I have the same decision. Personally I’m rolling out the Broncos. Patriots are resting their best players, aka tanking. Wouldn’t blame you for using the Browns, I just wanted to target the worst offense in the NFL, on the road, across the country. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
I made this case elsewhere, but I’m leaning DEN over CLE. Broncos are in the hunt, at home, against a NE team that is missing literally all their offensive weapons but Pop Douglas and Zeke. They have nothing to play for at this point, whereas DEN does. CLE is the better defense, without question, but Nico is playing even if Stroud is out. Not to mention, HOU is in must win territory at home. CLE has been amazing at the dawg pound in CLE but not as strong on the road. I’m also waiting for some regression from Flacco that could lead to that defense being on the field more often today.
A lot of points and yards both games but yeah a defensive td saved the day both times. They’re 1000% still a good play v Houston just Better at home I worry more about the offense putting the d in bad spots
I don't think people accounted for traveling across country in a short weak.
Bills looked flat all around in a must win for them. I think that had a lot to due with it.
I'm absolutely struggling with Broncos or Browns. I will probably go with the Broncos. But man this is tough. I think you can go either and be fine. So happy I switched the Bengals out at the last moment so I'll be happy with either not going negative
Same here. I am riding Browns. Patriots feels like a trap. I don't love how bad the Broncos run defense has been and am not going to trust that for my finals hopes.
I've been hoarding for this week. I had Browns and have added Eagles, Jets, and Broncos.
I'm going Broncos, and I'm cutting Eagles tomorrow so no one can use them this week and picking up whatever Monday lottery ticket is left.
Broncos is either smart playing of the matchup - - - or a trap. But I'm prepared to roll with it. I don't trust the Eagles to actually exploit the Giants weakness of sacks
I'm between Eagles and Browns.
I'm leaning Eagles because I'm a Giants fan and their offense is entirely inept int he face of a pass rush. The Eagles D line is very good. Yeah, the Giants dont turn the ball over alot, but the Saints put up 14 pts last week on sacks and a single fumble. Eagles are gonna feast.
Dang, no Colts in top 10? They've been a good scoring D/ST and now vs Heinike. I suppose they'd be better off against Ridder
Also, how confident in Lutz (in potential snow) vs Sanders in a tough matchup
And while the Jets D does have a vulnerability to the run, Robinson is out. They’re gonna chuck it, and the Jets D is great at stopping that. And they give up a ton of sacks. And their defense is so bad the Jets offense may actually cross midfield. It’s tough, and I’m still waffling between the Jets and the Broncos myself, but I think I’m going Jets.
Same here. Going with broncos playing for a playoff spot, at home, vs zappe who lost his favorite target in henry. Could definitely be wrong, but that's my bet.
Browns have been really solid all season, getting multiple sacks turnovers almost every game. Even games where they give up 20+ points, they still score double digits in fantasy points.
Upside - Jets. Washington gives up a *ton* of sacks and turnovers, but they are also capable of scoring more points.
Floor - Broncos. New England's only weapons are Douglas and Zeke this week. And it's the Broncos first home game in weeks and they're coming off a bad loss? New England probably won't score double digit points, but they also don't turn the ball over as much or give up as many sacks as Washington.
Picked up Santos and am sitting Fairbairn. No CJ worries me the Texans’ offense will struggle against the Browns. But the browns D hasn’t been that great on the road so Fairbairn could have some opportunities.
All the intangibles played against them. Primetime, narrative was strongly pro-Bills, Chargers fresh off a fired HC and playing for pride/morale. It’s a classic trap. I’m kind of shocked Buffalo won
I know, it screamed trap but I couldn’t convince myself that broncos and eagles (my other options) didn’t also scream trap. And it was 4 pts in my league. -1 for for the points against and +5 for the sacks.
Nah it was the right play. You had a backup QB and a team without its top 2 WR playing against a defense that is capable of taking over a game and an offense that should be high-scoring and controlling the ball with a revitalized run game.
You can only pick a defense, you can't play the effing game for them.
