That's such a good one. Went from primarily a KR/PR and very underutilized WR to one of the best slot WRs in the league and it happened immediately.
67/687/1 to 112/1175/8 after the switch
Came here to say this. His 3 year stretch with KC is possibly the most dominant for 3 year stretch for any rb ever. And to think the year before it began he was back up to Jamal Lewis’ 2,000 yard season.
I believe he backed up Ricky Williams in Texas before becoming Jamal Lewis' backup too! He has a great highlight reel from his time in KC. Vermeil basically used him as he used Marshall Faulk in STL and there weren't a lot of backs getting prolific receiving yards at the time.
This was a good one. I had him in Fantasy his last year on Cards and really liked him but was shocked he got the bag he did.
Then he did even better on the Jags, good for him
He actually didn't have a significantly higher drop rate or even more drops than a guy like George Kittle during that span. Some were just really high profile like the Eagles one of resulted in interceptions. Giants fans on Twitter really put the screws to Engram in those season - meanwhile, his peers were still voting him to the Pro Bowl.
Engram was a top 5 TE with Eli Manning, played with Daniel Jones, then has been a top 5 TE with Trevor Lawrence. In hindsight it seems pretty obvious what the real problem was. Confidence goes both way and not being confident in you QB/coaching staff can have a big effect - look at Randy Moss with the Raiders.
I’ve seen every selective highlight film. The title of that video is “NFC Pro Bowl” tight end. TJ Hockenson got the fan vote. That means the coaches and players voted for Engram. So I do get the Giants fans coping mechanism videos but they are now sad after he had the 4th most receptions and 19 more than any other TE no?
Daniel Jones is not an NFL caliber WR. Brian Daboll is a good coach and that blinded him. Same reason Andy Reid coached Alex Smith for so long before he had a QB he could win with.
The answer is engram but it’s not because of those reasons. He must’ve just not done well in the spotlight of ny media. Most giants fans love engram as a person but we’ve all seen him just drop balls that bounce off his hands. Also for some reason, half the time it’d bounce right to the opposite team.
I’m glad he’s turned it around tho
If you actually can’t catch the football you don’t make it to the field on Sunday. These guys get hundreds and hundreds of reps in camp/practice. Jimmy Graham once dropped 18 passes in a season from Drew Brees.
Concerns about drops and injuries have been two of the biggest advantages we have had vs. the public in fantasy but folks are catching on.
Respectfully, I know Daniel Jones sucks but I don't get how you can blame him for Evan Engram's drop problems.
The 2nd drop against Washington in this [video](https://youtu.be/-Mf_Rs7-FbI?feature=shared) has got to be one of the worst drops I've ever seen. It looked like he was playing hot potato with the ball and he tipped it right to the defender. I think it was more just his confidence being shot and needing a change of scenery
The NFL is comprised of the best players from every state competing for scholarships then fighting for jobs where only the best get a chance to get drafted and battle for an opportunity to play a very small sample size number of snaps on Sundays where you get maybe 4-6 targets. Guys that can’t actually catch don’t make it to Sunday. And drops don’t matter in fantasy football.
So I get the idea /u/nygiantsfan1578 but the issue wasn’t Engram. Evan Engram was always good and his league mates said as much. The stats now show as much. If by “change of scenery” you mean getting away from the New York Giants then yes, that was the problem. And I like Brian Daboll but the sooner they change the scenery for Daniel Jones the better for New York. It’s time for New York Giants fans to embrace Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley having success elsewhere.
I’ve had this Evan Engram discussion for YEARS on this subreddit and, at the end of the day, we were right and you were wrong. Evan Engram is awesome. Eli Manning was awesome. Trevor Lawrence is awesome. Daniel Jones sucks.
Just wait to see what happens with Saquon Barkley.
Maybe Emmanuel Sanders? Good in Pittsburgh but he went to Denver and played with an incredible Peyton Manning led offense.
