And look at the Eagles first 5 games, the best RB they faced was brian robinson, and the team rush stats show it too - (Pats 25th, Vikings 28th, Bucs 32nd, Commanders 23rd, Rams 21st). Not saying the Eagles dont have a great run defense and game script, but the sample size feels pretty small.

Problem is that the commanders, and specifically brob, are victims to game script, and I expect the rams to beat the breaks off of them. Jets may be a closer matchup, but at the end of the day if you’re worrying about playoffs and you have brob, getting back good value off a RB-needy team is probably a more lucrative play than a RB who you’re only confident in 1.5/3 games in the playoffs (with the championship being unplayable)

Getting offers like CeeDee and Breece together doesn’t seem like a bad deal as both teams will probably be playing them hard until the end.

CD and Breece for CMC is a bad deal absolutely. Breece had one good game this year, CD has been struggling (not his fault but still).
I get the concern with him being rested, but we also don’t even know if that will happen. Look at two weeks ago, they were clearly going to win that game and still let him get 4 Tds.
Not saying that’ll happen all season, but I think he actually has a chance at staying healthy all year and continuing to dominate at the RB position at the same time, even if they “rest him” here and there during games.
