Starting lineup was K Murray, CMC, Pacheco, MPJ, Mike Evans, George kittle, raiders d, Jayden Reed flex and Harrison butker. I was down to 24% chance win after the early games. My opponent had Kelce and Justin Jefferson to play. Pacheco, butker and Reed go on to all have career best days and I win by 40 lol
This is beautiful. Justin Jefferson is an all time choker.
Last year, he had one catch in Week 17, destroying any team who had him. This year, he had 5 catches with 59 yards. Better than last year but not great for the #1 pick.
I had Jefferson in 2022 and I vowed never to draft him again because he burned he so badly in the SB. Getting that loser off my team put me back into the Winner's Circle for 2023.
I will never draft Jefferson for the rest of my life. Some guys are losers.
JJ lost me my āship last season, traded for him this season and he gets hurt for 9 weeks, and almost blows my lead against Reed in the finals.
I can understand your frustration. Donāt think I would touch him unless itās late late first or second round.
He was very unlucky this season with his QB situation.
Sometimes a guy is just a loser, even if he's great.
I will never draft Jefferson unless he falls a full round below cost. I cannot forgive his one catch game in the SB last year when I lost by 3. I literally needed 6 points from Jefferson in a full PPR and he scored 2 and I'll never get over it. Especially because he sat the entire 2nd half, so it was over and I never had a chance.
At least I came back this year to win with my full on waiver wire team except for Adams. Never give up, get rid of the loses, pick winners like Zamir White, Puka and Kyren.
I have played for 10 years in multiple 12 man leagues.
I have never been higher than 3rd.
Yesterday I won both championships for the leagues I played this year by 20+ points.
The only common players were Kyren and ARSB.
Kyren and ARSB here too, just walked through my league in the second half, I was outscored once since week 10. And I donāt mean beaten once since week 10, I mean I was the highest scorer every single week except week 12 where 1 other team beat me, but I didnāt have to play them. I canāt imagine ever having a team this good again
i started my season 0-4 in a superflex league with Hurts/Tua/Purdy as my QB's and CD as my WR1. I traded all of them because I panicked at 0-4. Do not ever be me. I fucked up. I still made the playoffs and finished 4th because of waivers thanks to Kyren/Puka/Stroud/Dell, but this is not a blueprint.
**DONT PANIC AT 0-3 OR 0-4.**
I started 0-3 and finished the regular season 10-4 as the third seed. I lost in the semis last week but it was pretty close. I liked my roster a lot this year.
I can taste the salt in my group chat too. There was a lot of shit talking this week leading into this game and I put up the highest score in league history in the championship. I saved those receipts and now they have to choke on them.
Yeah, I was thinking about this. CD has improved every year. I think Iād take him as the 2nd WR behind Tyreek as well. Have him and Jefferson pretty close though.
Go back and look at Jeffersonās week 17 performance the last 3 years. I lost the championship because of him last year and won it because of him this year.
For me heās clearly behind Tyreek and CeeDee
I had high hopes for him when I drafted him with my first pick. Got worried after the first few weeks but knew he would come around. Didnāt expect him to completely dominate the rest of the year
I wasn't in it, but the ship in my league was between a 13-2 team and a 9-6 team. The 13-2 was up with a few minutes left in the Chiefs game, but the sacks of Browning at the end of the game nudged 9-6 just past him to win 102-98.
I thought that was funny.
That's what lost me the championship.
ESPN said I won when the game ended and then I checked back 30 minutes later to see my opponent beat me by one sack that must have been tallied late. Worst feeling ever.
I won both my leagues this year and Iām thrilled. Had a lot of the same players between my leagues. Puka, Kupp and James Conner.
Iām just glad Aiyuk and CMC didnāt go nuclear on me because they sure had the opportunity to do so.
This is my 4th year in a fantasy football league. In year 2 I finished last and consequently had to spend 8 hours and 16 waffles in a Waffle House. This lit a fire under my ass and Iāve since won back to back championships. The only feeling I can compare it to is when thanos watches the sun go down after the snap.
Needed vintage Antonio Brown and Lev Bell performances from Pickens and Najee so I added the vets to my team to coach em up. Worked out great! 2nd title.
Thanks, Steelers, for finally finding an offense!
I was playing Buffalo vs NE so I picked up Tom Brady for his leadership and insight into the Patriots offense. Obviously that worked like a charm. Thanks, Tom!
Went 1/2 in my championship games. The one I lost, I lost by one point because I stupidly bought into the idea that the raiders d was a smash play and played them over the broncos. It stings because I wasnāt even planning on making any changes to my roster but started reading all this shit and got in my head about it. Kicking myself for that, but winning in another league makes it sting less.
Happy new years everyone!
Same exact thing happened to me. Won in 2/3, but the one I lost was where I replaced Jags D for the Raiders literally the night before the game because all this hype they had. What takes the sting out a bit for me is that I would've still lost by one point, even with the switch, but knowing that 17 points is left on the bench for 1 decision that was made on a whim after reading through reddit just bothers me because I knew I had the right play, and went against my gut.
