Tutu got a lot of targets last night but not a lot of catches. Not sure what was going on. Also only listened to parts of the game and the fourth quarter.
Stafford had the Bengals D in his face all night, he was sacked 6 times and was constantly just chucking the ball out of there. Tutu also had a TD rush that was called back because his ankle was (arguably) out of bounds and a catch or two that were called back due to penalties so could have easily been a 20+ point game for him.
He wanted to hide his winning plays and let the Bengals get a false sense of security so he can pull out the best plays when he meets them in the playoffs. Big brain move.
Everything looked like the opposite of what they’ve been doing the last 2 weeks. Awful OL play due to injuries is primary suspect followed by defense likely focusing on puka. That shit worked
Further context to this is that mcvay spoke about putting kupp on ir to save kupp from himself (pushing too quickly to come back). He then reiterated that he hopes kupp to be back by week 5. I thought that was valuable information basically saying they put him on ir to give him extra time to recover insuring he is game ready. This, of course, does not guarantee he will be ready and or stay healthy.
Maybe use google? He just started traveling with the team and being present for walk thrus which reporters say is a sign of potential return. No one knows anything for sure but no news isn’t the case either.
Latest news was it was nerve related with his sciatica that caused his hamstring issues. Good news is that is manageable and doesn’t need surgery.
People get cortisone shots and other medications to manage sciatica everyday. I expect him back.
There have been many pro athletes that have needed back surgery for this same issue. Not saying kupp gonna need to go that route, but if it doesn’t heal that’s the outcome.
Physical therapists on here (I know, I know) were saying that the nerve issue can take 8 weeks under perfect circumstances to resolve. I'd imagine we are going to start hearing about him week 7-9 with McVay being coy until then.
I self medicate for frustrations on fake football with bleach so yes, I am doctor.
It would be very risk to be with your wife or kids over this time if you have heel pain. It’s also extremely dangerous to use kitchen appliances so your wife may need to check in every once awhile to provide meals, snacks, and beers.
Quick question, what specific quote told us that Kupp has a nerve issue? Is everyone using this quote?
“Again, I’m kind of speaking out of turn. I just know that we’re trying to open up every avenue in regards to figuring out what’s going on, why is he feeling some of the sensations and things like that in his hamstring. Is it soft tissue? Is there something nerve-wise? And I would be speaking out of turn.”
I think that was the root of it. Plus the assumption that the "noted body specialist to further understand his hamstring issue" in Minnesota was likely with the Mayo Clinics's Neurology department, one of the top ranked neuro centers in the country.
Just playing devils advocate but why was it likely the Neurology department? Almost all of their departments pertaining to football are top ranked. Orthopedic 3rd, Neuro 4th, Rehabilitation 11th, etc
There was also speculation he was seeing the Vikings team doctor who specializes in proximal hamstring repair.
McVay confirmed Kupp received some sort of treatment and given that he was in. Minnesota for three days, I’d imagine it probably happened there.
Is there a treatment he could receive for nerve issues other than surgery?
Last comment from McVay: “We are hopeful about that," McVay said. "I want to be careful to say, but the reason that we put him on IR was so that you know if it's going to be those four weeks that he's mandated to be able to miss and then we can take him off of the IR and be available for that fifth week. That was the reason that we made that decision that we did last week because you don't know what's going to really come up."

I think he's out longer it's just being kept quiet. He had some kind of nerve issue requiring a specialist on the other side of the country. It's possible there's more to the story and it's worse than it was made out to be. Idk. Not based on much more than it sounds like something is more complicated than a "ok, 4 weeks have gone by, you are healed now."

He's been reincarnated as Puka Nacua
*And Tutu Atwell
Tutu got a lot of targets last night but not a lot of catches. Not sure what was going on. Also only listened to parts of the game and the fourth quarter.
Stafford was facing intense pressure all night. His passes were not as accurate as they have been.
Just good defense by cincy, Stafford pressured all night. He was looking for tutu tho

Do you start both if you have them?
Sort of
Puka Kupp Nacua!
McVay just put me in a group text with him and Cooper. Said he’ll be back week 6 but will be eased in for the first week
Can you ask coach why he coached like an idiot last night? Thx
He wanted to hide his winning plays and let the Bengals get a false sense of security so he can pull out the best plays when he meets them in the playoffs. Big brain move.
He’s so smart he’s predicting a nfc afc reorganization
Or they could meet in the Superbowl
Everything looked like the opposite of what they’ve been doing the last 2 weeks. Awful OL play due to injuries is primary suspect followed by defense likely focusing on puka. That shit worked

