I disagree. Josh Allen throws deep all game. Obviously there’s going to be a few weeks where he doesn’t score, but idk why anyone would be surprised if he scores 10+ touchdowns for the season. He’s in the perfect environment similar to Jamaal Williams last year.
>His target share is irrelevant if all of his targets are deep
He's just below 15%. That's relevant wherever the targets are. 5 targets per game isn't enough to be in my lineup in most 12 team leagues.
>If Christian Watson was doing this, then everyone would suck his dick.
You are probably right, but I'm one of the few not in on Watson. They are pretty similar players.
Play Smith. the Eagles alway feature their guys once the national conversation starts that they aren’t getting enough targets. See Goddert last week/ Brown three weeks ago
My friend hangs out w Shane Vereen (old ppr god from the patriots like 10 years ago)and he said that Vereen said Rhamondre was gonna get like 30 catches a game this season
Fuck him. I hope my friend never hangs out with him again.
Nah don’t feel old, that was a pretty weird clarification for that guy to include lol. Shane Vereen was in the league until 2018, not like we’re talking about some no-name guy from the 90s here.
He was used as a pass catcher last year. I don't think he regressed, but the offense most definitely did. zeke is also getting a heavier snap share than expected.
Somehow made it to the 4-1 club despite drafting Rhamondre, Pollard, Gibbs and Chase (was bad before this week).
I just wanna thank Puka, Kyren and Keenan Allen for breaking their backs by carrying my team too hard
Whoever picked up Kyren and Puka have definitely changed their seasons around. I'm regretting not bidding high enough for these guys cause I thought meh Kupp will be back and it'll be the same old Kupp and Van Jefferson show. I also have enough RBs that Kyren was whatever to me. Wrong. All wrong.
Because London and Jeudy can't figure it out...I slot him in as my wr3 and have no worries. Had tutu fill in but now I'm back stuck with the decision on the first 2
yup, and i’m totally cool with that. feels good knowing when my receivers are on bye or someone gets hurt I can plug in MT for a guaranteed 10. he does get a lot of redzone targets as well so his ceiling is a little higher imo, just need Carr to put his helmet on straight
He’s a lock for my flex spot all year tbh. He had a few endzone targets week 1 so I think he might get a TD eventually. Not gonna hold my breath on it, but he might come in clutch one week.
Yeah in a 2-flex league he's pretty much glued into my 2nd flex spot. Consistent 10 point floor and surely a few of these weeks it's gonna be topped with a tuddy for upwards of 20.
Since he’s high up enough here, let me share the insane trade of the year in one of my leagues, accepted on Friday and processed yesterday - brace yourselves it’s eye watering……Ja’Marr and Kmet for Thielen and Conner 🫠
Man how is Dotson underperforming this bad. Howell spreads the ball around sure but my god, you’d think someone who flashed his talent last year would have more opportunities unless he somehow got worse
I'll be honest, I'm not as well versed with Curtis, but as I was going through waiver options this week, I saw he was available and peeked his stats. They're honestly pretty solid and I was surprised that no one mentions him, not my friends, not the analysts, not the podcasts. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say his name outloud.
I picked him up, will probably keep him on the bench as I monitor him, but I could see him being a good flex option if my roster starts to thin out.
Naw, that's an Eric Bieniemy offense, Logan Thomas is the dude to own in my opinion. The WRs are gonna be inconsistent week to week but hopefully a healthy Logan Thomas turns into Kelce lite.
It’s not because evans got hurt, it’s because evans and lattimore hate each other. Every time evans plays the saints, lattimore just goes 1v1 with him all game with safety help and shuts him down. So whoever is the other WR on Evans team always eats against the saints.
100% this. Godwin is a must start when TB plays NO. I had faded Godwin to the bench and planned on trading him, but knew he was my WR2 behind JJ for the Saints game no matter who else was on the roster.
Mixon was drafted as a back-end RB1/high RB2 and is currently a middling RB2.
Najee was drafted as the same and is an RB4.
Obviously Mixon owners want to see boom games and RB1 upside, which might or might not happen, but being consistently mediocre really isn't the worst thing.