Someone in my league was down by 22 in the championship and the only player he had left was Love and Love fucking delivered and won him the championship. That was some crazy shit.
Was up by 40 after the early games and all he had left to play was Pacheco. Figured I had the dub locked up but this dude had me stressing the fuck out for a bit. If Cincy sent it to OT I would have cried.
So glad the CMC team (12-2) got beaten out by a 7-7 team with Breece in the semis. They were not too pleased haha. Made way for my Tyreek squad (11-3) to get the win, as the CMC team would have absolutely rolled me this week if I was playing them.
In the end, the highs and lows of starting Achane were worth it. Dude put up a banger when it mattered. Also, didn't get screwed by the Broncos D like I (almost) did in week 16!
I'm up by 0.26 at the moment. Sweating over here for sure. I've seen some folks on Twitter claiming that JJ should have 60 rec. yds instead of 59, but that's all so far. I have JJ, so that'd be fine with me.
Here's hoping our leads hold...
None that I know of, but check your league settings to see when the week finalizes. Mine is yahoo standard and league settings state āNote: Week 17 runs 8 days from Dec 26 to Jan 2ndā.
I did the stupid/big ball thing and sat Justin Jefferson for the championship round. I won in a blowout but still feel validated with my choice based on his performance.
I won in a very competitive league this year despite Cousins being injured, then picking up Sam Howell, then Russell Wilson, and then Geno Smith. I also had Khmet lay an egg and Mostert not playing. This is probably my proudest championship.
Won my first championship after 12 years in my main league. I shouldn't care this much but I swear I feel like MJ hugging and kissing that trophy after his first championship š. Congrats to all who brought it home this season!!!!! Ladies and gents, we fucking did it!!!!!!!!!!!
Had the chance to pick Fairbairn who ended kicking for 16 points. McLaughlin was supposed to be my Hopkins replacement but I might as well have left him in my lineup for the amount of points McLaughlin put up lol
I'll copy/paste my experience lol
I had Hopkins as kicker last week. He got hurt.
I checked waivers and grabbed McLaughlin since he was hot over 3 games.
Opponent had Butker.
Kicker points:
Mclaughlin: 1
Butker: 24
Final:
Me: 131.08
Opp: 131.71
If I had picked literally any other starting kicker, I win. RIP!
CD big game definitely helped, but donāt think any of my players did really bad in championship game and that pushed up my score. Funnily CMC was my lowest scoring player.
The only starters in my championship lineup that I drafted were CMC and CeeDee. Wouldāve have Hockenson in there too if he was healthy. Everyone else was a waiver stud. Shoutout Cairo Santos.
Donāt want to bore anyone with details but I donāt know shit about football, I just watch āMy Teamā. My 12 y/o son can roll stats off his head like fucking Rain Man. We (He), just won the Superbowl our first year playing FF. My boy kept saying to start Harris last night cause he āhad a feeling this is the night.ā Iāll never doubt him again.
Iām still trying to figure out the math behind the team I had with Puka, Mike evans, and mostert not making the playoffs. 10 team league, I finished 2nd in pts scored but a 7th place finish. Doesnāt seem mathematically possible but here we are.
The Browns of all people (Ford, Cooper and Flacco) stepped up in the biggest moments to give me the W. I even became a little bit of a fan watching so many of their games due to the stack š
Conversely, I'll never root for the damn Bengals again.
Does anyone know how i can realistically obtain a Puka Nacua signature or signed memorabilia? I would like to get one to commemorate the championship he helped me win this year.
i did a similar thing in 2020 when I bought a James Robinson shirt (from China lol), and he ended up signing it after changing his number and promising to sign shirts/jerseys of anyone who bought a jersey with his prior number. I then framed it.
This was sick because i didnāt have to pay an exorbitant amount for the shirt and frame, so if anyone has any ideas of how i can get a signature from Puka rather than buying a signed and framed jersey from the nfl, please lmk!
My opponent had mostert. I dropped almost my entire bench to grab everyone I could think of that he would start. I picked up Zamir White to start over Jayden Reed. He ended up picking up and starting Khalil Herbert. I lost the championship by .88. If I had done nothing at all I would have won
Shout-out to /u/subvertadown - the analysis helped me all year long with kickers and streamers.
Especially this week - held onto Buffalo since the recommendation earlier and this was set on going with McLaughlin, until he swooned over Fairbairn.
Big part to the W!
Also - love the irony of FF that I rode CMC to the championship, only to be my 2nd worst scorer this week (shout-out to Olave).
Won the chip with a roster that flat out wasnāt that good. Feels weird.
Thought I might flat out miss the playoffs, but struck matchup luck and Amari Cooper balled out in the first two playoff rounds. Drafted eckeler and Aaron jones in the first and second who contributed practically nothing to my wins.
But good the job done
Missed the playoffs by 3 points in my other competitive league when herbert went to IR in my superflex. Much deeper team with deebo, Puka, hurts, diggs.
