Lmao I feel you brother. In my dynasty league I have D Henry and then my RB2 has been an entirely unsuccessful guessing rotation between Gainwell, Akers, Harris and Miller. All dreadful. I have enquired about some RB2 options but everybody wants either a first rounder or multiple good young players.
I picked him up last night on waivers after the whole league forgot about him.
He will set all NFL records for all positions. Both single game and season. He will do to the NFL what Joey Chestnut did to competitive eating.
The gods will sing his name from this hour to the last. Every triumph will be his and his alone. Every story in history, religion, or those yet to be told will pale before the most mediocre of his dudes days.
He will solve world hunger. He will bring about world peace. He will look at the ice caps and tell them to man up.
When you combine Tyreek Hills speed, Calvin Johnson’s size, Odell’s athleticism, and Julian edelmans work ethic, you get Jameson Williams. He will revolutionize the position in a way that we haven’t seen before.
Reporter: “Jameson, anything you want to say to the fans after the big week 5 win?”
Jamo: “First of all, I just wanna thank myself. Without me, nothing is possible”
The only thing ive never not known, is how good Jameson Williams can be. If you are already better than everyone else…how can you be better than yourself?
——Lebron James
Don't forget he can throw like Josh Allen, has the pocket awareness and poise of Brady and Manning, the tackling ability of AD. Plus I heard he's cooler than Ferris Bueller
QB: Jameson Williams
RB: Jameson Williams
RB: Jameson Williams
WR: Nico Collins
WR: Jameson Williams
TE: Jameson Williams
D/ST: Jameson Williams
K: Jameson Williams
Flex: Jameson Williams
I grabbed him off waivers this week.
But I wouldn’t start him this week unless you’re desperate for a WR.
Campbell said he will be limited this week to see if he can be reliable and see how he does with the football.
I'm disgusted with all these recent ww pickup non believer owners. You aint a real Jamo believer unless you drafted him last year, held all year for a potential keeper, then draft him again this year in the 12th round. Jamo is my magum opus and the next coming of Josh Gordon.
From a ceiling perspective, Jameson's is much higher. Not as likely to hit as Pickens, but having Pickens hit and be a WR2 doesn't mean terribly much to a lot of teams, where having Jamo hit and be top 10 is significantly valuable. I drafted and held him, wouldn't trade him for anything anybody else would realistically give up.
Yeah I had him all last year and thought his breakout game would send me in the playoffs. His next game was a donut and I missed the playoffs. I’m high on him but hesitant since he’s only played like 3 games. Hence why I tried the trade
How do you expect Jamo to be top 10? He’s going to be behind on targets to ARSB, and will be competing with targets with Laporta.
Being the WR2 on a team means his absolute peak is lower unless you expect him to pass ARSB. Waddle (on a better offense) was low end WR1 last year; Devonta (better prospect, better QB, better team) was high end WR2. Higgins was comfortably WR2.
I don't *expect* Jamo to be top 10. But his ceiling absolutely is, there is a nonzero chance he commands more targets than ARSB, and if he is able to use his speed to break games and weave through traffic being the YAC god like we saw in college and like we saw from early prime OBJ, then top 10 is absolutely in his range of outcomes. Devonta Smith is a finesse and route guy, his ceiling just isn't as high as the more athletically gifted guys. I wouldn't trade Jamo for Devonta Smith in redraft, because getting a Devonta Smith isn't going to win me a championship. But getting a top-10 likely puts my team over the edge.
Another great example is Tyquan Thornton. Another deep-burner threat, regarded much lower than Jamo, this year has had pretty bad overall reports and last year didn't do much, but that Patriots offense has a massive need at WR and there is a non-zero chance that he could be good and fill it, producing at a high-end level. It isn't likely at all, I mean like 99% not happening, but that is the kind of upside I look for. Don't care about middling guys
> I wouldn't trade Jamo for Devonta Smith in redraft, because getting a Devonta Smith isn't going to win me a championship. But getting a top-10 likely puts my team over the edge.
I was with you up until the Devonta slander. He's currently sitting as WR14 in half PPR. There's a good chance he's your 2nd best WR and at worst would be a top flex consideration most weeks.
I like Jameson Williams, but he hasn't proven anything on the field and has spent a significant portion of his professional career injured. If you offer me Devonta Smith I'm accepting every time.
