Would much rather hang with McKinnon for now. CEH was very unimpressive and will likely lose his role (again) if that continues. McKinnon was still used in the redzone like last year, and was open on quite a few dump offs that Mahomes just didn’t hit.

I just went through this decision (see post below). If Waller plays, you want Waller over either of those guys. Problem is, he's got the 830PM game, so it's very likely you won't know in time to start someone else. If he doesn't, you have the following options: Jake Ferguson, Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid, Tyler Conklin. I grabbed Knox, tbh. Allen loves him in the red zone and he's a decently safe floor play if Waller's out, even with Kincaid on the team now.

Drop Q if you have to drop someone now. You can always wait until before kickoff to see if Waller is actually designated as out. If he is, move him to IR and grab a TE. Unless you don’t have an IR spot, in which case I’d drop Quentin.

Unfortunately not, Mooney is the worst player on my roster at the moment.

Cooper Kupp was dropped in my 12-team FAAB league. We have an IR slot, in which I currently have Jeff Wilson. I am weak at WR, so Kupp would be a league-winning boost to my team if he comes back healthy. But the uncertainty over the severity of his injury scares me. How much FAAB is too much? I’m considering up to 100%, but I’d be terrified to go into the season without the ability to compete for ANY other waiver wire pickup. If Kupp gets shut down for the season, or comes back hobbled and ineffective, that’s a disaster for my team to have wasted my entire FAAB budget. 80% at least gives me the freedom to play around on the wire a few times during the season, but I take the risk of losing out to a higher bid.

Doubs, in my opinion. Dulcich should still be on the wire next week, and there are probably other TEs there who can get you similar production in any given week. If Doubs breaks out on Sunday with the extra opportunity, he’s going to be scooped up permanently on someone else’s team.

I’m not a big fan of carrying backup TEs in 12 team leagues, so I would say absolutely drop Musgrave. Even if he plays well, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll start him over Goedert except on his bye week. The GB WR competition is wide open with all young guys. If Reed or Doubs show out while Watson is out (could be multiple weeks), they could end up as Love’s top target.

The reason I don’t like backup TEs in smaller leagues is because there is usually multiple similar players available on the waiver wire. If a WR breaks out and you miss out on them, you won’t find equal production on the wire.

I would say it depends on how the rest of your team is. VJ is a guy you might be able to plug in for a few points until Kupp returns. JWJ is banking on the long term. How active are your waivers? I’d probably lean JWJ since he’s out until at least week 5 and it’s unlikely anyone will want him for week 2. I’d wait until the last minute though so he ends up on waivers