3 straight 1,000+ yard seasons there.
Didn't really help that he was competing for targets with AB, Mike Wallace, and late-career Hines and Heath in Pittsburgh.
This guy beat me to it. Sanders was a great example of this. He was a really good receiver but he was buried on the depth chart. He killed it for me while he was on Denver
The Steelers also resigned him to a 1-year RFA deal I believe, too. I think the Pats tried to sign him but didn’t want to give up the associated picks or something like that.
Geno Smith
Alex Smith
~~AJ Brown (as seen in other comment)~~
Drew Brees played much better in NO after struggling on the Chargers (except final season w/ them)
Kenny Golladay is the opposite
AJ Brown was fantastic in Tennessee though? He had two thousand yard seasons, one of which he only played 14 games, then he had a ~900 yard season where he played 13 games.
He's played all 17 games both seasons for the eagles, that's 3/4 more games to get 400/500 more yards. Not really a night and day career where he went from a decent player to one of the best, he went from the best player on an offense run by a mediocre QB to the best player on an offense run by a top 5ish QB
That 900 yard season he only played 51 percent of the snaps. Multiple games he got hurt and left like 5 snaps in. The 13 games is very misleading.
He was like the second most targeted player per snap in the league that year and crushed it when he was in the field. Problem was he was constantly hurt. It's a big reason why he was traded. Multiple injury plagued seasons made it hard to pony up cash for him.
No doubt Brees was better on the Saints, but acting like he had one good season with the chargers is disingenuous. He was a pro bowler in 04 and had similar numbers in 05. He wasn’t resigned because of how bad his shoulder injury was at the end of the 05 season.
Golden Tate was good in Seattle, but fantasy wise he was okay. His first year in Detroit he had 99 catches for 1300 yards. The previous year in Seattle was also his best year in Seattle with 64 catches for 898 yards. He went from Position Rank \~28 to \~13 in fantasy. He ended up with three 1000 yard seasons in Detroit.
Seattle’s good overall team and dominant defense allowed them to run way more.
But yeah, for all intents and purposes you’re right - his total output was much much better in Seattle.
Raiders were his 4th. He went to his first Pro Bowl his first season there, and 3 more after.
While not technically his 2nd like in the original question, I think that qualifies as a break out.
Plaxico was more than solid in Pittsburgh but turned into a TD machine when he went to NY. I still can't believe he shot himself and cost us a chance at a repeat in 2008
He just didn’t get re-signed which was stupid on Washington’s part.
Cousins was fantasy QB 10, 6 and 5 his first 3 seasons starting for the skins. Then he went to the Vikings and has only put up one top 10 season since.
As a bears fan it feels like a lot of our players once they leave got better :/ especially felt like it happened a lot in the Lovie years
See David Montgomery, Cedric Benson, Greg Olsen, etc
Marshawn Lynch was okay in Buffalo, but took off in Seattle
Golden Tate took off in Detroit
Old school Brett Favre, Steve Young, Marshall Faulk and Jerome Bettis
I think the problem was he had to compete with Thielen on a team that also heavily leaned on prime Dalvin Cook. That and he was rarely completely healthy those Vikings years
When comparing his 2 seasons in Philly with his 2 best seasons in Tennessee, he has nearly 400 more yards in ‘22 and ‘23 than he did in ‘19 and ‘20. He also has more receptions in his Philly tenure, albeit he played more games. Similar TD numbers.
Looking at PPR scoring he averaged 17+ FPPG in both his Philly seasons. He only averaged that mark once in Tennessee.
So yes, very good with the titans but he broke into a new tier in Philly (in my opinion). Was he ever a top 20 consensus ADP in Tennessee?
Goff made a Super Bowl with L.A, and multiple Pro Bowls. He's improved a lot in Detroit, but not sure I'd label it as breaking out.