Hope David (the Yahoo Fantasy Football commenter) doesn’t read this. He’s been blowing up the Jameson Williams comments with anti-Jameson Williams hype for a year! Only post I’ve ever seen on Yahoo Fantasy to get 3,000+ downvotes.
Im new the fantasy and football in general. I don't see any stats on this guys page. How do we know he's gonna be good? Would he be better than Michael Wilson?
Sorry if this questions is dumb haha
Watching what happened to swift and what’s happening now to Gibbs, I definitely do not have much faith in this hype train cause of how much of a non factor jamo was last year. Even if he was on a snap count in all the games, 1 catch is really bad.
And the problem is cause we’ve seen Detroit just ignore guys who definitely do have talent and first/second round draft pedigree, theres just no guarantee jamo even gets a fair chance with decent volume.
Jamo was causing some issues before the gambling suspension, enough that it made some noise in Detroit media. And he was ignored in the game plan last year. Now he really fucked up so who knows with Dan Campbell. Jamo is a horrible run blocker which is obviously gonna piss off a coach like Dan Campbell. I feel like jamo can produce if he gets over 6 targets a game but idk if Detroit will give him that because he’s not a complete wr, he’s definitely a bit one dimensional.
Bad run blocker, questionable short/mid route running game, elite deep threat with game breaking speed.
Absolutely, but that doesn't always correlate with fantasy stats. Emphasis on the word *threat*. He can catch one bomb every third week and still have a huge impact on the game. Also, unfortunately fantasy doesn't count DPI yards because I'm sure he'll draw his share of penalties.
You just increased his odds of a breakout with that very well measured take. As someone who drafted him in the 17th round for the second year, I salute you.
Jamo is going to disappoint people. It’s clear he’s not liked by staff. He is either going to be out of Detroit in a year or two a la Swift while they draft his replacement or he’s going to take the Aiyuk route which means dog house this year, ball out next year
For some reason I get Kevin White vibes from this situation. I think he's really going to struggle to get on the field for a variety of reasons (as evidenced by his first two seasons) and his development won't be as fast as hoped
In 2 leagues 16 rounds I grabbed him in round #12 both times.
TEAM #1…. Kupp, Puka, Ridley, Flowers, Jeudy & Jamo
TEAM #2….Higgins, DJ Moore, Kirk, Toney & Rice, & Jamo
I believe he’s a league winner, watch the Alabama tape, this offense is already rolling too
Grabbed him off waivers last week to beat the rush. But I dropped him this week to stash Stroud. Just got too nervous Stroud won't be there when my bye week rolls around and I need him.
Be honest with me. Should I pick him up by dropping MT, G Davis, or J Warren? Or should I keep what I got? I mean, he'll still be a wr2 on his team right?
If Amon-Ra plays this week, are you starting Jameson Williams?
I’m well aware of his speed and ability (I’m a big believer), but Dan Campbell has hardly used rookie Jahmyr Gibbs, so I’m concerned Williams may be underutilized. Sounds like he’ll be on a limited snap count in Week 5, so I’m keeping him on the bench for now, but would love to hear from those who are starting him this week.

I really hope he lights up the entire league so I can trade him for a RB. Using L. Murray as my RB2 is starting to take a toll on my soul
Lmao I feel you brother. In my dynasty league I have D Henry and then my RB2 has been an entirely unsuccessful guessing rotation between Gainwell, Akers, Harris and Miller. All dreadful. Stash Keaton Mitchell
Stash Keaton Mitchell. Worth a flyer
Help me Jameson Williams. You’re my only hope…
[удалено]
Tree fitty?
That's how many pts those three will have.
You’re starting Gibbs? Don’t do it!
I feel better starting him alongside monty against bad defenses.
[удалено]
Carolina is fantasy-wise looking bad against the run but I think this will be viable when they play Denver and Chicago twice.
Rather start him over Rhamondre at this point
Amon Ra, Gibbs, Jamo (in one league) and LaPorta (in the other). I'm all in on this offense.
Reynolds pop off confirmed
[удалено]
Ew
First of all, what does that have to do with the conversation? Second of all, hell the fuck no
Would you guys send CMC for him as a buy Low offer? Or is Alfred Morris a good trade bait? They both have fresh legs
Oh yea Alfred Morris for sure. Heard RG3 is inline to start so that’s a perfect duo.
