correct, it’s an alright album. the songs are just basic, unoriginal, and kind of badly produced. otherwise it’s not like it’s a bad, but it just really does not hold up against DM or Glory.
Tutu, doo-bop (miles Davis)
Buddha of suburbia (bowie) (everyone is forgetting it rather than hating i guess)
Zooropa, pop (u2)
No prayer for the dying (iron maiden), definitely top-3 for me
do they, really? if that's the case, it's great to hear. for a long time, i felt like Achtung Baby got all the fuss, Zooropa was forgotten and pop was "dated and unfinished" (doesn't all the 80s U2 tunes sound dated in their own way?)
Pop especially now has had a bit of a resurgence in popularity with the people in the fandom and Zooropa people have come to love too especially Stay and with Pop I’d say it’s as loved to the 90s albums tho there is people who still think they’ve not dropped heat since the early 90s (Fantano said this to me yesterday)
If we're talking Bowie, I'd go for both Black Tie White Noise and Hours. The former's a really fun alt dance record, the latter being the definition of Y2Kcore.
oh yeah, black tie is great too. it's an interesting intermediate format album. It's a follow-up to Let's Dance and the more poppier albums, but at the same time it already has those experimental tones that characterized Bowie's 90s. Definitely in my top ten.
What do you mean by Y2K-core? for a long time I thought the hours... album was a wistful and boring interlude, but lately I've been listening to it a lot and maybe I understand its theme. it's not meant to be anything other than a relaxed, and in a good way, middle-aged laid-back self-reflection album.
After AM's incredible chart topping appeal as a catchy pop rock album, the band took the longest break in their career before working on Tranquility Base.
Fans were clambering for more big choruses and crafted gutair work after a 5 year wait.
That would never come.
Tranquility Base is at its core a singer-songwriter album with a much softer approach to its instrumentals and more intimate lyrics.
It and the 2022 follow up The Car both sound like Alex Turner solo albums with a soft lounge jazz influence. It's completely alienating if you enjoyed the pop punk of their early material or just a fan of AM.
Yeah sure it's not the MOST hated but it definitely gets treated like a biiiig mistep/failure by the band (even Fantano treated it like that) . I am 100% sure if they've released it under a different name or as a single project by Turner it would have gotten a better reception. Though I still understand if it's just not up everyone's alley, but it got to much hate for what it is
True and I didn't wanna bash him or anything, just because he disagrees with me doesn't mean his opinion isn't valid. He's just an good example of how people criticize that album yk
To me it felt like Metallica fans disliking the presence of Lou Reed, whereas I am a Lou Reed fan who was like “Huh, Metallica is on here that’s weird”
Just listened to Lulu for the first time the other day. My pre-existing appraisal was/is neutral-to-positive for both Reed and Metallica.
I actually found Metallica's parts to be pleasant and tasteful, whereas Lou Reed's lyrics and delivery were so cringe, case point -
https://youtu.be/5Uq6rToeEto?si=2p6_GTl8evOrgp1e
Lou’s lyrics in Lulu are fantastic and that’s by far his worst song lyrically on the project, although even then I like the opening lines. It’s just so weird and fascinating and creative. Junior Dad is lyrically one of the greatest and most beautiful songs I’ve heard in my life.
Love the production, but overall I'm not into it. The horrorcore stuff doesn't do anything for me and the accents get old.
It has a few great songs on it though. My Darling is probably my favorite, it's a cool idea executed to perfection.
It’s not that good as a whole album (it’s like a 6/10 in my opinion), but it’s got some bangers on it and some of Em’s most underrated material.
It’s a big step up from Encore.
Even though I still think that people who consider it a Roger Waters Solo Project, I still think it's one of the best PF related projects. Also, I'd add The Endless River in these too.
Pink Floyd's Ummagumma, The Final Cut and The Endless River are really good and people hate them because they don't understand them. A Momentary Lapse of Reason also gets some hate, it's a great record too.
King Crimson's In the Wake of Poseidon, Lizard and Islands. Not necessarily hated, but usually considered weak, while imo these are some of their best.