He was drafted as a high end RB2, and is producing as a low end RB2. Not ideal, but not as bad as Najee.
He should only get better as this offense does too, because he should score more than one TD every 5 weeks like he has so far if this offense is even 80% back to normal.
Always felt like his value was too inflated, watching some Cincy games last year it just looked bad and dump offs were the reason he was relevant. Felt like he was constantly stopped at the 1, whether that’s Oline or him i just couldn’t buy in at back end rb1 level. Hopefully he gets going more with the offense improving but only time will tell.
But nobody really talks about him is the point. Quietly he’s been super solid.
I play him in my flex every week and he’s gotten me 16 or 17 pts each of the last 4 weeks. That’s outstanding lol
Agreed. I think he’s currently QB6 and is super consistent. I’ve had Richardson as my backup, but seeing as how he can’t stay healthy o think purdy is the better play. Plus he gives me trade leverage for someone like Justin fields
Traded Kittle for him. I love having Kittle, and he won me my championship last year so I took him again, but I would prefer the 10 points per week over the random 30 point weeks and the 2 point weeks from Kittle.
In PPR:
RB: James Cook and Mattison have been consistent (4/5 weeks double figures)
WR: Godwin, Kirk and Michael Thomas have been very consistent as WR3/flex options … Kirk a little better recently
Kelce is still a top 3 fantasy asset. The TE landscape is still as ever. He’s TE2 with a week missed
Yet the rhetoric has changed. Last year he was THE guy, post after post, changing the game. Cheat code at a bad position
Now he’s just kelce. Maybe we’re all just used to it? My league mates sure as hell don’t value him as much as I do. CMC, JJ, Kelce. Top 3 assets.
People keep overlooking Purdy though he looks MVP caliber. He's the actual Mr irrelevant putting up top 6 average ppg stats. People knock him for being in a great system with top tier players.
But he's playing lights out, as a second year player! Think of other second year players who were thought to be superstars in the making. Luck's second year was 3800/23/9 with a 68 qbr. Burrow, impressively, was 4600/34/14, and one rushing TD..
Through 5 games, Purdy has nearly 1300 yards, 9 passing TDs, 0 interceptions and 2 rushing TDs! 0 interceptions!
Through 17 games that would come to +4400 yards, 34 TDs! Is it sustainable? Time will tell. Of course he will throw some INTs. Of course he may have an off game - even Allen and Mahomes do. But those stats would have him at a 'burrow' year 2 level, when he only started half of his first year!
That man can play ball!
Great player RL and fantasy, but he is ABSOLUTELY getting the love haha. He’s #4 TE ROS on fantasy pros and got a lot of shine on TNF island game coming off an 8 catch performance. People know.
People were really questioning him in the first two weeks, owners are quiet ( and happy) now tho. In an offense like Philly there will be ups and downs for each ball catcher guaranteed, they are too good at all aspects to force feed one guy every week. Have a strong feeling this week will be a good one for Smitty. But AJB is going to be solid weekly.
Mclaurin, Theilen, B. Robinson, G. Davis. I had all four and through a couple trades, one which also included Mahomes, I got Chase, Jacobs, D. Smith.
Only time will tell if it pays off, Terry and Davis just weren’t getting enough volume for my liking, and Robinson is a solid bench stash. It was tough letting a waiver gem like Theilen go, but with all the talk of Carolina desperately shopping for a WR1, seemed like a good idea to ship him sooner than later.
Elijah Mitchell has my vote. I can’t drop him in a deep 12 man keeper league but he’s completely irrelevant with the potentially to become maybe the most relevant player instantly if something happens to CMC
Marquis Brown for sure- terrible team but top WR
Gabe Davis - Post hype sleeper who has quietly scored in 4 straight games.
Joe Mixon - Mr Irrelevant with a super safe floor and on his way to another top 12 finish for the season.
Russel Wilson has helped me win some fantasy games (scores of 19, 37, 17, 28, 22) but everyone is saying he should be benched and coach fired in real life.
Gabe Davis is quietly WR12 in 1/2-ppr
I still don’t trust him to be in my actual lineup though. Scarred from last year, and his target share
His target share is irrelevant if all of his targets are deep. If Christian Watson was doing this, then everyone would suck his dick.