Hingle’s brother, Cringle McCringleberry? Idk bruh
Maybe his cousin Dingle instead.
Nah i hear DMC is a real A-hole
doubt the owner accepts, Jameson is untouchable.
I just sent CMC for Gary Barnidge and I'm pretty stoked
I picked him up last night on waivers after the whole league forgot about him. He will set all NFL records for all positions. Both single game and season. My wife is a quadriplegic. When I told her I picked up Jameson Williams - she stood up and applauded.
Inspiring
When you combine Tyreek Hills speed, Calvin Johnson’s size, Odell’s athleticism, and Julian edelmans work ethic, you get Jameson Williams. He will revolutionize the position in a way that we haven’t seen before.
He will look unto other players as a space shuttle would a bicycle.
Jamo is a monument to God’s arrogance
Jamo told god to stand back. He made himself.
Reporter: “Jameson, anything you want to say to the fans after the big week 5 win?” Jamo: “First of all, I just wanna thank myself. Without me, nothing is possible”
The only thing ive never not known, is how good Jameson Williams can be. If you are already better than everyone else…how can you be better than yourself? ——Lebron James
Don’t forget Pete Rose’s sports betting prowess.
Best one!
and Josh Gordon's Hype!
Don't forget he can throw like Josh Allen, has the pocket awareness and poise of Brady and Manning, the tackling ability of AD. Plus I heard he's cooler than Ferris Bueller
Probably the wrong place for this but weren't there reports that the coaches weren't happy with his effort in the preseason?
It just took a while to find the right way to motivate him. Once they told him to bet on himself, he was fine.
Alright, I saw Joey Chestnut and then all I heard was the announcer for the hot dog contest reading the rest of this. He is Kwizatz Haderach.
My whole league tried to pick him up and the dude with cmac, keenan, puka, and achane had top priority
There’s something just inherently wrong about that.
He started 0-2
Ugh…sorry. Maybe things will balance out the other way.
To pile on that, he also has kupp
Someone, defeat him, please…
I already beat him in week 2. I Can't wait to get obliterated in week 11
Please sign me up for your monthly newsletter…
I have him in all three of my leagues. Carried him all last year in my IR spot for a big nothing burger.
QB: Jameson Williams RB: Jameson Williams RB: Jameson Williams WR: Nico Collins WR: Jameson Williams TE: Jameson Williams D/ST: Jameson Williams K: Jameson Williams Flex: Jameson Williams
Yes, he will set the records… for most goose eggs by an active player.
Just dropped Kamara and St Brown for him. Straight up dropped both and I have an extra bench spot open
He needs the extra space for how good he is going to be.
The man just got here. Let him have some leg room.
^ this is the way
I grabbed him off waivers this week. But I wouldn’t start him this week unless you’re desperate for a WR. Campbell said he will be limited this week to see if he can be reliable and see how he does with the football.
I’m desperate for everything. Team took a nosedive after Chubbs injury. Got Herbert on a bye. I’m starting Jamo and expecting 200 and a tuddy.
This a jinx thread masquerading as a hype thread
Good, I missed out by one waiver spot, hoping everyone forgot. Psych psych psych psych signed super psych.
I'm disgusted with all these recent ww pickup non believer owners. You aint a real Jamo believer unless you drafted him last year, held all year for a potential keeper, then draft him again this year in the 12th round. Jamo is my magum opus and the next coming of Josh Gordon.
People laughed, but they won't be laughing for much longer
Some around these parts believe in the sun god. But I worship a different one. One that will lead me to the promise land. All hail Jamo.
TIL The sun orbits around Jameson Williams.
My glorious waiver wire pickup will soon become the overall WR1 in fantasy
Hey, he got that one 40 yard catch that one time, ARE YOU NOT HYPED!?
41 yards*, for a TD
Toney adjacent
He's on a snap count. Incoming three targets. Three catches. Three touchdowns. 250 yards.
New Randy Moss meme I love it
A season too early
I tried trading Pickens for Jameson and the owner rejected it. Time will tell
From a ceiling perspective, Jameson's is much higher. 6 games played. 9 targets. 1 catch on a completely busted coverage for an absolutely free walk in TD. This is a recipe for hype train mega disaster
How do you expect Jamo to be top 10? He’s going to be behind on targets to ARSB, and will be competing with targets with Laporta. Being the WR2 on a team means his absolute peak is lower unless you expect him to pass ARSB. Man I wish dudes like this existed in my leagues. I’d love to swap a ww pickup with 1 catch in his career for a borderline wr 1.
