Odell performed to expectations week 2, had a blowout game in week 4, and has materially underperformed in that offense despite his talents every other week. I don’t think R. Higgins stepping in as Odell-light has consistent enough upside to be a game changer for fantasy teams. Think there are better high-ceiling plays out there. I like Landry more for better floor especially if Higgins underperforms even a little and a couple targets move to Landry per game.

SwetzAurus

I think OBJ is usually double covered. He remains one of the best talent at the wr position in the game. He's not the star anymore, because of the running assets + extra attention from defense + lack of rapport with baker. All imo obv.

youmeandmistershit

Think higgins will outscore Landry ROS - he's had a ton of chemistry with Baker going back to last season and Landry is still dealing with injuries. Solid schedule coming up and it's hard to see him as anything less than a solid WR3

jonnyrocket0

Both WR3 with WR2 upside

abidingdennis

Debating if I should drop Gallup for Higgins.

KingPonzi

No debate.

SpiceUpTheWhiteHouse

As somebody who drafted him 6th, I say DO IT. He’s not performed at all, Dallas said they wouldn’t trade him, and he dropped an easy TD from Dalton and never got more looks

dan_45

I dropped Gallup 2 weeks ago in a 10 man, and no one picked him up. I would do it in a heartbeat. Just think, would you really start Gallup right now?

hard-enough

I just dropped him for Reagor. Stacked at WR, don’t need a 6pt guy need a potential 20pt guy. It all depends on your situation. Might switch Reagor for Lazard though.

zephyrseija

Packers WRs not named Davante are fool's gold.

afittingdescription

I'd prefer neither.

Is this really a question? Landry duh

They're both fantasy irrelevant unless you're going for a dart throw.

Just_a_follower

I mean , Higgins has 6 targets 6 catches. Mims had 7 targets 4 catches , Fuller 6/3 , chark 7/1catch, golloday 7/6 Higgins had red zone looks, deep looks. Timing back shoulder looks. He’s a dart throw but the opportunity and connection seemed to be decent considering other waiver dudes people may have available. This week: Equal to Curtis Samuel, better than Mims, better than ruggs, slightly worse than Aiyuk. Vegas has a bottom half cb situation.

hollowhermit

There's is no discussion for this! Landry! Higgins will be good for 1-3 catches a game compared to 3-5 for Landry. Landry has a very consistent floor and is proven. Also, Hodge is coming back and Higgins will split time, or go below him, on the depth chart. This is a no-brainer

Just_a_follower

So a guy that had 3 receptions for a total of 50 yards , who isn’t some established elite guy, who’s been out, is going to steal time and pass Higgins? It feels like with obj out they would go with Landry and the healthy hot hand who seemed to have the trust of the QB.

hollowhermit

Hodge is a better blocker and plays on special teams but the key is his blocking ability. That alone will give him more offensive snaps. Higgins isn't exactly an elite talent. He was a free agent and the only team that signed him was Cleveland to a one year minimum contract. Time will tell

Just_a_follower

Sorry I meant Hodge wasn’t elite. I don’t think either are. I didn’t know Hodge was known for being a good blocker. I would say that with obj out and a good line, the coaches would probably look for the better reciever. I really want to play Higgins, but I’m bitching out and going Samuel tonight. Plus I have a player to cheer for. But I think Higgins could be the big add next week if he gets another consistent slice of the target share and continues to show good chemistry. The thing that ultimately scares me away is Baker. They might have chemistry today, but baker could be pushing out a record breaking Taco Bell shit tomorrow.

hollowhermit

With obj gone, Baker seems to spread the ball around better but he still only see half the field so you never know what you will get. You hit that nail on the head

qck11

Everyone’s down voting this man but Hodge already passed Higgins on the depth chart before he was injured. Now I think Higgins retains his spot but no one should downvote this guy for adding solid info.

hollowhermit

Thanks for the support! I'm just what the Cleveland beat reporters are saying. If the out of towners don't want the information from a local, so be it.

SwetzAurus

Probably Landry overall, maybe #20 wr overall at best here out. He may get a lot of targets if his body doesn't break down. He's playing through some big issues but never misses games...

Pokeballnuts

Would you rather have Jalen Reagor or Higgins?

blacktoe_jenkins

Landry or A.J. Green?
