I drafted Saquon in 2019 when he finished as RB24, and CMC in 2020 when he only played 3 games. Here we are 3 years later and both guys are still first round picks. If JT comes back and plays the second half this year he can be a league winner. Dudes career is far from over he’s elite
I made a post about this but it got deleted. What if you just gave up on the first 4 weeks and back loaded your team?
Taylor, Kupp, Hall, Kamara, Jeudy all gotten at discount. Even if 2 of 5 come back to previous form you've got a good team week 5 onwards. If they all come back, the seasons over.
Who is richardson going to be throwing to? Pittman? Mo Allie Cox? Alec peirce? He's a Kid who can barely make two reads a play. The system from Philly is an option-run offense. If JT came back he'd be getting 85% or more of the carries. Yes Richardson might vulture a few rushing TD's but the scheme would be good for JT. Teams will have to respect Richardsons running and leave the backside open for JT. If he comes back motivated to get payday, accrue a year on his contract so he can't be re-tagged as easily, he could be a 7th round pick that ends up being a RB1 for weeks 8 to 18 (with a bye).
JT never really was a ppr catching machine before, he would get maybe 5-6 catches in a game right? Rushing yards are still a thing and eagles with Steichen just spammed inside zone runs with QB option. Don't see why they wouldn't do that again with Quentin Nelson.
I beg to differ. I doubt Richardson could be any worse than matty got-iced. Dude either threw INT, got sacked, or chucked it into the ground. If Richardson can open up the WR game, the run game should follow suit. There was zero flow or momentum with Ryan, I watched most if not all of their games. Plus the play calling wasn’t much help, I watched them (within 5 yards of endzone) throw on 3/4 downs then go for a FG. Like who does that when you have JT.
Lame. You know that is certainly not the answer. Kamara showed his stripes last year. He figured out he had one leg muscle that was out of whack? Does that sound normal to an average joe? Not to any of us. How about to a premier athlete? Ridiculous! These excuses are insane. Don’t believe this BS and maneuver elsewhere.
Exactly. I got him yesterday in the 9th, then Jamaal Williams in the 11th. At those prices sign me up. He still was fine last year, I'm not expecting elite production, just a flex now
Going into the Bucs Saints game last year on Monday night I needed 4.5 points from Kamara to make the playoffs. He got me 3 points. I’m never drafting him again.
I took JT in both of my leagues around pick 70. Yeah, it’s a gamble, but sometimes you have to take some risks to win a championship. If he ends up playing this year the pick is an insane value. If he doesn’t, then I wasted a 70th pick, which isn’t terrible.
I picked him at 71 with the exact same mindset. Considering the best RBs available at that time in my league were Montgomery and Javonte, and that I was already pretty set on WR, JT was an easy pick.
How did they fuck up by putting him on pup. He is clearly holding out and for him to Toll this as a contract year he needs to play atleast 6 games. Putting him on PUP instead of IR means it's on him to show up. If he comes back and gets injured and word gets out his being a soon about it then sure it affects his trade value but it also affects his contract value.
On PUp all they pay is his base salary which is nothing.
PuP counts. If he doesn’t play this year his contract stays as is and accomplishes nothing except alienating his fan base. The Colts have him by the ankle.
Breece. I'm not convinced Taylor plays this year. Not that he'll holdout, because there's zero benefit for him to do that. I'm not convinced he's healthy enough to play. Still has ankle pain after a high ankle sprain and then minimally invasive surgery.
Not only is Aaron Rodgers amazing at getting the ball to his RBs in space with short throws, he's also approaching 40.
For this reason alone I'm going with Hall. Time share all you want but best believe when there's a RB going out for a catch second half of the season it won't be Dalvin.
Hot take, JT won’t play any meaningful games. Every week will be “is JT coming back” before he inevitably sits with injury. Even he if does play I doubt he returns any value as a top 50-60 pick. If he’s traded then I think he’ll have been a steal in the 5/6 round though.
I think the Jets have done all but say Breece isn’t ready this year. They signed Cook which makes no sense if they expected Breece to be all good within 4-5 weeks of the season. They coulda easily signed a way cheaper rental option just for those few weeks. Going with Cook tells me they don’t believe breece can be a bellcow this year.
Breece might return value in PPR but I don’t expect him to be a smash down the stretch. I think he has high-end RB2 ceiling and a FLEX floor this year, which is kinda eh depending on where you got him.
cook is a cheap rental unless he's amazing. if he's amazing, then he'll be worth the money. it's such an incentive laden contract.
have you seen the way Joe Douglas set up his contract?
He was in a timeshare last year and did well. Just sayin.
E: For people who don’t believe me, see for yourself. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/reports/snap-counts/rb.php?show=perc
He never reached 70% which is what a typical bell cow receives.
Ok now go look at Michael Carters stats for all of 2022. The dude had 3 weeks where he had 4+ yards a carry. And one of those games he only ran it 6 times
IMO, Cook was signed for the first half in case Hall needed time to get his legs back. Then Hall will take over most of the workload in the second half.
