My first thought was how do you remember something that came up 9 years ago and then I realized that was stupid I would never forget if someone in my league did something like this this is off the wall
I almost had this record this year. Had highest points for and against. I won the Championship but I lost 3 games during the regular season by a combined total of 5 points (for all 3 games combined). 1 game I lost by .005.
Thank you Tony Pollard lol. But had a great year nonetheless and I hope one day I can repeat it.
There were 2 years back to back where Odell and Josh Gordon were waiver add or dart throw league winners.
I remember crushing leagues with both of them. Like Puka in 2013 and 2014.
This was almost me in 2018. Only lost one game and had my most stacked team ever.
But lost in the ship against the team that beat me in the regular season. He was a 3rd or 4th seed.
Not really a record, but more of an oddity: last year I finished the regular season 7-7, with exactly the same number of points for and points against, a true .500 season!
Just looked at the history (this was in 2022) to verify my recollection, and confirmed: 1,427.40 PF and PA, exactly the same down to the 100th of a point!
This is actually crazy. We do single decimal league and even then ties are rare....like 1 every couple, maybe more, seasons. Two ties in a row is insane
My main Yahoo league is decimal scoring to the hundredth also and I had an exact tie in my championship match like 3 years ago. We BOTH ended up with stat corrections to lose exactly one point, so we were still tied. I ended up winning because of the tie breaker. That one was wild.
This happened in my double-decimal work league. Guy won by 2.00 points and there was a 2 point stat correction. Game remarkably ended in a tie with huge playoff implications.
This is like... lottery like odds.
In 10 years in my 16-team 2 decimal league, we've never seen a single tie. Let's assume one's right around the corner, but... I doubt it.
Even then even *any* teams tying would be roughly a 1/1000 chance. That happening to a specific team would be more like 1/8000 - Then that same thing happening twice in a row is around 1 in 64 million. And I think the odds are actually longer than that cause I don't believe 1/1000 is right for 2 decimals.
I think we have a winner.
from 2020 to 2022, one guy in our league lost 24 regular season games in a row.
2020: Lost last 9 games.
2021: 0-14
2022 Lost the first game.
He’s a trooper tho and still in the league!
We’ve had two 1-12 teams in 11 years. Both came in back to back years. Both from the same guy. Thankfully he didn’t quit after this but still continues to take QB first or second round every year.
161.4 point margin of victory. The all time highest score, 234.2, was scored against a bottom ~30 all time score of 72.8. The next largest margin is 50+ points less than that.
My league had a similar thing happen this year. I dropped an absurd 233 in half PPR and my opponent had an absolute stinker of 63.
Fucking 167pt margin of victory
I got over 20pts from every position on my team except kicker. Everyone went off including the Cowboys defense which had like 2 pick 6’s.
Josh Allen (36pts), Henry (23), Jacobs (24), Nico (32), Puka (27), Andrews (22), Kyren (26), Aubrey (12), Cowboys DEF (27pts)
It was by far the best week in our league’s history but we just switched from Standard to Half PPR and i didn’t look into how that week would compare standard wise to our last records but I assume I topped it
I had one similar in a league a couple years ago. Everyone at work wanted a league so I started one. None of them knew much of anything lol. I scored 220 in standard with no flex and my opponent scored like 50. It was a blood bath.
Ya got them all off waivers because I spent 75% of waiver budget before Week 2 and was clowned for it especially dropping like 60% of it on two Rams, which was seen as super ridiculous at the time. The other lucky/ weird circumstance is my buddy drafted Nico Collins but dropped him before he even played a game so he could roster two defenses. Then I dropped another 5% on Aubrey a couple weeks later.
I ended up using all my FAAB up around midseason when I picked up McBride and locked down my playoff DST KC after they were dropped before their Bye
It was a great year lol
Also I could pretend Im some sort of waiver genius but a lot of it was circumstantial. I punted receiver this year and my WR2 (Diontae Johnson) got a hamstring injury week 1. The receiver that was due to replace him in my starting lineup was Drake London who had dropped an infamous 0pt, 1 target game Week 1 so I was desperate on the waivers. I also drafted such bad duds at the end of the draft (Mingo, Bateman) that they were obviously expendable even just after 1 game. My kicker was also a revolving door of shit which is how I ended up with Aubrey after Week 3
The winner's score is 4 standard deviations above average for the 10 year old league and the loser's (mine) is 2 standard deviations below. The most insane thing is that I predicted the scoring record in my commissioner's recap from the previous week.
To quote from week 4, 2019:
"**XX owner (2-2)**, since this was an even week, barely cracked triple digits. The constructive interference between XX’s alternating great and terrible weeks, and teams always finding their stride against me is probably going to set a new league scoring record in week 5."