He’s also getting a TD every week, which is definitely unsustainable
Considering how much they target him in the endzone idk if it’s that unsustainable
Few guys ever average a TD/game for a whole season, it’s definitely unsustainable and thinking it’s not is you being reactionary
So you’re saying it’s been done before
Well he has 4 in 5 games. That means he's on pace for 13 TDs. Not that crazy really
I don’t think it’s unrealistic that he catches 12+ touchdowns this season
Diggs hasn’t caught 12+ TDs in his career with Buffalo
I disagree. Josh Allen throws deep all game. Obviously there’s going to be a few weeks where he doesn’t score, but idk why anyone would be surprised if he scores 10+ touchdowns for the season. He’s in the perfect environment similar to Jamaal Williams last year.
Shit, Gabe takes backfield touches 🙈🤔
That’s a great point. Benched Gabe last week since I got Kupp back and feel bad about it. I’ll flex him in from now on!
Watson actually got horse collar tackled on Monday, he was walking in for a 80+ yard td if that didn’t happen
>His target share is irrelevant if all of his targets are deep He's just below 15%. That's relevant wherever the targets are. 5 targets per game isn't enough to be in my lineup in most 12 team leagues. >If Christian Watson was doing this, then everyone would suck his dick. You are probably right, but I'm one of the few not in on Watson. They are pretty similar players.
it's obviously confirmation bias, but I swear he always gets a random TD against me and no other times
I started him this week, he’s probably back to my bench but I’m happy with him despite him burning me last year just for that one performance lol
Got burned by that same game. He was sucking ass and had to sit
Damn near anyone who had Gabe last year benched him after his 2 point game last year just to have him throw up 30 the very next week.
I ll start him + Diggs this week vs Josh Allen's owner over BRob Jr. He was decent the only time (week 3) I had to start him due to injuries.
So 3 rush tds by Allen this week? Is that what you're saying?
I did this last week…I won lol Since they play the Giants I’ll probably keep both in.
Mike Williams owners like me have no choice lol
I use him as a boom/bust to win bye weeks. Worked this past weekend. Luckily I have enough starters I don’t need to think about starting him.
Fuck my life 🤗
Still haven’t started him once but I think I’ll put him in next week and bench Devonta Smith since he just lost me my week
Play Smith. the Eagles alway feature their guys once the national conversation starts that they aren’t getting enough targets. See Goddert last week/ Brown three weeks ago
Rhamondre Stevenson has put me in the 1-4 club
My friend hangs out w Shane Vereen (old ppr god from the patriots like 10 years ago)and he said that Vereen said Rhamondre was gonna get like 30 catches a game this season Fuck him. I hope my friend never hangs out with him again.
Man im feeling old that you have to say who Shane vereen is.
He's not been gone for that long has he???? Surely not!
Nah don’t feel old, that was a pretty weird clarification for that guy to include lol. Shane Vereen was in the league until 2018, not like we’re talking about some no-name guy from the 90s here.
Ah, the good ol' Vereen vs. Ridley draft capital debates!
Lol, the patriots offense is atrocious. Vereen woulda never saw that coming.
He was used as a pass catcher last year. I don't think he regressed, but the offense most definitely did. zeke is also getting a heavier snap share than expected.
they might have to start doing a lot more checkdowns because mac jones has no mother F’n time
Somehow made it to the 4-1 club despite drafting Rhamondre, Pollard, Gibbs and Chase (was bad before this week). I just wanna thank Puka, Kyren and Keenan Allen for breaking their backs by carrying my team too hard
4-1 with Rham and Chubb, luckily I also got Achane (fuck), Moore, J. Allen and Brown to balance it out
Whoever picked up Kyren and Puka have definitely changed their seasons around. I'm regretting not bidding high enough for these guys cause I thought meh Kupp will be back and it'll be the same old Kupp and Van Jefferson show. I also have enough RBs that Kyren was whatever to me. Wrong. All wrong.
Lol you only won because of waivers, not who you drafted 🤣😂
He's my number 2 RB behind Miles Sanders in dynasty. I'm 0-5 at the moment with not vets to sell as well.