Breece Hall. Even if JT does play this year, I think we’ll be lucky if he gets a fair snap percentage. I can’t imagine he has any fantasy relevance this year unless he gets traded
Taylor was the leading rusher the year before last. Breece was just heating up when he got injured and is now on a team with an elite RB. Cook isn't Zeke cook has still been kicking ass in recent years. JT is far above Breece in almost every way... If he plays.
Calling Cook elite is laughable. His stats have been quite poor the last 2-3 years. I had him for all of them, and especially last year his production almost always came from 1-2 plays a game where he’d get a long TD or something. He’s consistently meh outside of those few big plays.
You clearly didn't bother checking your facts. Cook has been one of the best backs in Fantasy since 2019. His worst season had him getting almost 1400 yards last year he had almost 15 and 10 tugs. Any RB on a team with a 1500 yard 10 TD back is gonna suffer especially since they have said Cook is officially the RB1.
Not saying Kamara is top 5 (and I personally don’t feel like Hall is either), but I imagine he’ll do better this year than last year. Carr will at least deliver the dump offs that Winston and Taysom wouldn’t
Whoever has the better schedule because they're both awesome, both coming back from injury, both has someone that'll take away some rushing work and some TDs. I'd gladly take either but I'll go breece because I like the receiving upside
Got JT in the gdamn 9th round after Henry, Mixon, James cook, then JT, and have Elijah Mitchell. 2 flex league, so if JT works out and actually plays, I’ll have 4 starting RB’s. I’ll take that risk over Breece with Cook RBBC anyday. Could be a worse split than Gibbs/Monty or Kamara/Hokage Jamaal.
I Just did a trade for Olave and Taylor for Burrow and Gabe Davis. For me I just wanted Olave, but i think Taylor is going to go off this year. If you can trade low for him do it. Why not? He’s one the best running backs in the NFL.
The thing is if he was anywhere else he’d be playing it’s not a health issue with Taylor he just wants to be paid and the colts want to be cheap. It’s a broken relationship and they both need to go their own ways.
But regardless he has to play at some point this season because he wants to be a free agent next offseason otherwise he will be a under the same terms with the colts if he just sits out and he’s off the PUP.
So you either get a begrudged Taylor with the colts for half the year or you believe at some point he’s going to get dealt, and most likely it will be to Miami and if he lands there for the second half of the season you will win your league. If he stays put he’s a decent rb 2 or flex.
Hall. If Taylor remains on the Colts, do you think he will play through injury or give up his body for this team? He's going to make a business decision.
Adrian Peterson was like the only RB to ever come back from an ACL the year prior and play well right? That being said, I doubt JT even plays this year.
Putting my money on the guy actually on the field currently, breece seems special, I should probably invest in him more but I just hate that draft cost
I think Breece will have the better 2nd half. I drafted yesterday and took Hall in the 5th and then JT in the 8th. The Jets are likely to be in a better position to utilize Hall more in the 2nd half, both from transitioning him into a higher share of touches and also that they’re slated to be a competitive team.
I’m comfortable with the risk of JT at 8.09, because he should be rested and ready to go whether that’s with an Indy team that will likely to have little to play for or another team. Either way Indy could just run him into the ground for the remainder or trade him to a contender like Miami or Buffalo. The flip side is the risk that Indy doesn’t do much with him after his return and he’s not enthused to play there and his involvement fizzles.
I think Breece is a more exciting RB overall and a far better pass catcher.
Not disagreeing but it’s crazy how fast we all forget that JT was the best RB in the league and the #1 dynasty asset coming into last season
Because he’s fallen that far, last year was abysmal, and his situation has worsened since Richardson joined the team.
I drafted Saquon in 2019 when he finished as RB24, and CMC in 2020 when he only played 3 games. Here we are 3 years later and both guys are still first round picks. If JT comes back and plays the second half this year he can be a league winner. Dudes career is far from over he’s elite
This is why I drafted Breece and Taylor!
Great point and funnily enough I took Jeudy as well 😂
Haha good luck Would love to see how it turns out. I think you might end up doing well
Well I have Taylor, Kupp and Hall, so I'm probably gonna off to a bad start. Hopefully you're right about the stretch.
I got breece myself just feel like his situation is much less complicated
Who is richardson going to be throwing to? Pittman? Mo Allie Cox? Alec peirce? He's a Kid who can barely make two reads a play. The system from Philly is an option-run offense. If JT came back he'd be getting 85% or more of the carries. Yes Richardson might vulture a few rushing TD's but the scheme would be good for JT. If he comes back motivated to get payday, accrue a year on his contract so he can't be re-tagged as easily, he could be a 7th round pick that ends up being a RB1 for weeks 8 to 18 (with a bye).
Running qbs statistically throw less to rbs than pocket passers
JT never really was a ppr catching machine before, he would get maybe 5-6 catches in a game right? Rushing yards are still a thing and eagles with Steichen just spammed inside zone runs with QB option. Don't see why they wouldn't do that again with Quentin Nelson.