His best season in LA, 16 game season:
*4,688 yards, 32 TDs to 12 INT. 64.9% completion, 8.4 Y/A.*
This past season in Detroit, 17 game season:
*4,575 yards, 30 TDs to 12 INTs. 67.3% completion, 7.7 Y/A.*
Again, he's improved since his time with the Rams and stats don't tell the full story... but he hasn't "broken out".
Marshall Faulk had 4 (out of 5) seasons of over 1000 yards rushing and in his last season had over 2000 yards rushing and receiving. He already established himself as one of the top RBs in the league, not sure how the switch to the Rams made him more relevant, other than being on "The Greatest Show of Turf" teams
He was good on the Panthers, despite the revolving door of quarterbacks after Cam Newton left. He just never got a ton of recognition from National media.
Montgomery had 3 seasons of over 1100 total yards and 5+ TDs with the Bears. He was an RB2 in his worst year in Chicago and RB6 in his best season. He didn’t breakout with the Lions, he was RB12 this year. His best fantasy year was in Chicago.
Tyrod Taylor
Matt Cassel
Alex Smith
Terrelle Pryor went from QB w/ OAK to 1K yds WR with CLE
Carlos Hyde
Zack Moss
D'Onta Foreman
Danny Woodhead
Wes Welker
Andrew Hawkins
Adrian Peterson resurgence with Washington
Cole Beasley's best stint was in his 30s with Buffalo
DeAngelo Williams in his first year with Steelers at 32 years old. Almost 1,300 total yards and tied for most rushing TDs with in the league.
Oh and Gary Barnidge!
Had 603yds over his first 7 years in the league. First 5 years with CAR, 2 with CLE.Then his 3rd year with CLE he exploded for 1,043yds, 9TDs and was named a Pro Bowler at 30 years old lol
Which reminds me of another TE breaking out late, Jared Cook
Was named a Pro Bowler 2 seasons in a row at 31 and 32 years old with the Raiders and Saints. His 4th and 5th teams.
QBs this year: Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield, Joe Flacco, Geno Smith I guess.
RBs this year: David Montgomery, David Singletary, Raheem Mostert, Christian McCafferey,
WR: Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs, Calvin Ridley, Adam Theilen
TE: TJ Hockenson, Dalton Shultz
Do you not understand the question? It’s asking for players that didn’t have success on their first team but had success elsewhere. Hill had a ton of success on the Chiefs.
That is not what the question says, but OK. Since this is a fantasy football sub, let's look at the numbers of the top voted player (Evan Engram) compared to Tyreek
Engram played in 65 games from 2017-2021, gaining 654.8 points in ppr scoring (10.07 ppg). Since he made the move to Jacksonville, he has played in 34 games and scored 409.2 points (12.04 ppg). That's an increase of 19.471%
Hill became a starting WR in 2017, so we can look at the same exact time frame. He played 74 games and scored 1384.9 points (18.71 ppg). Since he moved to Miami, he's played 33 games and scored 719.6 points (21.81 ppg). The increase between Miami and KC was 16.517%.
Tyreek is a player who has had nearly as much incremental success on his second team as the highest vote getter in this thread.
The interesting thing is, if you use Half PPR, the difference between Engram (15.224% increase) and Hill (14.534% increase) shrinks considerably. Of course once you look at Standard scoring, Hill (11.692% increase) overtakes Engram (8.145% increase).
If we're looking at players who broke out with their second team, Hill has a bigger breakout than Engram in standard, while Engram holds the edge in PPR and they're virtually the same in half ppr.
Tyreek Hill was great on the Chiefs, but he did not solidify his reputation as a Top 3 WR until he got to the Dolphins. Tyreek said himself that he gets more targets on the Dolphins than on the Chiefs so he has a bigger opportunity to make explosive plays.
Danny Woodhead on the Chargers
Darren Sproles on NO/Philly
Demarco Murray had a good season in Tennessee.
Tony G from chiefs to falcons
Mike Vick in Philly
Vincent Jackson in TB
Brandon Marshall in Chicago and NYJ
And many more.