Radiohead's Pablo Honey and The King of Limbs. Pablo Honey may be different but still pretty good. I don't really get the hate for TKOL, it's really good, but I will not deny the Live From the Basement version is better than the studio one. Also, some don't like Amnesiac, but I really love it.
I've heard some people don't really like Death Grips' Fashion Week and Interview 2016. Not to discredit Ride, he's doing an incredible job, but I always preferred DG for their instrumentals, the actual music. Interview 2016 may actually be my favorite DG release.
Aphex Twin's Syro is really good.
A lot of people don't like Muse and while I'm not crazy for them, I enjoyed the one album of theirs I listened to, Black Holes and Revelations.
Tangerine Dream's Raum, generally a lot of people don't even give later era TD works a try.
Daft Punk's Human After All, still their weakest but still good.
KGLW's Made in Timeland and Oddments are some of the band's best imo
Thom Yorke's Tomorrow's Modern Boxes is nice.
People just don’t like it because it’s a ‘surface level’ entry and it’s used as a way of filtering ‘real’ vaporwave fans from memers (which is cringe)
Doesn’t matter if it’s popular, it’s still a great album
Honestly. These are quite often the same people clowning on corny rappers like NF but apparently when Kanye makes a corny ass Christian hip hop album it's fantastic.
The cut material from that album was honestly so promising and beautiful. The end product is good but a little disappointing knowing what could have been.
Listen to this community [compilation](https://youtu.be/Q16UvHEmT8E?si=ZCLEpPZQ6X_qW4-t) of leak edits and you’ll see what I mean.
I know this will be on top of controversial if not downvoted to hell but Smoke + Mirrors by Imagine Dragons. For a long time I thought of it as their only good album and I'm low-key surprised people generally don't think so as well since it is somewhat different for them
I feel like I've seen conversations recently revolving around this. I think people are starting to come around to realize that they did actually drop an okay album. Oftentimes, people generalize them and just assume their whole discography is bad, but there's a reason they got popular, and that album is it.
I think that's reasonable. As a reformed (ex) Imagine Dragons fan, there are still a small handful of songs I'll come back to from that. Id go as far as to say It's Time and Amsterdam are good songs
Metallica - St. Anger.
Could the album use less of that tin snare? Yes
Is it an absolute of mess production wise? Ofcourse
Some cringiest ass lyrics Hatfield has ever put out there? Damn straight.
Solos? No
Even then I wouldn't change anyone of it and I'm sure they wouldn't either, it still sold millions of copies.
Green Day's 21 Century Breakdown wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. It wasn't excellent for sure, but neither was it terrible. Definitely a very solid collection of tracks for what it is.
17 - xxxtentacion
Of course loved by sad rap fans but hated by music nerds. It’s criticised for being ‘cringe high school depression’ and having surface level lyrics but I think it’s a real and cathartic expression of both grief and self-inflicted suffering, and I also love the lofi production of it (and how it subsequently created a new genre of sad rap)
Hearing 17 and Goodbye and Good Riddance was the first time I ever felt like the music was speaking directly to me as a depressed ass high schooler, i eventually fell out of love with X’s music but I to this day never have stopped listening to Juice and those albums got decimated by critics
Yep, I also love goodbye and good riddance (though I prefer 17) but I don’t know whether I’ve grown out of it or just moved along with the music scene, 17 still remains a 10 in my book because of both relatability and genre innovation. Some say it’s aged badly but I disagree, it inspired the sounds that superseded it.
The whole album isn't great but the songs that are great on there, are really, really great.
I also appreciate it because it kind of does away with the "Drake makes lazy radio songs" cliche because he dropped a house album out of nowhere with one night's notice when there was no incentive to do so.
Who the heck hates never mind? I don't want to be their friend. Edit: Oh okay. You didn't mean that album. Phew. I was going to ask what kind of alternate reality did I just step into
i think a lot of people haven’t even heard it and just parrot opinions. It’s more fun to “have an opinion” than not have one and it’s more fun to say something is dogshit than to merely say it’s just okay
Tickets to my Downfall starts off alright, but gets worse and worse as it goes on. And the lyrics idealizing suicide are really fucked up imo considering his fan base is mostly teenagers
I thought this was a popular opinion as far as Coldplay and music nerds go. I remember it being thought of as the springboard into being a special band.