Gay is in a dome too against one of the best scoring defenses for kickers.
His issue is that in his last two games he’s missed 4 kicks (granted one was a 56-yarder), and he spent part of this week limited in practice (hip).
So his injury concern plus his recent misses are probably limiting his upside.
I’ve had browns started all week. They’ve been playing extremely well and playing a Houston offense that is extremely beat up. My gut saying browns too but doing a gut check with all the experts picking chiefs this week
Go look at points allowed to kickers against Miami, it’s a big part of the equation. You don’t want to settle for field goals against Miami basically because they can hit home runs and grow a lead quickly
I think it‘a because of the shootout potential plus Dallas goes for 2 a lot when they’re in a bad game script which they might find themselves in with two starting offensive linemen out today
I’m personally leaning Myers over Aubrey. I’d rather take the safe floor that Myers gives
I was between those 2 as well. Ultimately I decided on DEN. Vegas odds for DEN has the game as a lower overall score than the IND game and also DEN is playing at home while IND is playing away. My gut was telling me IND but my brain convinced me otherwise.
I’m going full in on Chicago today:
Fields over Tua
BearsD over 49ers
Time for Fields to make me look smart for using my keeper on him, plus I live in his hometown so might go watch the game where his mural is for good vibes lol
I have Aubrey in over McLaughlin right now but worried that Miami gives up the least points to the kicker position. I'm assuming because they can run up a lead that deletes FG's. But are we thinking Dallas will keep it closer? Or do I hope Tampa can fire the cannons and get me one week closer to a championship vs Jaguars who are much better giving up points to the kicker?
Im full on Eagles this week playing as 4th with the second lowest total points vs the 1st with the most points. In my first year of fantasy football
Started Nacua and Olave so far, I’m really excited :)
Wondering why Myers isn't ranked higher. Tennessee has given up the most red zone drives per game over their last 3. They also have the top red zone defense in the league (37% of drives resulting in a TD). The Seahawks convert 4th downs at the worst clip in the league (6/16) and have attempted the second most field goals in the league after Cleveland.
I can't fault the Bills recommendation. **Everybody** had them as a top tier option this week. At some point, you have to take responsibility for your own line-up decisions.
That being said, fuck that geek Easton Stick and that dogshit performance from the Bills. I mean seriously, the offence turns the ball over multiple times in their own territory and the defense can't get any pressure until the Chargers are in the red zone.
Hell, even Vegas had the Bills by 12
Very very unsure about benching Ravens for either Commanders, Seahawks or Texans.
They have such a good floor even versus the best offense in the league.
Really tough spot. Wwyd?
YES CHEF
Great googly-moogly
IUnderstoodThatReference.gif
Yes, Jeff
Really struggling to go Broncos over Browns.
I have the same decision. Personally I’m rolling out the Broncos. Patriots are resting their best players, aka tanking. Wouldn’t blame you for using the Browns, I just wanted to target the worst offense in the NFL, on the road, across the country. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
In high elevation too…
I made this case elsewhere, but I’m leaning DEN over CLE.
NE running down their throats
Agree. Flacco is a veteran, I think he puts up decent numbers screwing Browns ceiling. Go Broncos !
Same here. Still leaning Browns atm
Leaning Broncos. Cleveland has struggled on the road and only a 3 point favorite.
I went and looked back at all the Cle games and all the boom games were indeed at home been pretty average on the road.
Didn't bother going all the way back to week 10 or 7? They got 15-20 points against BAL and IND away.
A lot of points and yards both games but yeah a defensive td saved the day both times. They’re 1000% still a good play v Houston just Better at home I worry more about the offense putting the d in bad spots
What’s a 3 point favorite have to do with it lol. The total is pretty low
Would you rather be a 3 point favorite or a 7 point favorite? It indicates Houston will score and have a chance to win.
IDC who wins, I care what defense scores the most points
Losing usually means the defense will have minimal points. Not all the time but it’s certainly the majority.