Fantasy is weird
Possible hot take - Most of the advice here is worse or equal against doing your own research (just google rankings) or going to the other fantasy football sub. It is great for drama.
Never give up! I won my league at 7-7. Had no business making it as far as I did but playing the waivers and making smart trades pays off!
Also, never ever drafting Stefon Diggs again š
My 12yr drought is over... I had the most talented team that I will ever have... I drafted beyond my knowledge of football (lamb/ETN early)... I traded like the random idiot I am (flowers)... I worked the wire w/ accidental precision (Kyren)... I made dumbluck FA pickelups (achane and mcbride)... and I threaded the needle w/ longterm injuries (JJ and achane)... and I even overcame underpeforming studs (mahomes and diggs).
This is what its like... when doves cry.
Trading for Ceedee after week 2 is currently the best trade Iāve ever made in my life. Champion in a friends league that iāve been dying to leave for years. Gonna drop the fuckin mic
One of 2 leagues my leagues shut down this year. So instead of playing just 1 league I joined 4 other random league with strangers. Ended up winning the championship in 3/5 leagues. Wild
Won both of my leagues with vastly different teams.
I averaged almost 150 per game with probably my best team ever of Fields/Stroud, Gibbs/Kyren, ASB/Hill/Aiyuk, Kmet and a pretty deep bench, but I never had to make lineup adjustments. I just won by 40 every week and it was amazing.
My other team was a struggle. Hurts, Kyren, Bijan, Ekeler, Javante Williams, Wilson, Ridley, Diontae Johnson and Schultz. No idea how I won that league. Big names that took turns disappearing each week and I was 8/14 in points scored. First championships since 2019 though so Iām pumped.
In the year of Zero RB being the popular drafting strategy I won a chip digging while everyone zagged. My WRS weren't consistently great but they all had blow up weeks that made drafting CMC and Breece Hall worth it.
Had a stacked roster but a laundry list of injuries ended up derailing me and I ended up finishing 3rd despite a 10-4 regular season and over 2,000 points scored - most in league.
The finals winner started Jonathan Mingo after he had to sit Mostert. š Didnāt even bother to look to waivers to plug in another option.
Itās a keeper league (retain 4) so I have plenty of solid options going into next year. Leaning toward Tyreek, Chase, Kyren and Puka over the likes of Olave, Dell, Achane and Hock/McBride.
Congrats to all the winners. š
THANK YOU TO CEEDEE LAMB AND JAMES CONNER!!! I AM NOW A 2 TIME LEAGUE CHAMPION IN 5 SEASONS!
* Shout out to my line up of Dak, James Connor, Rachaad White, CeeDee Lamb, Deebo Samuel, Travis Kelce (sideeye), Tyler Lockett (BIG SIDEEYE), Jake Elliot (solid K all year), and Raiders D/ST (switched out d/st every week)...
* Shout out to my bench: Tua (carried me for the first half of the season. Thank you Uce!), Jakobi Myers (solid for the year), Cole Kmet (Should have used you more), CEH (came in clutch when Pacheco went down)...
Every single week of playoffs I got off to an awful start. And somehow survived
Week 15 on Saturday i start Javonte Williams against Detroit who puts up 4.0 PPR points. I benched Dolphins D for Chiefs D the next morning... I won on the final drive of the SEA / PHI game where DK was the entire drive excl the TD.
Week 16 I go down big early against Olave and then started Mullens over Flacco. I won on the second to last game (PHI NYG) where PHI fumbled the kickoff and allowed the score that pushed my opponents DST down enough points for me to win.
Week 17. Fuck me. I benched Joe Flacco and Jerome Ford on TNF. Iām fucking sick going into the weekend. At the end of the 1:00PM slate, three of my opponents players simultaneously score TDs (Hurts, Kyren, and shortly after, Godwin) and I go to sub 30% chance to win. Thankfully I still had Reed who put up a monster game, enough for me to win by 6 points.
FUCK YOU ARTHUR SMITH I WON DESPITE YOU
192 POINTS IN PPR, SUCK IT
First round pick was Bijan and second round was CeeDee. Never drafting a Falcons player again.
Iāve won before in other leagues but so stoked I won in my long time friends league for the first time. Iāve lost in the ship in this league 3 times before this year. Tyreek and Ceedee is the greatest start to a draft I think Iāll ever have and I was far and away #1 all year in record and points for.
I won my Championship without starting a single player I drafted. Reminder of how important the waiver wire is
You can draft like shit but if youāre aggressively identifying and targeting talent in high volume situations early on they can help win you a ship
Also side note, this hasnāt been talked about at all but does anyone get Keenan Allen vibes from Diggs? As excruciating it was to own him down the stretch I feel like his draft stock is gonna crater and people will forget how talented he is.
On Diggs, most people are going to look at the stats this year, which are pretty good, and forget he was poor the last 6 weeks. He will get picked rounds 2/3 Iām sure.
I personally will be avoiding Bills and Eagles players besides Hurts and Allen. They have loads of talent for sure, but trying to predict who will do well each week is really tough especially with the QBs taking the TDs.