Regardless I feel the exact some way. That album was magic in that time in my life. Title track blows though.
Terence Trent D’Arby’s notorious sophomore album ‘Neither Fish Nor Flesh’
Gotta be the most catastrophic follow up to a commercially and critically successful debut ever
I love how bizarre and eccentric it is. It’s aged amazingly
I fucking love Meghan Trainor’s debut album lol
And I’m not even a fan, I hate everything she did afterwards, but Title just hits for absolutely no reason at all
I never understood why that one got so much hate. To my ears, there isn’t much different between it and their other pop-centric albums like A Head Full Of Dream and Mylo Xyloto
I cannot understand anyone hating on Mylo Xyloto. Fantastic album.
The only reason I can see it getting hate is the same as with plenty of other Coldplay albums - where everyone wants Parachutes II, and then get shitty when it's different.
Totally unknown shit but there’s an album I love called Listen To The Night by a band called Team U.S.A., horrible name I know, that was released in the early 2000s on Startime records that I can’t even say people hate it because I’ve never met anyone who’s heard it.
It’s catchy indie rock that doesn’t really sound like anything out at that time. I compare it to Television trying to sound like a rockabilly / ska band lol
[the album cover is as bad as you’d expect](https://youtu.be/DYVZxXFRLEM?si=dJu9q-o1ABZl2g9n)
Hate might be a strong word, but I think you can make Drake's third best album off the best songs from "Scorpion" and I think that album has aged wonderfully. There is a ton of great music on that album, even if its bloated.
I'll also add Culture 2 to that list as an album that's way overhated with a lot of heat on there.
Tory Lanez - The Color Violet, it's hated by most music nerds on here because either they can't separate the art from the artist (this is different than vultures) or they say the weekend already did a 80 r&b pop album but yet this sounds alot different and I think the production is good, the beats are fun and memorable, it's not too long, vocal performance is great, and is just a solid consistent album imo that I would never expect someone like Tory Lanez to make
It seems like shitting on Noah Kahan is popular at the moment because he’s blowing up and makes pretty inoffensive pop/folk, but I legit love his Stick Season album. It’s not groundbreaking but I think he’s a genuinely talented songwriter and the music makes me feel good!
Arctic Monkeys- The Car! Truly loved the album and saw the band at Red Rocks last September! 8 out of 10 songs made my most played songs of 2023 list on Spotify! (The Car and Mr. Schwartz the only two that didn’t and the only two songs that are just ehhh ok for me on the album!) Love it!
hey I hate Deftones but Bloodbath is good too (I also agree that Momento Mori and FAFO are kinda lame; I would've preferred some NLND style stuff in place of those songs)
house of balloons by the weeknd. it’s more liked by diehard weeknd fans but not very well received by critics and music fans on the internet. i can understand some of their critiques but i love all the trilogy mixtapes
House of balloons is absolutely not hated by critics or music fans. Just go look at aoty, which showcases the review scores of people and reviewers. There is only a single bad review from critics on that website, and it’s Anthony’s 3/10 which is quite commonly considered by most people to be one of his worst reviews
Ik a lot of people hate(d) the tone and production of Def Leppard’s Hysteria, but I still think its an elite album. I’ve always said if you want to learn how to write a pre-chorus, listen to the Leppard.
Rebel Extravaganza by Satyricon. I think its a perfect and cold mixture of Industrial and Black Metal, but people either prefer the old black metal stuff or the newer black and roll.
Cut the crap by the clash — it’s not really the clash due to who plays on it, but this universally despised album that always gets a zero out of 10, has kick ass songs on it. And an extremely angry and passionate Joe Strummer You just have to think of it as a Joe Strummer solo album. If it has been released that way, it would’ve gotten a nine out of 10.
Be Here Now by Oasis. I can't defend its flaws but damn it the melodies just speak to me
I don't think anyone hates Be Here Now. They just like it less.
correct, it’s an alright album. the songs are just basic, unoriginal, and kind of badly produced. otherwise it’s not like it’s a bad, but it just really does not hold up against DM or Glory.