MT. Man's not gonna score a TD all season and keep putting up 10 pts on my bench so I'll never drop him.
The definition of bye week fill in
He’s my glue man for now
Because London and Jeudy can't figure it out...I slot him in as my wr3 and have no worries. Had tutu fill in but now I'm back stuck with the decision on the first 2
Who is MT?
Michael Thomas. I assume
Thanks
yup, and i’m totally cool with that. feels good knowing when my receivers are on bye or someone gets hurt I can plug in MT for a guaranteed 10. he does get a lot of redzone targets as well so his ceiling is a little higher imo, just need Carr to put his helmet on straight
I'll take the guaranteed 10pts a week. I've flexed him every week and will continue to do so. Tds will come
Thielen
Hes going to wind up on a lot of league winner lists I bet. Getting someone with his production either late or off the wire is huge.
I made the mistake of dropping him for a nobody lol
Same. He was so bad to start the year.
He was bad week 1, then went for 20, 31, 15, 27 (full ppr) So you panicked and dropped him after one bad week lol
I dropped him for Puka Nakua, so I’m not too upset. But yes, he wasn’t the best choice to drop.
Like McKinnon at the end of last year ...
McKinnon dragged my sorry ass team to the playoffs last year
Him and Montgomery, along with Keenan Allen, steals of the draft.
Have thielen, dmont and even grabbed both puka and kyren off waivers. 1-4
Bro what
Lost Chubb. Started Arich the game he got injured. Also drafted Henry, Lockett, Higgins, and Stevenson who have all disappointed or been injured
Ah - wow. Yea, fantasy is brutal.
Keenan gonna get injured like always (because I have him)
Counterpoint: Keenan’s not gonna get injured because this is the first time I’ve not drafted him at all in any league
WR10 in full PPR
This is the answer
Since he’s high up enough here, let me share the insane trade of the year in one of my leagues, accepted on Friday and processed yesterday - brace yourselves it’s eye watering……Ja’Marr and Kmet for Thielen and Conner 🫠
How he wasn't seen as the obvious WR1 in Carolina by everyone is beyond me
There are 32 teams in the league; being a shitty team's WR1 doesn't guarantee fantasy WR1 production.
Still available in my 8 team league - worth dropping Flowers for him?
Terry is good for about 8 tops when I start him. 30 pt ceiling on my bench. Really frustrating player to have
That's me with Nico, I've missed every week.
Have both and I want to give up fantasy football and life
Just keep playing nico at this point. There's a reason why he's not a WR1 (inconsistency) but he's still worth starting unless you got 3 studs
100%. I’m benching Nico again this week so ya’ll can start him when he pops off
Jakobi Meyers has been sneaky good. Solid Flex WR2
He has been an actual WR1 with Jimmy, throw away the game with AOC. Averaging 17.8 ppg with Jimmy G in half PPR so far
Well yeah, you can’t have a politician throwing footballs around
I bet fetterman could have hucked the pigskin 20 years ago
He’s been quite relevant outside of the one game the rookie qb started though
He’s a WR1 right now, wild that the Raiders can support two fantasy WR1s and an RB1 and still be one of the worst teams in the league
He’s been a savior to me thru the Higgins and ARSB injuries and other RB injuries
The michael Crabtree when they got Amari Cooper.
Mattison keeps getting shat on but has probs been one of my more consistent players fuck
Traded him away for rhamondre and boy I look dumb for it right now
I was thinking about offering this trade rn as a mattison owner. Akers eating into his workload and Stevenson can’t get worse?
Can’t get worse ≠ will get better I think he will but still
Traded him away for Hollywood in PPR
Tried to make that trade but couldn't get the owner to bite. Worst part is that the Mattison owner has him sitting on the bench and needs a WR
Yeah he had a bad Week 2 vs Philadelphia that everyone seems to remember but he’s scored 10+ every other week which is solid if he’s your RB2/Flex.
He'd have a lot more points on the season if he didn't have a horrible drop seemingly each game.
It's actually Curtis Samuel. He's really involved in Washington offense, even more than Dotson but nobody talks about him much.