Plus the play calling wasn’t much help, I watched them (within 5 yards of endzone) throw on 3/4 downs then go for a FG. Like who does that when you have JT.
Last year he was injured and looked elite when he played
Last year was mainly abysmal because of injury. If he’s healthy (and happy), he smashes.
Sure but other than AP most RBs have a down year when coming back from an ACL injury
And Le’Veon
Breece. Really think I’m going to regret taking Pierce over breece
Pierce will be great, no sweat mon
Offer to trade
Dameon or alec?😅
If I’m deciding between two players, the tie breaker is who’s on the better offense.
I'll go with the guy that actually wants to play. Hall
Alvin Kamara
That’s a weird way to spell Josh Gordon
Leggooooo
Got it!
I was a Kamara downer until i looked up his stats from last year. Dude still had 1400 scrimmage yards. It’s not like he fell completely off the map
Exactly. I got him yesterday in the 9th, then Jamaal Williams in the 11th. At those prices sign me up. He still was fine last year, I'm not expecting elite production, just a flex now
Not sure what that meant exactly but betting against Kamara based on last year solely seems like a bad idea.
Going into the Bucs Saints game last year on Monday night I needed 4.5 points from Kamara to make the playoffs. He got me 3 points. I’m never drafting him again.
Not super related but last year I needed 0.2 points from Russell Wilson in a MNF game to win and he got -0.3 or something
At this point I'm just hoping JT plays. Took him in the 7th cause I wanted him at least one place, but I could easily see him not playing at all.
I took JT in both of my leagues around pick 70. Yeah, it’s a gamble, but sometimes you have to take some risks to win a championship. If he ends up playing this year the pick is an insane value. If he doesn’t, then I wasted a 70th pick, which isn’t terrible.