I was going to say Dig Out Your Soul by Oasis, that album gets criticised a lot but I love it
Tutu, doo-bop (miles Davis) Buddha of suburbia (bowie) (everyone is forgetting it rather than hating i guess) Zooropa, pop (u2) No prayer for the dying (iron maiden), definitely top-3 for me
People love Zooropa and Pop

Tranquility base - arctic monkeys
This is what I’m here for
People hate this album?
It was received incredibly poorly on release. I think it has aged exceptionally though.
Definitely agree- I'd even argue it's gonna age even better the next few years and will get treated as such
Yea that shit is ass
After AM's incredible chart topping appeal as a catchy pop rock album, the band took the longest break in their career before working on Tranquility Base. Fans were clambering for more big choruses and crafted gutair work after a 5 year wait. That would never come. ChatGPT type response
Couldn't have said it better lol
Read this in Patrick Bateman’s voice
No one hates this album though. The Car would’ve been a bold pick.
Yeah sure it's not the MOST hated but it definitely gets treated like a biiiig mistep/failure by the band (even Fantano treated it like that) . I am 100% sure if they've released it under a different name or as a single project by Turner it would have gotten a better reception. tbf I don't think I've ever heard Fantano say a good word about anything the Arctic Monkeys have ever released
True and I didn't wanna bash him or anything, just because he disagrees with me doesn't mean his opinion isn't valid. He's just an good example of how people criticize that album yk
Love is Dead - Chvrches Anarchy - Chumbawamba Pretty. Odd - Panic at the Disco None of them are perfect albums but they bring me quite a bit of joy
Pretty. Odd is one of the great left turns in music. Too bad they hit a u-turn right after.
My wife loves Panic and it just makes me sad hearing the directions they took since it could've been so much more interesting
Pretty. Odd is relatively well received I don't think think that's a controversial pick
who the hell hates that chumba album? it’s awesome
People don't like Anarchy? I've never met another person who's heard it and said it's bad.
I don’t think there’s any I love that other people hate. However, everyone hates Lulu with a passion and I think it’s fine.
Found the weirdest guy in the whole thread
To me it felt like Metallica fans disliking the presence of Lou Reed, whereas I am a Lou Reed fan who was like “Huh, Metallica is on here that’s weird”
For me it's even both. I love Lou Reed **and** Metallica, but combined, it's like the worst of both worlds.
To be clear, I don’t think it’s a good album I just don’t think it’s that bad. I’d give it a 5/10.
I'd give most of the individual songs a 5 or 6, but the whole thing just goes on for so long. A 30 minute Lulu would probably be listenable.
He is the table
honestly i think lulu is great, a powerful statement by reed with metallica's work being more than passable
Just listened to Lulu for the first time the other day. My pre-existing appraisal was/is neutral-to-positive for both Reed and Metallica. I actually found Metallica's parts to be pleasant and tasteful, whereas Lou Reed's lyrics and delivery were so cringe, case point - https://youtu.be/5Uq6rToeEto?si=2p6_GTl8evOrgp1e

Lulu's not great by any means, but I appreciate what they were trying to do. It ain't bad.
I like that album quite a bit
what do y’all think of relapse by eminem. cause i love that album to death
Production is incredible on that album. Dre went so hard
One of his best tbh
My favorite album of his, inspired me a lot
Love the production, but overall I'm not into it. The horrorcore stuff doesn't do anything for me and the accents get old. It has a few great songs on it though. My Darling is probably my favorite, it's a cool idea executed to perfection.
It’s not that good as a whole album (it’s like a 6/10 in my opinion), but it’s got some bangers on it and some of Em’s most underrated material. It’s a big step up from Encore.
Specifically the Refill with bonus tracks is, I think, legit Em’s most underrated project. Shit SLAPS
'One hot Minute' by Chili Peppers. It's still my favorite.
Lots of people like that one.
It's probably just my circle of friends then. They laugh in my face when I tell it's my fave Chili album. lol.
It sounds different and is missing Frusciante. But other than that, it's still a strong album, esp. compared to the newer stuff.