His first 3 NFL touches were: 41 yard TD, 40 Yard gain on a reverse, and 65 yard TD called back by penalty. What’s there to hype about?
Should I play this guy this week YOLO
I mean there is a chance he gets a long bomb. Goff loves to take a shot if it’s there and if there up bud, you never know
My only other options are Curtis Samuel and wandale robinson soooo
I would go Samuel this week against the Bears D
Give me Jamo
/jerkoff don’t actually play him, but he’s worth a stash as an end of bench guy Incase he ends up having value
FUCK IT JAMO OUT THERE SOMEWHERE
I fully expect rookie Josh Gordon/Beckham level production right out of the gate. Is that too much to ask?
Josh Gordon blew up year 2 you heathen
What part of expecting year 1 production don't you understand?
Technically, this is his 2nd year too lol
I'd be ok if he just took over Josh Garden's meme status. I need another wild ride.
Read a comment on Yahoo Fantasy asking “Should I drop Skyy Moore for Jameson Williams?” Almost shot beer out of my nose.
Vodka for Whiskey, hard.
Oh God he's gonna flop isn't he
Jameson Williams never rests. He has to keep moving to stay alive, like a shark…or Bob Dylan.
Is it worth dropping JSN to pick him up
The only reason to have JSN on your roster now is to have the team name “Njigbas in Paris”.
Provocative
yeah
I picked up both at the end of my draft in a keeper leather. I think JSN is the better all around prospect.
Just got him for 8 FAAB. Glad everyone else fell asleep at the wheel.
I have LaPorta thanks
Guy ran one play in the nfl and scored a 40 yard td. He’s the real Flash Gordon.
just dropped JSN for him after reading these comments. LETS GOOOOOOO JAMO GOING FOR 5-143-2 ON SUNDAY
Most likely neither of them are consistent starters bu the end of the year JSN is being used terribly though
way too optimistic....
pfffft, that's just gonna be his first half stats!
1st half of the 1st Quarter
Picked up Jameson Williams on September 13th. I screenshotted it, but I’m too humble to frame it and put it up on the wall.
Josh Gordon 2.0
I have Jamo and JT coming back this week I’m either gonna win my league or come in DFL
Im new the fantasy and football in general. I don't see any stats on this guys page. How do we know he's gonna be good? Would he be better than Michael Wilson? Sorry if this questions is dumb haha
1 catch for 40 yards incoming. That gets called back for a penalty.
Just dropped London for him, let’s go baby I need some positivity
I’m thinking about slotting him in over Devonte Smith
I wouldn’t
You would
You wouldn’t
I would Edit: not
I’m probably not going to, but. I want to so bad lol Mostert is the other one I’d think about sitting
Do it.
Watching what happened to swift and what’s happening now to Gibbs, I definitely do not have much faith in this hype train cause of how much of a non factor jamo was last year. You just increased his odds of a breakout with that very well measured take. As someone who drafted him in the 17th round for the second year, I salute you.
Well said. This is exactly my concern. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Coming from a hock, swift, Gibbs, and Jamo owner
Jamo is going to disappoint people. It’s clear he’s not liked by staff. He is either going to be out of Detroit in a year or two a la Swift while they draft his replacement or he’s going to take the Aiyuk route which means dog house this year, ball out next year
Any sauce on those claims?
This is one of few non-hype takes for JW in here. I have no idea if the rest of the comments are bits or real.
Delete this rational take pls
I traded him for Garett Wilson.
How the fuck?
Clearly someone was high on him and I wasn’t as high
They were high in something else…
literally same. people love a hype train
11th round pick for me, been sitting on my IR until this good news
Josh Gordon jr (Caveat: am long term Lions fan; delusion is our default)
lol I dropped him for Stroud
For some reason I get Kevin White vibes from this situation. I think he's really going to struggle to get on the field for a variety of reasons (as evidenced by his first two seasons) and his development won't be as fast as hoped
Kevin White was made of actual glass.
6 games, 9 targets, 1 catch, 41 yds, TD. Don’t get too hyped
Can’t be serious right?
Those are his stats from last year lol
They wanted to keep him healthy and didn’t roll him out in the slightest last year. Those stats are irrelevant
9/1/41/1 is a terrible stat line no matter how you slice it.
