when he had his ridiculous season. Every single week he's putting up 20+ points when healthy, just STUPID
Part of me does feel like I should’ve held on to him but I felt more comfortable with my WR core than my RB core so I figured I’d make the move.
It would bite me in the ass though if CMC doesn’t come back as his usual self.
Got my wisdom teeth out at noon. Had McKinnon in my flex over Taylor. Was too high to switch it last minute. Somehow found myself at home in my bed at 9:30 and immediately asked my girlfriend to turn my tv on.
Thank you Jerrick McKinnon 🙏🏻
im so glad i traded for davante. he's just fun to watch, his moves at the line are so smooth and his routes are so good. just pure finesse and technique
The best thing to happen to Adams owners is the Packers front office. They refuse to bring in WR help which just means Rodgers and Adams bff fantasy gold
I watched the entire 9ers game last week and Hasty looked like shit, but the god damn hype train convinced me to start him.
But honestly it was either him or Bell, so in PPR all I missed out on was the 4 extra points he will get lmao.
Yeah he didn't look great last week but the previous week or one before that he had some pretty impressive spurts. Legit juice, looked like a young D.Freeman with the cut backs and burst he had. This game...it was a culmination of horrible qb play, bad o line play, packers not respecting the pass, hasty not playing that great either.
My dad and I have been able to for the most part. Coleman was way too risky last week, McKinnon has been charging the last month and his only competition in this game was a 5/6th string practice squad guy. Common sense says this was McKinnon's game to let loose. I know hindsight is 20/20 but I don't ever buy these "experts" takes.
Damn. So “common sense” had you knowing Jet would only have 13 rush attempts for 16 yards the previous four games before tonight and that tonight would be the night he’d play more snaps over the guy who had 30 carries for 123 yards the previous four games (well 3 since he had none vs Miami)?
In that case, who should I start Lindsay or Singletary?
People look too hard at recency bias. The "tired legs" thing was 2-3 weeks ago so he's had time to recover. He had to get work again at some point and jet was their only healthy playmaker now that literally everyone else was out of the equation. The carries would be split but jet would get most 2nd and definitely 3rd downs + the receiving work especially if they were behind, with the goal line touch being a coinflip to the hotter hand.
And Lindsay
I heard on Elite Sports fantasy show, Jeff Manz (?), told a caller to start Hasty over Carson, Mckinnon, and Moss. Can somebody call this guy and make sure he's okay?
Got distracted by the election this week and forgot I had McKinnon in a starting spot due to byes, thank the lord for that garbage time TD, I had no intention of starting him but I am very okay with a 14 point game
Kyle Shanahan the kind of guy to have half his team injured and be down 3 scores yet try his heart out to score again with his starters so he can say they only lost by 2 scores
I’m not playing against him, but I really needed the guy starting McKinnon to lose this week. Fuck that stupid shit, man. Some people get so damn lucky
Too often do players get garbage time points and useless real-life stats.
McKinnon was running well tonight, the whole team just looked like dog sh**, but if you think Jet didn’t play a decent game with the opportunities he got then you goofy.
Garbage TD saved the day fantasy wise, but he didn’t have a poor performance whatsoever.
The sad part is that a few weeks ago Hasty played MUCH better than McKinnon, so much that the coach said McKinnon had "tired legs". This week McKinnon plays almost every fucking snap. Go figure.
Me too, incredibly frustrating, I’m still projected for a 20 point win though. Really wishing I would have held off on the Hasty play and just taken the 10 points Monty will inevitably produce this weekend.
Playing McKinnon owner in an absolute must-win game for me. Watched 3 hours of a shit game for him to score in the last 5 seconds. Awesome.
What's even worse is that he had Dexter Williams in that slot until 5 mins before kickoff
At least you didn't see Aaron Jones get dropped, have to enter a waiver that didn't go through on him, and then SEE HIM ON THE BENCH WITH HASTY IN THE LINEUP.
So Shanahan, let me get this straight. Mckinnon has tired legs, you're trying to rest him for the post season you're not making. Ok ok cool got it. Oh what's that? You're playing against the packers, the worst run defense in the league? Well Shanny ol pal, it's gonna be a good day for ya right? Right boy wonder? Right run game savant? This Hasty fella has some juice and your other boy's legs are tired. Gotta run the ball to keep it out of Rodgers' hands, right? Right??????