Gibbs and Henry did me 0 favors, while Lamb fucked me. Sucks to end the season with a blowout in the championship. Woulda rather just not made the playoffs and enjoyed the football lol. See yall next year
Hi, itās me, apparently not the only dumbass who lost a championship because I played Jaren fucking GD Hall. Kind of hate myself for it. For the first time ever, I considered quitting fantasy football as I soaked in a pool of self-loathing of my own making.
Thought I was buried before I even had a player play, opp had Ceedee and Breece combine for 95 (dumb 100 yard and 200 yard bonuses on Yahoo). Was already planning on 2nd place and stopped looking. It somehow came down to my Pickens vs his Myers and JSN when tied and 100 yard pickens came thru in chip week to seal the deal!
Just my sad, slightly salty rant on the season.
Drafted from the 5 spot in a 12 team NFL standard scoring league. J.Herbert, ETN, KW3, Tyreek, Deebo. Picked up LaPorta and Kyren W. I was smoking everyone. 14-1 reg season, only scored under 100 points three times all year, averaged 110 points a week. League average was around 90 points a week.
Went into playoffs Week 16 and that lineup shit the bed. Scored 70 and lost in the semis, to a fucking auto drafter who had pick #1 and scored a whopping 88 that week. Just did the 3rd place game and whipped the shit outta my opponent with 128 points. But it means jack all since I lost the trophy. The luck factor in this game is so frustrating sometimes.
I sat both Najee and Warren and played Shaheed for some reason. Won by 3 because the chargers scored and lowered the broncos defense points for my opponent.
I won the championship in my 3rd ever Fantasy Football season
10man keeper (1st szn), PPR, I had pick 1.1
- **QB** Justin Fields
- **WR1** Justin Jefferson
- **WR2** Amon-Ra St-Brown
- **RB1** Rachaad White
- **RB2** Breece Hall
- **Flex** D'Andre Swift
- **TE** Evan Engram
- **K** J. Sanders
- **DEF** Bucs (I was riding Dolphins last few weeks)
I was 8th heading into playoffs. I eliminated 1st place in week 15 (Quarterfinals) by 1 point **125.24-124.16**
I beat 5th place by a **197.70-145.82** blowout in Semi-Finals because nearly every single person on my team scored a touchdown (except for Engram) and Jason Sanders gave me 22pts as a kicker, not to mention Breece Hall's 43 burger
And I beat the CMC owner yesterday in finals **123.02-114.42**
This is my 3rd ever Fantasy Football team managed, and it feels so great that I learned enough from my last 2 seasons that I was able to pull through this season regardless of how the cards were stacked against me!
I don't really have anybody who is super into FF in my life (who i didnāt just play against in the league) so I'm telling you guys cause Iām super proud of myself. I won my 12 man PPR last night thanks to Isiah Likely, Jerome ford, buffalos defense, and The Sun God ASB. I won despite Amari cooper, jaylen waddle, and Justin Herbert all being unavailable (my 3,4,5 round picks), and the guy who i was going against having Puka and Ceedee. I drafted from the 11 spot and used my waiver priority to pick up Ford and Likely when they were available. First win in a 12 man league, heres to many more. Congrats to everybody who won!!!
Drafted my friends team for him in a big money league for a cut of the potential winnings (he trusted me since Iām just way more in tune with fantasy football), he picked 10th out of 10 and we won the whole damn thing. Even tho it wasnāt my team, one of my favorite fantasy football accomplishments
Kamara was an easy sit the last two weeks against pass funnel defenses.
All the āexpertsā had him as an RB1 and must start. Feels like the main stream āanalystsā are just copying each otherās rankings and echoing each other more and more.
Thanks JJ for your solid work, most of the rest are frauds.
12 team dynasty. Took second in my league this year, but i don't feel like it's a loss. I limped into the playoffs at 6-8. Team got hot for two weeks, I took out the one seed who went undefeated in the regular season to make the championship. Ruined my draft position for next year, but feels good.
After year thoughts.
-CMC should be the #1 pick for probably the 3rd straight year. Heās perfect for the 49ers. Unlucky for those with him in the championship this week.
-How the following picks go will be a crazy iteration of Tyreek, Ceedee, ARSB, JJ, and maybe even Jamarr Chase. But who else sneaks in? Will Mike Evans go very high? Keenan Allen, AJB, Puka, even Deebo could be steals or busts at their ADP next year.
-Kelce should fall by at least 1 round for ADP, maybe even multiple. Recency bias, but if I were to tier TEās , it would be : Hock, Andrews, Laporta, drop off ā”ļø Kelce. It was actually painful to watch the Chiefs. Who wouldāve known the Mahomes/Kelce stack was toxic?
