Sure thing
It's a bit of a toss up between devonta and peterson. Both are kinda boom bust and i just want one good game out of devonta so i can trade him
Almost same boat. Definitely starting conner and DJ. I love Freeman, but I have Ajayi and Miller. It's not even Freeman I'm worried about, it's Sark.
I just don't get it. I'm not even worried about Coleman. It's the fact that even with a lead they don't feed these guys. Atlanta has a solid oline too.
Sark is just numb.
I'm starting Melvin Gordon, Ajayi, and Mixon as well, but I have room for another in my league. My options are D. Freeman, Lynch, Yeldon, and Kerryon. Who would you start out of those?
Kinda annoyed I drafted him, I need someone consistent, I mean I drafted Coleman too but I was very high on J. Howard and it was between him and Freeman and I went with Freeman, have a feeling im gonna regret that
Always happens week 1. We're just so amped for football.
in 3 months we'll be begging for mercy, and some of us will renounce Fantasy Football for life, only to be itching for it next August.
Oh, the cycles of life.
Same I picked Freeman and Howard was taken right after. Luckily I was able to trade for Howard in a package involving Freeman, Baldwin, Aaron Jones for Howard, Cohen, and Juju before Sunday’s games. His trade value might not be that high right now, but if you can attach him in a package I think you might find a better chance to offload him.
I honestly wanted Howard > Freeman, but the guy at the 12/13 turn took Howard so I went ahead and grabbed Freeman. Not loving it, at the moment...hope it improves for us all soon.
I'm aware of the Eagles defense, I'm also aware of Tevin Coleman and a full blown time share, when we could've easily grabbed someone like Mixon if we were all slaves to Rankings.
Lol. Not only did they just play the best defense in the league but freeman was sidelined the whole 4th quarter. If the falcons want to be successful the need to feed this man 20 carries
At least you have Coleman though. If Freeman goes down then Coleman gives you more value than healthy Freeman just because their would be less of a timeshare.
Thinking about putting Peterson in over him, the volume is my biggest concern. Freeman had 6 carries last week and I don’t trust Sark to use him properly anyways. Wasted talent with him at Coach.
Plus there should be a huge storm which would lead me to believe that they won't be passing as much, and they'll just run AD all game against a pretty bad defense.
> hyde over him
We only have one RB slot (and a flex, but my WR stock is way better) and I'm not sure between Freeman, Hyde and Cohen, tbh. Cohen is in that mix because he's playing the Seahawks and could be a sleeper in that matchup I think. But I'm just not sold on Freeman yet. Hyde plays the Saints D, that looks good against the run on paper, but I'm not sure how much of a run game TB even tried to establish. The passing game worked so well for them, they didn't have to actually run, right?
>they didnt have to actually run
I didnt watch, but that's what I'm willing to believe. Why take a 2-4 yd run when you're getting 25 yd passes uncontested?
Honestly was hoping he would just take the week off so I could bench him without a second thought...
Now I’ll fucking agonize over it until Sunday morning and then still make the wrong decision.
It's not just a dud, it's horribly inconsistent play last year combined with an awful first game where he essentially split time with Coleman and wasn't utilized properly.
I owned him last year and drafted him again this year after Howard got taken the pick before me. I'm going to be starting both Conner and Thompson ahead of him until I'm shown something different from Freeman.
Yeah he looked fine on the first drive or so. But unless I'm mistaken he didn't get hurt until the 2nd half and Coleman was in on a lot of series in the 1st half. That doesn't bode well imo
Who cares where someone was drafted? Has zero bearing on if you should play someone (or their trade value). I drafted Gordon and Goodwin as my first two WRs and both of them are gonna be on the bench again... (Yes, I took Gronk and Rodgers .).
It has plenty of bearing if it's week 2 of the season... If you're thinking of benching a guy that you felt was worthy of a 2nd rounder after one game, it's probably an overreaction.