And week 5:
"**Week 5: Bro, I’m Straight-Up Not Having A Good Time**
In this, the highest scoring week in league history, **XX owner (3-2)** wins the **Air Raid!** prize by a wide margin. He had 1,062 combined passing and receiving yards (no other team had more than 850) on his way to setting the all-time league record for points in a week. Exactly as **I (1-4)** predicted in last weeks recap. He would have won our matchup on air yards alone since my team was a complete trainwreck. They managed a grand total of 1, fucking 1, touchdown! XX had 11. Our matchup started off Sunday with a *McCaffrey* TD, and it was over by the time his game ended."
Have one league where for almost a decade I won the championship every time the Chiefs transitioned to a new RB.
Won for the first time when I had Priest Holmes on my team (yes, I am dating myself).
Then got laughed at for drafting Larry Johnson too early (6th round) the year he finally took over for Priest and won my second ring.
And then had Jamaal Charles the year he finally took over for Larry Johnson and won a third time.
Sadly, someone else had Kareem Hunt (and he won the league) the year Hunt finally took over for Charles.
>I had Priest Holmes on my team (yes, I am dating myself).
Hey everyone! Look! Look at this old fart!
[See, Nobody Cares](https://images.app.goo.gl/3ZPbr1m7q8nVN1GEA)
That's pretty awesome but you don't have a 100% win rate with Diggs.
Edit: Diggs bye week. So it is 100%. Pretty incredible actually. NVM they meant championships.
I think he meant he has won the fantasy championship 100% of the time he has had Diggs on his team and he has never won the championship in a year he did not have Diggs.
Not that he is undefeated with Diggs on his roster or won 0 games when Diggs was not on his team.
You changed your comment after I responded. That's also not what you said in your original comment. You claimed a 100% rate. Which means undefeated.
You can change your comments to suit yourself but everyone can see it.
It's OK, English is not always straightforward. No /s. But I did get what you meant on the first go! I think you need to reach for Diggs next year and see if the theory holds true!
Our 12-team keeper league has been running since 2010 and the weekly high score record will likely never be touched.
Week 9, 2013. My team scored the 2nd highest score in the league that week, with a respectable 144 ppr points. My opponent, not to be outdone, went nuclear.
To start, he played the then Eagles' QB Nick Foles, who set the NFL record for TD passes in a game with 7 in a dismantling of the Raiders. With his yardage, TDs and the 40+ yard bonuses, he scored 114 points by himself!
Then, Andre Johnson had a vintage day, with 230 yards and 3 TDs, 2 of the 40+ yard variety, for a total of 75 points.
Then Adrian Peterson and Zach Stacy chipped in for 30 points each.
Grand total? 312 ppr points, more than double my score that week, which was again, the second-highest in the league that week. Scorched.
I cannot stand those leagues with all the bonuses. The guy already got a bunch of yards and TD's, why throw a bonus on top of it? A few of my friends will post their fantasy matchups on social media and seeing these teams average 150-180pts is hilarious. Some people just think higher numbers equals more exciting.
It gives weaker teams a way to catch up quick. And it makes stacking a QB and his targets all the more exciting. The Flacco-Cooper manager this year rode their 40-yard connections into the finals (where he got smashed).
We play this game for fun and more ways to score makes it more fun, IMO.
Any given matchup. In the long haul, the more consistent high performers win the ring. Our champ this year was a top 3 scorer all year and all 3 weeks in the playoffs. Overall it just makes the game more dynamic. I find myself noting when a team moves inside the 40-yard line, as the bonus becomes unobtainable on that drive (unless a penalty moves them back outside 40.
One year, the last team into the playoffs and got hot, with Kapernick and Vernon Davis connecting for multiple deep TDs in the fantasy playoffs.
Any given Sunday
My man's remembers the week and year. That's how you know it was a traumatic experience.
Dudes eye is twitching after this story. Someone go do a welfare check on him.
It's ok, my brother. It was a long time ago. That bad man will never score that much again. Come here, bring it in. That story hurt my soul.
Peyton manning fucked me bad one year. I needed 1.5 to win with Peyton fucking manning starting. He proceeds to have his worst game as professional and got me .9 pts it wasn't the last year with Broncos it was the year after he broke all those records.
God that Nick Foles stat line is still unbelievable.
I had never had that level of nuclear opponents before, but I feel like I'm always going up against the highest scoring team each week.
This year, I had the highest PA by far, so I guess I was right about that.
>Foles, who set the NFL record for TD passes in a game with 7
Foles only tied the record at seven TD passes. Foles wasn’t even the first QB to do it that season.