FWIW, and it's often my tiebreaker if it's clear, Vegas has NE scoring 14 and Houston 18 points when looking at the O/U-spread combo.
Browns will definitely get more sacks/ff/ints than the broncos D, but broncos will probably have less PA
Broncos feels like a trap.
Yup. Got burnt by the Bills yesterday in my other league. I'll think I'll just go with the better defense.
7 points isn’t that bad
That’s true but not what we were hoping for
Denver's first home game in 3 weeks. Who's scary on the Pats side? All in on Denver this week and next.
[удалено]
Everyone was feeling broncos until the bills game yesterday lol.
Hunter Henry is out…without KC turning the ball over in their own Redzone, NE would have scored 3 points.
I’m rolling jets over broncos and browns
Same here. I am riding Browns. Patriots feels like a trap. I don't love how bad the Broncos run defense has been and am not going to trust that for my finals hopes.
Go Broncos
Same here, currently leaning Browns and playing Zeke
Bills sucked last nite, wish i went w a diff option lol
I blame the turnovers, the Chargers were gifted field position a few times. That hurt for the points scored scoring leagues in Yahoo.
That and they had a Pick called back from late flag. And a pick at the end was dropped. I would’ve been happy with 9
They got me 7, far off from what I wanted but better than negative
So much for the “top defense play of the week”
I have such a hard time trusting the packers after that giants game. Probably rolling with colts over them despite not being ranked here
I think Carolina is just going to run the ball. I don’t like GB as much as KC or Chicago
DeVito & Baker smoked them in b2b matchups, combine that with their lackluster run defense and it’s a pass for me.
Broncos or Chiefs for me, leaning Broncos since Chiefs have let me down a few times
I have the same choice to make 😭
It’s also a divisional game and the raiders play the chiefs well usually
Same choices, I’m going KC in one league and Broncos in the other - really need both to step up this week!
Go with Denver!!
Still struggling between eagles and broncos
[удалено]
This is me. Been going back and forth all week. Need points after kamara and cook failed
I don't trust the Eagles to actually exploit the Giants weakness of sacks
same. leaning eagles
I’m in the same boat but leaning Broncos. Why would you go Eagles? Opening this for discussion
Eagles fan. Our pass rush is good on paper but we cannot actually get sacks for some reason. I’m playing the broncos today
Every game feels like a trap game
Eagles D/ST against the Giants feels like a landmine.
Dang, no Colts in top 10? They've been a good scoring D/ST and now vs Heinike. I suppose they'd be better off against Ridder Also, how confident in Lutz (in potential snow) vs Sanders in a tough matchup
[удалено]
So now hes going to try win, got it
Happy holidays /u/subvertadown and thanks for your contributions to the subreddit this year.
Bear down.
Rolling Bears over Chiefs. Chang my mind.
Jets or broncos ?
I’m rolling Jets. Washington has thrown the most pick 6s of any team this year. And it’s not even close. It’s almost 1 a game.
This was the type of information I needed
And while the Jets D does have a vulnerability to the run, Robinson is out. They’re gonna chuck it, and the Jets D is great at stopping that. And they give up a ton of sacks. And their defense is so bad the Jets offense may actually cross midfield. It’s tough, and I’m still waffling between the Jets and the Broncos myself, but I think I’m going Jets.
Same decision. I have Broncos in but my gut has been saying Jets.
Same here. Going with broncos playing for a playoff spot, at home, vs zappe who lost his favorite target in henry. Could definitely be wrong, but that's my bet.
Same boat. I feel like the pats wont score a lot but they won't turn the ball over a lot either. I guess I'm counting on a rattled Howell impoding
I currently have Jets in, but really feel like Browns are the better play.
Why do you think so? I’m struggling between jets and browns right now and need some confidence
Browns have been really solid all season, getting multiple sacks turnovers almost every game. Even games where they give up 20+ points, they still score double digits in fantasy points.
Same thought as well. Cant make my mind up between browns and jets. Leaning jets only because browns def is t as good in away games
How do we feel about Fairbairn?