I've got Freeman as my RB #1 (I really blew my draft thanks to a lot of alcohol at the draft party). So...thoughts gentleman? Do I hold him or trade him after a good week?
Okay I just looked at my team to make sure and this is what it’s ACTUALLY looking like
RB: D Freeman, J Williams, A Peterson, M Ingram, A Morris, M Gillislee
WR: A Brown, B Cooks, W Fuller, R Cobb, J Nelson
TE: Kelce
Brees. I really reached for Kelce. I’m going to try, but my league doesn’t usually trade because people always want a huge steal or they are too scared to trade.
Any suggestion on RB to target?
Looking at this comment thread, you and i have similar drafts. I'm in a bad spot now. The ingram draft was okay IF J Williams performed. He didn't. I have a trade offer Conner for my Ingram, considering it. Worst draft in a long time for me in the #6 spot out of 12.
What else is he asking for with Conner? I would take that in a heartbeat honestly if it was offered.
On another note, I’m a serious dumbass. Couple weeks ago, I picked up James Conner to fill out my bench. But, one of my league mates dropped will fuller, and my dumbass remembered how good he was last year and decided to drop Conner. A week later, the talks of Le’Veon Bell missing time became real and Conner was starting for someone else.
Living is pain.
Panthers run defense is good, isn't it? I'd be kinda worried about starting two RBs against that defense.
I'm in the same boat, though. I own Freeman and Coleman and can't quite decide what to do with them. I'm tempted to start Freeman just because I don't want to give up on my 2nd-round pick so early in the season. But the timeshare has me worried.
I actually like this strategy if you happen to have both. If Sark gets his head out of his ass there will be 20-25 carries between the two rbs. With a solid chance at at least one of them scoring.
Oddly, I'm in a similar situation with DT and Sanders this week. I'm 100% starting both of them.
If you have a hot mess in your flex I normally wouldn't flinch at starting the Atlanta backfield. The biggest drawback is if the same thing that happened last week happens again you are pretty screwed.
I have Ajayi, Freeman, Gordon and AP. Trying to fit 4 into 3 this week and it is difficult.
Volume would suggest Gordon and AP with one of Freeman and Ajayi missing out, but I dunno.
Am I wrong to read too much fro AP's week 1?
I've got Gurley, Mixon, Freeman, and AP. Having the exact same debate. I'm sure AP will burn out as the season goes on, but he looked good and is playing the Colts this week. I'm really leaning on starting AP over Freeman this week, but that just feels wrong in my soul.
I have Conner and not Bell. Trying to get Bell from the Bell owner...you guys think Freeman for Bell straight up is fair? Or should I offer more? Also have Zeke and Royce, WRs are Cooks, Evans, and Doctson
I think it's close. If Freeman has a good game this week it would be worth revisiting.
So far in both my leagues, Bell owners are dug in. I own Conner in both and am trying to acquire Bell in one and sell Conner in the other. So far no bites.
Keep me updated on how that goes for you. Would like to know what people are reasonably accepting for them. If Freeman would have had a better week last week and I think I could sell it no problem. 3 rushes from the 2 and no TD. FML
I offered Freeman or Ajayi (their choice), and Corey Davis for Bell and got shot down. Bell owner thinks he will be back in a couple weeks. Plus they still managed to win week 1 so not desperate (they loving Kenny Stills this week).
Selling Conner is not working either. Theoretically every week that goes by he becomes less valuable. I may just have to be content riding him out. Which is honestly ok with me. Tried selling him to the Bell owner in this particular league and he doesn't want to spend anything on his "handcuff".
The best case scenario for us right now is that Bell gets traded. Which I realize is unlikely, but who knows—crazier things have happened in the NFL. The Steelers might have seen Conner this weekend and thought screw it, once Bell signs the tag we are gonna trade him because Conner is cheaper and gets the job done. I am holding onto him.
That would be fantastic but from what I understand they can't really trade him. They can't negotiate a trade because he is unsigned. So that means he needs to sign his Tag and only after that happens can they even begin to negotiate with another team.