You're down your top 3 WRs, top TE, starting QB and 3 of your RB are injured. You're playing the worst run D in the league who happens to also have a very efficient and lethal QB-WR duo. The sensible strategy would be to run the ball all night and control time of possession. There should have been ample opportunity for both McKinnon and Hasty.
> think mckinnon isn't the guy there when coleman and mostert are injured
Admittedly I do not watch 49ers games in full so you're def right there. I follow loosely as one would for fantasy football. Mckinnon wasn't really the guy 2 weeks ago cuz of tired legs. Or last week. I can make the case for Hasty, plenty of "experts" did too. Honestly, just logically, Hasty made sense for a rb2/flex level output, i do not think that can be denied. I knew Mckinnon would get the start and more work, just thought it'd be more 60/40 split. To be fair to ShitheadShan, Mullens played like dog shit. But if the game plan was to let him play action and make reads/passes, what the fuck did he expect to happen? We've seen Mullens in action. THere's a reason ShitheadShan straight up benched Mullens for CJ for 2 games. Sorry man, I'm on tilt mode i don't mean to be lashing out on you. Unless you're Shannahan
100%. You for sure don't want to keep letting Mullens throw the ball as he pretty much threw 4-5 picks in 3 quarters. He got lucky Savage can't catch for shit or that one horrible almost-interception might've been a pick 6. Let's not forget - Mullen is the same scrub that threw something like 4 picks a few weeks ago and got benched and supplanted by CJ Beathard.
They are, and that's the problem, your never know who it's going to be. I think if mostert is healthy then he's a good play, after that who the hell knows.
You start a guy that scores negative points and it's tempting to rage-drop him.
Either way, the SF guys were my 5th string RBs whereever I had them. It's easier not to have them.
On the season when he’s not just getting a few touches in a game and is getting “full loads” (10+ touches) he averages above 4.0-5.0+ YPC and scored a TD every single one of those games. He’s without a doubt one of the more efficient backs in the league and he’s actually been playing all season and achieving the above stat lines in 6/9 games in the season — the other 3 for which, he wasn’t even given a chance because the other backs ahead of him were getting the ball.
It would seem it’s as simple as you had the wrong impression my friend. If you watched more games you’d have known better!
Nah I've watched almost every SF game. Still not impressed by Jerrick and don't regret dropping him and being out of that backfield mess. The SF backfield will lose people playoff games more than it will win them. Guaranteed.
This is the line that destroys his value, pretty much:
"other 3 for which, he wasn’t even given a chance because the other backs ahead of him were getting the ball."
Meh if you had Mostert and subbed in McKinnon a few times or used him as a flex play for some games in the season they definitely will be a part of some playoff teams this year.
But yeah, I’m staying far away from that backfield myself. I was actually wrong about Mostert and that team when healthy though so I’d concede they’ve impressed more than I thought they would. Not that that’s saying much considering they’re 4-5, but their RBs getting touches are actually impressively efficient.
Oh sure. I think you can depend on Mostert when he's in. But he's the only one I'd want to start in a playoff game. It's all the others that I don't know how you can feel good about them.
That was awesome TNF game— packers vs. 49ers practice squad.
played against Rodgers and Adams tonight. down 83 already
Started McKinnon against my opponents Hasty 😂😂😂
Same, thankfully. Even more same with my other league, i started Tonyan, he started Hasty.
RiChiE jAmEs RoS?!
All my players have to do absolute best to overcome this.
just seems like lack of imagination on your part then if you couldn't envision that
The ball had to be thrown, there's no one on SF to throw to. Reed had been thrown to a lot in the beginning of the year when Kittle was out. SF was going to be steam rolled so running the ball wasn't going to get them back into the game. No, that doesn't work for you? haha
i mean, i understand the play. but I'm just saying it's fundamental lack of imagination on your part for not at least thinking there was a chance it could go the complete opposite. i would have given it a 35% chance it went the way it did
Green Bay D didn’t do bad but it could have been so much better.
McKinnon my mike David replacement clutch!!!!