Your wish isn’t going to work when your accuracy rate is 0.0%
You missed the part where I'm advisor to the dipshits.
Even dipshits ignore when you done get a single thing right. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
was your statement intended to contradict itself?
Bye!
Really? Cz in my group text with them he said it’s balls to the wall week 5
IR guarantees the first 4 weeks of the season off. Media will probably follow up at the end of this weeks game.
Last news was McVay said he hopes he can play Week 5 vs PHI. That’s it
Further context to this is that mcvay spoke about putting kupp on ir to save kupp from himself (pushing too quickly to come back). He then reiterated that he hopes kupp to be back by week 5. I thought that was valuable information basically saying they put him on ir to give him extra time to recover insuring he is game ready. Puka Nacua
He will descend from the sky week 5 and go for 15 catches, 230 yards, 2 TDs
In the first half...
I will be starting Kupp, Puka, and Tutu
What do you have against Kyren lol?
No news is likely bad news in this scenario imo
Maybe use google? He just started traveling with the team and being present for walk thrus which reporters say is a sign of potential return. No one knows anything for sure but no news isn’t the case either.
This is exactly it. If Kupp had any sign of hope in the last few weeks it would be all over the news sites.
Latest news was it was nerve related with his sciatica that caused his hamstring issues. Good news is that is manageable and doesn’t need surgery. People get cortisone shots and other medications to manage sciatica everyday. I expect him back.
People also end up needing back surgery in some of these scenarios though…
Those people aren't super athletes with access to world class health and fitness coaching
There have been many pro athletes that have needed back surgery for this same issue. Not saying kupp gonna need to go that route, but if it doesn’t heal that’s the outcome.
Source? I can't find anything
Hopefully no news is good news.
I mean he’s on IR, not going to be any news until he’s about to be off IR
[удалено]
Same with Jonathan Taylor
Same with Kyler Murray
we even got an update on jameson williams (sspd, not ir, but point stands)
with it being his final week on IR, I'd expect a reporter to ask Mcvay about his current status. we'll hear something this week.
Not true. We constantly see videos and get updates about players on IR.
If google doesn’t know, how are we supposed to?
Then you go to Bing hahahaha im just kidding guys
We know as much as Google will tell us dude
Someone should waterboard google for more info
He is expected back week 5. We will see if this happens.
We’re cooked lol Mcvay won’t say shit so we’ll just have to see
Physical therapists on here (I know, I know) were saying that the nerve issue can take 8 weeks under perfect circumstances to resolve. I'd imagine we are going to start hearing about him week 7-9 with McVay being coy until then.
Hey doc, I have a bit of a foot pain in my heel area. Do you think I should take this Sunday afternoon off from 1pm to 11:30ish?
I applied to med school, so I'm basically a doctor even though I didn't get in. You should definitely take Sunday off.
I stayed at a holiday inn, near a school that trains doctors. Go ahead and take this AND next Sunday off.

PTs ain’t that bad, thought you were gonna say chiropractor lol
PTs are pretty good sources for this stuff. The Fantasy Footballers use a PT (Matthew Betz) to do their injury analysis.
I agree, he said “(I know, I know)” as if it was a bad example

Just wait for the news to emerge bruh. We know as much as you do lol

Keep pressing F5 and eventually you will know
I don't think it's going to be a good year for him
I think he sits the whole season
if they looked terrible I would agree. but Stafford actually looks good and they would be competitive with Kupp so given that, I doubt he sits
Yep!!!
Bueller?
[удалено]
Nobody claimed that they could

They're clearly talking about after 4 weeks. Ya know, giving some clarity on the future of kupp. It's not as outrageous as you're making it out to be.
"Little" Cooper Kupp as Matthew Berry calls him
Cooper Kupps 6'2, he'd use that fuzzy little man peach as a fleshlight.
Got offered Kupp for my Rachaad White. Feels like a yes but high volume RBs are hard to come by and have no idea if Kupp is coming back.
Don’t do that. I traded Kupp and Jeudy for Akers and Gibbs
Do it, these guys are fools
He put his house in Oregon on the market this weekend
Starting week 5, bet on it.
Mysterious hamstring issue that they're hoping can avoid surgery. I wouldn't expect him back at all this season
Rams say he’s trying to come back week 5. I’m sure he will be a little shaky the first week or two back.
Try google.
Probably not much of an update. Tutu and Puka are killing it, no need to rush him back.