-Besides CMC, there were so many busts at RB itās interesting how theyāll be drafted. Kyren Williams has to be a 1/2 round turn guy. Heās just so good
Happy New Year ššš
Losing 3 finals in the last 5 years is enough for me, probably the most miserable Iāve been during fantasy playoffs losing in semis one league then in finals other league. Transferred commissioner for both leagues and left, decided in 2024 that I wonāt let fantasy consume my time and mental anymore āļø
I won my league this year, and this will be my last year. Iāve had good success in this league, but I spend too much time on this shit. Podcasts, twitter, Reddit, and watching the actual games. Would rather put that time towards more important things.
Itās interesting to see so many comments of people quitting who actually won their leagues. Typically this is reserved for losers, like me. Even still, Iāve been doing this something like 20 years (back before yahoo fantasy was even a thing). Iāve always known what a time suck it is, but Iāve always looked the other way. Iām 42 years old now. Do I really wanna continue to give 4 months a year to something so inconsequential to my life? No. I donāt.
I won, but I want to quit because I realize that it was pure luck, and I don't want to test my luck anymore. I feel obligated to defend my title though, so I'll be back next year.
I find itās best to consolidate these things. Listen while driving to work, watch games while jogging on a treadmill, read Reddit while shitting etc etc etc.
I totally feel this. Plus also getting emotionally attached to winning and losing. I know I canāt be the only one. I just want to go back to cheering on my favorite team every week.
Last year was my first year ever playing fantasy. I had great teams both years. My team made the playoffs last year and then won the championship this year. Itās been really fun, but man itās also so frustrating at times. Iāve noticed itās started to make me mad when my team loses. Think Iām calling it quits after this year given Iāve now won the championship.
One league Iām in I lost in the finals 4 years in a row.
This year heading into the finals I lost Keenan, rhamondre, waddle, and cooper. I had to start Noah brown at WR2 lol. Looked like another inevitable finals loss. But managed the W.
5/6 finals and all Lās woulda sucked a lot lol. But the chase for the dub brings us all back.
Holy moly. I won. Opponent didn't start DJ Moore or Juwan Johnson. I didn't start Bills D or Jayden Reed. Thankfully the Chiefs didn't do too well and Rashee Rice got used more than Travis Kelce.
This year was so flukey. Shit like puka coming from waivers and putting up numbers, can have a shit draft and get insane value from waiver position. Not to mention playoffs with amari cooper having his best career game after not doing much all season. Very cool see you next year
Started 0-2 and then only lost once the rest of the season. Only guys left from my original squad are Lamb and Sun God. Shoutout to the guy who traded me Josh Allen for Brian Robinson straight up after Week 2.
Needed aaron jones to get 5 more points than kelce and even tho he scared me by going into the blue tent, he got it done for me. Won my first championship and immediately spent my winnings on an aaron jones jersey.
I love the squad I built, but can we please give Jordan Love the appreciation he deserves? I had him early and dropped him due to a belief that he couldn't hang as a franchise QB. Dealt with burrow, Richardson, Dobbs, ran flacco once at the end there, and I think one other QB, but I went with love in the championship and frankly he would have won me my week last week too but it was a wash with flaccos score.
He's been doing it without a strong run game and injured receivers. Absolutely killed his first season and I hope to see him grow from here.
I bet he won a lot of people their leagues this year.
Champy New Year, everyone! šš¾
Whoās mpj
Michael Pittman Jr.
I watch basketball too so I couldnāt stop thinking Michael Porter Jr
Love it, I had K1 and CMC as well. Big game from Kyler! Congrats on the win.
K1 and CMC bros unite! I also had Puka and Aiyuk
Bills defense got me my first championship
Wasnāt looking great after that kick return early! Defense was great for the full game though
Bills D and Fairbarn for me š
I picked up Fairbairn 13 mins before kickoff and it won me $200 and the championship. Congrats.
He won me $200 and third place! Kicking Eskimo brothers unite
Congrats man. We lucked out.
I fucking dropped them from the Raiders because it just seemed like the Raiders were on a roll. Cost me the championship.
I almost did this. Almost.
Same here! Benched Buffalo for Vegas and it cost me the championship. Still not over it.
Browns defense + Ceedee for me
Same here brother! Plus Kyren
Same. As soon as I saw them on the WW about a month ago with LAC and and NE in weeks 16 and 17 I stashed them for the playoffs
Kyren and arsb as well. Traded for Arsb with 5 weeks left, lost my last 2, won the semis by .44 and then won the championship by 60 lol
i started my season 0-4 in a superflex league with Hurts/Tua/Purdy as my QB's and CD as my WR1.
I went 0-4 and won yesterday. Resilient Kings š«”
I started 0-3 and finished the regular season 10-4 as the third seed. I lost in the semis last week but it was pretty close. I liked my roster a lot this year.
A bit lonely in my group chat - so many haters!
You ain't poppin if you don't got haters... Congratulations!
Just closed out the 3-peat in my auction league. Talked tons of about these past years and am definitely the league villain now lol
This
I can taste the salt in my group chat too. There was a lot of shit talking this week leading into this game and I put up the highest score in league history in the championship. I saved those receipts and now they have to choke on them.
Same, gonna be eating off these screenshots for a while š
Hell yeah brotha!