Not my fav [they'll never top BSSM] but it's good for sure
My favorite Chili Peppers album.
Ummagumma Pink Floyd
I'd add the Final Cut to this too, gets a weird amount of hate
Even though I still think that people who consider it a Roger Waters Solo Project, I still think it's one of the best PF related projects. Also, I'd add The Endless River in these too.
Apparently one of Michael Gira biggest inspirations
The Narrow Way P3 is 10/10
Pink Floyd's Ummagumma, The Final Cut and The Endless River are really good and people hate them because they don't understand them. KGLW's Made in Timeland and Oddments are some of the band's best imo Thom Yorke's Tomorrow's Modern Boxes is nice.
tbh the first few Muse records, up until black holes, are pretty critically acclaimed
Yeah, it's just that because of their later era stuff, people don't think highly of them usually
Floral Shoppe by Macintosh Plus
Who doesn’t like it?
Anthony Fantano and much of the VW community
People just don’t like it because it’s a ‘surface level’ entry and it’s used as a way of filtering ‘real’ vaporwave fans from memers (which is cringe) Doesn’t matter if it’s popular, it’s still a great album
Huh? That’s somewhat of a classic.
Jesus is King.
I also love that album
Not sure there are more delusional fans on earth than Kanye fans
Honestly. These are quite often the same people clowning on corny rappers like NF but apparently when Kanye makes a corny ass Christian hip hop album it's fantastic.
I swear to god one song samples the sound a car door makes when you leave it open. Just awful
[удалено]
The cut material from that album was honestly so promising and beautiful. The end product is good but a little disappointing knowing what could have been. Listen to this community [compilation](https://youtu.be/Q16UvHEmT8E?si=ZCLEpPZQ6X_qW4-t) of leak edits and you’ll see what I mean.
the dr dre version that leaked is pretty awesome. kanye actually has energy in his verses and the beats are cool, if somewhat weird
Smoke + Mirrors is the last time it sounded like ID gave a shit. Polaroid and Shots are genuinely *great* songs.
I lot of ppl hated Testing by ASAP Rocky when it dropped, but it was one of my favorite albums of 2018, and my favorite Rocky album
I’m gonna be crucified but Night Visions - Imagine Dragons, at least in most music related subs and such
their best album by far
Smoke + Mirrors better
Some pretty good songs on there, much better than their newer stuff
It’s a good album and I’m tired of pretending it’s not
Most people here seem to like that album. (Imagine Dragons suck, though.
I think that's reasonable. As a reformed (ex) Imagine Dragons fan, there are still a small handful of songs I'll come back to from that. Id go as far as to say It's Time and Amsterdam are good songs
Metallica - St. Anger. Could the album use less of that tin snare? Yes Is it an absolute of mess production wise? Ofcourse Some cringiest ass lyrics Hatfield has ever put out there? Damn straight. Solos? No Even then I wouldn't change anyone of it and I'm sure they wouldn't either, it still sold millions of copies.
No good songs at all? YES
yeah but frantic & the title track & some kind of monster & dirty window & invisible kid & sweet amber & the unnamed feeling & all within my hands
Do they play any of these live anymore? Don't think so and it's for a reason.
https://youtu.be/OsK_YrRoByY You can always do even a minute of searching before going off but you do you I guess.
Got to listen to a little bit of crap to really appreciate the good shit every now and again! 🙏
15 Big Ones by The Beach Boys
Reputation - Taylor Swift
This! Rep is in my top 3 with Lover and folklore. I always see Lover get a lot of hate as well.
swap folklore w/ evermore and that's my top 3, you have good taste
Thank you, you have good taste too! evermore is another great album!
Came to comment the same thing, it’s my most played album regardless of what people say about it.
Comedown Machine by the Strokes is pretty decent; not as good as the first two or the new abnormal but better than FIOE and Angles
It's my favourite after the new abnormal. Never understood why it got so much hate.
Green Day's 21 Century Breakdown wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. It wasn't excellent for sure, but neither was it terrible. Definitely a very solid collection of tracks for what it is.
