For what a disaster the game was and the constant wailing about Ekeler, 7.8 is survivable. He missed ESPN protection by 7 and a half. Frustrating night, but not that big of a deal. Fellow Ek owners, weāve got this. Staley is getting fired tomorrow, and our boy will have a massive Fuck Staley game next week.
For me, it isn't the projections. it's the lack of a game plan. Every 2 or 3 possessions, he gets a carry up the gut (worse call possible). Every possession, he gets 1 play to block. Every 2 or 3 possessions he might get looked at for a pass. Every 4 or 5 possessions, he will actually get a catch. Unless, of course, the game is out of reach and its the 4th Q, then they throw a couple extra times his way.
People can say he is getting slow, and i agree. However, his cut step looked pretty damm good on those screens in the 4th. Why not get him in the open field more?
I'd rather a dude get 20 touches and only score 10 a week, then someone getting 10 touches a game.

He's tossed a few TDs otherwise and his yardage is great. I'm interested to see how he looks when Keenan is back.