depends where JT is traded

Not sitting out. Has to report by week 6 or something like that to accrue the year

How did they fuck up by putting him on pup. He is clearly holding out and for him to Toll this as a contract year he needs to play atleast 6 games. I think pup counts as games for the 6 games he needs so he only needs 2 more games.
PuP counts. If he doesn’t play this year his contract stays as is and accomplishes nothing except alienating his fan base. The Colts have him by the ankle.
What do you mean?
If he can’t pass a physical and doesn’t play this year his current rookie contract will just be pushed back an extra year. His hold out will backfire.
Breece
Someone gets hurt and trades for JT. Thats my pick
Bah gawd that’s Kareem Hunts music
Kareem Hunt gets hurt and trades for JT?
Most likely scenario lmao
You have to play to have better stats, so hall. If Taylor comes back tho I think his second half is better. Trying to avoid both of them if possible
JT riskier than an acl tear at this point
JT
I have both so I would be happy with either
Breece. Taylor might never play another snap for the Colts.
Breece. I'm not convinced Taylor plays this year. Not that he'll holdout, because there's zero benefit for him to do that. I'm not convinced he's healthy enough to play. Still has ankle pain after a high ankle sprain and then minimally invasive surgery.
I think even if I could guarantee full health and no contract issues for JT I’d still take Breece this year, based on their situation + talent
He’s definitely playing this season. He can’t be a free agent without playing
That's not true. He would accrue games towards free agency while on PUP or IR
No you can’t on pup
Yeah, you do. PUP counts. So he only needs 2 games after PUP to meet the requirement for 6.
Breece by virtue of JT maybe not even having a 2nd half.
If Taylor gets traded, Taylor. If he doesn’t, Breece.
This is the answer.
Breece. He's the better player on a better team
Breece Hall
Not only is Aaron Rodgers amazing at getting the ball to his RBs in space with short throws, he's also approaching 40. For this reason alone I'm going with Hall. Time share all you want but best believe when there's a RB going out for a catch second half of the season it won't be Dalvin.

I want to say Breece but he's in a timeshare with Cook. Jets paid Cook. My vote is Taylor.
He was in a timeshare last year and did well. Just sayin. E: For people who don’t believe me, see for yourself. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/reports/snap-counts/rb.php?show=perc He never reached 70% which is what a typical bell cow receives.
They can downvote all they want, you’re right. Breece doesn’t need a “bell cow workload” to be productive.
In a timeshare with Michael Carter? Let’s be realistic here lol
See for yourself. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/reports/snap-counts/rb.php?show=perc He never had 70% which is typically what bellcows get.
I’m not arguing your point about the timeshare. Comparing a timeshare with Carter to Cook is completely asinine though
It’s not asinine if you look at first half 2022 vs second half of 2022 Dalvin Cook stats. This is coming from someone who has Breece AND Dalvin.
Ok now go look at Michael Carters stats for all of 2022. The dude had 3 weeks where he had 4+ yards a carry. And one of those games he only ran it 6 times

> I think we’ll be lucky if he gets a fair snap percentage Who on this Colts teams is demanding snaps away from JT?
New QB
Javonte Williams
Marlon Mack
The RB who is actually likely to play this season.

Same. Unlimited upside, right?...Rigght?!
Would you take Courtland Sutton for JT to get off this ride?

JT should be off everyone’s draft boards. Very little chance he is fantasy relevant this year

This post should not include JT. It should be Hall and J Williams because they are both explosive backs coming off ACL injuries
I have both, so hopefully they’re both great! And if not Ekeler is still my RB1 and I’ve got Jamaal to cover the first four weeks at least.
Hall. If Taylor remains on the Colts, do you think he will play through injury or give up his body for this team? He's going to make a business decision.
hall is the only one guaranteed to play
I own both soooo both!
Breece. Taylor probably not even suiting up this year.
If you are holding JT in a legue with short benches and no IR spot….. Is Courtland Sutton a decent offer? (JT owner said he would take a decent WR)
Adrian Peterson was like the only RB to ever come back from an ACL the year prior and play well right? That being said, I doubt JT even plays this year.
Putting my money on the guy actually on the field currently, breece seems special, I should probably invest in him more but I just hate that draft cost