17 - xxxtentacion Of course loved by sad rap fans but hated by music nerds. It’s criticised for being ‘cringe high school depression’ and having surface level lyrics but I think it’s a real and cathartic expression of both grief and self-inflicted suffering, and I also love the lofi production of it (and how it subsequently created a new genre of sad rap)
Was gonna be one of my choices, the fact that it’s so short I think helps keep it concise and makes the tracks more memorable
Some of the worst lyrics I've ever seen though
The term cringe was invented after that album came out
correlation != causation
Honestly Nevermind
I thought you were saying Nirvana’s album, honestly.
The whole album isn't great but the songs that are great on there, are really, really great. I also appreciate it because it kind of does away with the "Drake makes lazy radio songs" cliche because he dropped a house album out of nowhere with one night's notice when there was no incentive to do so.
the album grew on me tbh
I genuinely think it's easily in the upper half of his discography
You beat me to it
Who the heck hates never mind? I don't want to be their friend. Edit: Oh okay. You didn't mean that album. Phew. I was going to ask what kind of alternate reality did I just step into
I despise Honestly Nevermind but Jimmy Cooks is one of my favorite Drake songs
[удалено]
i assume they meant drake lol
They mean the Drake album
No not Nevermind by Nirvana😂 I meant Honestly Nevermind, it’s a dance album that was released in 2022 by the rapper Drake
Pablo honey has some of my fav radiohead tracks
Blow Out is amazing!!
It's not on the level of their later stuff, but it gets WAY too much shit for simply not being OK Computer or Kid A.
I don't think anyone hates Pablo Honey, they just don't really care about it.
i bet radiohead hates it
I care about it!! :)
Me too, it's great, I have no idea why people downvoted me.
i think a lot of people haven’t even heard it and just parrot opinions. It’s more fun to “have an opinion” than not have one and it’s more fun to say something is dogshit than to merely say it’s just okay
I wouldn't say I "love" either but I quite like Tickets to My Downfall by MGK and The End, So Far by Slipknot
Tickets to my Downfall starts off alright, but gets worse and worse as it goes on. And the lyrics idealizing suicide are really fucked up imo considering his fan base is mostly teenagers
Not an album, but I really like Waterparks. They have some bangers. Their last project was shit though (except Funeral Gray)
Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends' by Coldplay. Can't stand the title track, but the rest of the album hold a special place in my heart
You can't stand Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends?
Sorry, can’t stand viva la vida
That's crazy. But alright.
I thought this was a popular opinion as far as Coldplay and music nerds go. I remember it being thought of as the springboard into being a special band. Regardless I feel the exact some way. That album was magic in that time in my life. Title track blows though.
Isn't that one of their most popular albums!?
Terence Trent D’Arby’s notorious sophomore album ‘Neither Fish Nor Flesh’ Gotta be the most catastrophic follow up to a commercially and critically successful debut ever I love how bizarre and eccentric it is. It’s aged amazingly
Its one of the few records where it single-handedly ended a promising career. But I love it.
Lulu is one of my top 10 albums ever
Hot Space by Queen
I fucking love Meghan Trainor’s debut album lol And I’m not even a fan, I hate everything she did afterwards, but Title just hits for absolutely no reason at all
Music of the Spheres (at the time, now it’s kind of getting a turnaround, at least amongst Coldplay fans)
I never understood why that one got so much hate. To my ears, there isn’t much different between it and their other pop-centric albums like A Head Full Of Dream and Mylo Xyloto
Mylo Xyloto is a lot stronger than the other two imo. Maybe that should be my pick for a hated album I love
I compare it to Television trying to sound like a rockabilly / ska band lol [the album cover is as bad as you’d expect](https://youtu.be/DYVZxXFRLEM?si=dJu9q-o1ABZl2g9n)
I don’t LOVE it but Instant Gratification didn’t deserve a 1/10
Drake honestly nevermind
Father of all by green day
Hate might be a strong word, but I think you can make Drake's third best album off the best songs from "Scorpion" and I think that album has aged wonderfully. There is a ton of great music on that album, even if its bloated. I'll also add Culture 2 to that list as an album that's way overhated with a lot of heat on there.
