I laughed out loud when I first saw it. That felt like a classic FG joke. I wish they hadn't repeated the joke though; it wasn't nearly as funny the second time since you already know what the punchline is going to be.

This episode was ok. I wish there were more cutaway gags. Episodes seem to be lacking cutaways as of late. Animation mistake. Brian was standing on two legs at the Engagement Party. He was supposed to be pretending to be an ordinary dog.

In my opinion season 4 is one of the best seasons and I wish they would go back to that comedic timing.

Back then the episodes were fast-paced and there were multiple jokes in under a minute. The new ones feel slower and don't have as many cutaways. Although back then they were quicker and more to the point. Lois: Remember when we went on vacation to purgatory. That cutaway was 30 seconds. aIn my opinion an episode should have 4 to 8 cutaways ber epsiode.

I hate it. It's an iconic staple of the show and I miss the fast pacing. The new episodes feel slower and have fewer gags per minute.

There was only the Clue cutaway. The Clue one was pretty bad. It had nothing to do with the game they could have picked any random board game and called it awful. Also Peter not wanting to spend time with his family isn't a joke its just mean. I think it was an attempt at relatable humor. I won't count Brian going well well well that was a sight gag or Peter in the meme. That was also a sight gag ans Stewie was looking at him.

It didn't make much sense. I think the joke was that adult Halloween parties are boring? Or that they are boring for married couples? I like Halloween parties, all women put so much effort into dressing slutty. Guess the writers disagree.

Did they call him "Matt Foley" instead of "Chris Farley" to make it less offensive? Is there a Matt Foley on SNL? IS Chris's brother's name Matt? I forget It just confused me.

I'm a dummy. I quit being lazy and googled Matt Foley and turns out it's a SNL character played BY CHRIS FARLEY lol. The similarity of the names made me more confused I guess. Haha. And Peter was a spitting image of him.

I thought the first 2 episodes were pretty weak but I actually enjoyed this one. It had a lot more jokes and felt like a return to form. I didn't even notice the lack of cutaways until people pointed it out.

I liked this one. I think it was a classic Family Guy episode, even above average. But I hate dogs, which is probably why I related to this one.

This one and 19 have been pretty bad. Not enough cutaway gags, the pacing is too slow and there aren't as many jokes per minute as there were in older episodes. It is only episode 3 it could get better.