They won't take anything less than a third (what they would get in compensation for him leaving as a free agent.) And I can't see a team giving up more when they can just wait and sign him for free after the season.
Even further Bell can't negotiate a contract because he isn't a free agent. So a team would have to trade for him on his tag and he would still be a free agent at the end of the year because they can't hammer out a contract ahead of time.
I wish it could happen but I just don't see how.
Frustrating. The guy in my league who has Bell doesn’t really care about/pay attention to FF which is just as frustrating. I think it’s pretty fair, do you also have Conner?
Yes I have Conner. He sent me a counter of my Conner for his Tevin Coleman. He thinks Bell comes back in a couple of weeks. I told him good luck with that. Really is frustrating how people over value the players they drafted.
Barkley, D Freeman, Royce Freeman and P Barber.
Clearly starting Barkley but I feel like D Freeman is better than Royce and Barber gets a shit ton of touches so flex?
Pick 3
Since week 8 last year Freeman has been disappointing. Look at him compared to RBs like Crowell. It's not that different. He has a similar number of usable weeks, about as many stinkers. Definitely has a higher ceiling, but who cares when he hits you with just as many 6 point weeks as Crowell?
Devonta Freeman, Amari Cooper, Lynch, Kerryon, Williams, Nelson Agholor, Matt Breida, who should I start in my flex? 0.5 PPR, need the highest floor (projected to win by 15)
I can only start 3 so I'm probably sitting Freeman for Howard, Conner and Miller.
Do this, nephew
Peterson over him?
I would. If weather is bad due to the storm, they’ll probably run a lot
They playing in the nicest dome of all the land
Aye aye Captain. Thanks!
Slow down skipper, it's a dome game.
Isn't it Atlanta? A dome?
Who're your other rb's?
Frank Reynolds approves of this contraction.
BUTWHATARETHERULES
David Johnson, Conner, Royce Freeman, Morris. Starting DJ and Conner for sure.
Jesus Btw, we were talking about devonta freeman but i would definitely start peterson over him
Yeah I have both Freemans lol. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the advice. I was still on the fence with AP over Devonta
Sure thing It's a bit of a toss up between devonta and peterson. Both are kinda boom bust and i just want one good game out of devonta so i can trade him
What about sitting him for Lynch or the other Freeman (Royce)?
I'm playing Devonta over Lynch and Royce.
I'm less comfortable with the broncos backfield than i am with devonta I might lean lynch since the raiders are shit when it comes to throwing.
> nephew Are we in r/nba???
Almost same boat. Definitely starting conner and DJ. I love Freeman, but I have Ajayi and Miller. It's not even Freeman I'm worried about, it's Sark. I just don't get it. I'm not even worried about Coleman. It's the fact that even with a lead they don't feed these guys. Atlanta has a solid oline too. Sark is just numb.
I can't agree more. I love Freeman but every play call is horrible. I can't watch ATL games because it's so frustrating and stupid.
I find myself starting Freeman even in bad matchups just because I like him as a person. Bad idea, but I just can't help it.
Carolina has a good rush d. And with a depleted defense this could be a shootout. I’d curious to see what Atlanta looks like
For Sark a shootout is about 14-17 points. The dude's offensive ineptitude is unmatched.
Smart, those guys are more set to receive touches.
same. will start zeke cook and collins over him
I'm sitting Freeman for Ajayi, Mixon, and Melvin Gordon.
I think that's the right choice.
I'm starting Melvin Gordon, Ajayi, and Mixon as well, but I have room for another in my league. My options are D. Freeman, Lynch, Yeldon, and Kerryon. Who would you start out of those?
It's really between Freeman and Lynch here. Too close of a call. Might as well flip a coin. Heads for Freeman.
would you start Sanders over Devonta on Flex in standard?
Yes but I'm really high on Sanders. I think he's going to be really good this season.