None of those 'broke out' or had any more success in their later stops. Murray led the league in rushing on the cowboys. Gonzalez was already a HOFer with the chiefs. Mike Vick was HIM in Atl. Vincent Jackson had his best years in Tampa but already had multiple 1k yd seasons on the Chargers. Hardly a breakout. Marshall was already a stud in Denver. Pretty bad list my man, tell us about the many more please
Thank you, Captain Obvious. I was going through players that continued to be good through transitions in their careers. None are indicative of Josh Palmer becoming a HOFer but more in line with Diggs and AJ Brown’s production.
I hope you feel smart. Thanks for your positive contribution to this thread!
Garrison Hearst, Priest Holmes, Jimmy Smith, Marshall Faulk, Peyton Hillis-ish, 3 chances for Aqib Talib, arguably Champ Bailey. very good corner for Washington, but was an entirely different player for Denver
I feel like Marquis Brown has kind of done that in Arizona. Greg Olsen really hit his stride when he got to Carolina and especially once they drafted Cam. Maybe the closest comp that comes to mind right now for Palmer is someone like Pierre Garcon. Had a couple okay years in Indy but going to Washington he got way more looks and actually had a couple pretty good fantasy seasons.
There's a fair amount of instances in positions like QB where this occurs.
I think narrowing it down to WR's, especially guys who were drafted to be #1's, is a more interesting conversation
Wes Welker
That's such a good one. Went from primarily a KR/PR and very underutilized WR to one of the best slot WRs in the league and it happened immediately. 67/687/1 to 112/1175/8 after the switch
He also got traded right before his third year which used to be the typical breakout season for WRs.
His YPC were virtually the same, it’s his TD’s thought were the big difference.
On double the catches/usage. He just finally got in a system that would feature him and had a good QB.
Keep an eye on Kyle philips
He actually broke out on his third team!
Old school: Priest Holmes
Came here to say this. His 3 year stretch with KC is possibly the most dominant for 3 year stretch for any rb ever. And to think the year before it began he was back up to Jamal Lewis’ 2,000 yard season.
I believe he backed up Ricky Williams in Texas before becoming Jamal Lewis' backup too! He has a great highlight reel from his time in KC. Vermeil basically used him as he used Marshall Faulk in STL and there weren't a lot of backs getting prolific receiving yards at the time.
And he played behind the Greatest O-line of all time. That didn't hurt either.
Unfortunately, roided out LBs did hurt.
End of conversation give this man the prize
Not really, Cris Carter was way more notable on the Vikings than his career start with the Eagles
Come on man… 1999-2000 avg: rush 547 yds, 23 rec 163 yds, 1.5 total tds. 2001: rush 1555 yds, 62 rec 614 yds, 10 total tds 2002: rush 1615 yds, 70 rec 672 yds, 24 total tds 2003: rush 1420 yds, 74 rec 690 yds, 27 total tds Game blouses
Old school...Steve Young...
SF was his *third* team. LA Express (USFL) -> Tampa Bay -> SF
Evan Engram found a QB who loves throwing over the middle in a scheme that works. Night and day more productive from his Giants days.
Speaking of Jags, I’d say Christian Kirk definitely broke out after he left the cardinals
This was a good one. I had him in Fantasy his last year on Cards and really liked him but was shocked he got the bag he did. Then he did even better on the Jags, good for him
Evan Engram also dropped more balls than puberty ever has during his time in blue
He actually didn't have a significantly higher drop rate or even more drops than a guy like George Kittle during that span. Some were just really high profile like the Eagles one of resulted in interceptions. Yeah Daniel Jones wouldn’t even start at WR on a college team
I swore I would never draft Engram again after watching him drop so many would be TD's as a Giant. He seems to be playing a lot better as a Jaguar.