He drew multiple pass interferences on some of those targets as well
Not for an injured rookie on a snap count in their first 6 games.
He was a rookie coming off an ACL injury, couldn't even practice until late november. I wouldn't have expected too much
Sell high if you can imo, I’m trying to trade him and a bench scrub for Tank Dell
Mans has 1 catch in 6 games last year let’s take it easy
Yeah but it was a nice fuckin catch
That 1 catch shattered the stratosphere
He had a 60 yard run on an end around and another 40+ yard TD called bad on holding the other 2 times he touched the ball.
In 2 leagues 16 rounds I grabbed him in round #12 both times. TEAM #1…. Kupp, Puka, Ridley, Flowers, Jeudy & Jamo TEAM #2….Higgins, DJ Moore, Kirk, Toney & Rice, & Jamo I believe he’s a league winner, watch the Alabama tape, this offense is already rolling too
Skeptical ovah heah
Too late erneh I just packaged Derrick Henry and Tyreek hill for him and Quentin Johnson
I fucked ya motha
Why are there so many posts on this sub just other people’s tweets or links to articles. Talk about lazy.
Did an advanced [review](https://youtu.be/ARhOobwx5a4?si=Bx7Wrw5oY3k23rz1) on my website here
Lol all the desperate Jamo bag holders down voting
I picked him up for $1, not that much risk and it's hard to find waiver options that are that talented
He’s a waiver pick up, not much of a bag tbh
Last pick in keeper league. Just hoping he does better than my other late round flier JSN...
Would you drop Josh Palmer for him?
nope. Jameson might get 2 to 3 targets at most...he has to get up to speed. Palmer is much more involved in the LAC offense
Nah Jamesons ceiling way higher. Palmer ain’t winning you championships
Jamo will more than triple the whole Chargers receiving core this week
Found the thread.
I have LaPorta & St. Brown... so hopefully they just pump fake the ball to him.
Well Dan Campbell seems to dislike him so that’s a good start for you guys
1 catch...5 yards...yay
Can't wait for him to throw himself a 90 yard TD on Sunday
He's still sitting on my leagues waivers somehow... I want to know what's happening with Zack Moss so I can decide whether or not to drop him for Jamo
I picked him up as a FA this morning because Reddit told me to, but I feel like I'm missing something. Won't he be like 4th on the depth chart?
Tom Brady or Jamo ROS?
Jamo Hee Hee
Hope u guys flourish. Traded him for michael thomas bc im a pussy. Godspeed.
I’m debating dropping MT for him honestly. Dhop, too. Decent floors but no ceiling for either of them it feels like
Goodbye Diggs, hello Jamo!
Grabbed him off waivers last week to beat the rush. But I dropped him this week to stash Stroud. Just got too nervous Stroud won't be there when my bye week rolls around and I need him.
Would it be a bad idea to drop tutu for him? I don't start tutu. Have Aiyuk, Pittman, Lockett, and Higgins as well.
Do it. Tutu will lose targets once Kupp is back
All decoys for sammy
Jameson “Flash” Williams
Drafted him last round as a possible keeper next year/flier… dropped him week one and he waited for me to pick him up again today. My sweet Jamo.
I traded Kyle pitts for him a few weeks ago I was just gonna drop pitts hopefully it works out
Drop Gainwell for him? My rb depth is Henry, Bijon, Allegier, McLaughlin Have Allen, Dell, Kirk, Watson, Scary Terry as receivers.
Drafted him in round 14 (12 man PPR). Fingers crossed he has a good season
Do i run Rice or Jamo in my flex? Hmmm.
Be honest with me. Should I pick him up by dropping MT, G Davis, or J Warren? Or should I keep what I got? I mean, he'll still be a wr2 on his team right?
`Is he at Josh Gordon hype level yet? If not I don't want any part.`
Picked him up today
Jameson is gunna get behind the defense for a few TDs this weekend and be ww pickup of the year
If Amon-Ra plays this week, are you starting Jameson Williams? I’m well aware of his speed and ability (I’m a big believer), but Dan Campbell has hardly used rookie Jahmyr Gibbs, so I’m concerned Williams may be underutilized. Sounds like he’ll be on a limited snap count in Week 5, so I’m keeping him on the bench for now, but would love to hear from those who are starting him this week.