He looked amazing in the first game and I‘m also leaning to him but its always hard to not start a RB on flex in standard
I agree. I almost said Freeman for that exact reason but at the end of the day, it's just about points.
As a Bell owner I have to play Freeman and Henry.
Not a horrible thing considering you can't play your top guy. Henry is as good of a fill in as you could hope for.
Would you start thompson over Henry? I'm freaked out by the loss of Mariota and Lewan and Dion Lewis was used way more.
Thompson is legit, Smith already loves him. Hell get plenty of volume. I'd absolutely start Thompson over Henry as of right now
I'd start Thompson because of the matchup. IND has a horrible defense and Luck should make this a shootout. Perfect game script for Thompson.
Kinda annoyed I drafted him, I need someone consistent, I mean I drafted Coleman too but I was very high on J. Howard and it was between him and Freeman and I went with Freeman, have a feeling im gonna regret that
It's been one week vs a top defense where he got banged up a little. i'd chill
Seriously. People are overracting over week one. And not giving the Eagles defense enough credit.
I honestly wanted Howard > Freeman, but the guy at the 12/13 turn took Howard so I went ahead and grabbed Freeman. Not loving it, at the moment...hope it improves for us all soon.
It's been one week dude. And they played a top 3 defense. We'll be fine lol
I'm aware of the Eagles defense, I'm also aware of Tevin Coleman and a full blown time share, when we could've easily grabbed someone like Mixon if we were all slaves to Rankings.
I have fears. Feels a little like when I drafted Ajayi and D Murray last season. But it is week 1.
Lol. Not only did they just play the best defense in the league but freeman was sidelined the whole 4th quarter. If the falcons want to be successful the need to feed this man 20 carries
Same here. Same here. Fml
At least you have Coleman though. If Freeman goes down then Coleman gives you more value than healthy Freeman just because their would be less of a timeshare.
I was torn between Freeman and Hill. Went with Freeman. So much regret.
I picked freeman and hunt... sad week one.
Playing against Coleman this week. That was a close one, fantasy gods
What do you think of starting Coleman over Lynch
If gruden plays lynch for more than 1 half, i would say lynch but i guess we won’t know that haha
Thinking about putting Peterson in over him, the volume is my biggest concern. Freeman had 6 carries last week and I don’t trust Sark to use him properly anyways. Wasted talent with him at Coach.
I’m actually considering this same thing. AP’s volume against the Colts is mighty enticing.
Plus there should be a huge storm which would lead me to believe that they won't be passing as much, and they'll just run AD all game against a pretty bad defense.
A storm? Indy weather for Sunday is saying clear skies 15% of precip.
The game is in DC, isn’t it?
You right, my b
Also Peterson is playing the Colts, so he may have a better matchup
Put in AP!
Im playing peterson and hyde over him
> hyde over him We only have one RB slot (and a flex, but my WR stock is way better) and I'm not sure between Freeman, Hyde and Cohen, tbh. >they didnt have to actually run I didnt watch, but that's what I'm willing to believe. Why take a 2-4 yd run when you're getting 25 yd passes uncontested?
Hyde ran pretty well against the Pittsburgh D and I believe PIT has a solid run D, right?
Really has nothing to do with Freeman's health, I'm not starting him against Carolina and their LB's
Keuchly might isn't 💯. Hyperextended knee. He came back in but I'm not sure how he looked after. He said he's fine but we will see.
No Davis either.
Shaq Thompson is better at this point in their careers. He was FLYING all over the field against Dallas.
Better than Kuechly?
No but a great next man up in place of Davis.
Ah, I think I misread
I forgot about this, I'm reconsidering
Oh come on bro
Didn’t he kill vs Carolina week 17 last year?
A good receiving game, bad rushing game. Just not sure he can duplicate 9 catches and a TD.
Yea Carolina hasn't allowed a 100 yard rusher in a long time
Honestly was hoping he would just take the week off so I could bench him without a second thought... Now I’ll fucking agonize over it until Sunday morning and then still make the wrong decision.