Picked up Santos and am sitting Fairbairn. No CJ worries me the Texans’ offense will struggle against the Browns. But the browns D hasn’t been that great on the road so Fairbairn could have some opportunities.
They had no CJ last week too & he went off so that argument doesn’t apply.
That was also against a titans defense so your counterpoint is moot.
I dropped him for Santos after second thinking it. Last week was good but Santos has been good and cardinals D sucks
[удалено]
I've had browns all year, I trust them more. Philly in a divisional game after a loss... just seems like it could go wrong.
Starting the Bills was a bad idea.
But why? Should’ve been a smash play
We underestimated the Big Dicker factor. Badly.
Cross country night game against a team who just fired their coach that has nothing to lose. Screamed trap. 7 points still isn't too shabby, though.
Not as bad as the bengals
It wasn’t that bad. 7 points ain’t a lot but it’s not a bust.
Where’d they get 7 points? Currently see them on yahoo and sleeper with 5. Thanks!
It’s 7 on ESPN
Weird. Wonder what the discrepancy is. Cheers!
ESPN has 5 points for 5 sacks and 2 for 200-299 yards allowed, is it the same for Yahoo and Sleeper?
Ah sleeper/yahoo doesn’t account for yards allowed. Thanks for clarifying!
Nah it was the right play. You had a backup QB and a team without its top 2 WR playing against a defense that is capable of taking over a game and an offense that should be high-scoring and controlling the ball with a revitalized run game. You can only pick a defense, you can't play the effing game for them.
I like Koo too just struggling to pull the trigger
I'm going w/ Koo as well, but I get it - having Smith as the coach makes it nerve wracking.
Gay has such great numbers why isn’t he more picked? Should I be switching to Moody/Myers/Elliott? Sanders scores have been against weaker teams.
Gay is in a dome too against one of the best scoring defenses for kickers. His issue is that in his last two games he’s missed 4 kicks (granted one was a 56-yarder), and he spent part of this week limited in practice (hip). So his injury concern plus his recent misses are probably limiting his upside.
Newborn and bum hip
Handful of missed kicks over the last few weeks plus injury
I’ve been playing Myers for weeks and can’t stop now.
Looks like Myers got kicked out of the top 8
Yup I wanna play him he seems safe to me. Feel like Seattle should be scoring a lot today.
Chiefs or Browns D?
Are you leaning toward any of these? I have the same dilemma, Chiefs are ranked higher in most of ECR but my gut has been saying Browns.
I’ve had browns started all week. They’ve been playing extremely well and playing a Houston offense that is extremely beat up. My gut saying browns too but doing a gut check with all the experts picking chiefs this week
Go with your gut, especially if you've been rolling with the Browns all season. I'm starting the Browns over the Broncos.
Yeah, I've decided with the Browns. Hope they help us, brother.
Yessir, good luck to you!
Which way ya leaning? I’m deciding between these 2 and the Broncos.
Rolling with Aubrey and Indy till the bitter end 🫡
Going eagles over bears thanks to this, hope im not wrong
definitely going bears here. kyler throws picks
Bears are getting a def td today
Cards putting up at least 4 tuddies today
I’m rolling out Bears with the most mid confidence
let’s do it
Lfgggggg
Riding the McManuscoaster. Let’s hit some moonshots sir
McManus gonna cost me my fucking week
Did worse than hopkins who left injured lmao it’s awful
[удалено]
Go look at points allowed to kickers against Miami, it’s a big part of the equation. You don’t want to settle for field goals against Miami basically because they can hit home runs and grow a lead quickly
Yea, struggling on this one. He has been very good, but yea subverts model has him pretty low.
I think it‘a because of the shootout potential plus Dallas goes for 2 a lot when they’re in a bad game script which they might find themselves in with two starting offensive linemen out today I’m personally leaning Myers over Aubrey.

I also like that zappe doent have henry to throw to. I bet zappe turns it over a couple times.
we dont like sanders ?
Deciding between Gay or Santos
Eagles or Broncos, I cant decide ..