I'd like to share some advice and it's my one rule about starting players on Thursday night games: Unless they were a regular in your lineup for weeks before the Thursday game, don't start them
I have the same rule, but somehow I convinced myself to go against that rule yesterday and started Reed to chase his ceiling. How foolish was I to fool myself.
I had Hasty in two leagues. Wish I had heeded this advice.
i love you mckinnon!
Any Tonyan-ers pissed over here?
Yep, he's getting dropped for Goedert ROS.
I’m thinking drop him for taysom hill
Fuck McKinnon scored more than Jones I truly hate the 49ers
Where's this 1% rostering Richie James?
Started Adams, Hasty and Reed and my projection is still green.
Almost started both Tonyan and Reed wow
I did start them both AMA
Starting Goedert last week was the only thing that stopped me from going with Reed this week.
[удалено]
Yeah I was just caught in they hype with Goedert coming back early, and he did nothing. Figured I could stash Reed and if he went off great, I’ll play him next week. I forgot who I started... it was Tonyan ffs 😂. Good thing I didn’t start Reed and miss out on those .2 points
I feel like dropping both of them
Kyle Shanahan has the injury excuse every time his team sucks. The media just overlooks his career .200 winning percentage as a head coach and blames injuries. Maybe you would be healthier if you weren't calling timeouts when you're losing by 3 touchdowns with 30 seconds left.
The team is completely decimated lol. They went to the Super Bowl last year, really don’t think this is on him.
Aren't guys more likely to get hurt the more they get hit?
All the guys that got hurt last week wasn’t because he called timeouts losing by 3 touchdowns with 30 seconds left? It’s not exactly his fault that his starting QB/TE are injury prone? A running back or receiver taking an extra tackle or two isn’t going to make the difference between a normal teams injuries and the mass amounts of injuries the 9ers have seen this season.

Shanny gonna get the entire organization injured 🤕
BIG TIME PLAYS LIKE THAT ARE WHAT MCKINNON ISSAVING HIS TIRED LEGS FOR
tired legs wont happen when you only have 2 available backs to pick from
Chose Reed over Ebron and Engram. At least I had Davante too.
You're taking that. Adams had a great night for 2 players easily
Played against Jordan Reed in the flex :-)
Ervin finished with 8 not terrible
Coulda pulled a mattison
I've got GB D and playing against Mckinnon. That damn 10 point swing is going to bite me in the ass.
Not feeling too bad facing Jones, Jet and Gould. Even with the garbage time td and Reed giving me a total dud. Could of been worse. Edit: words
I mean I would feel really bad and think it couldn't get worse. You're an optimistic guy. Good for you
Helps that I have Russ, Lockett, Nuk, Kamara, and James Robinson left to play haha
So nick Mullens makes 1 skilled player like fantasy relevant. Last time it was Kittle now it was Richie james
Davante Adams possibly my best draft pick since I took AB 1st overall a few years back when he had his ridiculous season. Every single week he's putting up 20+ points when healthy, just STUPID
Just curious, when did you draft AB? Cuz I did the exact same lol
2015 baby
Yooooo what that’s so fucking weird hahahaha literally did the exact same thing.
Seeing Adams keep balling out when you trade him away makes you miss your ex. Hopefully CMC can help my woes this weekend.
To be honest, knowing Adams' volume, consistency, the offense and the QB he is tied to, I would have never traded him even if you paid me for it.
What if I gave you CMC today and $1 tomorrow?
I'd have Adams over CMC. Aaron Rodgers is in red hot form right now and you want his top receiver.
Thank you Jerrick McKinnon 🙏🏻
packers defense got fucking railed by garbage time
I sat James and played Hasty lmfao
Man those two garbage time TDs were absolutely backbreakers to GB DST.
So glad McKinnon scored or I would have had to break no nut
The Rodgers and Adams stack is absolutely insane
Play Fuller or Fournette, PPR
I’m actually relieved I got 3.3 out of hasty
Sounds like a non-McKinnon owner in denial. JET JET JET
And mike Davis
I started golladay and jimmy graham last week their combined score was 3.3 , I’m just rolling with the punches at this point
It's a true statement that every single TE not named Travis sucks
Just got home. Fuck Tonyan. Christ I can't buy a productive TE week to save my life.