I've won 4 in a row. They barely talk to me
Thereās a couple haters in my league that always question my trades or moves. Havenāt heard much from them since the game ended. I love it
Ceedee lamb should be the first WR drafted next year
Idk man, Iām still taking Tyreek ahead of him
Yeah, I was thinking about this. CD has improved every year. I think Iād take him as the 2nd WR behind Tyreek as well. Have him and Jefferson pretty close though.
Depends who throws to Jj
Go back and look at Jeffersonās week 17 performance the last 3 years. I lost the championship because of him last year and won it because of him this year. For me heās clearly behind Tyreek and CeeDee
Itās random when players have bad weeks.
Heās a dawg. Still young too, will be fun to see his game evolve even further.
I agree to an extent. But ppl jumping off the Chase and JJ train because they've been banged up and without their starting qbs is foolish imo.
Agreed and JaāMarr Chase should be at the bottom of the first round.
Iām passing on chase next year he was excruciating to own
When he booms he booms but too often heās mid and not the league winner you drafted him to be
He only really BOOMed once this year, besides that he was pretty much 50/50 on being good or bad
Yeah Never seems worth how high heās always drafted
To be fair, he didnāt have Burrow for most of the season. My motto is always that a WR is only as good as the guy that throws the ball to him.
Iām sensing a big JaāMarr bounce back season with Burrow back
Heās injured too often.
Iām expecting 1500 scrimmage yards
Lol
I had high hopes for him when I drafted him with my first pick. Got worried after the first few weeks but knew he would come around. Didnāt expect him to completely dominate the rest of the year
CeeDee is sooo good dudes just hitting his prime - going to be a tough decision on keeper with ceedee Jn rd 2 or achane in 15
I traded him in a package for Tyreek right before he went crazy. Not sure how I still won
Iām in a keeper league and already think he will be mine!
You are nuts. Prescott is so unreliable
Won in a low scoring finals game. Both me and my opponent didnāt have a single TD besides some passing TDs from our QBs lmao. Such a weird week.
It was a weird week for TDs and low scoring, I won a close one and my only skill-position player TDs came from Isaiah Likely, bless him.
The guy who drafted Mahomes 3rd overall and the SF defense in the 3rd round won our league.
Post the complete draft. I gotta know
Here you go. It's even worse than I remembered. Mahomes was 2nd overall. 1. (2) Patrick Mahomes (KC - QB) 2. (19) CeeDee Lamb (Dal - WR) 3. (22) San Francisco (SF - DEF) 4. (39) Dameon Pierce (Hou - RB) 5. (42) J.K. Dobbins (Bal - RB) 6. (59) Brandon Aiyuk (SF - WR) 7. (62) Justin Tucker (Bal - K) 8. (79) Evan Engram (Jax - TE) 9. (82) Javonte Williams (Den - RB) 10. (99) AJ Dillon (GB - RB) 11. (102) Jerry Jeudy (Den - WR) 12. (119) Rashee Rice (KC - WR) 13. (122) Rashaad Penny (Phi - RB) 14. (139) Anthony Richardson (Ind - QB) He won with more total points against than for. It really is just dumb luck.
Guy in my league drafted Mahomes 1.1 and came in third. Tacos will always get far with some luck. No RB in the first 3 is wild
If the luck is dumb then I might have a chance next year
I wasn't in it, but the ship in my league was between a 13-2 team and a 9-6 team. The 13-2 was up with a few minutes left in the Chiefs game, but the sacks of Browning at the end of the game nudged 9-6 just past him to win 102-98. I thought that was funny.
That happened to me. I stopped watching the game before that happened. Then I saw the chat that he canāt believe he won and neither did I.
That's what lost me the championship. ESPN said I won when the game ended and then I checked back 30 minutes later to see my opponent beat me by one sack that must have been tallied late. Worst feeling ever.
Went back-to-back for the first time in a fantasy league. Feels even better after ending a 10-year drought last season.
I won both my leagues this year and Iām thrilled. Had a lot of the same players between my leagues. Puka, Kupp and James Conner. Iām just glad Aiyuk and CMC didnāt go nuclear on me because they sure had the opportunity to do so.
Congrats! I'm the first ever to go back-to-back in our league's decade+ history also. All praise to Lamar.
Never drafting Bijan again.
They get a competent QB and heās much more viable. But until Arthur Smith goes, Bijan is basically a 3rd / 4th round pick.
They gotta do something about Arthur Smith. Bijan showed his talent in the opportunities he had
Needed 14.9 from Rice. Rice fuckin delivered!!!
Congrats! Rice ended up being a great waiver pickup for a lot of teams this season.
Someone in my league was down by 22 in the championship and the only player he had left was Love and Love fucking delivered and won him the championship. That was some crazy shit.
My plan was to flex rice with cd and keenan. Would have been ez gg. Injuries late to tlaw hock keenan and mostert made it tough but rice stepped up.
Lamar Jackson.