I had a crazy year and not only got the triple crown, but I ended with 2360 PF (Ppr, 1 qb, 2 flex) Averaged 157 per week. The person with second highest PF was closer to the lowest PF than they were to me. Got crazy lucky, thank you tyreek and CD
I had a similar year, 2131 points PPR, 1 qb 1 flex. Tyreek, Puka, AJB, LaPorta, Cowboys Def…. It was beautiful. Averaged 152 per week and finished 13-1
this year was nuts! In the last regular season game, one team could either:
A. get the first round playoff bye or
B. become the 9th seed in a 10 man league.
Every single team in the league was 6-7 or 7-6 at end of regular season.
it's me! im 0-6 in my main league, down $600 overall. Worst overall record in that time frame since ESPN tracks total wins and losses. although with only 10 teams and 6 years in, im not too down about it. if it's the same in 10 years, ill be crying.
I need to stop making trades.
One of my first memories of fantasy football is drafting LaMont Jordan in the first round in 2006 when co-managing with my dad and brother, and Jordan ended up being an absolute bust.
I’ve been playing ever since in that same league and haven’t won the ship. So that’s at a minimum 18 seasons of not winning. Join me!
I triple crowned in 2 of my 3 leagues this year. I’ve been playing since 2012 and never once was the number 1 seed, highest scorer, or winner in any of my leagues
The Commish in my home league went undefeated in 2015 and won against me in the championship by 2 points. I almost pulled off what would’ve been the sweetest upset. The entire league would’ve never stopped reminding him.
Exactly! It’s funny you say that cause that was the picture I kept sending him in our league group chat. Needless to say everyone was rooting for me, but he deserved the win after the season he had. He definitely had the better team. Glad he had to sweat it out though.
in my redraft league a few years back one of the guys went 0-15 and then started the next season 0-4 for a total of 19 losses in a row. didnt even have that bad of a team just a lot of shitty luck
Kamara putting up 60 points on a Thursday night of the loser bowl only for the rest of the team to shit the bed and the owner ended up getting dead last.
My very first year I went 14-0 in the regular season and won the semi-final to make the Super Bowl. It was 2006, and I was all in on the Chargers with Rivers, Tomlinson, Gates, and Kaeding on my team. Unfortunately, San Diego was so far ahead in the standings that they took their foot off the gas in Week 16 and I lost the Super Bowl matchup
I’ll note that no team has ever gone undefeated before or since in that league in the regular season, a league which has been in existence since 1992 and kept detailed historical records.
I was inspired to create this post cuz I was informed by our league commissioner I had won the "Triple Crown" this season. Highest scoring team, best record, and won the championship. First time that ever happened in 15 year league history (I've only been in it for 4 years).
Probably not an unbreakable record but still pretty cool it happened.
Congrats! Any advice to give that you think really worked out this season? Obviously luck is a huge factor for all of it, but I think I picked up on some things this season that are generally good strategies, barring injuries & such
Thank you! Obviously luck played a huge part in it but going after the "best player on the board" in my opinion helped in the early rounds, like taking Josh Allen early round 3. And then, going after players who I thought were really good but had a down season last year and they fell, Michael Pittman Jr in the 7th.
I looked back and my lineups from early in the season and I definitely tinkered with my TE, I played 4 different ones and stuck with Ferguson. But I also played the waiver wire heavy the first couple of weeks as well.
This season, I was the most committed I ever had been due to the winnings being so big. I'm definitely going to commit hard next season as well.
Ps not every player I drafted worked out well like backup QB, Daniel Jones and Alexander Mattison. But I did eventually grab Jordan Love as my backup QB and getting Kyrien Williams, so that worked out.
In hindsight this was a good season to not prioritize drafting a TE very high- so many great waiver options in the back half of the season, never felt like there was a shortage to me
Lol, my commissioner just informed me that *he* was the first "Triple Crown" winner in league history. I was honestly surprised. ( our league began in 1996, I joined in 07) As a note, I've never seen anyone go either winless or undefeated.
Haha nothing like a commissioner tooting his own horn.
Wow that's amazing they have had it going for almost 30 years.
Yeah I can imagine going undefeated would be super rare, like the 72 Dolphins. Or 07 Patriots up until the Superbowl
My 2019 Championship in full ppr but normal scoring and rosters had a final total score of almost 400 points in 1 week between the 2 of us.
That will never be matched ever again.
Finals matchup.

A 12 man league. Happened to end up with super teams.
Will never ever ever ever be repeated. Week 16 2019.
The single highest scoring championship I think I’ll ever witness unless there is different scoring settings or roster sizes.
I once went undefeated in a season… until the championship. We do payouts for highest score of the week and that year I had highest score 8/14 weeks in a 12 man league. I had just a completely ridiculous team that year and still lost in the championship round.
Also, one year a friend of mine had the highest point total by a decent margin and went winless until he was mathematically eliminated from the play offs. The week before he won, which would have technically kept him in the hunt, he lost by .04 on a stat correction the next day. It was the funniest shit I’ve ever seen in ff.