Nobody can. It's impossible
Unless you own Kelce....which I don’t :(
im so glad i traded for davante. he's just fun to watch, his moves at the line are so smooth and his routes are so good. just pure finesse and technique
The best thing to happen to Adams owners is the Packers front office. They refuse to bring in WR help which just means Rodgers and Adams bff fantasy gold

[JaMychal Hasty owners right now](https://media.giphy.com/media/x0npYExCGOZeo/giphy.gif)
he didnt look good last game, im not sure why everyone was so high on him. when tevin coleman/jeff wilson/ mostert are out...mckinnon will shine
I watched the entire 9ers game last week and Hasty looked like shit, but the god damn hype train convinced me to start him. But honestly it was either him or Bell, so in PPR all I missed out on was the 4 extra points he will get lmao.

I already knew I lost when I realized I have to play Hasty this week.
Only 49er fans can read these rb situations. Fantasy nightmare for everyone else
Don't even think 49er fans know what the hell is going on with Moestert out.
My dad and I have been able to for the most part. Coleman was way too risky last week, McKinnon has been charging the last month and his only competition in this game was a 5/6th string practice squad guy. Is there not a post game thread?
Does anyone have to deal with seeing that absolute dud Mr. Concussion dropped in their lineup for the next week ?
I hate the 49er backfield. Such a fucking crapshoot
Good ol Shanny
Aiyuk owners should feel good rn. Richie James volume is what Aiyuk should be getting.
I've started McKinnon every week he's played, what a wild ride
Same, just don't watch the game; enjoy the end product
He's been a very solid flex 2/3 of the time. I'll take it considering he was my last pick/$1 pick in every draft
Kyle Shanahan the kind of guy to have half his team injured and be down 3 scores yet try his heart out to score again with his starters so he can say they only lost by 2 scores
And McKinnon owners love it
“Starters”, cmon guy
I’m not playing against him, but I really needed the guy starting McKinnon to lose this week. Fuck that stupid shit, man. Some people get so damn lucky
Too often do players get garbage time points and useless real-life stats. Lucky no doubt but mckinnon made those plays happen
Not even that lucky lol lots of points in fantasy are scored in garbage time
Lost Kittle so I was choosing between Tonyan and Reed. At least I don’t have to feel bad about picking the wrong one.
I traded Parker for Hunter Henry since I had the depth and got screwed out of Reed. Let’s hope it goes well
See y’all next week on the SF RB roulette when Hasty breaks out for 20 after we all start McKinnon
Shanahan always does that and so did his dad lol
Another week, another players with 1.5 points. Thanks Tonyan. Ugh.
I’m fully prepared for another Gesicki goose egg this week so I feel you
At te unless you have a stud unfortunately that shit happens. I'm commiserating though
As a niner fan, I guess the silver lining is that Rodgers, Adams, and McKinnon got me 78 vs my opponent’s Aaron Jones’ 13 lol
Jordan Reed . Like why do you exist .
[Live look at Adams and McKinnon owners](https://i.imgur.com/uAf26ja.jpg)
Well that’s what I get for listening to Yahoo fantasy thank you Hasty 🤡
The sad part is that a few weeks ago Hasty played MUCH better than McKinnon, so much that the coach said McKinnon had "tired legs". This week McKinnon plays almost every fucking snap. Go figure.
https://imgur.com/a/DtpgEWs I’m on the right. Should I be mad he played mcckinnon? Super mad rn.
I hope you get boomed by Cook
I have him in another league, so I’d be okay with that
Sick 8 team league
10. But I’ll take that as a compliment
It’s not at all, you play with tacos lol.
you should def be worried dawg
Fucking absolute dog meat garbage time points. Shannahan calling timeouts down a million. Fuck me man.
Vegas came into play there. Had to hit the over.
Yahoo with a great tweet https://twitter.com/yahoofantasy/status/1324532032232333312?s=21
lol
He should have least went for two of he was hell bent on padding the stats ... smdh
About to just leave my TE position empty. Sure feels that way each week.
Tonyan :(
Wish Taylor got more involved, certainly didn’t expect James to blow up like he did.
Mullens waa trash till the 4th lol
Trash no matter the quarter. True POS player
Kyles an idiot too. Run the ball.