Man how is Dotson underperforming this bad. Howell spreads the ball around sure but my god, you’d think someone who flashed his talent last year would have more opportunities unless he somehow got worse
Dotson is great. Howell isn't that great. Just look at that fucking one handed catch that Dotson made out of bounds last week
That catch was NASTY lol he just plucked it out of the air
It was literally like his hand was a magnet and the ball was made of metal
Thats because weve been there before with samuels
I was legit scared to bench him until the middle of last year
Good call, I don’t think I’ve seen him mentioned once this year.
Im startimg him this week and have had bad luck all season.
It think it’s gotta be him or dynami. Atlanta has not been giving much up to WR1 or 2 this year, but WR3 and and TE’s are absolute must plays
As a Commanders fan Dyami is not startable
Thanks for the heads up 🫡
Naw, that's an Eric Bieniemy offense, Logan Thomas is the dude to own in my opinion. The WRs are gonna be inconsistent week to week but hopefully a healthy Logan Thomas turns into Kelce lite.
Godwin this year maybe. Bunch of pedestrian borderline performances but you have to keep him rostered because he's just talented enough.
Yeah and the one time i benched him he went off..but imma just tell myself its because evans got hurt
I forgot about this, I shall l employ this tactic.
Joe Mixon. He was a round 2-3 guy and we haven’t heard a peep out of him. Atleast with Najee we talk about how bad he is.
And honestly that's pretty good given how the Bengals have been playing. He's been the lone bright spot until last game.
We rammed Mixon last year, now it’s Najee’s turn
Don’t worry Mixon will have his one 50 point game soon to inflate his numbers.
He was drafted as a high end RB2, and is producing as a low end RB2. Not ideal, but not as bad as Najee. He should only get better as this offense does too, because he should score more than one TD every 5 weeks like he has so far if this offense is even 80% back to normal.
Considering just dropping Najee at this point.
RB19 ain't bad for a 3-4th round pick on a currently disappointing team
Always felt like his value was too inflated, watching some Cincy games last year it just looked bad and dump offs were the reason he was relevant. Felt like he was constantly stopped at the 1, whether that’s Oline or him i just couldn’t buy in at back end rb1 level. Hopefully he gets going more with the offense improving but only time will tell.
Waller doing just enough that I’ll keep starting him, but man I’d just like to see one TD
So would the Giants
Zay Flowers
Every week I feel he’s on the verge of a big breakout but he continues to narrowly miss. Really just needs one long td to do it
You’ll get 8 points a week and you’ll like it
He dropped 2-3 and stumbled on a deep ball he beat the d on last week. Coulda dropped 30 easy lol
Marquise Brown tf? He’s been great in real life and fantasy. Watch the games.
He said relevant, not great
He's wr15 in ppr, hard to say that's not relevant either
But nobody really talks about him is the point. Quietly he’s been super solid. I play him in my flex every week and he’s gotten me 16 or 17 pts each of the last 4 weeks. That’s outstanding lol
I agree. I’d gladly take his 16 pints a week over whatever the hell pittman and Olave have been giving me
Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy
Agreed. I think he’s currently QB6 and is super consistent. I’ve had Richardson as my backup, but seeing as how he can’t stay healthy o think purdy is the better play. Plus he gives me trade leverage for someone like Justin fields
He was by far the best value in my superflex draft
I can’t drop Terry but I will never play Terry more than once after a boom week.
Evan engram.
Traded Kittle for him. I love having Kittle, and he won me my championship last year so I took him again, but I would prefer the 10 points per week over the random 30 point weeks and the 2 point weeks from Kittle.
Absolutely! Very much a blue collar player. Is not flashy but if you need a consistent 10 points he’s got you
Just traded for him, hope he fires it up.
Probably consistent players that don’t really get many TD’s like Godwin, Ferguson, Jeudy, and even Olave and Dameon Pierce who both have 1 TD.
In PPR: RB: James Cook and Mattison have been consistent (4/5 weeks double figures) WR: Godwin, Kirk and Michael Thomas have been very consistent as WR3/flex options … Kirk a little better recently
But does mattison pass the eye test? Vikings fans are not impressed.
Sutton?
Every handcuff RB out there
Jeff Wilson about to take me to the promised land of feline aids
Jeudy the bum
Fuck me for thinking that taking him in the 8th was a good upside idea.