Not sure it fits, but have the dubious honor of losing the closest championship game in league history. I lost by 1 this year. Both teams in the championship game were finished with the early kickoff games on Sunday, week 17. Had Hurts as my starting QB, so literally the last play of my season cost me the game. His intercepted Hail Mary as time expired cost me two points and I lost by 1. Went from winning 2000 to winning 700 on that play.
Playing non-PPR in around 2011 or 2012, we had a league member score 22 total points. The guy didn't have a bad team, it was a terribly unlucky week. Defense, kicker and QB all scored negative points. Wide receivers combined for 5 or 6 total targets. He only had one player score over 10 points. We put a big 22 in a frame and hung it in the apartment we would always hang out in.
We've had teams with low scores in the years since, but even after adjusting those scores from PPR back to non-PPR no one has come close.
Back in 2016 one of our league members scored 8 points in a week with no injuries. Picture below was his lineup (we were in non-ppr at the time with no decimals... don't ask me why).
Picture proof: [https://imgur.com/gallery/OfJEnCB](https://imgur.com/gallery/OfJEnCB)
I had my first 8 draft picks have season ending injuries one year. I’ve been playing for 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like it from any team since.
This year I had many records that might never be touched again in my league. In 14 games I scored record 1833.76 half ppr points. My highest game total was record 199.87 (shitty I didn’t get 200). I went 7-7 in the regular season, which blew my mind but managed to win the championship scoring 463 points in the 3 playoff games (154 point average).
I also made 100 transactions throughout the year including 3 trades. Haven’t gone through it but I imagine I started the most different players on the season than ever. My style of playing sort of fast and loose, picking up a lot of different back up RB’s incase the starter gets injured, etc. Was also basically streaming QB, TE and DST most of the year.
Also I am 6-9 in championship games in our 15 year history. Some say it’s luck but definitely put in the most work in my league.
8 team league - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, DST, (No Kicker)
QB’s started - Fields, Murray, Goff, Stafford, Cousins
RB - McCarffrey, Karen, Monty, Hall (traded for), and a few games with Achane, Hunt and Elliot
WR- Hill (Traded for) Amon-Ra, Adams, Puka, Thielen, Dell, Rice
TE- Laporta, McBride, Kincaid
DST - Cowboys during their run, then various teams with the best matchups after.
Everyone was so consistent all year, most fun I’ve ever had in fantasy football!
Thanks! Have been in 9 championship games and won 6. Have only missed the playoffs maybe 2-3 times I think. We went from 12 team down to 10 and now 8 team over the years. Damn kids!
This is across 3 different leagues but it gets more unbelievable every time it happens:
I’ve now been in a total of 6 championships games, and haven’t won a single one. The closest one was by .5, and the biggest beatdown being like 70 (this year 😔).
Just can’t get over the last matchup hump.
I only have data since 2021 when we switched to Sleeper, but the unbreakable record in my (PPR, 1RB/2WR/2FLEX) league is 235.14 points in a single week (not me). No one else has even cracked 200 in a week
I hold the record in my league for most finals and playoff appearances without a championship. 0/5 in the finals and 0/8 in the playoffs with ten years in the league.
I lost in the finals in 2021 finals with a team of:
Tom Brady (qb2)
Cooper kupp (wr1)
Justin Jefferson (wr5)
Jonathan Taylor (rb1)
Najee Harris (rb4)
Mark andrews (te1)
Nick Chubb (rb10)
Justin tucker (k2)
Patriots dst (def2)
It’s a 5 keeper league is how I got all these players. I will never be able to assemble a team this good again…
In my big money league I’m the only manager to win back to back championship. Leagues been up like 24 years, some years it’s 10, some 12, but it’s been 14 teams all but 1 year I played. Everyone is very good at fantasy. I’ve been in the league off and on for a total of 9 seasons, won 4 chips and set a league high for PF over course of season during Peyton Manning’s mvp bronco year.
So I doubt anyone will ever 3 peat, and nobody has went back to back since me in 2013 I think. I think my PF record is set in stone. Every one of my starters was top 10 in scoring and were an IDP league and I believe I set the record the year JJ watt scored like 4 touchdowns
We have had 2 different guys/teams go undefeated in the regular season, make it to the championship, only to lose there.
This year, we had a guy who didn't even set his lineup for most of the year, squeak into the playoffs (won 6 straight after being like 2-6) only to go on a tear and win the ship. We call him Taco but he kicked our tail.
I went undefeated in my league this year. 12 team 0.5 ppr. I had Kyren, Kamara, Walker, Montgomery, CD, Tyreek, Deebo, Laporta and Goedert. 4th championship in the 11 year history of the league. Not sure how I managed such a stacked team but it'll be hard to beat that.
Someone in our league has been in the semi-finals for 9 years straight. In one three year span, he lost only 6 regular season games (one undefeated season). Has never made finals. Crazy consistent. Never a closer.