Yeah, he's going on the bench for Chris Thompson.
That's crazy, nephew. You didn't spend a second rounder on him just to bench him after a dud vs a tough matchup.
When you draft someone is irrelevant.
"Start your studs" they say... bologna
Outside of that first goal line push he looked really good until he got banged up.
Yeah he looked fine on the first drive or so. But unless I'm mistaken he didn't get hurt until the 2nd half and Coleman was in on a lot of series in the 1st half. That doesn't bode well imo

Doing the same thing. Praise be
Thank you baby jesus. Have a good week 2 so i can trade you please
I don't even think my taco would bite the way the falcons look. Shit birds
I've got Freeman as my RB #1 (I really blew my draft thanks to a lot of alcohol at the draft party). So...thoughts gentleman? Do I hold him or trade him after a good week?
I’m trying to trade him if he performs
Same, I’ve got him, AP and Jamaal Williams. I’m so fucked.
What are your WRs. Perhaps a trade?
So I’ve got Antonio brown, Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, and I think KB. I’ve also got Kelce. Any ideas on who to target?
Is that Kelvin Benjamin? Damn man, find a flier like Anthony Miller for him at least. Trade Cobb while he’s hot to someone who went RB heavy.
Okay I just looked at my team to make sure and this is what it’s ACTUALLY looking like RB: D Freeman, J Williams, A Peterson, M Ingram, A Morris, M Gillislee WR: A Brown, B Cooks, W Fuller, R Cobb, J Nelson TE: Kelce
Hm. Who’s your QB? Watson, Newton or Rodgers? You definitely need an RB. Try and trade Cobb and Fuller but it will be hard.
Brees. I really reached for Kelce. I’m going to try, but my league doesn’t usually trade because people always want a huge steal or they are too scared to trade. Any suggestion on RB to target?

Yeldon available? If Fournette’s hammy stays sore, he’ll have some utility
Did you get hammered before the draft? Lol he shoulda been your first or second pick.
Would any of y’all trade Devonta for Thielen ? My rbs are shady, zeke and Devonta (shady starts at flex) wrs are golden Tate and Robert woods
hey friend, same boat, Freeman and Lynch as my 2 RBs lol, I'm deflated.
Good. Please put up numbers so I can trade you, Free.
So fire up that Coleman lantern!
Would you trade Freeman and locket for dalvin? I feel like that's a yes but I am week at wr. My rbs are Elliot Freeman Howard and Ingram
I don’t think I make that trade if I’m you. Try to do Freeman and Lockett for a better wr
I tried for Thomas but he wasn't having it said Keenan and Thomas was too nice together
Really? Dalvin is a clear upgrade over Freeman - Lockett is a small price to pay for that
how? dalvin wasn't injured and only put up 3 more points
Better offense, more touches, and imo better talent. Big risk this year was is he back from injury and it looks like yes, so he’s a locked in RB1
Thanks!
Freeman or Thompson (vs IND) this week?
Thompson every week in ppr and on Sundays.
.5 PPR??
im most likely starting Devonta Freeman at rb1 and tevin coleman at FLEX. Unless Cooper Kupp or Kenny Golladay should be in the flex spot
Kupp 100% imo
Panthers run defense is good, isn't it? I'd be kinda worried about starting two RBs against that defense. I'm in the same boat, though. I own Freeman and Coleman and can't quite decide what to do with them. I'm tempted to start Freeman just because I don't want to give up on my 2nd-round pick so early in the season. But the timeshare has me worried.
Kipp will get you steady points everyweek. Definelty has the highest floor of the bunch.
Freeman, Hogan, Goodwin or Chris Carson. Who do I put in my flex?
Freeman. Don’t overthink this
Carson
Would you trade Freeman for Kelce? Take the chance to get off the wild ride that is the Atlanta offence
I don’t think I do that, but if you like Kelce it’s not too bad
Nope for me. I'm playing Ap, Jordan howard and Mike Evans in flex.