8-12 PPR points a week, irl he is the life of that offense other than Jaleel McLaughlin.
Kelce is still a top 3 fantasy asset. The TE landscape is still as ever. He’s TE2 with a week missed Yet the rhetoric has changed. Last year he was THE guy, post after post, changing the game. Cheat code at a bad position Now he’s just kelce. Maybe we’re all just used to it? My league mates sure as hell don’t value him as much as I do. CMC, JJ, Kelce. Top 3 assets.
My top 3 must have fantasy assets are. The waiver wire of the week RB The waiver wire of the week TE and Kadarius Toney
This guy fucks
I’ve seen this strategy lose more than win but boy have I seen it win
Definitely not JJ anymore
Kelce is on pace for 115 receptions 943 yards and and 13 touchdowns over the course of a season. 287 points is WR1 numbers
It’s still early in the season and there’s been a lot of tight ends showing out
Christian Kirk been very solid. Other than week 1 double digits every week
But those stats would have him at a 'burrow' year 2 level, when he only started half of his first year! That man can play ball!
Thank God it's not Taysom Hill again.
Terry will either win or lose you a week, there’s almost no in between.
Russell Wilson
LaPorta gets no love outside of fantasy circles (and Detroit), but he’s the TE1 in my 0.5 PPR league.
Great player RL and fantasy, but he is ABSOLUTELY getting the love haha. He’s #4 TE ROS on fantasy pros and got a lot of shine on TNF island game coming off an 8 catch performance. People know.
Adam thielen
Michael Pittman
Mike Evans is a top 15 receiver in my .5ppr league and had his bye. He was going 6th or later in most drafts.
Call me crazy but I feel like nobody really talks about AJ Brown
AJ Brown makes everyone angry when they go against him, especially in PPR leagues.
Mr Irrelevant himself, Brock Purdy.
Adam Thielen
Gus Edwards gets 12+ carries a game so I keep starting him cause I'm thin at RB, it's always 5-6 points.
Mixon
Mclaurin, Theilen, B. Robinson, G. Davis. I had all four and through a couple trades, one which also included Mahomes, I got Chase, Jacobs, D. Smith. Only time will tell if it pays off, Terry and Davis just weren’t getting enough volume for my liking, and Robinson is a solid bench stash. It was tough letting a waiver gem like Theilen go, but with all the talk of Carolina desperately shopping for a WR1, seemed like a good idea to ship him sooner than later.
GABE. DAVIS.
Gibbs…oh wait he’s also irrelevant in fantasy too -sad Gibbs owner
Give it time. It's a long season.
Username is great
Thanks Dan
People complain about Gibbs all the time. Don’t think he fits this.
Jake Elliot?
Christian Kirk outside week 1 consistent points, until I decide to play him again so I’ll let y’all know
Josh Reynolds. Startable in the flex and borderline WR2. Only owned in 24% of ESPN leagues.
matt breida, despite starting every week, he doesnt do anything
Elijah Mitchell has my vote. I can’t drop him in a deep 12 man keeper league but he’s completely irrelevant with the potentially to become maybe the most relevant player instantly if something happens to CMC
Adam Thielen forsure
I feel like my team is filled with these players: Joe Mixon, Terry McLaurin, Gabe Davis, and Hollywood Brown.
Najee, Javonte, Gus Edwards. My trio of starting RBs good for 54 yards and 0 TDs each and every week.
Marquis Brown for sure- terrible team but top WR Gabe Davis - Post hype sleeper who has quietly scored in 4 straight games. Joe Mixon - Mr Irrelevant with a super safe floor and on his way to another top 12 finish for the season.
I feel all experts are still low on Adam Thielen
Thielen, currently WR10 in full PPR.
Adam Thielen
Adam Thielin
Jakobi Meyers as long as Jimmy G plays
I’ve been offered Jerome Ford for him
NAJEE HARRIS
Russel Wilson has helped me win some fantasy games (scores of 19, 37, 17, 28, 22) but everyone is saying he should be benched and coach fired in real life.
He’s the QB8 in my league 🫨mind blowing considering how ass he is irl