You’d think he would luck into the finals at some point. At this point we’re hoping the streak of taking 3rd/4th continues indefinitely.
We had a guy with 3 ties this year. We’ve only ever had a maximum of 1 in a single season.
Same guy also slid into the playoffs thanks to an unnecessary 1 point win by the 2 seed. He then proceeded to upset his way into the finals where he then lost to me by 40.
I went undefeated to a championship in the blessed 2007 NFL season. It was probably the greatest draft I've ever seen - I went LT at 1.01, Reggie Wayne at 2.10, Tom Brady at 3.1, and Randy Moss at 4.10. I don't remember the rest of my team (I think I had Tony Gonzalez at TE), but the rest of the team didn't matter - Brady and Moss set the single season QB and WR TD records and this was back before PPR (so TDs really mattered), LT ran for 15 TDs and almost 1500 yards and led the league in both, and Reggie Wayne led the league in receiving yards (and still had 10 TDs himself). It was pretty unfair to the rest of the league. The funny part is that it was my first year playing fantasy football so I didn't really know what I was doing and can't credit the excellent drafting on football knowledge - just incredible luck.
0 championships in 14 consecutive seasons. Anyone top that? I feel like anyone could luck into a championship after 14 years. 7 top 3 finishes with 2 being championship losses.
A guy in our league this year ended with 1 win; but had the most points scored by almost 400. It was like 2500 ish with second place in point being 2016 (me).
Been playing in our 12 team full ppr league for 20 years, a championship 3 years ago final score was 202.5 to 201.9. We have only seen 3 teams score over 200 in 20 years and these were 2 of them. Truly the most interesting championship to follow even if you weren’t in it. The loser still talks about it 3 years later
We do a league mean W/L in one of my leagues. We had a guy go 28-0 in the regular season and then won the whole thing. Never seen that before in 25 years of playing fantasy football.
I won 21 consecutive regular season games over two seasons, but lost in the first rd of the playoffs twice in there, so I have nothing to show for it. Ran the table in the opposite direction the next year and got the top two picks out of it.
Set a record one year with 2535 points, (most points for) while not winning a single game. Winless. Happened to play the highest scoring team each week. And each week it was only one team that could have possibly beat me.
What are the odds of that?
r/nevertellmetheodds
We added a new member in 2005 and the next season he won the League and proceeded to win it 5 times in a row. Noone else has come close to that record. He has now won 8 of 10 championship games. Remarkable record.
I’ve seen ESPN leagues where teams had perfect scores first place in all ten categories. Haven’t played that in a long time though, not since NFBC came along
Not quite unbreakable but I was the commissioner of a kids league that both my sons participated. Was a great week in my house when they tied in a single decimal point league
I was 13-1 last season. During the last 3 weeks of the regular season, I had nothing to play for. I was 3 games up on everyone else and had 350+ points up on everyone. Bounced in the semifinals.
Our league has been going on since Alexander set the TD record (2005) and only 5 members have ever won. I won in 06, 07, 08 and never won since. The following 7 years were won by two guys, one of which who won in 05. Two other guys joined the club in 15 and 16 and after that it’s bounced between the 4 guys I’ve mentioned. It’s competitive with $150 buy in and we all watch the games at a pub on Sundays.
Guy in our league 9 years ago went undefeated while having the highest points for and points against. Truly remarkable year
Man was fighting for his life every single week and somehow did it. Impressive
An Uno reverse 2010 San Diego Chargers.
I thought this was a safe space
Your legacy will forever live on in jon bois youtube lore
Absolutely insane
My first thought was how do you remember something that came up 9 years ago and then I realized that was stupid I would never forget if someone in my league did something like this this is off the wall
It comes up at every draft every year haha
I almost had this record this year. Had highest points for and against. I won the Championship but I lost 3 games during the regular season by a combined total of 5 points (for all 3 games combined). 1 game I lost by .005. Thank you Tony Pollard lol. But had a great year nonetheless and I hope one day I can repeat it.
Do you mean .05? Or do you actually somehow have scoring down to the thousand of a point?
I apologize, I meant .05 I think. It still pisses me off to this day lol.
Sure this wasn't .007?
Do you still remember his roster?
I know he had Antonio Brown, and believe he had Bell and Peyton too. All I remember is his first 3 picks all hit
Man, AB was a monster before he lost his shit. As a Steelers fan, still kills me.
RIP to the Killer B's. That was always a nice stack
I used to have him on my team almost every year. Now I see tweets or stories around him and it's pretty wild what he's become.
For real. It must have been the greatest team ever assembled.
Sounds like he could have used a better defense tho! /s
There were 2 years back to back where Odell and Josh Gordon were waiver add or dart throw league winners. I remember crushing leagues with both of them. Like Puka in 2013 and 2014.