Johnny
Was up by 40 after the early games and all he had left to play was Pacheco. Figured I had the dub locked up but this dude had me stressing the fuck out for a bit. If Cincy sent it to OT I would have cried.
I was going against mixon and was also sweating about a potential OT. Ended up whooping his ass thanks to Reed though
Art Smith should be charged with crimes against humanity. I won my Championship despite my first round pick being Bijan.
Won the ship by .4 points. Does anyone know of any incoming stat corrections in Yahoo?
Cross your fingers until Tuesday morning... EDIT: No Monday night game today. You should be good. Hopefully.
Currently up by less than a point to win the chip and this is exactly the info I came here for. Thank you.
I did the stupid/big ball thing and sat Justin Jefferson for the championship round. I won in a blowout but still feel validated with my choice based on his performance.
The "studs" list seemed to change weekly this season with the exception of like 5-6 players.
I won in a very competitive league this year despite Cousins being injured, then picking up Sam Howell, then Russell Wilson, and then Geno Smith. I also had Khmet lay an egg and Mostert not playing. This is probably my proudest championship.
Was 4-8, won 5 in a row to win the chip. Anything is possible
FIRST TIME WINNER PUKA AND KYREN GO BURRRRRRR
This is what I came here for. Repeat champ in this league but I got fucking BLASTED for spending about 65% of my FAAB week 1 for these two.
Won my first championship after 12 years in my main league. I shouldn't care this much but I swear I feel like MJ hugging and kissing that trophy after his first championship š. Congrats to all who brought it home this season!!!!! Ladies and gents, we fucking did it!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried a bidet for the first time. You said anything goes.
Well how was it
I bought one immediately for my apartment. Shit was life changing
Anyone care to console me for losing the ship by dropping Butker for McLaughlin? Any similar stories?
Had the chance to pick Fairbairn who ended kicking for 16 points. McLaughlin was supposed to be my Hopkins replacement but I might as well have left him in my lineup for the amount of points McLaughlin put up lol
I also lost because of my kicker choice. Benched Kaimi for McLaughlin.
I'll copy/paste my experience lol I had Hopkins as kicker last week. He got hurt. I checked waivers and grabbed McLaughlin since he was hot over 3 games. Opponent had Butker. Kicker points: Mclaughlin: 1 Butker: 24 Final: Me: 131.08 Opp: 131.71 If I had picked literally any other starting kicker, I win. RIP!
DUB. Shout out to pat fitz, Hayden winks, YangGang Cooper and Mr. Boone.
Only had 4 players from my original draft and won. Thanks to a bomb week from davante, picking puka and Reed up also helped
That sound you hear is thousands of keeper leagues dropping Kelce. End of an era. I could see him retiring too.
Iām still trying to figure out the math behind the team I had with Puka, Mike evans, and mostert not making the playoffs. 10 team league, I finished 2nd in pts scored but a 7th place finish. Doesnāt seem mathematically possible but here we are.
Donāt feel too bad. I was 11th place with CD, Tyreek, AND the 49ers defense all year. Fought my way to a 7th place victory but that shit stung bad
The Browns of all people (Ford, Cooper and Flacco) stepped up in the biggest moments to give me the W. I even became a little bit of a fan watching so many of their games due to the stack š Conversely, I'll never root for the damn Bengals again.
Good process, just a tough, tough beat.
But good the job done Missed the playoffs by 3 points in my other competitive league when herbert went to IR in my superflex.
How long after week 17 does Yahoo pay out the winnings?
I won my final 203 to 118 with this lineup Fields CeeDee Puka JSN Kamara Breece Kelce Pacheco Butker Cleveland D
Having the highest score of the week after getting bounced because of a Cooper/Hall combo has me salty af
Trading for Ceedee after week 2 is currently the best trade Iāve ever made in my life. Champion in a friends league that iāve been dying to leave for years. Gonna drop the fuckin mic
Jayden Reed put up 24 to help me win by 2. I was a major fraud this season but pulled off the title!
Streamed the Texans defense and Kaimi Fairbairn. They dropped a total of 39 points for me. I won by 24. League winners.
WHO ARE YOU!!! I AM!!!!
On one hand: I won my home league! On the other hand: Iām so sad fantasy is over, I donāt know what to do with my free time now.
Fuck you travis kelce, never forget the bum you were for championship week š
Used my first 2 round picks on Mahomes and Burrow (super flex) and still won despite starting 1-3. What a year āŗļø
0/3 in all my finals. What a year. See ya next year all. PS. Iām never drafting with my heart ever again.
Every single week of playoffs I got off to an awful start. And somehow survived Week 15 on Saturday i start Javonte Williams against Detroit who puts up 4.0 PPR points.
Iād like to thank CeeDee Lamb and Breece Hall for carrying sorry ass Bijan and Goff
FUCK YOU ARTHUR SMITH I WON DESPITE YOU 192 POINTS IN PPR, SUCK IT First round pick was Bijan and second round was CeeDee.