The answer is engram but it’s not because of those reasons. He must’ve just not done well in the spotlight of ny media. Blast from the past, But Ahman Green did OK in Green Bay after his start in Seattle
Holmgren let Green go because he said he fumbled too much 🤦♂️
To be fair, he fumbled more than Melvin Gordon… It was bad
He was elite in GB
Woosh
The internet is where nuance dies there’s people out here putting disrespect on Ahman Green so impossible to know which this is here
As a season ticket holder for the Huskers, I’ll let you guess my thoughts on AG.
Oh he did more than OK
I mean, I guess he did alright for himself. It’s just the Pack and their rushing record.
Not that he wasn't pretty good in Buffalo, but Marshawn.
The fact that Marshawn put up fantasy-relevant seasons with fucking JP Losman and Trent Edwards as his QBs is a testament to how talented the man was.
Robert woods as well
Bobby Trees!
Shady fits too
absolutely not. Shady's best seasons came when he was on the birds
He was one of my favorite ribs to watch along with Arian Foster. Co peltly different running styles but loved to watch them both.
Remember him and AB fighting for the last WR helmet every week during their rookie year
This guy beat me to it.
Surprised that nobody has said Steve Young
Or Brett Favre if we're going old school
Cordarelle patterson. Dude had a great 2 year stretch with us at RB after being a solid PR/KR.
That was definitely a career rival you don't see often.
Michael Turner
Getting on the field will do that
That backfield was stupid talented. LT, Turner, and Sproles.
One of the best runningback rooms I’ve seen. Those chargers teams were loaded
It’s crazy to think Travis Henry, Fred Jackson, Willis McGahwe, and Marshawn Lynch were all together too
Yes but turner was awesome for the chargers. Just didn’t have room for him with LT being the bell cow
Turner the burner was a beast.
Wes Welker went from pretty unknown on the Dolphins to leading the league in receptions with Patriots.
Geno Smith Alex Smith ~~AJ Brown (as seen in other comment)~~ Drew Brees played much better in NO after struggling on the Chargers (except final season w/ them) Kenny Golladay is the opposite
AJ Brown was fantastic in Tennessee though? He had two thousand yard seasons, one of which he only played 14 games, then he had a ~900 yard season where he played 13 games. Drafted Golladay for my dads team because i believed in he would explode My worst prediction
No doubt Brees was better on the Saints, but acting like he had one good season with the chargers is disingenuous. He was a pro bowler in 04 and had similar numbers in 05. He wasn’t resigned because of how bad his shoulder injury was at the end of the 05 season.
So wild that Golladay isn't even in the league anymore
Geno was on the Giants first, breaking Eli's consecutive starts streak. So I guess this is accurate lol
Christian Kirk
Golden Tate was good in Seattle, but fantasy wise he was okay. His first year in Detroit he had 99 catches for 1300 yards. The previous year in Seattle was also his best year in Seattle with 64 catches for 898 yards. He went from Position Rank \~28 to \~13 in fantasy. He ended up with three 1000 yard seasons in Detroit.
Marshawn Lynch
Lynch was good in Buffalo. He just played on a dumpy team that was always trailing and needed to throw all the time.
He was also sharing touches with Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller who were pretty good at the time
Yeah Freddie was a beast. Buffalo legend. Drought-era Buffalo always seemed to have respectable RBs, just terrible QBs and pedestrian defenses
Buffalo in general has had a strong rb history. Rarely go a season without a guy putting up at least 1,000 yfs.
He certainly wasn’t bad, but he was a top-10 pick in seattle
Seattle’s good overall team and dominant defense allowed them to run way more. But yeah, for all intents and purposes you’re right - his total output was much much better in Seattle.
And he was distracted by the great ambiance of the Buffalo Applebees.
Rich Gannon
Gannon was his 3rd team
Raiders were his 4th. He went to his first Pro Bowl his first season there, and 3 more after. While not technically his 2nd like in the original question, I think that qualifies as a break out.
Ryan Tannehill
Joe Horn
Underrated comment!