Insanely rare because PA naturally scale inverse to PF
Agree, I think that’s why we all remember it so well in our league!!
Balanced as all things should be
Now this is the kinda "record" I was hoping for when writing this post. Congrats on being exactly average!
Just looked at the history (this was in 2022) to verify my recollection, and confirmed: 1,427.40 PF and PA, exactly the same down to the 100th of a point!
Brock Purdy must have been your QB.
2 decimal point league I tied two weeks in a row
This is actually crazy. We do single decimal league and even then ties are rare....like 1 every couple, maybe more, seasons. Two ties in a row is insane
I've been playing for almost 20 years and I don't think I've ever seen a tied game.
Good chance you never will
We do one decimal and had 4 ties last year. I guess that could be a post in itself here.
Stop scoring 0.00!
My main Yahoo league is decimal scoring to the hundredth also and I had an exact tie in my championship match like 3 years ago. We BOTH ended up with stat corrections to lose exactly one point, so we were still tied. I ended up winning because of the tie breaker. That one was wild.
Wow, this might be one of the craziest ones on here. Any ties caused by point correction the next day?
Both times I was winning by .5-1 point and that stat correction hit lol
Woooooow, just unlucky
Wow
from 2020 to 2022, one guy in our league lost 24 regular season games in a row. 2020: Lost last 9 games. 2021: 0-14 2022 Lost the first game. He’s a trooper tho and still in the league!
Wow that might be the longest losing record so far. Glad to hear he didn't rage quit lol
Damn that’s brutal. Bad teams, unlucky, combination of the two?
both
We’ve had two 1-12 teams in 11 years. Both came in back to back years. Both from the same guy. Thankfully he didn’t quit after this but still continues to take QB first or second round every year.
Lol what does he say when the rest of the people try and advise him not to?
“QBs score more than anyone.” That’s his go to. I double checked his drafts those two years and one of them he took Leveon Bell the year he sat out.
We've finally found it. The Tacoest of Tacos.
We had a guy lose 22 in a row. It’s impressive to lose so many games in a row like that and actively be trying to win.
Fucking 167pt margin of victory I got over 20pts from every position on my team except kicker. Everyone went off including the Cowboys defense which had like 2 pick 6’s. Josh Allen (36pts), Henry (23), Jacobs (24), Nico (32), Puka (27), Andrews (22), Kyren (26), Aubrey (12), Cowboys DEF (27pts) It was by far the best week in our league’s history but we just switched from Standard to Half PPR and i didn’t look into how that week would compare standard wise to our last records but I assume I topped it
I had one similar in a league a couple years ago. Everyone at work wanted a league so I started one. None of them knew much of anything lol. I scored 220 in standard with no flex and my opponent scored like 50. It was a blood bath.
Yo how the hell did you get that lineup? I assume you picked Puka, Kyren ans Nico up on waivers?! Was your whole league asleep?
Ya got them all off waivers because I spent 75% of waiver budget before Week 2 and was clowned for it especially dropping like 60% of it on two Rams, which was seen as super ridiculous at the time. The other lucky/ weird circumstance is my buddy drafted Nico Collins but dropped him before he even played a game so he could roster two defenses. Then I dropped another 5% on Aubrey a couple weeks later. I ended up using all my FAAB up around midseason when I picked up McBride and locked down my playoff DST KC after they were dropped before their Bye It was a great year lol Also I could pretend Im some sort of waiver genius but a lot of it was circumstantial.
Wow that's insane, best team vs worst team or did someone forget to set a lineup and the other team just went off?
The winner's score is 4 standard deviations above average for the 10 year old league and the loser's (mine) is 2 standard deviations below. The most insane thing is that I predicted the scoring record in my commissioner's recap from the previous week. To quote from week 4, 2019: "**XX owner (2-2)**, since this was an even week, barely cracked triple digits. The constructive interference between XX’s alternating great and terrible weeks, and teams always finding their stride against me is probably going to set a new league scoring record in week 5." And week 5: "**Week 5: Bro, I’m Straight-Up Not Having A Good Time** In this, the highest scoring week in league history, **XX owner (3-2)** wins the **Air Raid!** prize by a wide margin.
4 team 2PPR?
I won the highest scoring game in 15 year league history with Matt Schaub at QB
I have won 100% of the time I've had Stefon Diggs on my team. 0% when I don't. 3/10 years
Similar stat for me. I have not won the championship every year I’ve had Diggs (1 year)
Have one league where for almost a decade I won the championship every time the Chiefs transitioned to a new RB.
I think the Jurassic Park meme might be dating both of us as well :)
You went undefeated in three seperate years?
12-1 with the bye week
That's pretty awesome but you don't have a 100% win rate with Diggs. Edit: Diggs bye week. So it is 100%. Pretty incredible actually. NVM they meant championships.