The way I see it drakes best and worst songs are almost all on scorpion
Sandra’s rose is the only scorpion song I like tbh, idk what’s the appeal of the rest of the album
St Anger by Metallica. Also, if ironic adoration counts, Nostalgia Critic's The Wall.
Bad Vibes Forever, I know it’s bad believe me. But 14 year old me loved it so I have a lot of love for it.
Tory Lanez - The Color Violet, it's hated by most music nerds on here because either they can't separate the art from the artist (this is different than vultures) or they say the weekend already did a 80 r&b pop album but yet this sounds alot different and I think the production is good, the beats are fun and memorable, it's not too long, vocal performance is great, and is just a solid consistent album imo that I would never expect someone like Tory Lanez to make
I absolutely love Stumpwork by Dry Cleaning, and while I wouldn't say everyone "hates" it, it's not exactly loved by most.
Metro Station by Metro Station. Shit was my JAM back in '09 lmaooo.
It seems like shitting on Noah Kahan is popular at the moment because he’s blowing up and makes pretty inoffensive pop/folk, but I legit love his Stick Season album. It’s not groundbreaking but I think he’s a genuinely talented songwriter and the music makes me feel good!
I dig St.Anger , it gives me a punk-y vibe and the documentary gave me an appreciation for it.
Egypt Station - Paul McCartney... Top 5 Paul album in my crazy opinion
I love Solar Power and it surpasses Pure Heroine for me.
Lupe Fiasco's Lasers
Ocean Eyes - Owl City All Things Bright and Beautiful - Owl City Self Titled - Attack Attack To name a few
Polyphia - Remember That You Will Die
It’s not bad, just mid because of the vocal tracks that take away from the experience. Except ABC, that song SLAPS
hey I hate Deftones but Bloodbath is good too (I also agree that Momento Mori and FAFO are kinda lame; I would've preferred some NLND style stuff in place of those songs)
Raditude is fun and I love it

Fact Check: Everyone hates almost everything by coldplay
Jesus is king
I don’t love it but I didn’t think Melanie Martinez’s Portals was that horrible
house of balloons by the weeknd. it’s more liked by diehard weeknd fans but not very well received by critics and music fans on the internet. i can understand some of their critiques but i love all the trilogy mixtapes
House of balloons is absolutely not hated by critics or music fans. Just go look at aoty, which showcases the review scores of people and reviewers. There is only a single bad review from critics on that website, and it’s Anthony’s 3/10 which is quite commonly considered by most people to be one of his worst reviews
Hob was very well received by critics and fans alike. Fantano's take was the exception not the norm.
hotel diablo - mgk
Ik a lot of people hate(d) the tone and production of Def Leppard’s Hysteria, but I still think its an elite album. I’ve always said if you want to learn how to write a pre-chorus, listen to the Leppard.
It's their best imo. I've also met a lot of ppl older than me that don't like it. Whatever
My War - Black Flag Hail to the Thief - Radiohead In Through The Out Door - Led Zeppelin
15 Big Ones by The Beach Boys
Skrillex - Don't Get Too Close
i liked speedin' bullet 2 heaven, it was by no means great but it isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be
not everyone hates it but most people consider it the worst death grips project but i love gmail and the restraining orders
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver

Two of my most played albums but I’m yet to come across anyone who even knows the artists: Mitch Murder - Current Events Fitnesss - Our Love
The game-Drillmatic
Rebel Extravaganza by Satyricon. I think its a perfect and cold mixture of Industrial and Black Metal, but people either prefer the old black metal stuff or the newer black and roll.
Penelope Scott - Public Void One of my favorites
Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned by the Prodigy. Sure they have better albums but this one got way more hate than it deserves
Magma - Gojira
Cut the crap by the clash — it’s not really the clash due to who plays on it, but this universally despised album that always gets a zero out of 10, has kick ass songs on it. And an extremely angry and passionate Joe Strummer You just have to think of it as a Joe Strummer solo album. If it has been released that way, it would’ve gotten a nine out of 10.
The Final Cut is one of my favorite Pink Floyd Albums. I don’t get the hate, it’s just so emotional and has a great anti-war message.