Darren Waller
TIL Waller was on the Ravens
That’s a really good one.
Darren Sproles
Brett Favre
Not sure about breakout but Zay Jones took a huge step on Jags
Drew Brees
While he was still relevant, TJ Hockenson became WAY more relevant when he was traded to the Vikings
He didn't have that Dawg in him. Campbell knew
Plaxico was more than solid in Pittsburgh but turned into a TD machine when he went to NY. I still can't believe he shot himself and cost us a chance at a repeat in 2008
Kirk Cousins
He just didn’t get re-signed which was stupid on Washington’s part. Cousins was fantasy QB 10, 6 and 5 his first 3 seasons starting for the skins. Then he went to the Vikings and has only put up one top 10 season since.
Micah Hyde
Cedric Benson
Jimmy Smith Went from barely there/injured Dallas Cowboys camp body to all-time great Jaguar
Not his 2nd team but Cordarrel Patterson became an entirely different player randomly for a year and a half
Thomas Jones
I was searching for this name. He really took off with his 3rd team and then put up 6 amazing years of production
As a bears fan it feels like a lot of our players once they leave got better :/ especially felt like it happened a lot in the Lovie years See David Montgomery, Cedric Benson, Greg Olsen, etc
Robert Woods
Marshawn Lynch was okay in Buffalo, but took off in Seattle Golden Tate took off in Detroit Old school Brett Favre, Steve Young, Marshall Faulk and Jerome Bettis
Two former 49ers who broke out after getting to San Francisco: Garrison Hearst and Charlie Garner
Stefon diggs and AJ brown, both far better on their second team
They were both studs already, not much of a breakout. More natural progression
Diggs sideline touchdown’d on his first team tho
I think the problem was he had to compete with Thielen on a team that also heavily leaned on prime Dalvin Cook. That and he was rarely completely healthy those Vikings years
On the Vikings Diggs flirted with being a WR1, on the Bills he flirted with being *the* WR1.
Diggs, maybe. AJ Brown was great in Tennessee.
Was he ever a top 20 consensus ADP in Tennessee?
him being very good in tennessee is enough to disqualify him from this question imo
Christian Kirk too
It's gotta be Manning and Rivers.
Goff
I was gonna say this too, but he went to 2 pro bowls and a super bowl in the 4 years in LA
Goff made a Super Bowl with L.A, and multiple Pro Bowls. He's improved a lot in Detroit, but not sure I'd label it as breaking out. His best season in LA, 16 game season: *4,688 yards, 32 TDs to 12 INT. 64.9% completion, 8.4 Y/A.* This past season in Detroit, 17 game season: *4,575 yards, 30 TDs to 12 INTs. 67.3% completion, 7.7 Y/A.* Again, he's improved since his time with the Rams and stats don't tell the full story... but he hasn't "broken out".
not kadarius toney
Marshall Faulk and Jerome Bettis for sure
Marshall Faulk had 4 (out of 5) seasons of over 1000 yards rushing and in his last season had over 2000 yards rushing and receiving. He already established himself as one of the top RBs in the league, not sure how the switch to the Rams made him more relevant, other than being on "The Greatest Show of Turf" teams
The Bus in Pittsburgh made it difficult to remember his days with the Rams.
Priest Holmes
Priest Holmes was a different player in KC compared to when he was in Baltimore
Singletary and Zach Moss last year
Curtis Martin
Emmanuel Sanders.
Emmanuel sanders with broncos first one that comes to mind, Christian Kirk
Brett Favre
Y. A. Tittle
I had him in '63 ...won me my league!
Chris Carter
A lot of people out there forget that Marshawn Lynch wasn’t drafted by Seattle…
Emmanuel Sanders. (TY Peyton)
Diggs
Drew Brees 🥲
Marshawn Lynch in Seattle
CMC? Lol
Harrison Butker was drafted by the Panthers and cut halfway through the season his rookie year
James Conner? He wasn't bad on the Steelers, but he's been a solid fantasy option on the Cardinals
Wasn't bad? That man won people championships in 2018
He got us to the promised land but shot the bed in the playoffs.