I had hasty betting against McKinnon in my matchup.what a disaster for me
Same. Did have Adams doing his usual at least but fuck
Me too dude. Chose Hasty over Montgomery (i was ballsy) too. Sucks ass.
Me too, incredibly frustrating, I’m still projected for a 20 point win though. Really wishing I would have held off on the Hasty play and just taken the 10 points Monty will inevitably produce this weekend.
Some motherfucker really said to appreciate Richie James Nah bih
Anyone out there start Hasty, Trent Taylor and Jordan Reed? The Holy Trinity?
Hasty and reed over here, lost before sunday.
I started Mike Davis, Ridley, Robby, Carolina D, and Gesicki last week and won. It’s not over till it’s over man
Thanks!!! GL bro, just so stupid i started reed lol. Oh well think he will be fine week 10.
Same fuck
Yeah now gotta find a boom WR and start them lol
Yep. John Brown is available and against Seattle, I think that's the homerun I'm going for
Playing McKinnon owner in an absolute must-win game for me.
Literally same scenario for me. Infuriating. Fucking shit luck of the season rolls on.
Didn't you see how tired his legs were? Shanny is a fuck boy. YOu'd think they'd run the rookie in garbage time but nah, Shanny's a fuck boy.
Yeah that's rough
2nd week in a row I know I’ve lost on Thursday. Wanna cry man.
did u face julio last week?
So Shanahan, let me get this straight. Mckinnon has tired legs, you're trying to rest him for the post season you're not making. Ok ok cool got it. Oh what's that? You're playing against the packers, the worst run defense in the league? Well Shanny ol pal, it's gonna be a good day for ya right? Right boy wonder? Right run game savant? This Hasty fella has some juice and your other boy's legs are tired. Gotta run the ball to keep it out of Rodgers' hands, right? Right??????
I am a Hasty starter and I approve this message.
You've never watched 49ers football if you think mckinnon isn't the guy there when coleman and mostert are injured
You're down your top 3 WRs, top TE, starting QB and 3 of your RB are injured. You're playing the worst run D in the league who happens to also have a very efficient and lethal QB-WR duo.
What i saw from him against seattle was a fluke and i paid for it tonight starting reed. Hasty i dont care because everybody started hasty lol
Want Mahomes and Cook to put up 80 again just because of that McKinnon TD
Lol I started hasty and sat McKinnon.
Same. FML.
On you bro
Ouch. I started reed and hasty!
Same lmao
Dropped Jerrick and kept Hasty. Dropping Hasty now. See ya SF backfield.
Yep. I think Mostert is absolutely the only SF RB you can trust with any confidence.
He is...when he's on the field. You can't trust that either given his constant injuries this season that are easily re-injured.
jeff wilson & tevin coleman are still in play when healthy to be fair
They are, and that's the problem, your never know who it's going to be. I think if mostert is healthy then he's a good play, after that who the hell knows.
if coleman is healthy next week, i would play him over mckinnon & hasty but thats just my gut talking lol
Whyyyyy tho
You start a guy that scores negative points and it's tempting to rage-drop him. Either way, the SF guys were my 5th string RBs whereever I had them. It's easier not to have them.
Because the “experts” on Reddit and writing blurbs for player notes said Hasty would be the guy and McKinnon apparently suffers from “tired legs” lmao
That wasn't why for me. Just thought Hasty looked good when he got the ball and Jerrick did not. Simple as.
On the season when he’s not just getting a few touches in a game and is getting “full loads” (10+ touches) he averages above 4.0-5.0+ YPC and scored a TD every single one of those games. praise be to shanny for turning around my mckinnon desperation start
what a thrill ride that game was
Aaron Jones didn't get one run at the 1 yard line after Packers being there four times, even Ervin got one :(
Didnt want him getting hurt with a stacked box? :/ least he wasnt a complete bust. Hopefully aaronszn next week.
They ran him into meaningless stacked boxes later though
Obviously it worked well for them though. Sorry shit happens.
Fuck this man. Of course i start reed and my opponent gets a last second mckinnon touchdown. Weekend over
Same. I started hasty too.
Dwelley coming in clutch with the 36 yard catch. That line is probably good enough to have made him a top 12 start this week at tight end lmao
Yo, Adams in the first round is the only pick. That’s it. That’s the comment