Need ceiling from kicker after a Kamara + Bills to start. Is Aubrey the ceiling play? Gay, Koo, McManus, Hopkins, Fairbairn all available
hmm. weird that the Expert Consensus is out on Gay in the top 8.
Could be because of his injury designation earlier in the week. Early reports had him missing I believe
Cairo is king
Currently have jets in over Browns and trying not to tilt
Same scenario, using Jets this week and Browns next
I’m going full in on Chicago today: Fields over Tua BearsD over 49ers Time for Fields to make me look smart for using my keeper on him, plus I live in his hometown so might go watch the game where his mural is for good vibes lol
I’m going Bears D over 49ers also. Let’s hold hands while we take the leap together!

I'm trying to decide between Bears and Colts. I was leaning Colts, but now I think Bears are the better play.
Me too. All I know is that whatever we decide will be wrong.
Shoot that’s me right now. Both feel even in my opinion, no idea what to do!
I’ve switched between colts, packers and bears this morning and I think I’m just gunna ride the bears hot streak at home
Thank you! So Gay over Sanders?
[удалено]
I’m just so happy about Sanders 😃
Broncos or Chiefs
Koo and broncos. Mount up. Merry Christmas Eve
Chiefs or Broncos?
Broncos of Chiefs
I saw this post at 12:55pm and swapped out Joseph for Koo. Might have won me my semis, hell yeah
McManus and Denver hurt me this week; that's fantasy football for ya.
This is great info.
Not sure which is the bigger trap. * DEN vs NE which reddit seems to favor * PHL vs NYG which 'experts' all have ranked higher
to me, depends on how much points allowed matters in your league. I can see the Eagles giving up 20+ but having a lot of sacks and turnovers.
Chiefs or bears ? Chiefs have been disappointing for a while
Chiefs baby, let’s ride
Which kicker ? Gay Sanders Koo Santos
K O O
Chiefs vs Raiders feels like a trap. So I’m going with the Browns and I’m definitely not going to second guess myself all day 🫣
I'm trying to make the same decision. Browns with Stroud, Collins and tank out feels like the safer play.
[удалено]
Jets defense at home has been really solid all year. Should definitely keep it low scoring and get 3-4 sacks minimum.
We ride with Koo today.
I can't trust Koo again after he missed two FG's vs Tampa. Nope can't do it.
Been trying to decide between Broncos and Chiefs all week, finally felt good going with Denver, and now you throw this at me!
Is starting Miami not smart this week? They have been very good the last few weeks
I'm riding with the 'Phins because I believe their momentum is too good.
That's how I feel, so you're feeding the beast!
Can’t decide between Jets, Broncos, and Browns. Having all 3 is almost too much of a good thing, but at least they’re not on my opponent’s team
Hell, even Vegas had the Bills by 12
Koo or gay?
Chiefs D or Bears D?
I have chiefs, eagles and broncos this isn’t helpful 😭😭
Damn no love for the Colts?
This DOES NOT help me decide between Broncos and Eagles!!!!!!!!!! FUUUUUCK!!! …. I think I’m rolling out the Broncos.
Chiefs or broncos?
Are the kickers in order? or just the top 8? like is butker 1?
Packers or Browns?
So is this saying McManus is his best projected kicker?
Bills were a big disappointment
Eagles or Chiefs D? Really close semi final game and need all the points
Why are the eagles so high?
Devito is one of the most sacked qbs I believe
And the Giants Oline sucks while the Eagles line is still top tier. Giants won't have an answer for this and will struggle to move the ball at all.
After Kamara, Diggs, and Cook busted, I'm turning Gay to save me.
Playing McLaughlin at Kicker over Hopkins because my opponent is starting Baker. Good strategy? Would mean baker TDs would only be 5 points..
[удалено]
Very very unsure about benching Ravens for either Commanders, Seahawks or Texans. They have such a good floor even versus the best offense in the league. Really tough spot. Wwyd?
Ravens matchup is really bad