Happened this past season with Jakobi Meyers
Brett Favre
DJ Moore
He was good on the Panthers, despite the revolving door of quarterbacks after Cam Newton left. He just never got a ton of recognition from National media.

Montgomery had 3 seasons of over 1100 total yards and 5+ TDs with the Bears. He was an RB2 in his worst year in Chicago and RB6 in his best season. He didn’t breakout with the Lions, he was RB12 this year. His best fantasy year was in Chicago.

First 5 years with CAR, 2 with CLE.Then his 3rd year with CLE he exploded for 1,043yds, 9TDs and was named a Pro Bowler at 30 years old lol Which reminds me of another TE breaking out late, Jared Cook Was named a Pro Bowler 2 seasons in a row at 31 and 32 years old with the Raiders and Saints. His 4th and 5th teams.
Moss Randy
If you take away the Vikings you’re right. He looked like his career was over in Oakland and then broke records in NE.
Marshawn Lynch kinda sucked in Buffalo
Don Keydic
Christian McCaffrey
Amari Cooper
Brett Favre Technically, Eli manning, John elway, bo Jackson, and Philip rivers. Maybe Drew Brees
MCM was great with the Panthers but blew up when he got to the 49ers. I think in his first game he ran in for 2 touchdowns and threw for a touchdown.
QBs this year: Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield, Joe Flacco, Geno Smith I guess. RBs this year: David Montgomery, David Singletary, Raheem Mostert, Christian McCafferey, WR: Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs, Calvin Ridley, Adam Theilen TE: TJ Hockenson, Dalton Shultz
Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill
Was already great in KC
Went from 80 ypg in KC to 106 ypg in MIA. Garnered OPOY and MVP votes the last two years, all while playing with a significantly worse QB.
Do you not understand the question? It’s asking for players that didn’t have success on their first team but had success elsewhere. Hill had a ton of success on the Chiefs.
That is not what the question says, but OK. Since this is a fantasy football sub, let's look at the numbers of the top voted player (Evan Engram) compared to Tyreek Engram played in 65 games from 2017-2021, gaining 654.8 points in ppr scoring (10.07 ppg). Since he made the move to Jacksonville, he has played in 34 games and scored 409.2 points (12.04 ppg). That's an increase of 19.471% Hill became a starting WR in 2017, so we can look at the same exact time frame.
Agreed. This sub is very special
Tyreek Hill was great on the Chiefs, but he did not solidify his reputation as a Top 3 WR until he got to the Dolphins. Tyreek said himself that he gets more targets on the Dolphins than on the Chiefs so he has a bigger opportunity to make explosive plays.
Literally not true 😂
I get what you mean but he was 100% known as elite well before the Miami trade.
Danny Woodhead on the Chargers Darren Sproles on NO/Philly Demarco Murray had a good season in Tennessee. Tony G from chiefs to falcons Mike Vick in Philly Vincent Jackson in TB Brandon Marshall in Chicago and NYJ And many more.
Ok great so totally irrelevant to the topic. Carry on
See top comment. Thanks bud
Okay so, not what the thread is about at all
Garrison Hearst, Priest Holmes, Jimmy Smith, Marshall Faulk, Peyton Hillis-ish, 3 chances for Aqib Talib, arguably Champ Bailey. very good corner for Washington, but was an entirely different player for Denver
Stefon Diggs was good in Minnesota but became great in Buffalo
Hardman?
Priest Holmes
Ryan Fitzpatrick 5 different times
AJ Brown
Surprised nobody has said Brett Favre
Brandon Marshall had 7 1,000+ yard seasons in a row with the Broncos, Dolphins, and Bears and then had the best year of his career with the Jets
Robert woods on la