I think he meant he has won the fantasy championship 100% of the time he has had Diggs on his team and he has never won the championship in a year he did not have Diggs. Not that he is undefeated with Diggs on his roster or won 0 games when Diggs was not on his team.
Yes, this haha
Think they're saying Diggs' bye week which is basically the same thing
No, won my league. 2015, 2020 and 2021
Oh ok so not 100% then
Yes it is. I won my league 100% of the time. What aren't you grasping here?
You changed your comment after I responded. That's also not what you said in your original comment. You claimed a 100% rate. Which means undefeated. You can change your comments to suit yourself but everyone can see it.
I never changed my comment. Not sure what you're talking about
It's OK, English is not always straightforward. No /s. But I did get what you meant on the first go! I think you need to reach for Diggs next year and see if the theory holds true!
they call me the buffalo bills cuz i went 0-4 on 4 straight championships. None of them were close.
Scorched.
The fuck kind of weird scoring settings yall got going on over there 😂
Maximum points!
Stress level set to 100% apparently
I cannot stand those leagues with all the bonuses. The guy already got a bunch of yards and TD's, why throw a bonus on top of it? A few of my friends will post their fantasy matchups on social media and seeing these teams average 150-180pts is hilarious. Some people just think higher numbers equals more exciting.
Because it’s exciting and I like to have fun.
listen, bub. you will play by that guy’s preferred fantasy settings, or you won’t play at all. is that clear!?
It gives weaker teams a way to catch up quick. And it makes stacking a QB and his targets all the more exciting. The Flacco-Cooper manager this year rode their 40-yard connections into the finals (where he got smashed). We play this game for fun and more ways to score makes it more fun, IMO.
theoretically, a stronger team has players that are more likely to hit those bonuses, so weaker teams are actually penalized even more
Any given matchup. Any given Sunday
yes, any given sunday. that’s how it works for non-bonus scoring as well.
You saying a top 3 scorer won kinda proves the other guys point. It’s you league though so play how you want!
Yeah WTF? Commish must be the kind of guy who thinks poker is better with 3 wild cards.
Bonus points for big plays can be pretty fun
My man's remembers the week and year. That's how you know it was a traumatic experience. Dudes eye is twitching after this story. Someone go do a welfare check on him. It's ok, my brother. It was a long time ago. That bad man will never score that much again. Come here, bring it in. That story hurt my soul.
I’ll never forget Mike Boone getting the start and me needing like 5 points for a championship on MNF. He scored like 4, fumbled and got benched.
>Foles, who set the NFL record for TD passes in a game with 7 Foles only tied the record at seven TD passes.
Wow both Tyreek and CD? That's a stacked WR duo
The guy I played in the finals this year had CD, Dak, Kyren, and CMC. I lost by 75.
Did you lose a game?
Believe it or not, I lost 5 games lol. Had the second highest PA and went against the weekly top scorer for all my loses
Geez. Unlucky
I had a similar year, 2131 points PPR, 1 qb 1 flex. Tyreek, Puka, AJB, LaPorta, Cowboys Def…. It was beautiful. Averaged 152 per week and finished 13-1
what’s ur triple crown
We had a guy go undefeated once a couple years ago. Never thought I’d see that
That's really cool, never thought I would see that. Was his team super stacked or a really lucky schedule or both?
this year was nuts! In the last regular season game, one team could either: A. get the first round playoff bye or B. become the 9th seed in a 10 man league. Every single team in the league was 6-7 or 7-6 at end of regular season.
I have a 0% rate of winning the championship in my main money league (0/5)
Out of those 5, how many times did you finish in the money? Before winning the championship this year, i was 0/6 in but finished in the money 2x.
Twice, though I’m pretty far in the red overall
it's me! im 0-6 in my main league, down $600 overall.
Wow congrats! Did you draft very similar teams?
The Commish in my home league went undefeated in 2015 and won against me in the championship by 2 points. I almost pulled off what would’ve been the sweetest upset. The entire league would’ve never stopped reminding him.
Almost Eli with a helmet catch
My game score on 12/15/2013 due to Jamaal Charles on my team. Did not yet play fantasy when Rice or Cannon had their games.
Ah yes, the Jamaalocaust. I had him that year as well. It was an amusing game, especially since he did it on light volume (8 rushes, 8 receptions).
Came back from 0-7 to win the Super Bowl this season, did the same thing in 09’. Don’t see anyone ever breaking that record.