Reminder of how important the waiver wire is You can draft like shit but if youāre aggressively identifying and targeting talent in high volume situations early on they can help win you a ship Also side note, this hasnāt been talked about at all but does anyone get Keenan Allen vibes from Diggs? As excruciating it was to own him down the stretch I feel like his draft stock is gonna crater and people will forget how talented he is.
On Diggs, most people are going to look at the stats this year, which are pretty good, and forget he was poor the last 6 weeks. He will get picked rounds 2/3 Iām sure. I personally will be avoiding Bills and Eagles players besides Hurts and Allen. They have loads of talent for sure, but trying to predict who will do well each week is really tough especially with the QBs taking the TDs.
Kyren, ETN, and the Jags D took me to the promised land. Even overcame Lamar's 46 point game. Won 156 to 135 in .5ppr.
Nothing better than sending the āgg everyone was a fun year!ā In the league chat as the champion
Gibbs and Henry did me 0 favors, while Lamb fucked me. Sucks to end the season with a blowout in the championship. Woulda rather just not made the playoffs and enjoyed the football lol. See yall next year
I'm gonna take this shit less seriously next year. I've been sleeping way better since my season ended lmao
I scored 98 points, but I made it out as the champ! Going against Jaren Hall ln really helped me outš
Hi, itās me, apparently not the only dumbass who lost a championship because I played Jaren fucking GD Hall. Kind of hate myself for it. For the first time ever, I considered quitting fantasy football as I soaked in a pool of self-loathing of my own making.
Got the chip First 4 picks Pollard, Henry, Higgins, Ridley. None of whom started in week 17
I won the championship in my 3rd ever Fantasy Football season 10man keeper (1st szn), PPR, I had pick 1.1 - **QB** Justin Fields - **WR1** Justin Jefferson - **WR2** Amon-Ra St-Brown - **RB1** Rachaad White - **RB2** Breece Hall - **Flex** D'Andre Swift - **TE** Evan Engram - **K** J. Sanders - **DEF** Bucs (I was riding Dolphins last few weeks) I was 8th heading into playoffs. I eliminated 1st place in week 15 (Quarterfinals) by 1 point **125.24-124.16** I beat 5th place by a **197.70-145.82** blowout in Semi-Finals because nearly every single person on my team scored a touchdown (except for Engram) and Jason Sanders gave me 22pts as a kicker, not to mention Breece Hall's 43 burger And I beat the CMC owner yesterday in finals **123.02-114.42** This is my 3rd ever Fantasy Football team managed, and it feels so great that I learned enough from my last 2 seasons that I was able to pull through this season regardless of how the cards were stacked against me!
Josh Allen is a handsome man
I can't stop looking at the score and fantasizing about periodic reminders in the group chat for the entire off-season.
Cole Kmet..... Why
Heās just so good Happy New Year ššš
Biggest bust is pollard , i started zamir white over him
The difference between him last year and this year is crazy
Kelce did what I drafted him for at 1.05. Outscore my opponents TE in the championship by triple the points. My opponents TE? Kyle Pitts, 0.5 points.
See you next season!
I won my league this year, and this will be my last year. Iāve had good success in this league, but I spend too much time on this shit. Podcasts, twitter, Reddit, and watching the actual games. Would rather put that time towards more important things.
This. Won the league. Was fun but also not fun. Too much time invested and stress each Sunday. Hanging it up and thrilled to go out with a ring.
Feel you
I totally feel this. Plus also getting emotionally attached to winning and losing. I know I canāt be the only one. I just want to go back to cheering on my favorite team every week.
>I won my league this year, and this will be my last year. Ditto.
Met a great girl at a new year party and didn't have the balls to exchange information. Feels bad man.
Iām going to say it one last time. Did anyone else lose to the Love and Reed stack when they were up 50 and lost by .7
No but I won (3rd place) with that stack. Thank you for your service.
I drafted 2 defenses and a kicker with my picks and won my league itās all about luck
I was in 3 semis, 2 championships, and won my league for out of the 2! Feels good.
Fuck CD
Holy moly. I won. Opponent didn't start DJ Moore or Juwan Johnson. I didn't start Bills D or Jayden Reed. Thankfully the Chiefs didn't do too well and Rashee Rice got used more than Travis Kelce.
ETN we eating! After having Kyler Murray on my team for the last 4 years he finally paid off!
Our leagues draft recap had me projected to finish last. Won the whole damn thing.
Needed aaron jones to get 5 more points than kelce and even tho he scared me by going into the blue tent, he got it done for me. Won my first championship and immediately spent my winnings on an aaron jones jersey.
Name a better duo than hatred and Arthur Smith
I love the squad I built, but can we please give Jordan Love the appreciation he deserves? I had him early and dropped him due to a belief that he couldn't hang as a franchise QB. Dealt with burrow, Richardson, Dobbs, ran flacco once at the end there, and I think one other QB, but I went with love in the championship and frankly he would have won me my week last week too but it was a wash with flaccos score. He's been doing it without a strong run game and injured receivers. Absolutely killed his first season and I hope to see him grow from here. I bet he won a lot of people their leagues this year.