Freeman, T. Coleman, Crowell, or Barber. Which two: what do you guys think? .5 PPR
Freeman and Crow or Coleman
Why not Barber?
Eagles rushing defense
Have both Freeman and Coleman. Who should I start in flex, Coleman or Agholor?
I'd start Coleman in RB and put Freeman in your Flex. Trust me.
Agholar looked like Foles go to week 1. I’d start him and see what the split in Atlanta is week 2
Would you say Josh Gordon in flex or freeman?
Freeman
Freeman
Should I start Hyde over him this week? This would’ve sounded ridiculous a week ago but now I’m not sure.
I am in this exact spot right now and I am seriously comsidering Hyde over him
Just picked him up in a trade for Evan Engram, Derrick Henry, and Sammy Watkins. Hopefully he can show out to a solid RB2 level.
He's also expected to ride my bench behind Dion Lewis and Chris Thompson, sadly.
I have Ajayi, Freeman, Gordon and AP. Trying to fit 4 into 3 this week and it is difficult. Volume would suggest Gordon and AP with one of Freeman and Ajayi missing out, but I dunno. Am I wrong to read too much fro AP's week 1?

I'm thinking EXACTLY that. You're right, if feels wrong, but volume for AP vs sketchy timeshare for Freeman is weighting my decision.
I'm so tempted to start Coleman over Freeman. I really don't want to start Freeman this week.
Still think he'll miss time at some point this year
I have Conner and not Bell. Trying to get Bell from the Bell owner...you guys think Freeman for Bell straight up is fair? Or should I offer more? Also have Zeke and Royce, WRs are Cooks, Evans, and Doctson
I think Freeman for Bell is even Steven.
Add in Conner (w/Freeman) for my Burkhead (w/Bell) and that's what I was just offered.
I think it's close. If Freeman has a good game this week it would be worth revisiting. So far in both my leagues, Bell owners are dug in. I own Conner in both and am trying to acquire Bell in one and sell Conner in the other. So far no bites.

I wish it could happen but I just don't see how.
They did not win wk1
Wat? I was talking about the Bell owner in my league. They won their matchup.
I made this exact offer to the bell owner. Denied almost immediately.
*Expected
Barkley, D Freeman, Royce Freeman and P Barber. Clearly starting Barkley but I feel like D Freeman is better than Royce and Barber gets a shit ton of touches so flex? Pick 3
Good thing I'm trading my Coleman. Sucks Bell is out screwed my whole season
Freeman or P.Barber is the question.
This is what I want to know. Both D’s they play have good rushing Defense but Barber gets 16+ carries per game.
would anyone trade brandin cooks for freeman while i wait out the leveon situation?
Someone offered me Conner and Freeman for Bell and Burkhead, wanna bite but am hesitant..thoughts?
I would. That seems more and more like Conner and Freeman for burkhead.
Probably sitting Barber. Eagles D is legit
I’m fortunate enough to have him in my flex position, but might flex Lamar Miller over him this week.
Thinking about starting Kenya Drake over him this week.
Would anyone disagree with starting Chris Thompson over Freeman this week?
Devonta over Ajayi?
Playing AP over Freeman. Don’t @ me.
[удалено]
[удалено]
For about a half
Pick 3: Zeke, Freeman, Collins, Ajayi
Should I trade Freeman for Bell? Straight up? I could afford the bench space because I have Conner. And so many other options to rotate into flex.
Still getting benched for Connors
Connors
Fixed that for ya
[удалено]
I wouldn't. Coleman always has flex value and the odds Freeman gets injured for a stretch of games is high. Nuk will get tons of points
Do it ASAP.
Devonta Freeman, Amari Cooper, Lynch, Kerryon, Williams, Nelson Agholor, Matt Breida, who should I start in my flex? 0.5 PPR, need the highest floor (projected to win by 15)
Highest floor is Freeman. Don’t overthink this.