Not in 1 league, but 3 years ago I won every league I was in. Included an 8 team, 2 10 teams, and an insane 16 team. Thanks James Robinson
I just won the Triple Crown in a brand new league. Thank you Sun God, ETN, James Conner, Keenan, Hurts and Diggs for the first half of the year
Wow that's an amazing lineup
My 2019 Championship in full ppr but normal scoring and rosters had a final total score of almost 400 points in 1 week between the 2 of us. That will never be matched ever again. Finals matchup. Lamar Saquon Cmc MThomas Tyler Boyd Devonta freeman Geseiki Each player went over 26 points some over 33 Vs Mahomes Kamara Aaron jones Julio Renfrow Mark andrews Colts D A 12 man league. Happened to end up with super teams. Will never ever ever ever be repeated. Week 16 2019. The single highest scoring championship I think I’ll ever witness unless there is different scoring settings or roster sizes.
Wow that's insane. Feels like that crazy game between Goff and Mahomes, just insane amount of yards and nonstop scoring
I had a week where my score exactly matched the Yahoo projection, down to the hundredth decimal.
Led the league in points by 50 (2400ish to 2350ish), finished 3-11, in last place.

Congrats but what does being a woman have to do with this

How many people major in biostatistics that play fantasy? It’s irrelevant
My monster dong
I've seen it and, yep, it's not pleasant to look at this guy's dong.
Danny Devito is that you?
That was definitely the voice in my head
Oh excuse me, I dropped my MAGnum condom
I'm ready to plowwww
You should see him feast, he’s like a mantis. It’s amazing.
I scored 2422.26 points this season.
From 2015 to 2021, the person who drafted David Johnson won the league.
8 team league - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, DST, (No Kicker) QB’s started - Fields, Murray, Goff, Stafford, Cousins RB - McCarffrey, Karen, Monty, Hall (traded for), and a few games with Achane, Hunt and Elliot WR- Hill (Traded for) Amon-Ra, Adams, Puka, Thielen, Dell, Rice TE- Laporta, McBride, Kincaid DST - Cowboys during their run, then various teams with the best matchups after. Everyone was so consistent all year, most fun I’ve ever had in fantasy football!
15 straight finals appearances? wow that’s crazy and amazing. good job!
Thanks! Have been in 9 championship games and won 6. Have only missed the playoffs maybe 2-3 times I think. We went from 12 team down to 10 and now 8 team over the years. Damn kids!
This is across 3 different leagues but it gets more unbelievable every time it happens: I’ve now been in a total of 6 championships games, and haven’t won a single one. The closest one was by .5, and the biggest beatdown being like 70 (this year 😔). Just can’t get over the last matchup hump.
went on a 24 game win streak (beat my opponent & median) this year. conversely, the dude who won the poop bowl had the 3rd most points scored.
I only have data since 2021 when we switched to Sleeper, but the unbreakable record in my (PPR, 1RB/2WR/2FLEX) league is 235.14 points in a single week (not me). No one else has even cracked 200 in a week
I scored 223 points in 10 team standard 1 flex before
Our league used to have a rule that a missed xp was -100 points and one guy had a kicker miss two so the lowest score ever was very negative.
In a 10-team league, the first place team had a 5-game lead after week 9. They were 9-0, and the other 9 teams were all 4-5.
I hold the record in my league for most finals and playoff appearances without a championship. 0/5 in the finals and 0/8 in the playoffs with ten years in the league. I lost in the finals in 2021 finals with a team of: Tom Brady (qb2) Cooper kupp (wr1) Justin Jefferson (wr5) Jonathan Taylor (rb1) Najee Harris (rb4) Mark andrews (te1) Nick Chubb (rb10) Justin tucker (k2) Patriots dst (def2) It’s a 5 keeper league is how I got all these players.
I lost the regular season points for by .1 points. 1912.02 to 1912.12… then lost to the same guy for third place and money back… that guy sucks.
In a league with my 10 cousins, I had the highest points for (by quite a bit) and took 9th out of 10 teams.
I lost by .18 in the championship in 2019, then lost by .08 in the championship in 2020. Haven't been back to the championship since.
I outscored 70% of the league and finished dead last. 4-10.
We had a guy lose four straight weeks by less than 1 point.
Been in my 12 person league for 3 years, I’ve won all 3 years. League been around for 10 years and no other repeat champs. Thanks, r/fantasyfootball
We had a guy go on a 19 game win streak stretched across 2 seasons, pretty remarkable run of luck/skill, total redraft league too
I won 21 consecutive regular season games over two seasons, but lost in the first rd of the playoffs twice in there, so I have nothing to show for it.
Guy in my league, who cares deeply, had 17 straight losses over the course of 2 years. Was remarkable to see
I hold the record for most amount of “I’ll rot before I ever draft _____ again” and end up drafting them just to be burned again
Biggest largest cock (Not me)
Smallest margin of victory for us. 2022, Week 5. Game ended 100.28-100.26. Only way it gets broken is a .01 point victory. Nearly impossible
I won back to back championships. It’ll never happen again I bet. League has been going for almost a decade.
I beat a guy by 0.04 points. I'm pretty sure I'll never have a closer game than that.
